When I was getting my puppy I checked out all the different pet stores to get supplies for her and to figure out which one was a good fit. The employees here walked me through the store and talked me through food options, they were not pushy or judgemental about it, we talked about finding a sweet spot between my budget and the standard of care I wanted my dog to have. The first visit was incredible and it did a lot to make my decision but then I got the dog and I took her with me. Like, its a pet store, I wanted to be able to bring my dog and have her be part of her own grocery run, and thats a normal thing to want most pet shops understand that. When we got the food she had been eating she recognized the bag, but when we went and looked at the toys so we could pick out one together her eyes lit up as if she understood that we went there just to buy presents and treats for her and it was just such a sweet moment. It isnt even that I love Pet Supplies Plus (although I do), like my most ringing endorsement is that my dog loves Pet Supplies Plus. The employees always remember her name and make her feel special. We went there for baths a couple of times and she was really scared of the first bath but we got some treats after and the second time she didnt mind the bath so much. Pet Supplies Plus is a place where you buy nice things for your pet without breaking your bank, the employees are knowledgeable and helpful, they make you feel included and welcome and if you take your pet with you places then its a place that your pet will very much enjoy.

Really upset at the grooming folks. I took my dog in to get grooming and showed the wrong vaccination card that had an expired vaccine from the vet (they made a mistake). When I found the correct one with the correct expiration they told me that I can't use it EVEN THOUGH THE CORRECT ONE WAS DATED AFTER. I've been waiting to get him groomed for weeks and then I offered to call the vet and was told that if I did that they probably wouldn't be able to take him. Thanks for nothing guys. I won't be shopping here anymore. My experience is ruined by the incompetence. I should also add he had a grooming already a couple months back but for some reason he wasn't saved into the system... Should I have had the right vaccine card ready? Sure, but the fact that they wouldn't trust the correct one and did previously is pretty ridiculous. I'll find a new groomer even if it does mean driving.. I can't afford to waste my time showing up just to be turned away.

There was no doubt that it was the worst experience of my life... A full-service dog grooming appointment was scheduled for $125. My dog's hair was matted a bit when I brought it into the shop. As soon as the groomer was done shaving 1/3 of my dog, I never confirmed the final price. All of a sudden, the groomer informed us that the matted fur would be an extra $100. The CEO of Pet supply plus agreed to pay all upcharges for this grooming ($100) after I complained to him. However, the groomer refused to service my dog, and after an argument with a groomer, I had to leave the shop naked with 1/3 of my dog's fur. It is unacceptable that this Seattle "Pet Supplies Plus" is using this method to scam customers into paying more service fees, cutting before confirming the final price and asking for more. Do not go here if you don't want to get scammed or walk out with 1/3 naked, there is much better place with better service.

The first day I took my dog He looked great but they asked me to come back a second day and clearly it was a different person it should be basic knowledge not to cut that low on a double coated breed they should have used a clipper gaurd. He has several cut marks on his tail and on his rear area. I tipped 20 the first day because I thought it looked good but if it was the second day I would question tipping them at all in fact I would have questioned even paying. This has been my worse grooming experience so far and they charged more then any other place I've been to. And his tale looks terrible very lucky that I can't get a good picture. They clearly left him in a kennel for hours then rushed at the end. I would like a refund so I can go to a better groomer.

I come here primarily to use the self wash service for my 100lbs American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff mix. They have a great option of buying a discounted 5 washes for only 40.00. They provide aprons if needed, fresh clean towels, and an assortment of shampoos. They have two stations for larger dogs that are elevated with stairs for easy entry, and a smaller, higher bathing station for smaller dogs. You can adjust the temperature as needed (always use tepid, Luke warm water when bathing -- never hot), and the blow dryer has different nozzles and strengths. I love their assortment of treats, toys, and food, and they are always sending me coupons via mail/email to help me save some cash! The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I can not say enough good things about this store and it’s employees. Was so happy to see them move into my neighborhood. You know the feeling when you go to a hospitality driven establishment? (Think Ritz Carlton, Four seasons ) you leave feeling better than you did and well taken care of . these guys knock it out of the park ! It’s not customer service , it’s hospitality. The employees are what makes this place . The grooming department is just as phenomenal! Just had my little princess get her summer cut . She looks like a supermodel now! (She is usually very timid and afraid getting groomed). She didn’t have an ounce of that today due to the staff. Trust me , go here for your grooming needs.

We shop here almost exclusively for our dog and cat. Like other reviews mention, the service is phenomenal every time! We even switched to a different, better litter on the recommendation of an employee. The last time I was in there was a small system hiccup and my online order didn’t process properly (to no fault of the store itself). The owner went above and beyond to make up for it, despite — as I mentioned — it not being his or his store’s fault. We were already loyal customers before that, but it really solidified our trust in and happiness with this location. Thank you to Bob and team for excellence in every area!

I am helping my friend that is having a hard time getting around so i made an appointment for a grooming, nails… for saturday at 3pm about 4-5 days ago when I got there with her dog he had another dog there and came out and told me he needed a rabies vaccine I asked him why didn’t he tell me that when I made the appointment and he lied and said he did tell me. He did not tell me that or i would have told my friend and she would have had time to find the records . and he knew i was bringing my friends dog in. . i don’t own a dog. plus he took that other dog before he told me this at my friends dog appointment time.

We LOVE this store! We’ve been glad to have a pet store that carries both the big brands but also unique dog food, treats and toys that you just can’t find elsewhere. We have also taken our Aussiedoodle for grooming there a handful of times now and have loved their full service. Their groomers know their stuff! Cash loves to come visit in general but now often looks super fly when leaves too . We have done the more traditional cuts but we decided to let him rock out with this last cut. Check him out! And also check Pet Supplies out -they’ll take good care of you and your pooch!

My family has been so excited for this store to open, as we’d been desperately looking for a good pet supply store near us. Pet Supplies Plus in Westwood did not disappoint!!! Brandon was so wonderful in helping me find what I needed in the store and very knowledgeable about their brands and products. They even gave me some samples of the new cat food I was buying so I could test out some different flavors with my picky eater (she’s loved the Fromm food, btw!). We’ll definitely be making this our local pet supply store, especially with the selection of reptile products and other small pets!

My mom and I came for the first time today. We were greeted right away as we entered. Very organized and clean store. Employees have smiles on their face. The groomer is a sweetheart. Outstanding job!! Love the variety of supplies and how they were separate from dogs, cats, etc. We got lots of great goodies and a new leash and collar for My Mom's dog. Our cashier even went out of her way to make sure the harness we were buying fit properly and went back twice to make sure we were happy. Will definitely be back again. Finally a pet store that I enjoy shopping at.

Came here for the self-serve wash and to get my little doggie a coat. Very nice setup, you have your different choice of shampoo (including hypoallergenic shampoo for dogs with skin allergies), blow dryer and towels, apron, etc. Also very clean!! I love the fact that it’s very inclusive and has supplies for a lot of different species of pets; Dogs, cats, small animals, fish, reptiles, birds. And I also love the location, very convenient as I live close by. Staff are very welcoming and kind. Overall 10/10 experience for me and my pet!!

Been visiting since they opened, love the selection and depth of products available. Perfect for almost all pet owners. Dogs, cats, fish, rodents they've got all the supplies you could need for really good prices. Started bringing my pomeranian puppy in for grooming and they have done amazingly! The store owners and all the staff at Pet Supplies Plus in West Seattle are wonderful! I have a cat, pug, and two reptiles and they help with all the things for my animals! I have my pug groomed there and they do a beautiful job. They are always welcoming to my kiddos and host fun events that we attend. In fact, my son got his bearded dragon during their ‘Scales and Tails’ event a few months ago! Thank you Pet Supplies Plus for the kindness you show my family!

We LOVE this place! The customer service is excellent and knowledgeable - staff is great and ready to help. Prices are very good too. My son went down tonight to grab a few things and the guy was so helpful with the grain vs no grain question - I figured it was to time to review since we’ve had nothing but great experiences!! I came in today with the intention of only getting poop bags for my dog and to check out the new store. I saw that they had self washing stations and ended up washing my dog. It was my first time using a self washing set up and I loved it. The owners and staff were friendly and very helpful. I ended up leaving with a bunch of things for my dog, a membership and a punch card for the self washing station. They got me lol

Wow! I wandered in here looking for a puppy gift and never expected to get the all-star treatment. I was lucky enough to bump in to their COO and Chief Merchandiser. Both were so extremely helpful, not only with my gift selection but also with some great advise about my own pups. Will be checking out their grooming soon! Awesome store and the staff/management are so nice and down to earth. I went specifically to try out their dog was station for my dogs first bath at one of these, it was very clean and accessible and worth the money which is a very good price imo. I ended up getting dog food and treats too, which were the most affordable prices for the quality I've seen around. Will definitely be coming back.

Love this place! Locally owned and stocked with everything you need. Super clean. The staff are the friendliest. They go above and beyond, including staying open 15 minutes later so I can run home to grab my wallet. We’ve come here a few times and never a complaint. Our Golden Retriever loves coming here and picking treats too! We look forward to using their self-wash service soon.

I have 2 cats and started coming here right when it opened because it's in such a convenient location. The staff have always been nice and helpful. The owner(s) have also introduced themselves to me and definitely come off friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great variety here and even deliver. Went to use their self dog wash service. Where the wash is located is set up like a gym bathroom. It is completely open. No privacy. If a customer were shopping there & you are washing your dog, you could reach out and touch that customer. I really don't want people to see my Shephard and myself completely totally wet & sweating. Just no privacy at all. I walked in & walked out.

Fantastic store with helpful and friendly staff. One even bought me a bag to carry my cat food cans in because I regularly clean out their stock of chicken pate. I'm here every other week to buy wet food for my 8 year old cat who is missing most of her teeth, as well as dry cat kibble for my 3 year old cat and the crows I've fed for around 6 years now. Thanks for everything!!

I came across this place because my usual spot was closed early. These guys went above and beyond to meet my needs! I requested a flavor of dog food they didn’t currently have and a man named Bob jumped through every hoop in the book to make sure I left satisfied. Excellent customer service. Walked me through multiple dry canine food options to find the most comparable to our current brand with a comparable price point. With the frequent coupons I receive as a member we are seeing a very significant savings. I love using the self service wash stations and the quality soaps they have are perfect for my mutt. This place was nice. We were intrigued by the pet costumes. They have nice seasonal pet clothes at the front of the store. I like that the small clothes are actually small and can fit James! Changing my review.I have bought several fish from this whack place, and three have died.I bought a fishnet because they only had one size when they finally did get the right one, I was unable to exchange it. DONT BUY FISH FROM HERE,THEY WILL DIE PAST THE 14DAYS OR BEFORE. THIS PLACE IS A NEIGHBORHOOD RIP OFF PURE AND SIMPLE.

Fantastic selection and great people. I have been in multiple times and every time I have been greeted as I enter and asked if I need assistance. They carry the specialized food for my dogs that I have not been able to find anywhere else. Special thanks to Bob for helping me load the bags into my car. I will be back.

Kayla does not listen to our directions for grooming our dog, she looked horrible after her groom, it was like she used incorrect grooming sheers on our baby. The long fur on her head is now in her eyes, the growth of her body fur is undergroomed. We are making another appt less than 1 month for a caring groomer.

We love this pet shop. We drive 20 minutes past four other pet shops to get here. The selection is the best in the area, the prices are great, and the people are the best. They have so many brands of good pet food, a great selection of pet toys and grooming materials. They have a loyalty program and the employees are so nice. I highly recommend this place over somewhere like Petsmart or Petco. I feel like I got quality items without overpaying. Especially their dog toys!

Grooming experience in this store was great. Staffs are amazing and took really good care of my dog. My dog was little matted. Staffs worked hard to dematt his fur and gave him a really good haircut. I also use their self-wash service frequently and the store is my first choice for dog treats and food

We found a stray dog early this morning and brought it into this store to get a collar, instead we got collar, treats, a free wash and amazing customer service from the owner. We felt like there were people all around to help when we are lost! Great business model, small stores are the way to go.

An abundance of supplies, friendly staff, competitive prices. Recently used their self service dog wash, good stuff. Cheaper than local one down the road. They have 4 shampoo options and hypoallergenic one too. I brought my own stuff cuz my dog is bougie. He seems content the bath is over.

I’ve gone there 3 times now to have my little guy groomed. He hasn’t had the same groomer but all have done an excellent job. Very friendly staff and always easy to schedule appointments.
