I recently had the pleasure of visiting Paxton Veterinary Clinics with my beloved pet, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care and service provided by their kind and attentive personnel. From the moment I stepped through their doors, I knew my furry friend was in excellent hands. The staff at Paxton is an absolute delight to interact with. Their warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease. Every member of the team, from the receptionists to the veterinary technicians, demonstrated a genuine passion for animals and a sincere desire to ensure their well-being. The veterinarians at Paxton are truly outstanding professionals. They possess a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and their commitment to providing the best possible care for their patients is commendable. I was thoroughly impressed by their attention to detail and their ability to explain complex medical conditions and treatment plans in a manner that was easy for me to understand. During our visit, the veterinarians took the time to thoroughly examine my pet, addressing all my concerns and answering any questions I had. Their patience and willingness to listen made me feel valued as a pet owner, and I felt confident that my pet was receiving the highest level of care available. One aspect that truly sets Paxton apart is their genuine love and compassion for animals. The staff's passion for their work shines through in everything they do. They go above and beyond to ensure the emotional well-being of their patients and provide support and comfort to both pets and their owners during difficult times.

Another update re Paxton - just want to say a huge thank you to Adam. Adam was amazing recently when my sister’s 13 year old Labrador (Cassie) had to be put to sleep due to many ongoing problems. Adam went the extra mile. Cassie was given treats, was relaxed, given a safe space, kindness and empathy - as were we! What for many is the saddest time for saying goodbye to their dogs, all I can say from my point of view was Adam created an environment which was both beautiful and moving. Cassie went to sleep surrounded by love and we are left with wonderful memories. Adam you were amazing - truly and your empathy shone through. I had a new found respect for you. Zoe was also excellent and had seen Cassie through lots of ups and downs - thank you too. We appreciate all that Paxton has done over the years. 1 year ago Fabulous service received at Paxton. My dog has had an ongoing problem, which they have been monitoring and can deteriorate quickly. I contacted the vets today, but unfortunately they were booked solid. That said, I left a message for the vet (Arassi) to call, if possible. Blown away that even after a fully booked surgery, I was contacted and given advice and medication. Wow! Thanks so much to the whole team for excellent service, which it usually is, but today I really appreciated the extra effort to sort Teddy out.

I took my cat for some dental treatment. We were overall treated well and informed. A couple of suggestions I'd make is to weigh the pet in the box and then deduct the weight of the box as there were some issues with the weighing process and discrepancy with my cats weight. As my cat was unable to have stitches after two extractions I would suggest that antibiotics be given as a precaution because of the open wound or at least that be an option discussed with the owner. I have seen some dental staining still on her front tooth after her dental work which I'm not sure should still be there. I have purchased Logic paste which is applied to her paw for her to lick because at 8 years of age she's not going to tolerate tooth brushing. I would use Paxton vets again. I have had my cat treated again at Paxton vets and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and treatment she has received. It's clear that all the staff have a deep love of animals. It is a wonderful practice and I am so grateful for their services.

We have only great things to say about the Paxton Vets. Unlike many vets I have been to with my pets in the past, there are no excessive waiting times which is a huge bonus when trying to fit appointments around work and family life. The staff are friendly, polite and well informed and give great service on phone, email and indeed in person. It's so refreshing! The vets and nurses are wonderful and genuinely care about and are interested in the animals in their care. Never once did we feel rushed or as though we were on a conveyor belt of clients to be seen that day. Our cat, Pepper, was always well looked after and treated to lots of cuddles with the vets and nurses - he never stressed about going to there which was so important to us. I would - and have - recommended to friends with pets in the area.

We have heard rave reviews about Paxton’s since moving to the area and we were not disappointed on our first visit. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals welfare and the humans concerns, we were offered more help with our cats health and our financial constraints in one introduction session than we’ve had in any vet practices ever. We now have our cat covered on so many more health issues and are actually paying less than before because of their payment plan. Feeling a lot less anxious for further vet visits now we know we are in such safe hands. I also know they are fantastic at helping in emergencies of injured and lost animals in the area, so really are the caring vet practice animals deserve. Thank you!

I want to thank the whole team for their continuous excellent service. You can really tell this team cares about every animal when pet owners call. Over the last couple of years my pet has had several different issues. Luckily nothing life threatening but as a pet mummy, we worry insanely! Every time I have taken my dog to see the vet, he comes out with a very speedy recovery. The reception team always do their best to squeeze me in on the day where possible if it’s very urgent. They seem to understand the urgency of seeing a vet asap which I really appreciate. Highly recommend this vet practice. Great efficient and friendly staff. Big thank you for always saving my baby.

I have been taking my dog (Chihuahua) to this Veterinary Practice for several years now and I honestly wouldn't take her anywhere else. Both the Veterinary Staff & the Reception Staff are a delight! A special shout out to Zoe (Vet) for all her help recently. You're a star! The genuine care and concern for animals is very evident at the Practice. They treat my dog with lots of love, care & attention & are always professional towards me. During my visits I have always found the Staff to be welcoming, polite & friendly & find this very reassuring when bringing my dog in for appointments.

I got a puppy last year and I chose to register him at Paxton’s as they had good reviews. Really happy that we went with Paxton’s, my dog is always excited to go there which says a lot about the friendly staff, nice environment and dog treats :) Easy to get an appointment when needed and the receptionists are always really helpful when I call and visit. I put Buddy on the healthcare plan which prompts me every month to give the flea and worm treatments which I swear by because otherwise I would always forget. I would always recommend Paxton’s to anyone looking for a vets

I have used Paxton vets for many many years and can highly recommend them. I have had many cats and chickens over the time and i am always happy in the knowledge that they will do the best they possibly can for them. I always come away feeling I understand what’s going on rather than being mystified with my pets condition as everything is explained so clearly. The whole team are also very compassionate and have made some very difficult situations and decisions easier than they may have otherwise been, they look after both beloved pet and owner equally as well.

They took great care of my sick dog in her dying months last year and helped us through the painful steps of putting her to sleep. The whole staff clearly care greatly about the animals they care for, and I am grateful for their compassion and professionalism through a tough time. Anna was especially helpful and paid extra attention to the small details that eventually helped extend my dogs life for a few months. Overall I am very pleased with the service provided by Paxtons, if I ever get a dog again, they will be my first choice for a Vet.

The person at reception was lovely. When I walked in they were dealing with a lost dog that was brought in, phoning around trying to find the owners. Instead of putting the dog in a kennel, he was kept behind the reception counter where it was cooler - which I thought was sweet. They also made sure to check if our cat’s microchip details were up to date, even printing it out for me. The vet also handled our extremely nervous cat really well, giving me lots of options for treatments and explaining everything thoroughly.

Very very happy with the service I received at my first appointment for my kitten. Vet Zoë treated her with care and I was given a full explanation of what options I had for her in terms of insurance - 4 weeks free, pet plan, neutering, diet, etc. Zoë even followed up with an email after the appointment with additional information for me which I really appreciated to help try and treat my allergies. Would happily recommend the practice and will continue to use them without question!

Paxton put the animals first. They are concerned for the pets welfare and then give you all options. They are honest and straight talking and you know exactly where you stand. They also care for the owner and when it's bad news they know to care for you too, just little things like sorting the bill later and a sympathy card send in the mail. Been with Paxton for many years , they know my animals and they care , always had the best reception and treatment - no more needs saying.

Paxtons at Clifton are really the loveliest vets - I have had my dog registered here since he was a puppy after daycare recommended them and I would definitely recommend to anyone else. They're really communicative on the phone or email and always willing to give out advice. They're also very understanding and patient with my dog who is pretty big and very nervous. I appreciate knowing that my dog is in safe and friendly hands with them. Thanks so much for everything!

One of the best vets we've ever used across a multiple of animals at home. Fabulous communications two reminders when to do monthly flea medicine as an example of dog pet care, super friendly staff and very knowledgeable vets at a convenient location with off street parking ( Clifton Rd.branch), and a clean, well organised, tidy location We've recommended Paxton vets to many of our friends and uniformly they have all shared an equally good experience

We always had a positive experience at Paxtons with our cockapoo, Remi! They were helpful, supportive and patient with lots of questions! They were super helpful in securing medication, on one occasion calling around multiple places to get Remi’s medication urgently! I understand they’re a little pricier than other nearby vets but we were happy to pay that for the friendly and helpful service. Would happily recommend!

I'm always happy with the service I receive at Paxton Vets. Every staff member I've dealt with has been so friendly and helpful, our dog loves his trips to the vets because he gets so many cuddles from everyone! I trust the vets and nurses completely with his health and wellbeing, and it is lovely to meet a  practice manager so passionate about providing the best care to their patients.

Great service and care from the staff from front reception to vet. Pleasing and spacious waiting room for both owners and pets. We have returned to Paxton Clifton and are now under the care of vet: Arasi, thrilled to finally find a vet who understand our needs and has surpassed our standards. I have brought many cats to this practice for many years and have received nothing but a brilliant service. ALL the staff, including the reception staff, are very helpful and professional. Treatments etc are explained clearly and if and when I have any questions ( even when appeared silly ) they were answered quickly and politely. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

I lost my poor bunny Darbie, and paid to get him cremated. It's been a few weeks and I've come home to a free gift from the vets, of a sympathy card, with my little boys nose and paw prints, plus a bottle with some of his hair inside. This is so touching, and just shows how much they care for everyone. Thank you, you have given me something I will treasure forever.

Took ages to register my 2 dogs, then not contacted as I was told I would. Then 3 hours before my appointment that I finally managed to get for my injured dog they cancelled and told me they have no appointments and maybe they shouldn't have registered me. Awful service for a 'new' client, h9w badly do they treat everyone else?

Amazing Vets for our kitty. Fantastic at what they do, very knowledgeable, always helpful and kind and polite and many times helped to find budget friendly solution first whilst keeping the best interests for our pet in mind. Always feel safe and well cared for. So rare to be able to find someone to trust like this these days!

Excellent clinic. My dog is 6 now and we have attended since he was a puppy. Very caring to both the pet and the ‘parent’. Costs are always discussed before treatment and the pet plan is ideal for routine vaccinations and care. I thoroughly recommend Paxton Vets.

Not a bad vet, always helpful and on time. If you have an emergency they are sometimes a little too busy to see you. They could provide water outside the front door for dogs.
