I went to this location to get a health checkup and vaccinations for my Uncle's Dog, that he is unfortunately no longer able to take care of. They were very courteous, quick and efficient. All of the staff was very helpful, they didn't even blink an eye, when the poor girl let loose. It was almost funny that nobody said anything while is was happening during check in. Until I turned around to see 2 HUGE PILES and 1 HUGE PUDDLE. I should have taken her for a walk before coming in, I guess that can only get chalked up to, I typically take care of my cats. We got the Gold Package which includes quite a few items like shots, and tests for only $65, while other places charge $150 and far reaching upwards beyond that. I was also able to get Flea, Tick and other prevention medication while there a well. That was reasonably priced as well. I got there about 1 on a Friday afternoon and was out by 3. There were about 5 people there when I arrived and by the time I left they were quite a few more. But they have several rooms and it all seems to move quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be back for future visits.

They are very easy to work with and the techs and doctors are very good with the animals. The prices are very reasonable and they have discounts if you get six month or full year supplies. You can go in without your animal in the morning to get on their list for the day as they are first come first serve. And then they'll call you later when they are getting close to ready for you. So you only need to bring your pet at that point. So a quick five minutes in the morning and then bring the dog or cat in the car later that afternoon. That was way easier on me as my dog is a handful and my cat hates car rides. So one trip and then when you do get there you go right into the appointment room and don't have to wait in the lobby with your pet. They don't do every kind of service, but they do all the basics and common things. Only ever had to take one of my dogs to a different vet one time to get her weird skin condition/ allergy figured out (which cost a fortune and made me miss the prices at this place). Otherwise it's been both dogs and both cats at this vet for a few years now and we are happy.

I have two senior fur babies that need teeth cleaning badly. I check around and the price for cleaning is very expensive. I found this clinic on a website for discount vet. I called them up and and they told me $150 for the teeth cleaning additional $50 for extraction and $9 for the office visit. However, the appointment for the teeth cleaning was 5 months out. I went ahead and made the appointment anyway. The day before the appointment, I got a reminder call with instruction to not feed the babies after midnight and the time to drop of the dogs. When I got there at 10, the tech that received the dogs was very friendly. He assured me the fur babies would be taken care of and they will call me when the vet was done. At 2:30 they were done with the babies. When I went to pick them up. The bills included antibiotics and pain medications. The fur babies still look dazed but we're ok. Will definitely use and recommend this vet to friends and family. Great service and their prices is very very cheap compare to other places.

Wow! What a great experience. I took my dog in for an ear infection. I normally take him to TLC in Spring because I used to live in Magnolia, I'm now in Houston. Anyway, the staff at Pet Express are amazing. They are very patient, knowledgeable and kind. The medication needed was there. My dog liked the Doctor (Gordon) and the Vet Techs very much. I think TLC staff is nice but the staff at this place are even nicer. Despite the name "Express", if you are in a big hurry, you will probably be disappointed. I did not mind the wait because when it was our turn they spent alot of time and were very thorough with explaining things and gave great instructions on how to administer medications to my sick buddy. I am so glad I tried them and will most definitely be back. The prices were reasonable. Most importantly to myself and my best friend(my pooch), they genuinely seem to care. I highly recommend them. 3 thumbs up!!!

I really hate to give them anything less than five because they are awesome. That said, as a pet owner I know how frustrating a non responsive office can be especially for critical things. Been going to them for years and the staff here is great. They're super nice. The prices are affordable. All of this means that they are ALWAYS overloaded or slammed. You have to get in line really really early to get helped. They do not do appointments, walk in only which means if you have a normal job you have to have an entirely open morning or more. They also will not pick up their phones or answer emails. If you need a vet and you're in a financial bind, this is the place for you... But as great as their staff is and vets, I would recommend establishing a more sustainable relationship with a more responsive vet office. The Holcombe office is the same in most regards. Gluck.

I've had all my pets going to a more expensive vet clinic for years and used this one for the first time on Friday. I read the reviews so knew to arrive before opening time and I ended up being number 13. I wasn't surprised and really appreciated that they let you leave after signing in and giving the pet info. They gave me a call to let me know my slot was coming up in 15/20 minutes so my pets didn't have to sit there all that time. Not having an appointment required more effort on my part but the saving was definitely worth it! I brought in two pets for vaccines, an exam, and an allergy shot and left there paying half of what I would've at the other place. Not only that, but Gordon was awesome with my pups and the girls at the front were very pleasant despite the very busy office and ringing phones. The service and price were great and worth the extra time!

We just love this place. We have 2 small dogs and go to the vet can be so expensive, not here. One of my dogs needed a dental cleaning with some extractions, the cost for that is just $200 with all the extractions that she needed, that’s cheap!!! Last year we didn’t this place and we paid like $350 for dental cleaning and 1 extraction because they charge you $50 PER EXTRACTION plus that this place did a way better job, her teeths were perfect after the cleaning, something that didn’t happen a year ago at the other vet. Plus that the staff is soooo nice and professional, they just know what they are doing so well for a incredibly price. They only thing that you have to paid attention is that they are FULL all the time and mostly you can’t make a reservation, just for a few thing . So you go and you have to wait but believe me! It is more than worthy it.

Ive been here twice. The first time I was there about an hour and a half. Ive noticed people in the lobby waiting that were there before me, and I still left before them. Paid for a nail clipping in addition to my puppy shots. Her nails came back looking the exact same. I thought I was just crazy, so I gave them another chance. The second time I arrived at 2:50pm and left at 5:50pm. The other reviews are true about how you will see people come in after you and have their pets seen before you. Takes too long to be seen. Paid for my puppy nails to be clipped and she came back looking the exact same again. So never again will I come here and waste hours of my life.

They took care of my kitten Mezcal since I got him at 1 month old, up until now that he is 7 months. They took care of all the vaccines, micro chipping, and treatment for parasites. Great prices for all the services. I know there are some mobile stations that can be cheaper but you have to adapt and kind of chase them, this people are always open. Because of their prices usually there’s a lot of people so expect to wait a lot specifically in peak hours during weekends. My cat is not a kitten anymore but he is healthy and happy, always had them took care of him. Just recently took him to SNAP for a neuter appointment because this guys don’t offer these services.

Been to north location only a couple times and each time I left. Went for a simple rabies vaccine and was told the wait was over 2 hrs even with only 4 dogs in the lobby. They told me I could leave and come back later. I live 40 minutes away so no way. Holcombe location has always been great, but lately is going down. If you call and ask the current wait time they will tell you but when you drive clear across town they tell you they are not taking any more dogs for the day? It was 1 pm, and they close at 6? Vaccines don't need a full Dr visit for established dogs so the techs should be able to take them for a quick shot in between other dogs.

I've been taking my lil fur baby Gucci to Petcare Express on 290 since June of last year. Their prices are very reasonable but the care is excellent. You can tell they really love animals and care about your pet's well-being. I haven't had a bad or unreasonable experience with them. They do get very busy, so it's hard to get them on the phone at certain times as expected. It's a small business, so some delays happen. Get in line early to get in, or you'll be in there waiting all day. Lots of people love this location. It's always clean when I've gone and the staff is really nice.

I absolutely love this place! The wait time is worth it- I feel I get far more for what I pay there and it makes truly caring for my dog an affordable option- even the unplanned health issues don’t require the sale of an organ- I so appreciate the care my dog (and I!!) receive! The staff is amazing (with a special shout out to Gordon! He was very patient with all my questions, of which were answered with knowledge and kindness. Just an awesome place and much needed! This place was a godsend. I was frantic wondering how I could get my dog the dental care she needed during an uncertain financial period of my life. I found Petcare Express. I was a little nervous but was wonderfully surprised when I arrived and saw a orderly line, patient customers and a warm group of staff. My baby was well taken care of. Everyone was great, but special thanks to the young lady with the green hair who was so sweet throughout. I am grateful Petcare is there for the community.

Took my dog there for vaccines, not even sure if they gave them to her because they take your pet back and don't let you go. Also, something was going on with my dogs skin and it was plainly obvious. They insisted that nothing was wrong, however, they had no idea what they were talking about as I had her diagnosed with another vet. Also, no safety precautions for Covid or any other sickness, ie; the flu. Unfortunately,I would not recommend this place, nor will I be returning.

Incredible and professional service, they care so much about the dogs it’s not only about a business which other vets mostly do, don’t expect to be attended immediately if you are going please be patient and empathize with the labor they are doing, I didn’t wait at all I made my appointment and everything went smoothly and great for my dog. Well this place is way to popular. It's the only affordable pet vet in the inner loop area. So plan on waiting three plus hours on a average day. There so busy there it takes them way to long to do anything. I just got shots and medicine. I ordered the medicine ten days earlier that month but went in to see what was going on. They also don't have time to pick up the phone. It wasn't that bad a year ago or so. This is just the new reality now and it sucks.

i really like the front desk lady with short black hair her name is ruth shes really nice and has a lot of patience for everybody she deserves everything good in the world including to be treated with respect. the amount of shenanigans she has to put up with apart from recently losing one of her beloved dogs and still coming into work it makes me believe she is one of the emotionally strongest people i have ever met. 10/10 deserves a raise

I love how this clinic treated my kitten! They were so sweet and amazing with him. They took the time to properly examine my baby and gave him lots of pets. My fur baby felt so comfortable with the dr and the vet techs. With the medication I was given for my cat Misty, he got better in a couple days, unlike other clinics I’ve taken him and the medication doesn’t help. Highly recommend this clinic and their staff! Amazing experience.

I lost the paper with all of their names but every single person here is amazing! They treat you like family, they love your pet like it's their own each and every pet that came through the door received the same love! My daddy was sick and I didn't know what to do low on cash because I just moved here and started my job and they brought my baby back to life thank you very much you guys are a blessing! I come from a good distance away to go here because they are a fraction of the price of anywhere else, & with the cheap price does not come Shawty service. everyone I've had to deal with throu the years has been amazing my friends family & I will continue using this place & recommending it to everyone with a pet that I know or see the one complaint is the wait times can be long but definitely not a deal breaker

Highly recommend Dr. Chiang. He was super nice and friendly; he made me feel very comfortable in this clinica environment. One thing I really liked about him is that he alsways provided me with options and explained the rationales behind them. Many vets don't do it. Also, the price in Petcare Express is pretty descent! I would recommend this Doctor to anyone with pets.

Very busy, needs to arrive an hour early before it opens. Honor system of first to last in line. Inexpensive to see Vet but extra cost depends on the Medication needed. Reasonable otherwise. Only cost me 9 to see the vet and only 9 to have my dog's nails clipped. The Vet and staff are professional and really seem to care about your animal which is a plus in my book.

Love the service !!! Took my furbaby for his shots and he was in and out !!! When i arrived it had the line forming already but they moved pretty fast !!! Staff was very welcoming and friendly !the lady at the fordt desk was not having a good day i can tell she was crying hope she feels better!! Although she was still very welcoming! Amazing low price and great staff that are always more than willing to help with your pets care from administering medication, educate you on how to best care for your pet, and provide exceptional care to your pet! Although it is first come first serve, if you get in line before open, then you wont find yourself waiting for hours on visit/treatment.

It good place to bring your pet for affordable prices the only down side there is a very long wait times. As long as you have the time and the patience to wait it is all worth it. They also give plans/packets for you depending on what your pet is needing. Plus for being a very busy clinic the staff is very friendly and efficient at their job. :)

The vet and staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and efficient. It is a walk-in clinic (except for cleaning teeth), so be prepared to wait a while. You will be well attended once they get to you, and their prices are less than other places. Once checking in in person, you can wait in your car or go driving around the neighborhood.

Dr is excellent but today I have been trying to reach office for 45 minutes and a lady put me on hold and then hang up now they don’t answer. This is insane. I need answers as far as medication. They are wonderful. They have taken great care of my dog over the years. I definitely recommend them. Recently, my wonderful dog Yazzi had to be put down due to her age. The staff at Petcare Express were very compassionate and kind to Yazzi during the process and it was quick and painless. Thank you Petcare Express staff.

Took my dog there for a couple dental extractions. Had to walk in and make the appointment a month or so in advance. The ladies were prompt for my appointment and most importantly extremely nice and gentle with my dog. Even after the procedure. Would highly recommend this place for nice, fast, and affordable vet visits.

My dog needed a cleaning badly. This place was a fraction of the other places. And I never felt like I was getting budget services. I felt that they cared for my dog throughout the process and the results for my pup have been amazing. I will definitely recommend this places to others for general vet services.

The wait can be long but the veterinarian was very caring and informative on my mom's dog's vist. The staff was also very patient and helpful. My brother and my aunt also take thier dogs here too. Highly recommend if you need a vet for the basics for your animals health.

I’ve been to the Holcomb and 43rd locations. The visit was $9 very cheap, great for annual checkup and routine care. Because it’s a walk-in vet, there can be a wait time from 1-3 hours before you’re seen. The cheap visit cost is worth the potential wait.

These guys are so nice! I have used them for my cats and dogs, and it's very affordable. If you are not one of the first there, you have to make an appointment, and then return with your pet. They call you when they are ready for you, so no wasted time.

14 and 16 years old brought both my dogs here for a dental cleaning and extraction with my small dog. Came in to drop them off they checked them out gave the okay then gave me a rough estimate of what it would cost and I was very happy with
