Got my hair done today Saturday by Yogeeta and let me tell you, she’s so much fun to talk to! She’s funny, sweet and did such a good job on my hair! It looks so much healthier and shiny now! Asked for 2 inches off and still had hair left! Lol She’s also considerate and respectful. She knows how to take care of hair and experienced bad haircuts herself which makes me feel like I’m in good hands. At first glance, the salon is a little hidden. Inside a hair salon on a Saturday, Pod is almost empty. The place is clean and staff are friendly. It’s a hit or miss for calling when booking the same day, but since I live close by, I walked in for a booking. I’m usually hesitant with new stylists cos I had bad experiences, and the staff are usually trying to sell me something, but because of Yogeeta, my anxiety is out the window. I’ll definitely come back for her and the toner treatment she suggested.

Ms. Nasim is an amazing and humble individual who provides exceptional service. She displays patience and passion in her work as a hairdresser. Ms. Nasim always takes her time to explain in detail what needs to be done, as well as makes sure that clients are happy with the service they receive. I always trust her professional judgment and expertise and let her decide what type of hair color and style best suits me. Every time I go to the salon, I am continuously satisfied with her work. It is an absolute pleasure to have met Ms. Nasim at the salon. I am grateful for the amazing experiences she offers. I would go to her for any hair services needed and would recommend her.

Having moved from Mississauga to Scarborough, I had trouble finding a hair stylist I could trust. But when I found out that Anna had moved from Fiorio Square One to POD, I was happy to know I could get a cut I’d be happy with. I have been going to see Anna for years before I moved; she takes the time to entertain all the different hair styles I want to try while giving a professional opinion on what would or wouldn’t work best. She’s always been friendly and bubbly and makes the experience enjoyable! And I learned that she can now offer colour services herself at POD! I love doing creative and fun colours to my hair so I can’t wait to come to POD for all my hair needs!

POD Hair Studio is like my second home. The entire staff there treat you like family regardless who you go to that day. I've been a client of Debbie's since 2009 but I also see Jessie from time to time. These two go over and above to always ensure i leave happy. Everyone is warm, friendly and an expert in what they do. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. As of late, with the COVID pandemic, they have ensured that they go over and above to maintain the safety and security of their clients. It's always a pleasure coming here and I never leave unsatisfied. POD offers you the full package...great hair, clean and sleek studio and above all, excellent customer service!

I have been going to POD Hair Studio to have AJ cut my hair for the past year. AJ has years of experience and his skills are top notch. AJ has great communication skills which is key for receiving a haircut and style curated for me (even if I am looking for something “simple”). He listens and understands my asks, answers my questions, and provides helpful insights. In addition, he is easy going and personable which adds to the whole experience. Last but not least, he is punctual. The studio is well lit, clean, and modern - overall inviting environment.

This place is gem for all ages! I've been going here for years and on occasion visit other salons for convenience, BUT I always find myself heading right back to the POD HAIR STUDIO because they simply cannot be beat. Their skill & extensive experience is unparalleled. I recently got a haircut along with my 9 year-old daughter and niece. AJ is down to earth and connects with all generations. He made the experience relaxing and fun for the girls; they were especially thrilled to have curls thrown in! Pricing is affordable and the work is just WOW!

I was looking into getting a trim and changing up my bangs prior to my sister’s wedding next month so once I heard that Anna was here at POD Hair Studio, I knew I had to come! Definitely not disappointed, the studio was nice and clean, bright and inviting! Anna was attentive, asking what I’d like to do today, discussed the length of the cuts and how to style the curtain bangs that I decided to get. Overall it was a wonderful experience for which I will be returning!

I called in and scheduled an appointment very easily, as the receptionist was very polite. I came in and met jessie, who was going to bleach my roots blonde! She is an amazing person and cared greatly about my hair. As it may tingle and burn to bleach/dye hair, it did not hurt rather I was happy with my end results. There was no yellow or orange, and I would recommend anyone to get their hair done by her. Great, clean place and very happy with my results!

So disappointed that out of all these positive reviews my experience turned out to be not so good. I went there for a basic trim and color. My hair color was already very dark brown and I just came to get an even shade of dark brown and get rid of the red undertones. After washing my hair twice and already my hair is back to how it was originally ( uneven with red undertones tones) and I paid $250 for this most useless visit to a hair salon.

I do not recommend Pod Hair Studio for hairstyling, specifically updos. I was very disappointed with my results!! It ruined my night. It didn't look anything like the picture I showed to the stylest. Even though I went to see the stylist a week before my appointment to get information on how to prepare my hair for the appointment.  She was highly recommended by the salon for bridal updos, however she could not deliver.

I had highlights and a cut done and the results were amazing. I could not have been more happier of how it turned it out. The colour came out exactly how it was recommended to suit my face and skin tone. I have been to several salons and had my hair done by a senior stylist and the outcome does not even compare. Staff at POD Hair Studio are friendly, efficient and they ultimately care about their client's hair.

Took my daughter there for a haircut today and we're very happy with the service. Online booking was simple. Debbie was very professional and even though it was done quite quickly, it was good quality service. My daughter loves her easy to manage hairstyle. We were also impressed that they checked temperatures prior to entry and usual mandatory hands sanitizer. Highly recommended. We're definitely coming back.

A few weeks late, but my daughter (2yo) and I both went it for a haircut by Lyndsay. I love my layered haircut!! And she did a great job with my active toddler...she wants to come again!! AJ handled our booking as I had a two week old and only had certain times that would work. They were so accommodating! Would recommend them for both adult and children's services.

Debbie is a true artist. I have been the POD Hair Studio for the past few years and every time Debbie works her magic on my hair. I always feel like a new person when I leave her salon. Just recently I did highlights\lowlights and it looks absolutely amazing. I have gotten so many compliments and I am so happy with it. The salon is clean and welcoming. Thank you!

I highly recommend Aj, he's an amazing hair stylist!! He's passionate about his work and he's also a perfectionist too. I've been coming to him for 9 years and I can honestly say he takes his time to perfect my hair cut and he makes sure I'm completely satisfied. I finally found a stylist that gives a good haircut, which is Anna! She used to work in Mississauga at Fiorio! It was a mission to see her there, since I lived in Markham, but I don't trust anyone else, she did such a good job with my hair that I followed her to pod studios! I loved every haircut she has given me and definitely going to stick with her!

Did not get the service I requested. My hair color is not what I asked for. I wanted purple hair and it looks the same and I was charged $360 for nothing!! Anna bleached my hair for what reason because it doesn't look any different and now it's dry and damaged. I paid so much I should have been compensated since I am not a happy customer.

This salon is awesome, everyone here is extremely experienced and are fun to be around. The cozy space is located right off the highway which makes it hassle free when dropping in for your appointment. AJ, Jessie and Debbie are all great and take the time to find out exactly what you want, you can't go wrong with either one.

AJ, Pod Hair Studio's head stylist has cut my hair for over 15 years now. He is phenomenal and can cut any style of hair for both men and women. She was attentive and extremely patient while I explained what I was looking for and matched my expectations beautifully. They do a good job cutting hair but they have some issues with water pressure/water heat for hair washing. So the hair cut was great, the hair wash was sometimes cold.
