Ahhh, the unbridled relief of finding “The Right Pharmacy.” Local, Small Businesses should always be your first choice. If you’re a patient who regularly sees a doctor, you know that their treatment expertise doesn’t mean anything once they’ve written the script. I was there yesterday and one of their Pharmacists, Jennifer, was walking an unhappy customer on the phone through her allergies, explaining an antibiotic risk. My first draft of this last week contained, “Sure, if it’s an antibiotic, go to Publix.” I’ve been there. For antibiotics. They never asked me about potential allergies. Jennifer even cited “Coconuts” on her call. That was after her one day off. Brandon was the initial impetus for my rating of them. Finding one “Five Star” worthy Pharmacist is hard enough, but two? That’s just their standard of exceptional personal care. Clearly, they do not view their patrons as patients, but as individual people. Common sense, not just “Show me your Drivers License (every time), herd animal, the tag on your ear could have been altered.” Because you don’t already feel like you’re nothing but your diagnosis sometimes. I fled an unnamed Pharmacy on Davis Islands because of multiple mistakes and deeply unethical patient care after many years of watching their near vertical decline. It made me nervous to pull the trigger. They used to be the best Pharmacy in Tampa, bar none. They even sent me flowers when I lost people. It’s been several months since I divinely discovered Palma Ceia, and they instill more confidence and caring than their predecessor ever did. I take some dangerous classes of medication and had my wife, an RN, not caught past mistakes, myself and her Grandmother probably would not be here. I have no doubt that Palma Ceia will keep me where I need to be, with my family, and loving working in my Hometown!

Needless to say, we were more than thrilled when we arrived at this Health Mart Pharmacy after doing a google search and this being one of our choices. We were so warmly greeted by Brad who was so eager to welcome and assist us with filling my husband's rx. We are from Alabama and, of course, it was not time to fill a couple prescriptions of his before we left for Tampa. Brad, however, made it all so easy by calling our home pharmacy and quickly getting the meds ready. So friendly and he visited with us like we were new folks to the neighborhood....not just people visiting for a few weeks!! Then, we met Patti and she was just as friendly and helpful. This is an awesome pharmacy and locals should not hesitate to make it their home pharmacy! We were in and out in a flash!! Be sure and make a visit to this mart soon!
I am so happy that I found this gem. I was so sick and tired of being treated with apathy and no customer care at the big box pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens. One Day Walgreens did not have a medication in stock and my doctor called Palma Ceia health Mart and they filled it. I have been going there since. Brad is the nicest most compassionate and caring pharmacist I’ve ever come across. It is great to walk into a pharmacy and have a conversation with the pharmacist and a personal relationship. If you are like me and fed up with the big boys, look no further than Palma Ceia Health Mart. Promise you will not be disappointed
If you think CVS and Walgreen's Pharmacy provide service.....wait until you try Palma Ceia Healthmart. Brad and his team are just incredible! They are fast, fair, honest, inexpensive and incredibly accommodating. Moving to Palma Ceia was one of the best decision's I have ever made, in regards to my healthcare. No more getting the run around and waiting for hours at Walgreens!
This is the kind of pharmacy you wish you could always go to, instead of the stressed-out folks at the major chains. The owner/mgr and staff are actually invested in wellness, their own and others. Love this place. (Plus it's not an overwhelming array of Everything-Under-the-Sun 500,000 products like the major chains..). They're co-located with my primary care providers (--:)
Owner/Operator Pharmacy. The Dr. here just spent at least an hour of his time to get my $850 dollar perscription down to $45. Coordinated with my primary care Dr to choose a more cost effective equivalent and pulled manufacturer coupons to put it all together. You won't ever get that kind of care at a Walgreens and for that, I will always come here for my pharmacy needs!
Brad and staff are always friendly and happy to help. They have my prescriptions ready monthly without me even having to ask. When my insurance changed Krista and Brad found me a manufacturer coupon so that I could continue on my medication at an affordable price. I do use it, but they also have FREE delivery, which is unheard of these days. 10/10 would recommend.
My husband and I have been going to Palma Ceia Health Mart for a few years now and the service is excellent. After years of going to the large drugstores and always leaving angry and frustrated by the customer service, Palma Ceia Health Mart is a breath of fresh air. Brad is proactive and always helpful. I can't recommend Palma Ceia Health Mart enough!
My family has been going to Palma Ceia Pharmacy for years now and could not imagine going anywhere else. Brad and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Always there to provide advise/opinions for you to make the best decision for you and your family and I couldn't thank them more for it!
The owner Greg is a walking example of why small businesses like his is your best bet. Customer service blows away any pharmacy I've ever heard of. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for them to fill a prescription and they were busy that day. Great people. Highly recommended.
I used to work near it and no longer do but will drive out of my way. They are always quick and professional. They don't treat me any different based on the persicripton I'm picked up. They have been very awesome over the past few years.
I miss this place, I moved away and have to go to CVS near me, where they mess up my order every single time and are never willing to call the doctor, make recommendations or be understandable. I wish every pharmacy was like this one.
Brad and the rest of the staff are amazing! You can not get the type of service from a large chain that Palma Ceia provides. Brad knows everyone by name and is always able to answer any questions you might have about your medication.
They fill prescriptions immediately! Feels like old time friendly neighborhood drugstore where they remember you, and will even deliver. Great new coffee bar. Only downside is limited weekend hours, but just remember and plan ahead.
I was a fan until this pharmacy decided to get political. Brad has stopped offering COVID vaccines. A pharmacist who chooses politics over science - that's not where I want to get my health advice.
Brad runs his pharmacy the way local businesses are intended to run. Professional, personal and customer centric. I hope to never have to set foot in a chain pharmacy again.
Brad is great! Your prescription will be filled in no time and he's super nice. Plus, you can get really good coffee while you wait at the coffee bar.
Friendly, very professional, and knows your name. Staff is trustworthy and everyone says hello. 100% accuracy! Love Brad's old and new family photos.
Brad, Jen and the whole team are amazing. Everyone goes the extra mile to help me and all the tenants at the Bayshore Presbytarian building.
