"Such a pretty building, it changes the way it looks in different lighting conditions"
Nice architecture design of the building with the symmetry. There is a cactus garden near the entrance of the building which has lots of different types of cactus such as the golden barrel cactus. There is a small palm tree in the centre of the building which wasn’t very big when I went to see it. Off to one side of the building, there is a small fountain with some small plants in it. When I went, I found that it gets very hot in there.
Well maintained formal garden that represents Cactus and Succulent plants outside. Inside the beautiful Edwardian Glass House is a Madagascar themed collection. By far the best kept Edwardian Glass House that I have seen, on paar with the Kew Gardens Glass House but on a much smaller scale and only representative of one climatic zone. It is really great for photos in the mornings and afternoons.

Beautiful, even in winter. Looking at all of the plants growing is fun, but the glasshouse itself honestly felt like the main attraction to me. Stunning architecture!

Nice and well maintained building. I didn't like the water feature tho. (When I visited it was out of order, so it was looking creepy)
Beautifully restored cactus house - not quite as beautiful as the one in the belfast botanic gardens but pretty close!
A magnificent structure - built in the 19th century and fully restored. Only one of its kind in the world. Love it!
An extremely rare building, the only 1 left in the southern hemisphere. And in it, rare plants from Madagascar.
Was inside as a rookie uni student & witnessed its beauty as the Heather during the Light Cycle show 2022
Beautiful!

nice but my pram cannot go in into the palm house because there’s only a stair to enter it.
Collection of plants from Madagascar. So different and interesting.
It's hot in here - great during winter but terrible during summer.
