Unfortunately, my business accounts transferred to PNC after they acquired BBVA in late 2021. PNC customer service has been abysmal. First, the signature updates that were executed prior to the BBVA Investments acquisition was lost in the transfer and needed to be completed again. Secondly, I have simply been trying to get both the PNC Banking and PNC Investment accounts visible thru online banking after the BBVA Bank acquisition in October 2021 – months have passed and still no success. 1. First, the hotlines are consistently overwhelmed (wait times are consistently at least either as a result of not having made the appropriate staffing adjustments to account for the additional customers post acquisition and / or they were simply understaffed to start with. 2. Secondly, I’m not even sure why they have the customer service numbers since apparently only the branch representatives can help – and, unfortunately, regular promises of follow-up from the branch go unfulfilled. 3. Thirdly, I have been the Stassney and Manchaca branch several times to resolve this issue – each time I am assured that it will be taken care of and each time I have been disappointed. I’m fairly sure I’ll get a rote response like their normal one to the BBB “PNC takes our customers concerns very seriously. We will be working privately with our customer to resolve this matter.” 1. First, from my experience and the many comments of others, I see no evidence that PNC takes our customers concerns or even the customers themselves seriously at all. 2. Secondly, it will be interesting how long it will take to resolve this simple update.
I am new business owner and started banking here mainly because of the no fee business checking account. So far, that has been great. I was inspired to write a positive review today because I went in here VERY ANRGY and ready to close my account after I received insufficient fund charges when some mobile deposits took almost a week to be available. I've used mobile deposits with other banks and funds were always available immediately. The teller agreed to waive the fees as a courtesy & explained BBVA's mobile deposit policies. I do wish mobile deposit funds were available right away but really appreciate the bank's efforts to not screw me over because of a mistake.
Banking (as well as with most businesses right now during COVID) is a little more complicated. This branch isn't necessarily the closest to my place of work or home, but I happened to be in this area on a particular day, and Greg went above and beyond in customer service to help me with my account and daily spending limit in a personal emergency. It was a frustrating ordeal and he was very sensitive and understanding of my situation, with a very solution-focused attitude. He was able to fix my issue quickly and efficiently. Any issues I have in the future, I'll drive a little further for great customer service. Thank you!
Unacceptably bad. Tried to close out a line of credit that had never been used. Was told 3-5 business days... had to come in person to do it. Came in person, filled out the required paperwork. 5 days later after calling every day I am told there is another form they forgot about. I remind them this was a rush job, they said we could docusign. I docusigned. I called every day to inquire if it was done... 5 days later I am told that they can't accept docusign, but if I come in person to the bank they have the "correct" form. They don't understand their own processes.
Don't even feel like giving 1 star....Worst Banker experience at this location, I don't blame the bank but blame the banker lady who don't know her job and not professional at all, she lost my Signed Document and on top of that she leis that she never got it from me. I told them to look at the camera and find out and they can't do it … Never ever going back or recommend anyone ….
Sergio is the definition of what customer service in banking should be like. Went to a different PNC branch in Austin who seemed to be absolutely lazy when trying to get an account open due to the recent merger of PNC and BBVA. However Sergio didn’t allow the tough times to get to him, and got it done. PNC is already a fantastic bank, but Sergio is the icing on the cake.
I highly recommend BBVA Compass at Stassney Lane! The service is exceptional. The employees are attentive, patient, and understanding. Two credit unions and two banks failed to address my banking needs, but BBVA Compass delivered what I needed in less than 24 hours. BBVA Compass has gained a loyal customer for life!
I was told I didn't overdraft my account, then I get a noticed that said I over drafted my account four days earlier, from the day I asked. This is the third time this has happened to me. I recommend a Credit Union Bank.
Despite a few bumps in the road in opening a new account, the bankers took great care of me & got everything setup correctly. Since then my experience with PNC Bank has been solid & I am glad to bank Orange.
My favorite bank I have ever banked at, ever. My experience with Dee, one of the bankers, has been exceptional. Great advice, and really goes out of her way to provide personalized customer service.
Nice people, plus no one really banks here, so there is no wait. My only issue with Compass bank so far is that their online services are slow as molasses. Hopefully that will be my only issue.
Closing an account requires you to go in person, submit a letter, and it's still not done a week later. I'm told the reason is that we have to "process faxes"... It's 2022.
Worst service, and very slow
Great staff
