We normally don't have any problems at this particular PetSmart. We go there often enough that we know where things are and spend an easy 15 or so minutes getting what we need and leave. When we do need help finding something workers are nice enough and help when they can. This last time however was a little different. We entered the store to a worker telling us to go around a mess, some dog had an "accident". No big deal, it happens. Wouldn't be the first time a dog went to the bathroom in there. The mess was large, brown, and trailing. The dog had to still be walking while making that mess. After we walked in the store a little ways, we noticed It smelled like vomit. We dodged the mess got our items, and tried to get to the cash register, to which another worker told us to watch our steps. There was more vomit that trailed from the back of the cash register towards the other end of the store. We asked the lady what happened and she said there was a "sick dog, trying to get to the banifield hospital." There was vomit from a possible sick dog in a store that allows dogs and puppies to roam the store. We have no idea what kind of sickness this dog had. No idea if it is contagious. While we were in the store the workers made no intention of cleaning the mess, and simply told people to watch their steps(there were other people and a few dogs in there at the time besides us). What really irks me is that they only told us what happened because we asked. They let us go into a store with a sick dog, vomit all over the floor without any warning at all. If they told us there was a sick dog before actually walking into the store, I would have not gone in. I do not want to risk getting my dog sick. There are other stores I can get what I needed. I do not think I will be back. The way that they handled this makes me think that there are chances it will happen again. Please take warning when going into this store, especially with your dog. We washed our clothes, hands, and shoes before touching our dog when we got home. And we are hoping that whatever sickness that this dog had at that store will not be passed to our dog. I'm giving 2 stars, because the employees are very friendly and polite. But this altercation is just unacceptable, and dangerous to everyone and their pets.

I used to go to Petsmart for our two cats and one dog semi-reglularly. We even took out dog to get trained there. The trainer was great and we used to see her there a lot after the training was completed and we'd go shopping there.They don't cost as much as Petco on many things. They have a variety of dog and cat food. We like to get Kong dog toys for our dog there. They have an entire row of dog treats. They have fish, and cats up for adoption. I've been mostly pleased with them for many years. We used to take our dog to get groomed there. The first time she was nervous, but the groomers were good and she calmed down enough for nail grinding. Every time after that she got better and better with it. I would sometimes watch the groomers with her through the big window. She always seemed fine with the groomers. We recently decided to do our dog's nails ourselves to same some money. w We don't use the grooming very often anymore, just once a year for a bath. She seems ok with that too, but we can't watch them bathing her. She seems fine when she comes out though. The only reason I did not give them five stars is because I just had an exceptional experience at another pet store. I think I'm going to switch stores. It made me realize that there were rarely any employees on the floor at Petsmart. I think they used to have more employees. Now I usually only see employees at the front near the registers. There was no one to ask questions about cat food, and I really could have used some help this last time I was there.

Great store great customer service, 50/50 on product Instock and quality. ~My experience and what happened~ I purchased i new 75-120 gal fish tank filter, once I got home and started to set it up I noticed this specific tank filter did not have the filters that I assumed all fish tank filters came with. Upon further inspection it looked as if it was used already and was a returned fish tank filter, when I go to petsmart I usually spend anywhen from $100-$300 so when I became aware that the filter was a second hand filter this really frustrated me, knowing the quality of merchandise and customer service petsmart gives, this was very alarming and upsetting to me! the filter works, but this is not the experience or quality of service I would ever expect from a company of yalls standards. I recently lost a fish due to our electricity going out once the electricity came back on my previous filter burnt out, that was the reason on purchasing this current filter I’m speaking of. once again the filter works, and I had no choice but to install the filter due to my tank not having a running filter for more then 24hours. And the nitrite and nitrate levels where extremely high due to the fish I had for 5+years passing away. (No fault of petsmart) but adds insult to injury with this whole experience.

Extremely dissatisfied. Our dog has gone here for many years. She has always looked great and not had any problems with grooming. Today a new young "salon leader" banned her from ever coming back because she moved around too much, and they were unable to finish cutting her face. However, the banning wasn't even mentioned until my husband asked that the special handling fee be removed. They wanted to charge an extra $10 because she moved around a lot, yet they didn't even finish the hair cut. No one even thought to call us and let us know that she was having a difficult time. Seems to me they should charge LESS, not more for not completing the job. We will be more than happy to take our business to a competent and professional groomer in the future.

Other than having some major problems getting the little canned mealworms, I have been shopping with PetSmart for as long as I can remember them being open. And I have never had any major problems. Any problems that I did have were resolved quickly and easily and efficiently and with appreciation. I don't feel appreciated a lot of places I go to any more customer service is really gone downhill over the last several years. But I always feel welcome there. They greet me when I walk in the door they make sure I'm finding everything or found everything depending on whether I'm at the cash register. But very nice people pretty good selection of supplies.

PetSmart is always a fun place to go to for me. This location was very clean despite there being not only an adoption event, but multiple pets inside. The staff seemed genuinely happy and willing to help. I liked that the cats that were up at the adoption event seemed to have a lot of space to run around it. I never like seeing pets cooped up in small cages. The only thing that I would say was a bad experience was that there was only one cashier, which made the checkout experience a bit long. However, that cashier was very friendly and I applaud her for being able to handle such a rush alone.

The PetSmart off Bryant Irvin rd was ok nothing special they don't go "ubove or beyond anything"I went to Banfield and the way they do appts is really annoying. Apparently they don't see any one before 330pm unless you want to drop your pet off there all day to still pick them up after 4pm. It's really unusual so no matter what I'm always late to work because of this. But the guy who runs the pet hotel was awesome he explained everything with no hesitation and answers any questions. He was the type of personality that needs to show that Banfield a thing or 2.

A great Petsmart; typically has what I need. This last visit they had a few great promotions of buy one get one 50% off on some of their tuff toys a buy one get one 25% off on antlers (which my pup is nuts for!). I was able to pick up two extra large deer antlers, two brand new toys, and a brand new dog bed all for around a hundred dollars. Checking out the weekly ad and coming into the store is worth it! My dog (and my mom's dog, haha) have both been positively thrilled and I saved a decent amount off of stuff I was going to buy for them anyway.

I was in here with my girlfriend, the customer service reps were nice to us and our dog. While that is the case, I think it should be said that the employee working the register had his mask pulled down under his nose. Another employee was stocking shelves and walking around without a mask on at all. I also work customer service, and I know how annoying it can be to wear a mask for 8+ hours a day, but I found it irresponsible for them to require masks for customers, whole not enforcing the rule for employees.

After waiting a week for the appointment the stylist would not cut his fur due to a leg issue. They cut his fur twice prior with no problem. The stylist was very rude. There was another dog there who they kept saying might have cuts on his skin under all his fur and they had no issue doing his cut. That dog didn't even walk the employee was pulling it. I've taken my dog here for sometime but after being treated rude I will not take him again. There are other places who do a great job and treat you better.

From experiences on 7-29-2020. After a horrible experience at the PetCo down the street, I came here. In and out in a few minutes, well taken care of. Oh, and the product was cheaper! I will come here first from now on. If a PetSmart person reads this, thank you for the professional attention and rapid service. You've earned a loyal customer from this day on. Only place in town your dog feels welcome-that's good. Prices are ridiculous. Refrigerated dog food is DOUBLE the price there vs any other store. Dog toys SUPER OVERPRICED as well. However, if you NEED something for your pet, you can find it here. THAT'S what you pay for at PetSmart. Workers are all super kind and helpful, and willing to help. That will put pep in your step and a smile on your face. Added bonus... in these 104 hot summer days- great place to take your dog for an outing!

Would you care to donate to...? Which email would you like to use for...? It is not the employee's fault. Regardless, it has been communicated to me that most communication is non-verbal. So I non-verbally smiled which means that I have decided to never shop with this company again.

Love this store! Everyone has always been so helpful and knowledgeable! I love the huge selection and my dogs love being able to come in and help pick out what they want! I also love being able to try on the collars, clothes and harnesses before purchasing them. Also am happy that when my picky eater dog has decided she did not like food that i have bought there that they take it back no questions asked and helped me to find something else that she may like.

Every time I go in here I tell staff and management how bad the Reptile habitats are. nothing is ever done. Every reptile is kept at 40% humidity. This is animal cruelty. Pythons and Chameleons need at least 80%. I wish I could buy them and rescue but don’t wish to support the process. Please don’t purchase reptiles from here and voice your concerns. I know it’s a small fight but how would you feel being kept in a little dry box with dry skin and no lotion.

BIG issue with the vet here. They vaccinated my dog when 4 months ago he got all of his shots. They never asked permission and did it anyway. He went in for a skin check up and they surprised me that. They never check their emails and lied to me saying, “you never sent anything.” I had proof of this email. It shut them and they removed the vaccines they tried charging me for. Looks like I’m looking for a new vet.

I will never bring any of my dogs back there again, I witness a groomer miss treating the dog cause the dog was moving around and kept sliding off the table. Those tables only fit small dogs not big dogs, groomer looked like she was aggravated, if she can't handle the dog then find another job, too bad the dog didn't bite her I would have loved to see that. I adopted a little dog from a rescue group and immediately brought her to Pet Smart on the way home to pick up the rest of the supplies. They gave me a book with lots of coupons, and the staff helped me greatly in picking out food, leashes, harnesses, and other necessities. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. I was thoroughly pleased with the level of care my pooch and I received.

Went and picked up my dog from the groomers after receiving a call about him being done When I picked him up I noticed that his whiskers had been shaved off and he was not cut properly and it was very uneven. Now I'm a fair person but this has to be a joke I've seen it all but I've never seen a groomer do this how is this cut!!!! Come on now really the photos explain it all

I come here when our regular place has no appointments, it’s a good quick hair cut or bath when you need it done same day. Staff is nice, and they do a good grooming job. Took our dog for one of the obedience classes. They are good if you’re a first time dog owner. She learned a couple of things like sit and stay, and we got a few good tips since we were first time owners.

My family and I came to get a few fish at 6:40pm. We always get our aquarium stuff here. Jermal said that they could not get us any fish because he couldn’t leave the register and the other worker was doing her closing duties. He then argued with me that they wanted to get out of there in 30 minutes so she couldn’t stop her duties. Very unprofessional. We will not be back.

Im a fish hobbyist and to see what i saw in this store in Burleson was heart breaking. So many fish dead or gasping for air due to no surface agitation. Worker highly inexperienced. Asked for a manager to see why the fish are all dead in certain tanks and the reply was well they are fish and sometimes they die... WOW!!! GOOD FOR ANYTHING ELSE. BUT DEFINITELY NOT FISH.

We take our Fur friend to get groomed here and Jocelyn does a great job. I am sure that the whole team in grooming does great but jocelyn is awesome! Her work speaks for its self but she has a relationship with our pup. The clerks up front the store are also very courteous and give great customer service. Thank you to our local pet smart!!

I have taken my dog here twice and never again. Both times I have come for a nail trim. Both times I have picked him up it looks like barley anything happened. They also told me my dog is aggressive and has a bite history even though I have never been informed of that before the second appointment. They man handled him and made him anxious

If you love your animal, learn to cut the nails. Yourself, what hurts me more. Was seeing my dog, with his mouth wrapped closed. It was the energy put off by the groomer, I took him home. Only went to get dog food, nothing fun about watching your dog child shake. Scared, on a side note. The staff are very helpful, just not the groomers

Told me to come in early without telling me my dog was going to be in a kennel for 4 hours before her appointment. The point of my call was to get her in early since I was up early. Not go there just to be told she would have to wait till her grooming appointment. Terrible communication and business ethics from these groomers.

Whoever the lady was that was working the fish area was amazing. My 3 year old daughter has been asking for a fish and has never owned a pet before. She was kind and helped us get everything we needed for a fun Betta setup. My only regret was missing her name. Also, they had fish which was a step up from the other Petsmart.

If you tell a customer you have to wait 48 hours before you can bring your dog in to get groomed, after getting shots, We tell you we’re getting her shots at 2:30pm Wednesday, you rescheduled us at 9:45am Friday in the system, but tells 3:00pm to get here, and now she can get groomed till Monday! I usually don't buy anything here but my kids love visiting and looking at the animals. I love that their adoption fees for cats is only $10 and we're considering adopting one from them. Petco charges $75 making it difficult for the poor fur babies to be adopted. Store is always clean and organized

The live pets that were for sale were all in clean environments and looked healthy. They had a large display of animals for sale. The aquariums we're also clean and looked healthy. I browsed the fish tanks that were available and was amazed. There were some very unique aquariums.
