Used off the shelf tropical flakes which discoloured my tank and killed several fish, when I took the food back and explained what had happened the sales assistant didn't know and had to go out the back to discuss the problem with a more knowledgable colleague, when the young lady returned she said her colleague had heard of people having similar problems and implied I had been over feeding( I have had a tropical tank for over 10 years and have never had the tank discolour in less then 8 hours like with this food),she then dropped the bag on the ground which went everywhere and offered me back what was left in the bag, I told her she could keep it as I don't see what I can do with fish food that discolours my tank and kills my fish, then when I went to pay for new food (as they would not offer me a replacement or refund) the sales assistant said that the more expensive food is often better however when I bought THEIR brand I was told it was just as good, which is it guys?? Poor service and poor product.

This is my go-to store for my fishs' needs. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the various products and fish they stock. There's a good selection of products for dogs to reptiles. Though it's not the cheapest place the quality of the product and service makes up for it. One of the filters I'd received from them previously was faulty but they were happy to give me a refund/replacement. Even if you don't aim to buy anything in particular, it's a treat to look around in. They also have cats for adoption, and dogs are allowed inside on a leash. It's simply pleasant and a relaxing environment.

We went in today as I wanted to know more about stick insects as pets because my son has shown a great interest and from research they seemed a great starter pet for children who are interested in something unusual. Ebony, was a world of information. Answered all my questions with passion, excitement and knowledge. She made us feel confident with our decision to pursue stick insects as pets and have us confidence. She let us know when she usually works and said we can come in any time to get advice when needed! Ebony was fantastic!

I've been here a few times now and each time was a good experience. The store itself is huge inside giving people ample room to wander and shop as well as giving the store itself a lot of space for stock. Prices are good and there is a good range of products to choose from. Staff is friendly always and willing to help at any point. Only downside would be the parking which can't really be helped as it's in-between two stores

As a big company petbarn would have amazing buying power but there prices are usually more expensive than local owned companies. In my experience they are understaffed and its usually not easy getting assistance of a staff member. It makes no sense that smaller pet supply companies have cheaper prices and more staff and points to a greedy management thats after a greater profit margin.

This shop would usually receive a 5* from myself..however I was charged $10 over the shelf price..and refunded only $7 of the $10..and even if my pockets weren't picked there was no sign of this amazing 30% off clearance...should I be really realy angry.. Nope! I say forgive & definitely forget ..also beware much less toleration from the public

I Love petbarn It's my go to for all my puppies needs! Has the large breed puppy food I want that I can't get anywhere else. Staff are always very friendly, and theres a huge variety. I normally order online, and use click and collect. My order is always packed and ready in no time. Thanks heaps petbarn!

I'm still in shock from the price that they charge for bully chew sticks for dogs. A 45 gram piece of dried beef off cut (I'd assume, but the price begs to differ) selling for $19.99 Over $400 FOR A DOG TREAT! You should be forced to show the price per 100ml of EVERY PRODUCT! Just like supermarkets!

Knowledgeable friendly staff, clean tidy premises, water bowls on site for your furry friend to have a drink. The only downsides are that they constantly run out of stock in some brands, and that unless they are having a special, they aren't competitive with other businesses like animal tuckerbox

Great selection of products and the staff are very friendly. The loyalty program is a great way to make the products competively priced in comparison to other stores but obviously you have to be loyal to the petbarn brand to enjoy that lower price. Cute kittens are in store at present as well.

Disappointed. We bought 4 fise from petbarn. when we got home (20mins), one died and one has only 1 eye. if u wanna buying fish there u need to be very careful as they may sell sick fish. also be careful with their cat dry food. my cat kept vomiting once having their dry food.

Fantastic service and range at PB Rosny. I came to purchase grooming tools (as a novice) for my long-haired rabbit and 2 rabbit savvy team members took their time to help me find the right tools for the job. Thank you for taking the time and effort with me.

Didn't like sales person. . She gave me lots of advice about what to do and the things i chose for my grandaughter. It was her first time getting fish and we chose to see if she can care for them and then move up to better tank and fish.

The lady staff member was amazing showing me how to use a fish tank gravel cleaner in store, she has also given great advice on general information on keeping a betta fish, good service very friendly …

Wanted (3) Fresh Aquarium plants but was told I had to buy (3) of the same plants but wanted different ones were special but (3) @$7.25 each instead of full price not happy went elsewhere.

Wasn't any choice in chook food - no chick starter. Staff didn't appear very knowledgeable. Gave me a half random story on goldfish in bowls...
