I moved to Houston in 2020 and since then I’ve always taken my dog to pet supplies plus everything was fine until 8-16-2022 when I took him for his regular haircut. I specifically told the groomer by the name Lisa that I only wanted her to clean/shaved his sanitary areas his paw pats and his face but not to touch his eyelashes. When I went to pick him up. I had to tell her that she forgot his sanitary area she cut his eyelashes and his paw pats were not trimmed correctly. I dont even think that she spray him with any spray. Max always enjoy his spa days but that day when we got home he was acting very weird. I paid for the VIP package and was one of the most horrible experience I had with a groomer. She looked very irritated when I told her that she forgot his sanitary areas and about the eyelashes. Very unhappy with the service. I’ve been a customer for 2 and half years now. And I honestly think that I will be looking for a different pet groomer.

This is it. This is the place. In business school I heard of places where employees were helpful and empowered to make decisions - but I never encounter these mythical business models in the real world. When I arrived I wanted to wash my dog. I got in line to pay and a young lady said - you can wash your dog and pay after, that way you don't have to stand in this line. I said thank you but I would wait as I wanted to buy a brush to use. She said "they're down this Aisle - just keep the bar code and pay for both at once." Amazing how something so small goes a long way. When I went to pay I was even more surprised to learn the dog wash was less than half of the store down the road. Smart, helpful and empowered employees coupled with fair pricing. I believe this store will soon wipe out all other competition. This is my new and only store for pet supplies.

My new FAVORITE pet store. Super helpful and super great customer service! I was having an issue figuring out what dog food to feed my dog because Blue Buffalo was giving my dog diarrhea. I went to Petco and PetSmart and neither gave me an educated answer I was looking for. I spoke to several people at those locations and no one seem to know anything about dog nutrition. But Pet Supplies Plus helped me understand why Blue Buffalo wasn't working and that's because it's LOADED with fat and they guided me to "Redford Naturals Salmon & Oatmeal recipe!" His stools are perfect and he loves his food! I'm waiting still to see if the food will help fill in some areas on his body from the nutrition. We're only one bag in so far before I switch him to my final choice but the guy was supper knowledgeable in animal nutrition. This is my go to store now. THANK YOU!

Because the owner was so kind as to care about my opinion, I decided to actually add some context to the review, and why I rated 4/5 instead of 5/5. The store itself is excellent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is clean and well organized. Even the location is convenient. The one issue I have is I have yet to find a way to make the process quite as cheap as ordering food for my cats in bulk from Amazon. I can get 30ish days worth the same quality food for a a bit cheaper on Amazon than I can going into the store and filling a cart with cans. Perhaps that's on me, and I am just missing something obvious, (It wouldn't be the first time!) but that is the one thing keeping me from rating this store a 5/5. All that being said, I stand by what I said earlier. Pet Supplies Plus is an excellent store, with excellent employees.

The advertised prices are great, the managers know how to run things, and there's a good selection of products. BUT, about 75% of the time I am overcharged because the advertised price does not ring up... for example BOGO. I've paid over $25 on items, which a big mistake. Then, you have to drive back to the store to get it rectified, and if the manager is not on duty, the ever revolving employees don't know a thing. An employee, named Melissa, who looked like she was straight out of the zombie apocalypse, was rude and looked like I bothered her during texting, to pay for my items. She was unhelpful, and constantly interrupted me when I had questions, and appeared to despise this job. Other employees have been nice, and have even played with my dog. Check your receipts BEFORE leaving the store!!

After trying this place for 2 months, all I can say is that I wish I had the option to give this place -5 stars. I simply wanted to wash my two Chihuahuas using their bathing station. They wanted to charge $20 for both when I can easily pay $10 at Petco and wash two for the price of one. In addition, these people will constantly bombard you for your private information in order to sign up for their mediocre rewards program. Every time I buy some dog food, the first thing the clerks always ask for are my email, phone number, name, etc. without even asking if I was interested in their newsletters, discounts, or rewards program in the first place. I will never go back to this place and would definitely not recommend it to anyone else.

I had a great experience for my first time at the store a new worker at the store named Elijah.G) I believe he told me he was new and still went out to help me with all my needs he helped not only finding a great cleaning item for my dog’s but he also help check out my items he was so sweet made my experience even better and it looked like his hand was wrapped up and he still asked me if I needed help with my items to my car I thought that was so nice i really love how pet supply plus teach there new co workers how to treat there customers or what they like to say neighbors lol 5 star in my book⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I cannot say enough positive things about the Pet Supplies Plus on El Camino in Clear Lake. The environment is always warm and positive. It is clear the employees are happy working there. They are friendly and helpful. I recently had a horrific experience with a manager at a local hardware store. In contrast, I have never had a negative experience at Pet Supplies Plus. Yesterday I was looking for the cat water fountains when the manager asked if she could help me. She was informative and positive. She took the time needed to help me decide on the best product for me. I highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus.

I could not be more disappointed with my self service wash experience. Only 2 of 3 bays had working nozzles. There was only 1 lead. I asked the person that worked there if they had anymore. She stated no people keep taking them. The apron that was dryish was broken (the clasp for around the neck was missing one of the two parts). The water would get ice cold while I was washing my dog. The cherry on top is it’s gone up in price. I haven’t been in here to wash my dog in awhile and don’t plan to return to this location

Every time I've been to this store, I felt more than welcomed with a warm greeting and got all the help when needed. Yesterday, I got my first delivery from the store and they did a top job. By mistake, I ordered items out of stock, but they did everything to manage and in a couple of hours I got my order delivered on my front door. Thank you for keeping us safe in this unprecedent situation! A special thank to Andrea, who talked to me on the phone and was able to crack the code of my not so perfect English!

This place is great. It is full of any dog and cat needs, including a self wash station for your pets. You can usually find a deal like 2 for $10 on bags of treats. They run a dog rescue/adoption I believe once a month, and they have a cat rescue station set up on site, where they take care of cats that are ready to be rescued. You can donate your time by signing up to go in and feed/water and nurture the cats which is rewarding to both sides. Always stocked and clean, I go there over petsmart and petco.

I've never had a bad experience at this store. They have cheap prices and high quality food and merchandise. I can get the specialty dog food I used to buy on Amazon for cheaper at this store, and I get it when I need it instead of it just being shipped to me 1x a month. The store even has a dog washing station in the back, which is perfect for dog moms who live in apartments like me...but heads up to those who own hairy dogs: the brush is not provided like at Petco, so bring your own brush (BYOB).

This has been one of my favorite retail experiences to date! We were greeted with a smile upon entering. Ms. Holly (sales rep.) was absolutely a gem and incredibly helpful! Also a plus, the groomer, Holly, was informative on pricing and it was so much more affordable that I booked an appointment for my senior pom. The store was clean, beautiful and well stocked. Selection was perfect. So glad we stumbled upon it today! Thank you for a pleasant experience!

I used to shop here but the old female manager ran me off after some the worst customer experience ever. Went to their other store in friendswood and got the same bad care. I wrote this company off completely until one day I needed something I couldnt find else where. I walked into a completely new store. It didnt smell, it was clean and employees seemed happy. Thats when I ran into the new manager who went above and beyond. You have my business again!

We love our neighborhood Pet Supplies store! We have never had an experience in store short of excellent, they always make us feel welcomed and appreciated. We recently started ordering our dog food through their delivery service which is so simple and convenient to use when you have dogs who go through food quickly and you aren’t wanting to make a trip to the store. 5 stars for the best pet store in the neighborhood.

I was in search of senior dog food, just randomly looked up pet stores near me and Pet Supplies Plus came up. Reviews looked great so decided to try it. Very clean store! I asked a worker about senior dog food and he was very knowledgeable. At check out they offered to help me with my dog food which was greatly appreciated. Ill definitely be shopping there from now on.

Holly Dean is the best groomer! As any Frenchie owner knows, they can be a little “picky” with who they associate with. Holly has been taking care of my three Frenchies since 2018. She is very accommodating, kind and understanding. She understands their personalities and their quirks. So glad I found her! My pack loves her! Holly with Kevin, pictured here.

Every single person we interacted with was so kind and gentle. They were incredibly willing to help with every question we had and patient with our puppy as well the kids with us. The prices are much better than other pet stores nearby, and we can't wait to go back! Update: still awesome, still the cheapest place in the area, still gonna keep going back.

Very much worth the $20.00 I spent to go bathe my 2 big dogs. The oatmeal shampoo worked wonders, fleas just fell out of my thick hair dog fur. The facility is very nice. They have towels, shampoo and conditioner. Blowers built right in to wash bay. 2 big dog bays and 1 small dog bay. With a waiting room for play on the side. Staff was very nice.

I came in and immediately greeted by Sean! He was very kind, pleasant and helpful! He walked me to the register where I was billed out by Jennifer. She was just as pleasant as Sean. They didn't have saltwater fish food, but I took the time to give them 5 stars because the young man who works there was fantastic. He came out with an umbrella for me as I walked up in the rain and was very helpful and pleasant. I warned them about my drama queen of a puppy and they reassured me they’ve seen it all. They’re really great at making sure my dog and I were taken care of and I even learned a bit of knowledge about grooming and my dogs. We had our two dogs groomed by Alyssa yesterday and she did a great job. We are new to the area and this was our first time we visited Pet Supplies Plus on El Camino Real. The store is well organized, clean, and the staff was genuinely helpful in answering all of our questions. Kudos again to Alyssa for the great grooming!

I took my dog there for grooming. Holly is AMAZING! She is extremely friendly and so good with the dogs. Mine actually let her clip her face and that never happens. Also, the googly eye contest is hilarious! The other team members are all very nice and helpful every time I go there. I will definitely be back. Thanks Holly!

Alexis did a wonderful job grooming my little dog. He was not in the best shape when I brought him in and she made him look so good. He is old, blind and hard of hearing. She also bathed and did the toenails of my other two. I would highly recommend Pet Supplies Plus, and I would definitely recommend Alexis as a groomer.

Visited this place for the first time with my wife to get a harness for our dog and I really liked this place. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. A good selection of stuff and even a place people can wash their big dogs if they don't have room to wash them at home. Will definitely be coming here from now on.

I really like this place! I come here for everything for my hamsters and my dog. I rated 4 stars however, because this location doesn't seem to really care for their employees. They always seem short-staffed. Even though the workers are ALWAYS stressed out, they are incredibly nice every time.

Pet supplies plus is a great place don’t get me wrong but when I went in there 2 weeks ago there was about 2 fish dead floating at the top of the tank. When I went in there today there was about 15 gold fish that were at the bottom and top of the tank dead. I wouldn’t buy fish here.

This is my go to pet store in the area. Employees here are always kind and helpful! Heather in the grooming salon is so sweet and always does an amazing job with my Dachshund Aussie mix. They also have a donation receptacle in store that I often bring gently used leashes, toys, etc!

We have 6 dogs and love the bulk treats. This time, the store had full stock of various treats for our pups. Of course, I couldn't leave the place without buying a frozen marrow bones. They are not flavored or cooked with additives, like in other stores, and very safe for the dogs.

Went in on Thursday afternoon, everyone was so sweet and helpful, except this one girl who had glasses; not sure her name, she was just standing around on her phone while the other employees were obviously busy, other than that, the people are incredible and i had great service.

So I feel I need to share my experience with Grooming. We always use Sassy!!! She has done a fantastic job with our Husky/Lab mix. Our girl goes in like a beginning Shaggy DA and comes out like a Diva walking the runway she feels so good.

I take my husky here for a bath and brush with Sassy. She’s wonderful, and my pup always looks and smells amazing after her service. She does a thorough job getting her undercoat brushed out which isn’t an easy task, especially for a dog

As I walked into the store I was greeted immediately by an Iris she was very helpful and made sure I got what I needed. she help me and even had a warm smile and was determined to find the right item. overall this was a good experience.

Always a wonderful experience here. They were out of my delivery order for puppy food so they substituted three small bags of the same food which weighed a bit less so they gave me a discount with a nice note. Excellent customer service
