i was in the area for a wedding . somehow i dropped my key fob in the grate of the garbage can outside and it was impossible to reach. i was running late and all dressed up and stressing on how i was gonna retrieve my car fob. I seen the home hardware luckily next to my parked vehicle and I went in and asked the gentleman if they had wire or stick to fish it out. Not only did he offer to help me he actually figured a way to get it out for me. I was not even shopping there but he helped me anyway ! Good people still exist . Thank you to the Gentleman at parkdale Home Hardware for making my evening less stressful!

Henry and the gang working here are fantastic people. Everybody is willing to help you and answer your questions. The store is very well stocked and if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask. You can get some good advice here if you need it. This store has been here for ages and is connected to the heart of Parkdale. This Home Hardware has value added services like repairing window screens, lock keying etc. Its a real Toronto gem.

Staff is awesome. They pretty much have every thing for small projects and big ones. A true Canadian hardware store. Plus it is close to where I live saving me $40+ in transit/cab fares which far out ways the slightly the the big box savings. Again the peoples that work there are intelligent, great knowlage of all products. When in Parkdale it is the Hardware store to go to.

As a resident of Parkdale, I am not sure how we would survive without this neighbourhood standout. The most friendly staff. It's my go to for all my BBQ needs, home DIY projects and for the longest time, Hot Wheels for the kids. Every pocket of Toronto should be as lucky to have an establishment like this.

Best home hardware in the city!!! I've had bad luck at a lot of other location but these staff go above and beyond! Vert caring and knowledgeable staff. They were able to order me the specific piece I needed and was finally able to complete a home reno project! Thanks again for everything!

They're very helpful at this location. Be ready for them to ask you at least two times while you're walking through the store if you're ok or need assistance. It helped me navigate throughout the store easier as it is kind of cramped and also pretty busy during the day.

The staff are really rude and unfriendly. Went in yesterday, ask a question and got a shrug in response, the employee couldn't even be bothered to actually talk. I guess they don't need my money. Fine by me.

Knowledgeable , friendly staff in this great local business. Home hardware is a well established chain but this location feels like a true local community business.
