I'm a young female but with a good and general idea of vehicle parts and processes. Went to enquire about fixing or replacing my leaking radiator and if the company could fit me in and if I could get an approximate of the costs, at least if it would be more or less than $1000. Middle aged male worker (pretty sure it was the owner cos he acted like he was something special) was SO rude and SO degrading and disrespectful to me, spoke to me like I was a silly little child, and kept dumbing down everything he said as if I wasn't sophisticated enough to understand him. I simply stated "my coolant is leaking and just need my radiator checked", he opened my bonnet after clicking his tongue and muttering lazy rubbish under his breath about how he had no time, then told me "yeah I see the coolant is leaking but what do you want me to do here, it'll take me longer than just looking at it to diagnose it, what do you think this is, it's a car and it has many parts, I can't just diagnose it at the snap of your fingers", and kept repeating himself over and over and dumbing it down more and more - SO unnecessarily rude, I just asked him one question, he couldn't have told me he didn't know instead of giving me his speech full of attitude and disrespect . I have an Audi A4 2011 model, and he told me rubbish about how it would cost $1980 (not including labour of $180 an hour) cos of all the "extra detailed" things he does and how expensive his time was. He suggested it would take around 2 days to fix and that I would be paying him for all 19 business hours cos his "time is valuable". HA!!!! Thinking he's a lawyer or a doctor, asking for over $5000 for a RADIATOR REPAIR haha. Brought it to good year in jamisontown and they have offered to REPLACE the whole radiator (with official Audi parts) for 1050 including 2 hours of labour, which they've said is all the time it'll take them to get the job done and perfected. 5 year warranty on service and parts, free. And also received 10% off my next service and 10% off tyres purchased. NEVER go to oz and foreign, unless you want some old uneducated mechanic talking to you like you're the idiot. would rate it ZERO stars but didn't have that choice

I found this business on google while searching for a Audi mechanic. I contacted them and spoke to them about the problem of overheating, we talked for sometime. I took the car there on Wednesday August 19, explained the problem Steve they said they will go through Thursday morning check it. I needed to get back to Penrith station so they gave me a lift to where I was going appreciated that. Thursday morning i got a call from OZ & FOREIGN the guy explained the job needed and the time also gave me the costs he then said your driver's window regulatory was broken they opened the window as they do, i ssid it stopped working awhile back he gave me the costs of repairs for that to. I was asked when do i require the car back told them Friday was good. I received a call on Thursday afternoon telling me the car was ready and total costs. I collected the car Friday mid morning they showed me the damaged parts. My first experience using OZ & FOREIGN AUTOMOTIVE, is helpful, attentive, polite and a clean workplace. Over 2 days if driving the car and no overheating and the drivers window working well. Owning a German car is costly with age but to find someone who cares about their what they and how they do it is priceless. Thank you to the team at OZ & FOREIGN AUTOMOTIVE.

CAR: BMW E-chassis, N52 motor. Good customer service with nice phone etiqutte and basics. Not worth a dollar when it comes to European Cars in the context of the Aussie climate (not weather). Little technical know-how, but seem to know brands of oil, parts etc. I made clear my concerns on oil leaks around the rocker cover and white smoke from the rear tailpipe Basically said she'll be right and serviced the car with a lighter weight of oil (5W-30) which burns quicker in this climate (vs the previous 5W-40). Agreed the 5W-30 aligns with the manual, however the car operates in an Aussie climate, not German nor European. That's also a lighter weight of oil in the context of a vehicle with a slowly increasing sump leak, which was made clear. Later went to Eurowerke to remedy the leaking rocker cover, which ultimately got rid of the white smoke. Go to Eurowerke in Castle Hill is recommended, as a benchmark. Non-turbo BMW E chassis can be serviced from under $400 there (full check-up & oil service), with greater transparency, documentation, and straightforward communication. These guys charge near $600, for a sub par service relatively, an apathy towards solving the actual problem,and perceived know how coupled with nice etiquette.

As fate (a busted radiator expansion hose) would have it. I found Elias and the team last Friday afternoon. It's now the following Monday and my BMW M235i is back to it's former glory. Although my car is still covered by new car warranty and I could have had the repair done by dealer for free, The friendly service, sound advice and immaculate workshop were the reasons I elected to do the initial repair (as well as some additional preventative maintenance items) with the these guys. I would certainly reccomend Oz & Foreign to anyone requiring a trustworthy and professional team for your vehicle. Elias i'll see you in 10,000k"s

My Mercedes-Benz fell victim to the NRMA battery drama, My Merc reacted badly to the jumpstart and then the installation of the NRMA battery My local mechanic has left a lot to be desired I rang Oz and Foreign automotive and spoke with Steven first, Steve accepted my towed vehicle and communicated clearly and honestly throughout the assessment of damage The service has been outstanding, I can't recommend this business enough, My Merc thankfully was not damaged by the battery and a new battery installed updated all and my Merc is back up and running Bravo Steven and co,thankyou so much

Had them give me a quote for shaft replacement, They quoted me over 2k for it. Went to another mechanic for a quote they said $550. You do the math. Like everything when you’re going to spend money on, it pays to shop around. Now these guys might have their reasons (Covid, parts, labour, blah blah blah) Doesn’t justify the difference in prices, don’t care what these guys would say. You hear people getting ripped off by dodgy mechanics. My experience is another example. The owner can reply to this all he wants but it doesn’t change the quote. People want honest work with a honest price. That’s all.

Visiting for 20 years. Service has ever been great from the initial emergency visit as a heartbroken kid left in the lurch by OTHER mechanics with a busted headgasket and being able to drive away with a fully repaired 318i E21 all those years ago to the most recent (this very day) in a crappy Mazda2 with a spur of the moment rear right radial bearing disaster, the staff have never let me down and always above and beyond. Repairs guaranteed, reliable and affordable service - Very friendly staff. Would NOT go anywhere else — Top stuff guys thanks a bunch

Elias, Steve and the team always go above and beyond in servicing of my vehicles, but I was even more impressed with their diagnosis and repair skills recently. All work is explained clearly, with pricing more than fair, particularly for the level of work they provide. I would happily recommend them to anyone requiring a vehicle service or repair.

Elias went through the effort into brekaing down jargon into easy to understand concepts. It was very comforting to know that he didn't omit any details or skip over things to make sure i knew what was going wrong with my car. I would gladly take any mechanical problem to this workshop! They fix it right and take pride in their work.
