On 7-19-23, I pumped gas and came to the car wash. I bought the best wash you had it, and they gave me a token for the vacuums. I had to get change to vacuum the rest of my car and I deposited another $1.75 at Vacuum #2. The suction was so poor at this station that is barely vacuumed anything in my car. I went back to Lupe, who was very nice to me and gave me excellent service. He told me that I had to go talk to the manager Gino, who was spraying down the cars. I pulled into the handicapped space next to where Gino was spraying down the cars before they went into the car wash. I asked to speak to him, but he was very busy so I waited about 10 minutes in my car. I also had a sprained ankle so it’s very hard for me to get in and out of the car. I had to be somewhere else and drive down to Orange County so I didn’t have a lot of time to wait. But Gino just kept ignoring me and kept spraying down the cars. When I tried to tell him about what happened, he said he was too busy to do anything for me. I have never had such poor customer service before from a manager. He does not deserve to be a manager and a poor acting one at that. I was a customer, and I did not deserve to be treated that way. I asked for my money back and told him what was wrong with Vacuum #2. I told him he was a jerk for treating me that way. Gino yelled at me and was nasty with his words and sarcastic, telling me have a nice day. I left and then I went to talk to Lupe and he gave me a token and told me to go to vacuum #12 and that it worked better. He was very helpful, kind, and professional. Lupe gave me excellent customer service. But Gino did not, and he was the manager. Gino was rude and unprofessional. If you continue to employ him, who knows what he will do to other customers. I have been at your car wash before and have not encountered these problems. I hope that you take this issue seriously and do some thing about it before it turns into something really bad.

Went here a few weeks ago to get my car cleaned. I asked attendant is they had a Military Discount. He said they did every Monday. I came by here today, a Monday,to get my truck cleaned. Asked again if they had a Military Discount to be sure. The attendant said yes. I showed him my ID...I am a retired Marine. He said you have to be in uniform. I said that is not what I was previously told and that I had purposely driven out of my way to come back and on a Monday. I asked him if he he was going to Honor what I was previously told. He said no. As I was backing out, I had thought about the fact that they don't have a legit Discount in that Marines don't wear their Cammie Uniform out in town, and no one is going to drive through a car was with their Blues or any other dress uniform on. It's sad that a place of business says they has a discount when they don't. I will not be taking any of my vehicles here again. The first wash I received on my car was only ok, but with the Discount, I could have overlooked a couple things. But not at full price, especially when I was both lied to, and then the place of business would not stand behind their word... attendant or not, he represents their business and $2-3 Discount would not have bankrupt them, but could have kept me coming back. I have been using Pacific Beach car wash for many many years as well as the Shell gas station that it is a part of. Now that I no longer need the gas I still go here for the carwash. It is a quick drive through car wash that uses blowers and a big curtain of Chamois to dry your vehicle after your choice of a regular Plus premium or Ultra Deluxe car wash. The Prices range from about 8 to 20 bucks but the feature I use is the car wash Club. For as little as $20 per month for the regular wash you can get unlimited washes each month. They also have an array of vacuums to use 4 coins but included with your car wash club. I must add that I have put all kinds of vehicles successfully through this car wash with no negative effects always a nice clean wash and that the staff is generally very friendly and helpful so it's really a good place to go.

It’s okay. I get Premium for $10 (second from top tier service) each time I come. My car enters fairly dirty (dirt from two weeks on a white car in fair commute traffic, and whatever the weather may bring). I figure my car should leave clean with no dirt, however I find I always end up scrubbing off the tougher spots with my own towel afterwards. The dryer NEVER EVER actually dry my car, rather just spread around the water that it put on. Again, using my own towel to actually dry my car. The reason I come back is for the vacuums. Until I find better vacuums close by, or vacuums at a lower cost for the time (FREE for 6 minutes with service or $2 for 6 minutes without service) I’ll use these.

Went there to get a car detailed based on clearly posted prices on website (Complete detail - $189). Made the appt to go in and was told that there would be an extra $40 surcharge for it being a SUV (totally fair) and an extra $65 surcharge for it being really dirty (a little less fair, but ok). Finally, I was told that the total price of $294 was only for the basic detail and did not include the buffer, the clay treatment, or the wheels. When they overheard me discussing the additional costs on the phone with someone else, they offered to match the price on their own website if I had proof, but who wants to do business with a company who lacks integrity? Not me.

This review is specifically for Tony's detailing service. What a great find! Tony could not have been friendlier, more courteous or more professional. He left my car looking amazing and I could not recommend him enough! To be clear, the car wash is located within the Shell gas station (cheap gas there, btw). You'll see the gas station, then the car wash. Tony is located on the side of the property opposite the gas pumps. If you come in closer to the pumps, it's difficult to see Tony's spot as the large auto carwash is in the way... Just drive around it to find Tony on the other side.

Product is very good. Monthly membership is reasonable and the line goes very quickly. Disappointed in the management though. Been going there for 6years and manager didn’t care that the car wash was randomly closed for the better part of a week. Asked for one free wash to give a friend because I had to purchase car washes elsewhere and was still paying on my monthly membership while the wash was down. Manager pretended he couldn’t do anything. Good car wash, lousy service that is almost customary for pacific beach.

Got the interior/exterior detailing service and Tony did a really great job. Got all the dog hair out of the back seat and made my front console/cupholders look good as new. I loved that he communicates over text and was able to text me when my car was finished. Overall a very convenient experience and my car looked great. Will definitely be coming back!

Went in to get my car detailed and I drove 20 minutes out because of the reviews. When i got there they said the guy should be in the back so I waited and he never showed. Not only did he call in sick but they just had me waiting until I asked. Not his fault that his sick but somebody should’ve told me instead of just having me wait for a no-show

I wasn't sure if this was full service or not but they had the cool old school machine that pulls your car through to wash it. They did power wash it a bit before you went in the machine and if you get the Deluxe wash they give you a token to vacuum out your car. It was $14 fun to do and supposedly came with wax and spot free rinsr etc.

Tony is the best. I’ve never been so compelled to leave a review before. He offers the best full car wash service. Feels brand new every time for like $40. One time he even deep cleaned my car seats at no extra cost. He’s such a positive, hardworking and accomodating guy. Worth it every time.

All the other car washes were closed due to rain, so I ended up with 20 minutes to get all the dog hair out of my car before I had to pick up my vice president at the airport. Tony was amazing. Fast, efficient, and most importantly, clean. I’m now a loyal customer to Pacific Beach car wash!!

Just left the car wash and noticed 3 large new scratches as a result of their equipment. I ordered the most expensive extreme wash and my car is not only still dirty but now scratched resulting in lost value. Very disappointed. Photos attached as proof. be careful at this place!

These guys are awesome! I live in OB and come here for my car wash. Quick, cheap and great job. But all of that could be mediocre and I would still make the trip. The customer service is great EVERY TIME. They are professional, polite, and courteous. Thank you!

Standard gas station car wash. Nothing special. Back hatch and wheels still show dirt after the wash. No interior cleaners. Do-it-yourself vacuuming included (token provided when you pay for wash) but doesn't last long enough to get to all carpets, mats, etc.

I believe there are 4 levels of car washes. I got the second cheapest from the bottom and it did a great job. Plus they give you a free token to vacuum your car. Vacuum was strong and I believe the timer shows you get it for about 4 minutes.

They just replaced some equipment making it more truck friendly for 1500's to 3500's. No DRW though, they won't fit on the guides. Does a decent job at getting your vehicle clean. Best deal around with the car wash club.

Purchased an extreme car wash. The machines shut off half way through. So I go back around to tell them and they tell me to get back into line. 10 cars deep. When I get back in, they only do a regular wash. What a joke!

I have been going to this car wash for a while and the last time I went I noticed scratched on both sides of the top of my car from this car wash. If you care about scratches on your car don’t use this car wash.

This place Needs a machine or hand car dryer. Your car exits dripping wet and the water will leave spots unless you get out and dry it yourself. Every other Car Wash now automatically comes with a dryer.

Tony did such a great job with detailing a washing my car at such a great price to! I had work at 2 got out by 1:45 was only there for abt 35ish minutes and didnt miss a spot. I will be coming back!!

It's a drive thru car wash... usually no line...if something doesn't come off, they'll let you through again. If you have something you want them to spot clean, let em know!
