Worst customers service experienced in Winnipeg Manitoba at the Corydon location. Went in with my service dog for dog wash and food, then was negatively berated as soon as I walked into the store. The rude male staff member judged us on why I needed to wash my wet dog in 35 ° heat, screamed at us when I took my mask down to smell soap for one second, eve when I was asking questions about to other staff member he took upon himself to yell at my across the store. When I called to store manager to explain how upset and visible discriminated I felt and don't feel safe entering the store with my service dog..all I was told is there are "2" sides of the story. I wonder if the staff felt as abused verbally. Clearly this store owner has zero compassion and cares less for customer service. Therefore no longer will I choose to shop or wash my dog in this location, if that's the attitude during a heat wave, where I understand tempers flare. That's still no reason to scream and judge a paying customer when they enter a store..maybe they should focus more on training the ignorant staff and less on telling me that there is a mask law in affect, as the province of Manitoba lifted it the next day.

Great place to shop for your pet. They have a good variety of products, regardless if you have a cat(s) or dog(s) or other types of pets. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have convenient locations throughout the city. Their dog wash are very luxurious, with large brown stone tile which are raised up to make washing, shampooing and drying easier. There are stairs for your pet to walk up and be guided into the tub. The tub easily accommodates both of our Irish Wolfhounds (one at a time), though our local Pet Valu does have to washing stations. Due to current COVID restrictions, to maintain proper social distancing only one is use at this time.

Used to go here for many years. It does have a great product selection. Unfortunately the staff are so petrified of covid that they are not helpful, one employee backed away so far from me as I was trying to get help with something, that I've just made the decision that this isn't the place I want to give my business to. If you are someone who is not petrified about covid, do not even bother going in. It's uncomfortable how fearful the staff is. I used to go to this location ever since they opened and won't be going back. I'll try a different Pet Valu location going forward.

I just want to acknowledge the great service I get from this location and the one on Grant. I especially like dealing with this one guy, (he works at both). He is friendly and always has the answers I'm looking for. I have 2 dogs, and he genuinely cares about their well being, often suggesting special foods and treats and going out of his way to figure out alternatives for my senior dog. I will go to either store he is working at just to deal with him. Keep up the great customer service!

No pet supply store is going to be perfect. One chain store will carry the toys that you like while another will have the food and snacks that you prefer. However Pet Value seems to consistently have very good staff. Always cheerful and helpful. And now many of the locations have pet wash stations!

Extensive selection! The lady working here was very helpful, she also gave our puppy treats that she loved! They gave a first time puppy owner discount for getting certain items which was so nice! They have a large selection of pet supplies and at a reasonable price! Would recommend this store.

They only have a 24 hour return policy, even though their receipts and website says otherwise. We tried returning merchandise just over 24 hours and they refused to accept it saying that it's over the 24 hour policy. We called later to confirm if this is the policy and they confirmed.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Much healthier options available for those who read labels of cat and dog foods. Whole foods are an integral component of healthy lives of animals. Thanks to Pet Valu for carrying these healthier options for good prices.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and personable. Good selection but it is a pretty small location. Staff were able to direct me right to what I went in for and held a short conversation which was nice.

Excellent help from one sales person who stopped mopping the floor to offer help. The other two young ladies giggled and gossip at the counter and didn't offer any help.

Horrible service. Completely taking covid 19 safety precautions for granted. Management didn't take these issues seriously. Will not be returning
