Yesterday I was at royan, and it was the worst experience of my life, I was in a lot of pain as I suddenly fell I'll at work, I was almost rolling on the floor in pain. Every single one of them were so non-challant, from the front desk to the nurse, to the doctor, to the lab person, everyone of them! They didn't care that I a grown woman was in tears cos of so much pain, they wouldn't even administer first-aid, saying they needed approval from HMO. Same me, had to call my HMO to get approval. I even told them to give me anything to relieve pain, that I would pay, they kept saying I should call my HMO. This is the worst emergency service I have ever encountered in my life, if you don't want to die, don't go there if you have an emergency!
While everyone seemed friendly, service was slow but that wasn’t the issue. The nurse at the pharmacy wanted us to sign an almost blank sheet cus we’re on HMO. My husband insisted he wasn’t going to sign a blank sheet saying he’s been told by the HMO company not to do such, the nurse immediately became rude and we ended up not taking the medications. He later explained to me that some of these hospitals go on to write out medications not received on the sheet so as to get more money from the HMO company. Anyone else had similar experience?
They have very rude receptionists and nurses; who act like they are doing you a favour. All they know is to assist with child birth, after that, nothing. The paediatrician is never around, even on days when he or she is expected to be consulting. Patients with sick children will just keep waiting for someone who never shows up. Every time I book an appointment to see the pediatrician , he or she never shows up; I'll end up taking my child to another hospital. These days, I don't even bother anymore.
It's one of the best hospitals you can find in ojodu Berger. It is characterised and easily distinguishable by its blue coloured building, two storeys tall. The hospital has good health care system and attend to both walk-in patients and HMO-covered patients as well. The staff there are quite polite and hospitable in my own experience. One thing to note though is that they can be quite expensive as well. In all, it's a good place to get health care.
I personally used this hospital in the past and I will tell you its the WORST, they even forgot to remove the cleaning materials use on my wife after birth, it was inside her for days before we knew. my advice is do not, I repeat do not near this hospital. The nurses are very rude, even the matrons. The good doctors are on per time except the MD who can not be everywhere at a time.
If it was possible to rate 0 star, that would be the best rating for this hospital. Their customer service is the worst I have seen. They are extremely slow in handling the simplest things. Please avoid this hospital if you can, especially if you don't want to be extremely annoyed and frustrated.
Service is averagely okay but my concern is their Hygiene level. The hospital is fine outside but inside especially the last floor where you have lab is always dirty . I feel like throwing up whenever I have to look at the thick dust on the fan. It seems there is no cleaner for other floors
My name is Ogunleye modupe, a friend of mine introduced me to Royan hospital, the moment I got there , the way the receptionist welcomed me, the way the nurses and doctors treated me was fantastic. All I can say is Royan hospital is home away from home . kudos
Good healthcare services, hospitality. Some doctors and receptionists are more polite and receptive than others though. Can be a bit pricy so best to be on HMO plan. In general, one of the best hospitals in Ojodu Berger and worth it.
Their service is so poor, a lab attendant tried to take my blood sample and she had to inject almost three places before she finally got it. From that time till now I can’t use my left hand , it’s been hurting so bad …..
