"I’ve been bringing my Persian Cat for bath and tidy for a couple of years now"
I have been here a couple of times for my dogs grooming. My first few sessions with a groomer called nan was amazing and I was very happy with the grooms. However, the last 2 sessions that I had were beyond terrible. Firstly, they had double booked me and informed me that I would have to change the time which was fine as I was available that whole day. I arrived at the shop and was put in a waiting room where the groomer (didn’t get her name but was different to the usual groomer) asked if I would like the cut to be the same as the previous ones. I agreed. When I came to pick my dog up, they had left the face uncut and kept the hairband to tie his hair up which is not how I would’ve preferred it. I understand that maybe I should’ve told them that I would like them to cut his face and topknot off but I assumed they would as they asked if I wanted the same cut as previous ones. Thus, after some consideration, I emailed them about the unsatisfactory appointment and apologised that maybe I wasn’t clear when speaking to the groomer about the cut I wanted. They understood my concerns and booked me in for the next week. I called them a day before to ask how much this appointment would be to cut off the top knot in which the receptionist was not sure so was told they would call me back. However, no one called me back so I called on the day and they told me that it is booked in as a ‘bath and tidy’ which would cost £45. That is absolutely ridiculous for just a 10 minute trim and i did not want another bath for my dog so I rejected their offer and decided to leave his hair until the next groom. I decided to go again as I really liked the other grooms and thought this may be a one-off, which was a bad idea that has resulted in traumatising my dog. Thus I booked my dog for another groom and called them to ask if I could request nan to groom my dog but they informed me that she doesn’t work here anymore but have a new groomer. I was happy to give it a try. On arrival, I told Giulia (groomer) how I would like my dog to be cut and showed her some pictures she agreed and said ok. I informed her that he is sensitive around the paws and back legs area but is not an aggressive dog at all. My partner went to pick the dog up and he was informed that our dog was muzzled and his back legs are sensitive. She also added that he would have to be muzzled from now on with no explanation on why? On top of this, the cut was awful because it looked like she had just shaved him down. She left under his front arm unshaved so the cut was very uneven. She also mentioned that “his fur just came off” which makes no sense as I am aware that clippers are used with guards so we don’t understand how this happened. From our perspective, it seems like she was too lazy to deal with a nervous dog so had decided to take the easy route and shave him down. Also left the ears completely uncut so I had to do this myself to avoid another £45 for a “wash and tidy”. Lastly, when paying for the groom they charged us £40 on top of the £20 deposit when we usually pay £50 in total so they never informed us on the price increase either. I would not recommend their grooming services as it looks like they don’t treat the dogs well and find ways to groom dogs as quickly as possible by shaving them down, especially for anxious and scared dogs. My dog is now traumatised ever since that grooming appointment, He is now very sensitive around his paws so once I turn the clippers on he immediately panics, cries and runs away. I have now moved to another groomer and they agreed that his paws are sensitive but he did not need to be muzzled as he is not aggressive.
I would give them O stars for the grooming if I could. Today I had an appointment for my dog at 2pm for his grooming. The groomer didn't take him till 20 minutes later. They should have told us that they are running late. Even when I came for my dog's vet appointment - his check up, they had made us wait sixteen minutes then too. Maybe they should tell their customers that they are running late. As people have other appointments to go too. Anyway we gave in our dog and left the groomers. 24 minutes later, at 2:44pm we got a call from the groomers at Paws. She was very rude and aggressive on the phone telling us that she has just over an hour to do his groom. Our dog's legs and his tummy was matted but the rest of him wasn't. She wanted to shave him completely but we said no, just do the paws and the tummy. I told her to wait on the line for a couple of seconds while I spoke over it with my sister but she hung up the phone. Luckily we were in the area. We went back and she wanted to shave our dog completely by using a clipper and then a blade. We asked for a reference picture of what she wanted to do and she couldn't even find one. Again she mentioned the time and she wanted to rush us even though she was the one that was running late. She finally managed to get a reference picture on her phone showing us a reference picture of the groom she was going to do on our dog. And the picture was so bad. It was of a Maltese dog (like our dog) where she had shaved the dog so much that you could actually see the pink of his skin. And she wanted to do the same to our dog! She herself admitted in her own words "that the owner got so mad at her". Who wouldn't? She had cut the dog's fur so much that only the bare skin was seen. I have had my dog shaved before but there is always fur covering his body. She said his tail, bum, tummy and legs were all matted. She said it is up to us. Either we leave or get him shaved completely to his skin. She had an attitude. I asked for our £20 pounds deposit back. No they said. We left the groomers at 2:54. Our appointment was at 2pm. 44 minutes and she hadn't even started the groom. How can you be that unprofessional? We had work to do in the Broadway and an appointment to attend to which we had to cancel. We lost our £20 deposit and we had to pay for 2 hours car parking. Really unprofessional and rude service. For the deposit she should have handed it back or advised us what we could get done in the £20. Maybe a facial or something else but nothing. Since we were still in the Broadway, we took him immediately to another dog groomer for a second opinion. She told us that our dog's fur would be short but not shaved and that only his legs and tummy were matted. And that there was no need to shave his tail or face as the groomer at Paws was suggesting. Overall, the time and energy it took us to get there wasn't worth it. I just felt that the groomer should have respected our time and been more supportive instead of being so rude. Also, there was no appreciation for the customer. I will go here again for the vet. Lets hope they don't make us wait again. I'm really unhappy with their service. They wasted our time completely. Unprofessional, unkind and rude. I would not recommend taking your dog here for grooming.
Terrible communication. Terrible Service. Bring the old team back. I scheduled my cat to be groomed here. I used them last year and they were truly amazing, loved working with them so I used them again. Seems they have replaced the entire team and the service is a polar opposite to what I experienced last year. They are not clear on what is required by the owner or the costs. We seem to find out something new everytime we speak with them (with costs slowly rising each time). When we finally had everything sorted (or so we thought) and went to get our cat groomed.. they suddenly said, on the day, that during the previous consultation they realised the cat needed an updated vaccination prior to the groom. They did not communicate this to us ONCE - I even called them a day before to make sure they will have everything they need for the groom. They said they would not cover every single possibility hence this was never mentioned... this is ridiculous, if they discovered that the cat needs an updated vaccination during the consultation, surely this is clearly required and should be communicated! They're fallback to this was "well it was on the email..." Lets talk about the email. It states "we do not groom unvaccinated pets". Our cat is vaccinated, however what they really meant was, the cat needs to be vaccinated within the past month and proof is required of the vaccination prior to the groom (only communicated to us on the day). Here's a free tip for you guys (no charge), change this to "We do not groom pets that have not been vaccinated within the past month. Proof of vaccination is required". They then went on to say that we need to bring the cat back the following week to get it vaccinated. Wait another week. Then bring the cat back again for the groom. Suddenly communication is now clear. Just wish this was communicated prior to us making the unnecessary trip. Oh, and they kept our deposit. Ultimately, I got the feeling that this 'new team' is not so keen on continuing the great customer service that was delivered by the previous team. Pay a little extra for a better service. Avoid these guys.
I wanted to share the experience of making an appointment. It was my first time trying to reserve a grooming session with them. I called the phone number but they asked me to registered my details online first. So I used the enquiry form and give away all my contact details and my dog’s info. They replied me a word file asking me to fill in all the details again…. I sent them back the word file and asked for availabilities but then they replied that I have to make a phone call or come in person to make a booking and pay down a deposit first. The experience was so hectic with so many back and forwards. I came to branch myself and paid 60£ deposit for 2 full groom and 1 groom & tidy. I asked the Lady at the counter do groom and tidy comes with nail trimming she said yes. (They charged my 7kg puppy 54£ for groom&tidy and 60£ for a full groom.) At the day when I brought my dog to the groom and tidy session, the groomer said nail trimming isn’t included and it needs additional 25£…. Wow I don’t know that and that’s different from what I heard. If that’s the case I would have bathe my dog myself…. The groomer asked me to sign a T&C form without explaining the details. I looked through the final lines and realized they have late pickup fee which means I have to come back to pick her up timely in an hour or else they’ll charge me additionally. Why didn’t you explain it to me earlier or let me know in advance so that I could have planned my time more wisely. I have to cancel my 75min yoga session at the Triyoga nearby All this could have been just little flaws but as they piled up they made me question if I have to continue to bring my dog here for a groom as it’s quite expensive. (My previous groomer charged 65£ for full groom including nail trimming, pick-up and drop-off). But I moved to this area recently so that I’m struggling to find a new groomer. I thought the whole branch looks pretty fancy and expected it to be pricier. But the communication could have been better.
I’ve been bringing my Persian Cat for bath and tidy for a couple of years now. The service is generally ok but sometimes not great. I have a number of suggestions that could make the services provided so much better: 1. There is inconsistency in the price for the same job. And the prices seems to be going up every 3 months. I used to pay £60 for bath and tidy. My cat coat is usually well kept and very rarely need a matt to be removed using a shaver. 6 months ago I was charged £100 for bath and tidy because the receptionist said they had to remove a couple of small matts. 3 months ago I paid £80 for the same service and they had to remove one matted area that couldn’t be brushed. I think they overcharged me previously. They agree one price on the phone and end up charging something else. 2. They don’t always use experienced groomers for cats (I don’t know about dogs). A few months ago I booked my Persian cat 2 weeks in advance for bath and tidy. At the time of appointment the groomer said she has no experience with cats and I was expecting them to allocate an experienced groomer for my appointment. The groomer ended up cutting my cats leg and the wound had to be treated and glued together !!!! When I asked why they let this happen and why the groomer didn’t ask for help or why an experienced groomer wasn’t used they had no answer for me. I wasn’t also offered any compensation! All they said was to take my cat to the Greenford branch next time as they have an experienced groomer there. 3. The quality of bath and tidy is never great! I always (in every occasion in the past two years) have found areas where it wasn’t properly brushed when I got home. Also they don’t do deshedding at all so my cat comes home with ALOT of loose hair which I have to brush out of her right after her grooming session.
We visited today for the first time. After few emails back and forth yesterday an appointment for today was arranged. Everyone was lovely and welcoming, very patient with my skiddish pet and just in general the atmosphere was fine. We saw the vet, again anothe lovely lady who was again very gentle and kind with us. All when well. However, what I don't appreciate is not knowing what I'm paying for. As the vet and I discussed what should be done for my pet I had to ask for the price for every single thing instead of being giving it outright. And just in general while I know vets can give out prescriptions I wasn't given the option to have that instead of using their own dispenserie. And the mark up price was between a over 100% to almost 400%, so I ended spending about a double of what I imagine today would be. Then at reception I asked for a price list and I was told they don't have one, that just furder made it a mistery what would cost what I the future. When I was offer a receipt I thought I'd get an itemized bill, but now just the card machine one. The whole experience just felt like I was in an American hospital and I may or may not get bankrupt if my pet gets real sick and I don't have an insurance but I won't find out untill it's too late. Especially in the current climate I find this to be of incredibly poor taste, and just not a great way to run a business. Edit: I did receive an email with an invoice, unsure if it was before or after this review.
My dog started limping on the bank holiday and after paying ££££ for an emergency vet that spent about 10 minutes assessing my dog, giving pain killers and then recommend I get an X-ray (as this was not included!) I then started calling around for costs as some vets quoted me £700 for a hip x-ray (both right and left) and others around £450. I panicked at the time as it out of my price range (because of the £££££ emergency vet fee's). I then found 'Paws In The City' veterinary clinic who really listened to my limitations and offered a reasonable solution and price that did not get me in to more debt. I felt the vet was very honest, he was not trying to charge me unnecessarily, he listened to what we had to say and also responded well to our own research and questions. The receptionists were consistently polite and also very understanding. I do not think they were at all trying to charge me unfair prices and if anything they tried to save me money. The vet's name was Salvatore and the receptionist Gracie. Far too many other vets I called that were unsympathetic, offered no alternatives or solutions and merely wanted ££££££. Thank you Paws In The City for treating your customers like a person rather than a number. The X-ray was done well (yes there is such a thing as a bad x-ray). So thank you for your professionalism.
Thank you to Nurse Caitlin and Nurse Bethany for another excellent visit to Paws in the City (claw clipping and dental advice). They handled my shouty little cat with great care and affection, and I'm so grateful as always. **** Update: I continue to be very happy with the care my little Cornish Rex cat receives at the Ealing branch. Before our appointment, Dr. Jaime kindly took the time to sit down and check in about his health in the waiting area, even though he wasn’t consulting that day. Nurse Bethany has the magic cat touch with scrambly and opinionated little critters like mine, which is especially welcome (and necessary!) during claw clippings. The vet we saw today, Dr. Emiliya, is wonderful and has treated my cat intermittently for nearly two years. As always, I’m so grateful for her compassion, expertise, thoughtfulness, kindness, and patience with him – and also with his owner’s many questions! Thank you >^..^< ****** Love Paws in the City! During every visit, my little cat has received excellent care on both the medical and grooming sides. The whole team - vets, practice manager, nurses, and groomers - go above and beyond to make pets and their humans feel comfortable and reassured. Thank you for the always compassionate, knowledgeable, and patient animal care and advice.
I an not happy the way the lady presented me the news my old cat started having a kidney disease..I was a sure there is nothing cure for it just I can put my cat on the special diet. But my cat also developed food allergy so they said I should prioritise it. So I was devastated that she will probably die soon! Then I had a research myself and it says this is a common in cats and also my cat is 17years old but they can live a long years with it but the vet did not told me that. Another thing was they tried extra tests which I didn't really need it,i said I can't afford it,so the vet asked when can I in a month time?? What question is that? No i can't afford at anytime,I adopted the cat without the knowledge how expensive is to have a pet in UK!it's ridiculous. It's a luxury! Luckily this is the first time I need it the help. I feel like there is a huge business here in the UK for animals and I spoke to few people they feel the same way vet trying to make as much money they can out of your pet. My cat is doing well, after I researched it all myself, vet did not replay much about it also not at all when I asked to break me down the blood result in writing.
I have had only positive experiences with Paws In The City. My previous vet was in central London, and Paws In The City is much more affordable than them, so that’s nice. It can also be very difficult to find a groomer for my large, unruly dog. She is quite naughty and not easy to trim, so other groomers in the past have refused to take her back after the first groom. Paws In The City has never refused to groom my dog, and they are actually quite a bit more affordable than the other groomers I have used. Paws In The City also has fantastic customer service and really make an effort to get to know their clients. I have also found them to be very available. They are open until 7pm during the week, and they are open on Saturday as well, which is nice for people who work during the day. I have also struggled to get my dog into other vets within a reasonable timeframe. Whenever I call Paws In The City asking for an appointment, they seem to always have availability that same day, or the next day.
We took our cat to this vet after he had a bad fight with another cat and his eye was damaged. Doctor look at his eye and said that it’s nothing to be worry about as scratch is not deep. She prescribed some medication to use and bring him back after a week for check up. We use all medication but his eye was getting worse. After one week we took him back and vets offered to remove his eye!!! We where in shock!! Obviously we refused to do that and took him to Queen Mother animal hospital. In there they did special operation and managed to save his eye. We still going through recovery but he is much better now and he has his eye. If they would send us straight away to that hospital it could be a better results. So I can’t say that doctors in this clinic knows what they doing for sure. The vet surgery is nice, very good reception people who helped me to get emergency appointment. And it’s very clean. But I’m not be able to trust they vets anymore.
I couldn’t get fitted in at X-rays for my dog with suspected broken hip or spinal problem (another vets had told me but couldn’t fit me in for X-rays) I spoke to Shauna who fitted me in amazing customer service really cared about my dog. I then got booked in next day with vet Emilia who examined my dog and said that It didn’t few broken or dislocated or spinal (I had seen 3 other vets at different practised that couldn’t tell me this) I still went ahead with X-rays to make sure it wasn’t anything else. She called me and said everything looks good and he just in pain so to rest and give him pain meds. I love how confident she wants when examining my dog she has years of knowledge and it shows. They also very competitive prices meaning it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. THANKYOU TO ALL THE TEAM FOR LOOKING AFTER MY POOCH! putting my mind at rest. He back to himself now :)
Been involved with animals, mainly cats, for over 20 years and in the course, have used two Vet centres in Ealing. Had an emergency with one of my cats in late September and contacted the centre where the cat is registered with but would not see the cat, fully booked as usual was the reason, and told me to search around for other Vet centres. I spoke with few local Vet centres but none was able to help until Paws in The City who made the effort to see my cat the very same day which I am thankful. This is one Vet centre that I would confidently say, share compassion for animals and made an effort to accommodate my cat, who sadly had to be put down and helped in organising the cremation. Since this incident, my family and I have decided to leave our current Vet centre and register all our seven cats with Paws in The City, Ealing. Thank you Paws in The City Ealing.
Gave two stars as initially it seemed ok with cheap prices compared to other practices. In fact I do think this is their main selling point cheap price and unfortunately in my case it meant cheap service as well!!. Story short they forgot to give me the result of my poorly Cat and called me two months later pretending they cared when actually they just wanted the payment--well was a bit of a joke- when I said I didn’t even receive any results after my numerous follow up calls, they put a random ‘vet’ on the line who started to pretend to actually care.. let’s be positive at least the cat is still alive thanks to Village Vet Ealing, who might charge a bit more but I get the follow up and care my cat need with not having to wait for someone to remember when going through the numbers. Would not recommend and will not be trusting this clinic with my pets!
I rang Paws in the City (partner had seen good reviews about their Vetinary practice on social media) as my own vet was unable to see my dog in an emergency, despite her having breathing difficulties. Paws in the City told me to bring my pet in straight away. On arrival the vet came straight out and whisked my dog off for a thorough examination. They took their time to investigate and give a diagnosis. Unfortunately my dog had to be admitted to the overnight vet. Paws in the City explained every stage of the process as this was all new to us. They were also very helpful in explaining how to complete a claim. I cannot thank Paws in the City enough for their professionalism and the level of service and care received from them at what was a very stressful time for our family. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.
Our experience with Paws in the City has mostly been below par. Emilia seems to be the only competent person there (hence the additional star) everyone else we've dealt with is useless. We constantly have been given inconsistent information and costs from the reception staff who aren't particularly friendly at all. The costs in particular keep rising but the quality is dropping. Our dog had a check up which only lasted 10 mins and the vet was late by 20-mins but it cost us £60. Flea and worming treatments prescribed by the vet cost double the cost than purchasing it elsewhere. We've tried their grooming services once but it was terrible quality so we've not been back. Whilst this vet is newish and modern, your money and pet is most likely better off elsewhere.
I am so grateful to the staff at paws clinic for the excellent care they provided for my dog. From the moment we walked in the door, the receptionist was friendly and welcoming, and the clinic was clean and well-organized. During the appointment, the vet took the time to explain all of the treatment options and answered all of my questions. They also made sure to address any concerns I had about my dog's health. The treatment my dog received was top-notch, and they made sure to follow up with me to check on her progress. I was very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of the staff at the Paws Clinic, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for taking such good care of my furry family member!
They are the best! the staff are very nice and helpful, that includes the receptionist, Vets and groomers. always happy to answer my questions by phone, email and the clinic The prices are reasonable, a little cheaper than her previous vet in the same area The vets are just the nicest, very understanding and caring The grooming service is great, I get my dog very clean and looking nice with a tidy haircut but not much of the style I ask for, for example, Teddy bear cut or Poodle cuts. Of course it depends on the fur's condition, my dog's fur tends to get tangled quickly so I understand the limitations In general, it is a great clinic, and I am very happy
Very friendly vets but they are not very transparent with pricing. I was given a quote for a procedure beforehand, but on the day of the surgery was asked to sign a contract with the price left blank. The vet assured me that I will not be charged more than the quote unless I wanted to buy a recovery bodysuit (cone is included). However, in the end I had to pay for a use-at-home painkiller for £30+ which was apparently not included in the quote price. As it seems to be a standard part of the surgery the extra charge came as a unpleasant surprise, especially when you have an animal that's just been operated and would rather take it home asap.
Booked a grooming weeks in advance and paid the deposit. First time they confused the appointment and rebooked us for tomorrow after long waiting, just received a call today a day before my appointment late afternoon from the new receptionist ( Luna ), very rude and arrogant that unfortunately we are not able to carry out your appointment for tomorrow! She is very unpleasant and not responsible and been so pushy to give us another day ten days after. She need to fix her ego, it’s for her own good. As a resident of Dickens yard I will definitely ensure that the rest of the residents and friends and family don't book this place!
I got a kitten after many years of not having any pets . I was bit panicking when my little kitty was bit down . I call the practice and the lady on the reception booked me in for the same day without delay. I was thrilled. On the way to the practice I got lost in Dickens Yard ( remember it like a big car park) but the receptionist lady came outside to greet me. Then the vet took such a great care of my Zoro and checked him all over. (It turned out that he was just bit tired) . On my next visit they show as much love for my little boy as the first time around. Great experience and thanks Paws In The City, from Sasha and Zoro
My cat was shot with a pellet gun and I took him to see KieKie at Paws in the City. It was my first time visiting this clinic and I really wouldn’t go anywhere else. KieKie was incredible and gave him the absolute best care possible. I have to say all staff here are amazing, warm and welcoming. I truly felt my cat was given the best care and I couldn’t recommend Paws in the City enough. I will not be going to my previous vet again! Thank you so much for your compassion and serious TLC! It’s a great feeling to know your pet is in the best hands especially when they’ve gone through such trauma
My cat need neutering so a friend suggested Paws in the city. I called to arrange and appointment. To my surprise they had availability immediately. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and polite. The staff are all so lovely. The vet was very compassionate and treated my cat so well. I was anxious and she made me feel very comfortable. I left my cat there and was called to pick it up. Coco was very content and comfortable after the successful op. I am so happy I chose to bring him here. I highly recommend this amazing vet. Thank you to all the amazing staff for taking care of my cat.
I would give this place no stars if I could. I called to enquire about my Persian cat but the lady on the phone sounded like she did not want to take the time to speak to me. It’s like she couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough. She told me she had availability next week but just given the way that I was spoken to there was no way I was going to book there. In addition, she didn’t even ask if I wanted to book next week. Don’t be charmed by the facade of their website making it seem like this is an upscale groomers. Would not trust my pet there. No thanks.
I'm so glad to choose Paws in the city. A couple of weeks ago my cat had a problem and it was a good experience for me to see how nice the people who work hard and act professionally to bring happiness to me as a mum of cats. They always are so patient and try to help our pets go back to normal life. And I trust them when I leave my cats with them because I know they are in good hands. For me, Paws in the city is number one. The only team with deep kindness and help you can ever see. Thanks to all of you especially Emiliya, Ana and Claudia.
I would highly recommend the veterinary clinic to everyone who is looking to get the best. I was very impressed when I called the clinic to enquire about getting my bunnies neutered. The receptionist staff was really helpful, friendly and always promptly responded to my emails. Furthermore, meeting the vet Emiliya and nurse Caitlin, reassured me even more that my little fluffies are going to be in good hands. They took their time to explain everything and answered all my questions. They were truly amazing. THANK YOU!
Unfortunately Paws in the City used to have an excellent groomer but this is not the case any more. We had a terrible groom here last month. The cut was uneven and my dogs face was cut so unattractively she didn't look like my dog at all. I was very upset. I was told by the girl who did the groom my dog was aggressive which is not true she is as soft as can be. She also said her coat was matted, which I would dispute. I won't be returning unless the old groomer who I have heard is on maternity leave returns.
Very professional, passionate and friendly team. My dog, Charlie extremely aggressive towards other people, 2-3 places refused to groom him even with musle on him...his fur went absolutely matted as I was busy with my newborn baby... In Paws in the City They are given my Charlie a full groom, in the and no even musle was needed and when we went to pick him up, was good surprise to see Charlie became friend with all of the team members there. 5stars service Absolutely professional people
I originally gave them only one star as I had a really bad customer service experience.. The person who spoke to me had absolutely no phone etiquette. But the proprietor immediately called me back and apologised for the incident and addressed the situation. I got my animal health certificate for travel to EU done here and they were extremely efficient. I am delighted with their service and will definitely be coming back to them in the future
Kiki is an amazing vet! She’s given my kittens the best care. She is very knowledgeable and always suggests what’s best for our kitties. Super polite and professional! Always a delight! The management and admin however could be better. I’ve been overcharged multiple times and have had to dispute a lot of payments with them. I’ve also not been provided invoices regularly and have had to request them. But overall, pretty amazing!
I recommend this groomer. Excellent communication and really friendly. I called on their closed day to make a first appointment as my dog was suffering with his long coat in the heat. They got me in the next day and took care of my dog . My pup was happy going in and coming out of the groomer. His haircut was exactly how I asked for ( lots of area to leave untouched ) All staff super friendly and reasonably priced. ;)
this place thinks it is ok not to tell customers that they have increased their grooming prices by 44% in less than 6 months! Beyond outrageous! Paws in the city have no regard for their customers… but want understanding when they cancel appointments at short notice and take a £20 deposit. What an appalling place. Disgusted! And also lied my dog was matted to get even more money from us - & did an awful job!
Excellent vet. I would recommend this place to anyone with a pet. Today I seen the vet Jaime. I trust him 100%. The way he looked after my cat was superb. We all felt really valued. All the staff are kind, friendly, knowledgeable and love animals. My dog always pulls to go in there to get the attention and treats they always give. 5 stars and the rest to Jaime and all the staff at paws in the city.
I recently took my small dog here for a dental cleaning and was very impressed with the treatment and facilities. Dr Kiekie was very fantastic and took great care of my dog. They explained the entire process to me and made sure I was comfortable with everything before proceeding. I would definitely recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for great treatment and very nice facilities.
The best vet in town. So reasonably priced compared to places like the Village Vet in Pitshanger Lane which is extortionate. Their attention to detail is wonderful. Our dog had to have emergency eye surgery and the vet was brilliant and kept us updated the whole way through. Can’t fault anything with them. The care they offer to animals is superlative. And their customer service is great too.
We’ve just been for our second visit to Paws in the City, this time for our dogs vaccination and check up. As previously we had such a fantastic experience. Kiki knows her stuff and is superb with Buddy. She is communicative, friendly and helpful. I love that we have the same vet each time and Buddy gets to know her. The reception staff are also absolutely wonderful. Thank you.
My cat had a bladder blockage which caused him so much distress and on top of that he’s a super anxious cat, yet the team at Paws in the City was amazing, taking amazing care of him and I must admit, they did their best to cheer me up! The team was kind, friendly, and professional at every single appointment! I strongly advice and suggest to register your pets here!!
We just had our first treatment for our new kitten, and we couldn't have asked for more helpful staff - Dr. Jaime was very gentle with him, made sure to answer all our questions and helped us learn how to clean his ears and trim his nails. You can see how much care is put towards the animals here, and we are going to be back and recommending this to anyone who asks!
Really great grooming experience here by Claudia! My dog was a little nervous of grooming after some previous experiences. He was put at ease and seemed to have had a really great time there. I was asked how I wanted his cut to be done and it was exactly what I wanted! He looks fantastic- this is definetley our regular now. Thank you to Claudia and the lovely team.
lovely place. everyone is super friendly. visited on 2 occasions with both my cats. both were happy, had good feedback from the staff about my fur babies. they were booked in for a grooming session - came out looking and smelling fresh and didn't seem distressed at all. Megan - groomed one my cats and she was great! Highly recommend might switch my vet to them too.
This is a one stop shop for my dog Bowie. He’s been neutered, had eye surgery and even gets his grooms here. Dr Kiki and Dr Emiliya are magnificent vets with such a lovely manner and Bowie always feels comfortable around them. Thank you for everything you’ve done for him and even being so helpful with form filling when claiming through pet insurance.
Really landed on my feet with PitC, never owned my own pet, had plenty growing up, so not experienced dealing with vets but they really are passionate about animals, and a great collegiate team. Great space as well which is calming to visit, my usually nervous cat had no qualms during his visit all thanks to the excellent bedside manner of the vet.
The team in Ealing is excellent! 5 start is not enough, more like 100 stars! They were so nice to me and my cat Fiona, and even with a challenging situation all they did was help and push for help for us. Cannot thank them enough and recommended them 100%! I’m forever thankful to the Vet Salvatore and Ana for their help! Thank you!!
Thanks to Dr Kiki and the reception staff Jess. Very professional VET with good care on checking my dog upon his arrival in London. Jess is very helpful and sincere to arrange all required checking and grooming service. Thanks also to Grooming staff who helped my dog with a fresh and decent trim and bathing. Recommended.
I’ve recently registered with this vet and I just wanted to share a special thanks to Keke! My cat is very shy and can be a little difficult but she was so patient and kind to him and really made his feel comfortable. She was very informative and answered all questions I had. She really did go above and beyond!
“My experience at Paws In The City was extremely positive the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They care as much about our animals as we do! The team is amazing! Will not go anywhere else. The grooming of my cats was just as I had wanted. I made a next appointment & would recommend to others.”
This is the worst vet in the uk. Do not take your pet there, they will steal your money. It's rubish, and it's a shame because some of that actuals vets are good, but the rest of the team is a bunch of thieves, they should close it down, it's ilegal to offer such a poor service and bad intentions.
My mini schnauzer Cassie has just had a fantastic grooming experience from Nan at Paws in the City Ealing. When it comes to grooming Cassie is anxious dog, but Nan was able to coax and sooth her sufficiently to give a great cut with no sedation! We will back to see Nan again soon! Many thanks
I had an excellent visit to Paws in The City with my dog Basil who was suffering from an inflamed dew claw. Basil can be a tricky patient but the lovely vet and her assistant cared for him beautifully and he has now fully recovered. A professional and caring grooming and vet's practice.
I was looking for a good vet practice to sterilization my cat. After long research I found Paws in the city. I was amazed with service. The practice were able to see next day. I was very happy with staff everyone was so nice and prices were affordable. I will definitely will be back.
Guilia at Ealing gave my seven year old schnauzer the best trim of her life! Guilia was professional, personable, clearly was talented as a groomer. Most importantly she loved my dog and reassured me that she was in safe and capable hands. I’ll be back for sure. Thank you Guilia!
Don't answer the phone and want to charge EXTORTIONATE fees just to get a flea treatment. Then try to claim generous quotes when both other vets I tried said they do free flea consultations with payment just for the flea treatment itself! Appalling and laughable to be honest.
Brought my ragdoll cat here as she wasn't feeling very well. She required immediate attention and thankfully, even though they were fully booked, they did all they could to accommodate us. I am so pleased to say that she is feeling fine now and I'm extremely grateful.
This is an amazing practise, so refreshingly different! Doesn’t feel like a vets at all. The staff are amazing and friendly. Anna the vet I saw is such an animal lover and you can tell it’s her passion. Highly recommend for your pets you will not be disappointed!
Very professional and friendly staff. They took great care of my French Bulldog Frank who was booked in for a checkup. All the team were passionate and very knowledgable, making me feel very much at ease. Great addition to Ealing and will be taking Frank back!
The vets were extremely helpful and comforting when I brought my dog Jamie in for a consult. I am so happy to have found a vet surgery so close by and where there is so much compassion for every animal that comes through the doors. Thank you Paws In The City
Nan is the best Groomer we know :) She is so kind and my little yourki is always happy and looks handsome after Nan grooming him . I would like to thanks specially Nan and also all other members of staff. Many Thanks every one. See you next month :) Alex
Brought our cat Cleo in and we had a fantastic experience. Friendly , welcoming, professional team that truly care. They put us at ease and made us feel delighted from beginning to end. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our Cleo ❤️
Such a great vets - had to go to Kiki and team for an emergency as had inherited my mums dog Benji and she was so friendly and skilled. Since then when I’ve been back I have great service in a modern light vets practice… highly recommended!
The Paws In The City is an excellent, open-minded team which has provided exceptional service! I can’t thank enough the entire team starting from warmly welcoming us to the outstanding service from Caitlin and Amy. Caitlin has been highly
A modern practice with a young, knowledgeable and enthusiastic team. I'm very happy with the service I've received over the past year for our four year-old rescue dog. The "Paws Club" is a great money-saving initiative. Would recommend!
Fantastic vet services, annual check-up for our dog was approached in a very calm, professional and friendly manner despite a busy schedule for the team. No regrets at all signing up with Paws in the City to help us look after our pup!
I drive about 25 mins to bring my two Siberians here for vet services and grooming. They’re lovely, the area is pleasant to be around while waiting, and my cats end up purring during their grooming sessions, so what is not to love?
We recently transitioned from the Ealing branch to the Greenford branch with very high standards thanks to their lovely team. And with no surprise the Greenford team is just as welcoming, knowledgeable and caring for our puppy!
This was an enjoyable experience for Bobo with Paws in the City. Thank you for their professional services and passion for serving my pet. I will definitely come back to them even though I am not living in London.
Fabulous service. Great reception staff who are extremely friendly and the vet was equally friendly. I’d totally recommend anyone bringing their fur babies here. My usually shy kitten seemed to like it here too!
I was very happy with the nurse’s approach to taking care of my Meli and my concerns as well! Caitlin was very welcome and warm. She explained everything very clearly to me and I left very comforted. Thank you!
Just yesterday they neutered my 2 kitten, I can only say amazing service. All the staff look really professional and ready to answer to all your questions, really good fealing. I strongly recommends this vet.
Great staff. Great service. My main vet for my all 4 cats. So far I registered one but I will be assigning all the rest of my cats. The lady who did a vaccine for my cat was very nice. Recommend to locals.
I take my dog regularly to Paws for his groom and he comes out both clean and happy! The team are always really friendly and I've found that there's consistency, which is the mean reason I return.
We had a great experience at City Vets this morning with our new kitten. Emiliya was patient and professional, and answered all our questions. Excellent customer and pet care, we’ll be returning!
A splendid veterinary practice. Everyone is so kind and helpful, both to pets and owners. Nothing is too much trouble for our elderly cat Snowy. We recommend most highly - a six-star practice!
Kayla, my cocker spaniel, was cut by Megan. She came back looking amazing. It has been one of my favourite cuts she’s had so far and Kayla came back super happy bouncing about. 100% recommend
Ziggy loved his time at paws in the City. When dropped him off the staff were polite and welcoming and when I picked him up he was calm, showing that he had had a good experience. Thank you.
Thank you so much to all the lovely vets here! So helpful and reasureing to me when I had concerns about my dog Ella. Couldn't recommend better people to look after your family with paws!
Very happy with todays visit to the Paws in the City practice for routine vaccinations. Welcoming and friendly team who listened, advised and suggested current and future care. 5 STARTS!
Amazing first full grooming experience for my 7 month old Shih Tzu. The staff were all very friendly and he looked sooo lovely and smelt amazing and fresh! I'll definitely visit again.
very nice shop. I schedule an appointment for bath and tidy and my little chihuahua came home smelling amazing, nails trimmed and with the new sweater I brought and asked to be put on
The staff at Paws in the City Ealing are lovely and the vet Ellie caring and conscientious. Heals better than the previous local vet. The grooming carried out by Julia was fab too.
Taken my little Spaniel, Olive, to these guys twice now, and both vets we’ve seen have been super sweet. Very knowledgeable and kind natured. Couldn’t recommend them enough. Jay
I have never met such a kind team and vet, had trouble with some bureaucracy, and Dr. Federico helped me with everything!, the treatment i had for my cat was amazing.
Scruffy dog became tidy pooch. Friendly staff, fantastic groomer. They looked after my dog really well. They even said he behaved himself, miricle! …
Rudi is super happy with his Groom and we think he looks and smells gorgeous, definitely recommend paws in the city, friendly staff and great service Thank you ♥️
Very good vets, my Lucy is recovering well after surgery. Very good value for money especially against other vets in Ealing. Thank you for your good work
Great groomer. Staff very helpful and friendly and they took great care of the dog. Really nice groom, exactly what we asked for. Will def be going back
