Poor ADA compliance and cart policy. The aisles are not wide enough to wheel anything through. The carts have a pole ziptied to them for theft prevention that makes it impossible for anyone with a disability to take them out of the store. Employees all make sure to tell you this but it's not helpful and shows a big bias to the neighborhood the store is in. The Fred Meyer doesn't have poles on their carts and it shares the same plaza. Every other Petxo in the Portland Metro and surrounding area has wheel locks on their carts for anti theft. Management needs to do better!

went in to find something that is on the store website- it's a medicine for kennel cough to help alleviate symptoms. three women who worked there patronized me and made me feel so judged and acted like i was dumb for asking for that product and followed me to the register telling me i need to bring my dog to the vet (i already have).. never felt so judged and chased out of a store before. will only be going to petsmart from now on

**No live animals or frozen feeder mice** so I just go here for superworms. Anna and Tyler were super friendly and helpful :) They used gender neutral pronouns for everyone, which is always awesome to hear. I wish they had more turnover with the feeder insects so there weren't so many already dead ones, but that's not the fault of anyone affected by this review so five stars anyway!

The one staff member I regularly see is nice, however this location is ALWAYS super understaffed. Im here at 6pm on a Wednesday and there's literally only two employees. Staff's words, not mine. I've been standing here for ages waiting for a feeder and these two guys are just swamped. Almost better to just drive out to Gresham instead half the time...

Got the dogs shots! Went great. Petco staff were awesome with our pups. From start to finish they were very good handlers. Especially during a shot session. The girl giving the shots was as good as I've seen anywhere! Quick, and easy. They weren't even nervous about seeing both dogs together. I'll definitely be going back!

I was the only customer in the store that was treated like a thief. I just figure you have to treat everybody like a thief if you're going to do that not single out certain people when you don't know who they are or anything about them at all. You're just judging their appearance or whatever it is you're judging.

After hiking at Gorge (WA side), my puppy got a lot of ticks. I and my friend checked my puppy's body all over, took out more than 20 ticks. Then I stopped by Petco on the way to return to my home. I got tick twizler, tick &flea shampoo, comb for tick/flea. I got them all I need. It helped after I went back home!

Amazing grooming experience with Hazel! My doodle was a matted mess and recovering from a really bad haircut from another groomer when I brought him in. Archie came out looking like a stud! Definitely recommend Hazel for doodle grooming (and I’m sure all other types of dogs)!!

The employee named Chris is AWESOME! He is one of the most invested, caring, fun, kind, and thoughtful customer service people I have ever had! This location is always good. Great staff and clean store with good vibes--but special praise for Chris!

I was told I can’t bring my pup here because he was at their office for 5 hours. Well his hair cut took over 3 hours. I got a text at the 4 hour mark and it takes me about 45 min to get to the office. The policy makes no sense. Very disappointed.

Came to return something that just didn’t work and everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Crystal at the front desk. The staff was dealing with theft issues while also affective my assisting everyone else. Appreciate their help so much!

Grooming appointment for our 12lb dog - the store did great; exactly what we hoped for. Marvin came back nice and clean. The shop was easy to find (they have their own door or you can enter through Petco) and he was done in less than 2 hours.

Store was an absolute mess. Most of their end caps were just piles of discarded product. They were out of most food, toys, etc. on the shelves… either this place is closing down or Petco doesn’t know how to run their stores.

Great location and great staff. Stock is pretty random. Never really had what I need exactly because it is a smaller Petco. Recommend ordering ahead to make sure they have what you need.

Had a great experience with training with Sara! Look forward to going back for more. All staff have been friendly, accommodating, and professional.

Website has been out of date forever. They will randomly accept walk-in nail trims, other times not, but will NEVER answer their phones.

Found harness we wanted. Out of stock on matching collar and water flask. Clerk was nice enough to check in back for us.

The store was well stocked,clean and I did not have to wait long to get checked out
