I didn't actually go to the appointment set for my little dog when I thought he had problems with his ears, but was worried there was something wrong with them, his insurance had lapsed while I was in hospital but thought I had to take him, I rang the vets very upset about his little ears and about his insurance being renewed, the woman on the phone told me because I thought they could be tumours or something like it, (after speaking with the dog home I got him from it turned out he'd always had these.) She said his insurance wouldn't cover him. Seeing as this turned out to be something he has always had and has never affected him, this woman writing on his file that he has suspected tumours in his ears, now means that God forbid he ever does get tumours in his ears "or something like it" his insurance will never ever cover this. I was very upset when she said this and after speaking with friends that are insurers and acquaintances that are vets it turns out until this was properly diagnosed by a vet this should never have been put on his file, everyone else I have spoken to has agreed. Completely unprofessional. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE - Thank you for you reply, but the woman I spoke to on the phone said because I had said this is what I thought it was that was what she had written on his file and so if this was to ever happen in the future even if it wasn't the issue now, he wouldn't be covered. I understand insurance I don't need to be talked through options, he was insured that same day, the fact of the matter is she said she'd wrote something on his file that would be seen by every vet hes ever treated by and if a problem with his ears would arise it would not be covered. She could tell I was very upset but still felt the need to let me know he would never be covered for ear issues related to tumours or otherwise even though it turns out that was never what it was anyway. This woman is not a vet, not a nurse so who was she to say this. Quite frankly, I'm still absolutely livid about it which is why I haven't been in to you to personally complain because I don't want to lose my temper in front of a waiting room full of your clients and their pets. That is what the woman said, there was no miscommunication at all, she made it perfectly clear. She needs to be trained properly before scaring off more customers because I will never bring my little Bob into your vets because of this.

I can't recommend these guys enough. in the last 9 months I had to visit them quite a few times with my 14.5 years young Frenchie. In the end we had to do what was best for him and let him gain his angel wings but throughout this time the whole team were friendly, caring, loving to pooch and in the end so sympathetic & considerate to me & my partner (there were alot of tears!!). I just want to say a huge thank you to you all. I know it couldn't have been easy for you guys going between 2 surgeries during lockdown and through the whole of this covid period. I can't thank you all enough and all I can say is keep up the good work and you should all be super proud of yourselves xxxxxx

Our vet seemed more concerned about the money we could spend than the wellbeing of our cat. After wanting general anaestetic for a more thorough examination she prescribed painkillers. The receptionist sold me the wrong bottle (for dogs). On returning the next day to fix this, the swap was for a bottle half the amount medication and cost us an extra £10. They showed me online the same bottle cost £9 and I was charged £32. The receptionist said this was due VAT!!! And the vet said it is the supplier which charges this much more... Absolute non-sense, we'll never go back.

What a Brilliant Veterinary Surgery.... We can't thank them enough for their love, care and professional attention with our darling doggie Bella. We had to have a home visit on this occasion and the fantastic vet was literally at our house in 10 minutes ! Also using this surgery for our other doggie who has visited the surgery, finally found our family vet - the doggies seem to love them too. Big thanks also to Vicky for being so kind and considerate and spending much time on the phone with me when I was upset ! Thank you Petwell & Team.

Not at all helpful with a lost dog. I just needed the dog scanned to see if it had a microchip. I was told to ring back the following day, because I would need to make an appointment, and would have to pay for the service! I went to Pets at Home Vets, in Feltham, instead who did it for free instantly, and gave me the non-registered chip number, which helped me track down it's owner. Not at all impressed with Petwell House Vets. Even Willett House Vets, in Feltham were more helpful over the phone, than Petwell!

Been a very loyal customer for 21 years, dogs/cats have been looked after very well. Recently, not sure related to management but their fees have gone up without any notifications. Every 4 months our dog goes in to be groomed this time we were charged almost double the price, gave us excuses about policy changes not telling us beforehand only after she was groomed. We have decided to take our business somewhere else. So disappointing.

the staff here are really nice but if you’re thinking about taking a rabbit here i would advise not to, i don’t think they have the education necessary to treat rabbits. i understand that they may have tried their best with the education they had to care for my rabbit but he still didn’t make it. i advise going to a rabbit specialist or somewhere with more experience

Was trying to call all branches on Xmas eve day, no one picked the phone. Emergency number was switched off. On another occasion turned up at Feltham branch on Saturday to get some advice - was closed even though opening hours stated they should be open. Another couple in the car waiting as well as they were sent down there from another branch. Not really reliable

The place is really easy to miss, there is some street parking available right outside. However, if you come at a really busy time then you might have to go into the residential street parking (unsure of restrictions). The staff and vet are really kind and informative especially as first time dog owners and also accept most insurers.

Upon contacting Petwell House - Feltham, Harvey and the Vet were both highly professional and went out of their way to ensure my cat received an appointment, was diagnosed and provided with treatment as well as aftercare advice. As always the Receptionist and the Vet were also very friendly and inspire confidence for pet owners.

I had to rush my pregnant cat to the Feltham branch. From arrival the young lady on the desk, Amy, was welcoming and professional. We waited no time at all to see vet David who was very reassuring and professional. He treated our cat with care and helped calm us humans. Cant thank them enough. The Zanchettas and Mellie

Really pleased with the treatment my cat got. She wasn’t great after delivering her litter of gorgeous kittens. I called up on Friday morning and was offered an appointment within two hours. Thankfully my cat has made a full recovery and the kittens are doing amazingly well. Thanks to the wonderful staff.

Once again, had to take my puppy in after being bitten in the park and we were both comforted and she was looked after right away. She loves going there because she gets a lovely fuss made of her and they are quick and professional as well aa caring. STILL wouldn't take her anywhere else!!

I can't express just how great this surgery is. David, Macie and the team have done a wonderful job in caring for my senior Staffy girl Pickle. Always professional and 100% committed to providing genuine care and concern for her welfare. I would recommend Petwell Vets (airman) to anyone.

Amazing staff, fantastic care of the animals and a real understanding of the owners grief and panic. Best vet I have been to in a long time especially the South African gentleman sadly I didn't get his name but he is a wonderful vet. I have recommended to all family and friends …

  • Bow Town

Went there with our pure breed perfect example of a chiwowa boy because he wasn't breathing right, he asked us if he was a Jack Russel! Said every one has gone home so couldn't do an x-ray, took him home and he died an hour later, very professional place avoid like the plaque!!

  • Lindsey Chuter

Just want to say how kind and professional the staff are at this surgery they do such an emotional job at times but they have so much patience and understanding for people who are in an emotional state and they care about the animals they treat

  • Arthur Winston

They saved our dog Missy. Did everything they could to refer us to only charitable surgery in London when all hope was lost. Did all the checks quickly and forced her through surgery in matter of a week. Biggest thanks to the nurse Manisha

  • Michael Slack

Great vets, with friendly service by the veterinarian and receptionist. Appointment time was very close to the time I was seen. The best thing I can say is that I would feel happy trusting the health of my cats to them.

  • Carm Jarvis

I actually can not stress how happy I am I came back to this vets. Vets for pets are a joke compared to here. Chatty kind empathetic. Actually fuss your pets and listen to you!
