My friend suggested this noodle bistro for lunch. It was very busy. It was our first time here . You walk up to the counter to place your order. It was a bit confusing when she asked us how many people? Our other gf has already ordered and was seated, so we said there is three of all together and pointed to our friend already seated. She asked us again how many people? Repeated that there was three of us. She asked us again so we just said 2 right now and we will be sitting with the person at that table. What the heck?! We finally placed our order and joined our friend. We ordered 2 bowls of #6 pho. Our gf ordered salad rolls. Our order came before her salad rolls even though she was there 10 minutes before us. She had to ask if her order was lost. Her salad rolls finally showed up after approximately 15 minutes after we received our pho. The pho was a good size and tasty. My gf's salad rolls also looked tasty. Would go again to try their vermicelli bowl.

For anyone who loves Vietnamese food and wants a clean environment with crisp clean tastes, I would definitely recommend this place. Their high ratings are well deserved. Clean tastes at fair prices in a nice environment. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 stars is because in edmonton, these guys aren’t the absolute best for pho. That’s reserved for Tau Bay downtown. That’s not to knock anything down, I just couldn’t justify 5 stars. I ordered the perfect trifecta. Pho, salad rolls and fried spring rolls. The pho was super clean tasting. Smaller in size than I’m used to. Chilli oil is not an option here. Beans sprouts were already added to the smaller bowl. I d have to say that the pho was pretty good. The salad roll was okay, not excellent. The fried spring rolls were crispy and light but not spectacular. The restaurant serves cafeteria style where you order up from they bring it to you. I was surprised that the credit card machine did not ask for any tip. That was really surprising. I had to scrape some cash to top them after my meal. It was pretty good service.

Absolutely the best pho in the city. Service is prompt and the place is very clean. Staff can be a bit unfriendly at times. Unfortunately I’ve been many times and they are out of soup, literally. It takes a great deal of preparation for pho soup so it’s not something that can be whipped up in a moments notice. I’ve shown up earlier and still half the time it’s the same result…ran out of soup. Couple this with an 8pm closing time and it’s a rare opportunity to enjoy their amazing food. Much of the time they are closed early or only accepting take-out orders. Unfortunately due to their bad business modelling, I cannot give this wonderful shop a much higher rating. I’ve all but given up on this place. After all, what good is great food if it’s inaccessible half the time?

This is the best place in terms of the quality you get for the price you pay for. They charge $10 for a bowl of pho and $12 for a bowl of vermicelli which have to be the cheapest you can find in the city. The cheap price reflects mostly on the service as you order in front before getting a table, a lot of things are self served which I loved because it makes things very efficient for them, and I don't like waiting for a server to do simple tasks for me anyway. This is not a place where you meet up with a friend to catch up. It is mainly just to eat your meal and get out. The quality you get for the price is very reasonable and I quite enjoyed my food (I have tried both their pho and vermicelli bowls). Obviously you can't expect their quality to be as good as the classic popular pho restaurants in the city, but for the price it will do! Another thing I would like to mention is you will get your food in no time! Maybe this is due to the small menu but I love how they run the place.

Went here after a jiu jitsu tournament with some friends from the gym. We were starving after a long day of competition. The place is clean and nicely decorated in a contemporary fashion. Pho Du has cafeteria style ordering with a very small menu displaying a handful of different options for pho, vermicelli bowls and appetizers. The prices were average and the service was friendly and smiley :) My soup came out in a smaller portion to what I'm used to, but had good portions of perfectly cooked noodles, rare beef, chewy tripe and a piece of savory tendon. I asked for chili oil to be added to make the broth spicy and it came out perfectly. I ate the whole thing! As an appetizer, I ordered shrimp spring rolls. I didn't really like the sweet chili sauce they came out with, but the rolls themselves were very nice. No vietnamese coffee :(

This place is amazing. Not only were the staff a friendly delight but the food was top notch. I got the pho with round eye steak in it. It was loaded with thinly sliced rare beef that cooked in the broth as it cooled, an abundance of bean sprouts, green onion, rice noodles and cilantro. Compliemtary bay leaves, chili pepper, lime and a sweet sauce with siracha to add more flavour on the side. The broth was loaded with flavour and so delicious. It cured my cold for the rest of the day. I highly recommend this place to everyone. My partner got the try everything bowl which came with chicken, spring rolls, shrimp skewer and rice noodles. Aside from the shrimp being a bit overcooked he said it was all amazing and very filling. The prices are fair, with a drink, salad rolls, and our main dishes it came up to 32 dollars :)

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place! The lady who took my order was very nice and for $9.55 for a fair sized bowl, you can't beat that! I got the sate pho and it was easily one of the best sate pho I've had. Very warm and spicy but lots of flavor and the beef was very fresh and tender. Best of all, the noodles weren't overcooked! I also loved the condiment table where you could grab fish sauce, salt, soy sauce, and Sriracha as needed. You can't beat the flavor and price and I will be making a habit of coming here. My new go to pho spot!

first time i went here was after my first shift at my first job. it was the perfect place to go after a stressful day. usually get the #7 -Sate Pho , and every time it's the exact same - perfectly portioned, never skimping out on the meat, and the broth is to die for. it's neither too salty or too bland, always a balance of refreshing and filling. the service is great as well, always so polite and when it's not quite as busy they always check in again. it's always very clean, i have never had an issue with cleanliness. overall, this is one of my favourite places to go and i always tell my friends that this is THE place to go for amazing Pho. no where else matches up quite the same. tldr: -great food -good service - always clean

I heard this place had the best priced pho in the city and I think that part is true for per bowl of pho. However, I found the broth didn't have much flavor and they didn't have Vietnamese chili oil to go with my bowl of pho. The order of spring rolls (food court quality) didn't come with fish sauce but thai chili chicken sauce instead. If price is the only consideration this is ok, otherwise probably pass with all the pho options available in the city.

I have been getting Pho here for the last 6 years. I at least have it once a week, if not more. The ladies who run this shop are amazingly friendly, and they always remember my order (they even remember to correct my boyfriend when he gets it wrong when he goes to pick up for me!) they are always very nice to my family, and I have introduced many friends to eating here, and they all love it too. Seriously the best broth ever!! This spot has become essential for me, there is never a time I will say no to stopping in and eating here! I have tried a couple other places, and literally nothing compares to what they serve here!

If I could give it more stars I would. I have been coming here consistently for over 2 years. The prices are amazing and the pho is amazing. I haven't had such good pho since being in rural areas of Vietnam. The more time that passes it is harder and harder to get into. However this is a good problem to have. Shows how amazing everything and everyone is.

It is a fast casual style restaurant, clean and modern with tasteful decor. Salad rolls had basil in them, which I loved. They're on the small side compared to other places, but you get 3 instead of 2, so it works out to probably a bit more. The pho special was delicious, and comes with a small chili. The Bun deluxe was even better, with grilled shrimp skewers and grilled chicken, with spring rolls. Everything was presented beautifully, and the taste matched the presentation. One of my new favourite Vietnamese spots for sure.

Great soup! Very tasty. Good meat to noodle ratio. At our table of 4 our bowls were at first mixed up when they were put down, but then asking the cashier she told us which bowl belonged to each of us. Good garnishes provided, sauces and fresh Thai basil.

As being my first experience. It was great! Staff was polite and friendly. The place was clean and open. I was surprised about the pricing for the portions you recieved. Just in case, this was misread. The portions are big compared to the price you pay. The food was delicious. We also order the lettuce wraps. Its a small menu but don't need more. I will be visiting again. Also don't let the outside fool the appearance of the inside. Coal with a gem inside. No pictures because the food couldn't wait. Vui thích! (Enjoy)

Really enjoy the basics, this restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and has food that's pretty tasty. They allow some menu adjustments, for example, removed the noodles from my phô and added extra bean sprouts, and they're friendly. The style is walk up order at the till, pay and seat yourself in the restaurant. They bring the food when it's ready. It's fresh, good temperature, and reasonable portions for a reasonable price. The menu is not extensive, covers the basics, including tasty appetizer options.

Will preface this review by saying that the pho I had was takeout and so, can't really say much about how piping hot the soup was if it were in restaurant. However, after heating up the broth and noodles at home, can say that the pho here was quite tasty. Could use a bit more noodles but that's really being picky. Hoping to return soon to try other offerings on menu.

I order No.11 beef brisket pho and No.4 Vermicelli all the time from here and their food is always so delicious. Pho broth is so flavorful and delicious and makes me wanna drink the whole soup. Three color vermicelli comes with shrimp, spring rolls, grilled chicken and fresh veggies and it's portion is always satisfying. The best thing is that they sell such wonderful dishes for relatively cheap prices. I am so happy that I found this restaurant and I will definitely recommend it to anyone!

My family and I have been going to this place to eat Pho Du since it opened. The best place ever to eat pho it kinda set the bar for what pho should be! I'd Just like to say to the owner thank you for showing the proper way to eat pho and what to look for on our travels to eat pho. Love how the staff treats my girls as family and know them. My Ky and grand daughter love's seeing Tah?! if thats how you spell her name or say it. The price is very reasonable.

Clean and prompt service. Soup broth was ok, not the best I've had, but I put lots of hoisin and hot sauce in anyway. Husband found his broth very salty (he had the beef balls in his so maybe it is that?). Only had veggie spring rolls which tasted good but were the same price as the shrimp ones. Some of the best pho in Edmonton. Pretty affordable, and you definately get your money's worth out of it. The staff are also super friendly and welcoming. I usually get the number 6 or 8 and they're both absolutely incredible. I recommend the salad rolls, they're delicious and crisp - super tasty. Definately want to try the number 4 one day when I'm really hungry. It's LOADED with food. Love. This. Place.

My caucasian in-laws who has never had Vietnamese food are now hooked on their vermicelli bowl. This is our go to place whenever we are craving for Vietnamese food (in their case, ALWAYS). The food is not only great, but the customer service you get is outstanding! She always remembers our order. The restaurant is always clean (you can tell by how clean their washroom is). Would absolutely recommend!

Ordered the pho special , for the price It equates with the quantity. Broth was flavourful as well. Same quality as any other pho restaurant. Would visit again, finding pho for $10 bucks is hard to locate these days.

Best vermicelli bowl in Edmonton! I first tried this restaurant years ago, and haven't found a better vermicelli bowl anywhere else. Ordered the deluxe vermicelli bowl without prawn (preference) again tonight and loved it. The bowl is very fresh and crisp, and the pork spring rolls are delicious. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are very polite. Great serving size for a good price, too.

the food was okay basing it on the price however the staff gets meaner and meaner whenever we visit. i understand most of them are vietnamese but shouting and rolling their eyes at customers is never acceptable. they act as thou we owe them for our order that we pay for! never going back and will be telling friends.

Come here once or twice a month, service is always great and food is excellent. Staff is very attentive and happy to help in any way they can. They have very good broth and a nice assortment of toppings (they don't rip you off like some places). I recommend coming here for a place to warm up in the winter or on a rainy day. We LOVE Pho Du and go there very often; sometimes, multiple times a week. The environment in Pho Du is modern and bright. The server/manager is so friendly and warm, makes feel welcome every time. While they have a limited the menu, the items we have tried are VERY TASTY! #4 is my favourite and #8 is my daughter's. The salad rolls are delicious too. We just love it there.

This is the best place. Amazing prices. Simple menu, no tip option on the machine. They really can't do any better I'm so impressed by this resturant. And the food is 10/10. A rare gem these days. I wish more restaurants were old-school like this.

The best and most affordable Pho Noodles in town! Very flavourful, superb broth and they serve you with generous toppings. I always order their fresh salad rolls for my starter— really good when dipped in peanut sauce. For the noodles, we always order Pho Du Special and Pho Sate Noodle. They are my top 2! Plus the place is clean. We keep on coming back to this place.

Our family orders take out from Pho Du nearly weekly! Even my adult children like coming home for Vietnamese night! The meal flavours, content and price can’t be beat! All dishes are made in a consistent manner and quickly ready. The restaurant seating is ample and the parking is free.

We have tried Pho at many different restaurants in B.C. and Alberta, but no one makes their broth like this place! You can tell its simmered for a long time yo get that wonderful flavor! The spring rolls and the salad rolls are excellent as well! We come here whenever we are in Edmonton! The best!

This is my girlfriends favourite place for Pho in Edmonton. I think that it's good but the staff make it a great place to go. It always seems to be the same lady at the counter and she's always making funny comments. I've had an amazing pho in Vancouver otherwise I might have given this a 5.

Really love their #4! Ingredients are fresh, tasty and worth the drive. The restaurant is clean and uncluttered with extras, just the great food! I don’t live in the area but manage to make a trip here at least once or twice a month when I have a hankering for delicious Vietnamese cooking.

Fast and friendly service. The food here is AMAZING. It took my friend and I almost half an hour to decide what we wanted because just as we thought we knew what we wanted a server would walk past us to another table with delicious looking and smelling food. I look forward to coming back.

Tied for #1 in the city in my opinion; both have their advantages. This place has the major price advantage because for under $10 you get one hell of a good meal! Definitely my favorite close to home, I'd eat here every day if I could, definitely recommend trying it if you haven't!

First time visit today. One of the best pho we have tried around the north Edmonton area. The price is really reasonable, food has great portion and nice presentation. Restaurant is clean and tidy. Staff is friendly. We will definitely come again (very often lol)

my favorite pho place in Edmonton, and i have tried a lot of different ones. i drive past 4 to get to this one from home. the staff is incredibly friendly, she always greats you with a smile, the restaurant is incredibly clean and a very quiet relaxed atmosphere.

So this place is horrible, you call them and ask what time their open till they say 8 we show up at 630 there as we called then when 15 minutes away we drive all the way there then they say he we have no soup , not even apologize or anything very un professional

The Wait is sometimes long, but has a great price and service! Definitely recommend

Very pleasant staff and friendly. I have been eating here since it's opening and flavours have always been top notch. If you like satay, they have their own homemade brand of this which out does any others I have experienced at other Pho restaurants.

Excellent! They helped us with the menu when we weren’t sure what we wanted and her suggestions were spot on. Tasted like very fresh ingredients and totally hit the spot. I had their dry bowl and highly recommend. Clean and cute restaurant as well.

Wanted to come here many times but all the times I go there’s a huge sign saying they only accept cash and that their machine is down but it’s been like that for weeks. Makes me think they’re doing something shady… Who even carries cash anymore?

Cheap priced pho, you pay what you get for. Worth going back.

This is the best place in Edmonton to get a great bowl of Pho. Order the #7 if you like some spice, with a side of shrimp spring rolls. It's a 30 min drive from my house, but totally worth it as the food is fantastic and the service excellent.

Upon entry you have to order first and pay which I found odd but whatever. Had to explain to the lady about 6 times for meat to be fully cooked. Huge language barrier. Food was good , smaller portion but for $9.95 can’t complain overall 4/5.

The staff is friendly, real stingy on noodles & meat, but very tasty and delicious Pho & pork spring rolls.

For the price, you can't beat the taste or the portions! You order up front from a limited menu but the portions are great for the price. I'd recommend the pho or the vermicelli bowl.

Best Pho I have had in a while. Couldn't believe how affordable the prices still are after all the hikes since COVID. Liked the simle menu with fresh ingredients. Know that it's fresh when you ask for something and they have run out.

The #4 noodle bowl is perfection. Pay up front, $13 for a beautiful, delicious bowl. More stuff than noodle, in giant helpings, with plenty of extra sauces. Clean, quick, scrumptious.

I usually order the special pho because you get a huge bowl for $10. You pay when you order at the front so the service is fast and the workers are friendly. Inside is clean. Would highly recommend for cheap Vietnamese pho.

Always our go to Pho restaurant! The staff is amazing, the pho is even better! The satay is the best I’ve ever had, and the salad rolls are always bomb. We used to go once or twice a week before Covid , it’s priced so well.

Excellent food - love the #4. Service is fantastic - the staff are so friendly. The young lady at the counter makes my day and always remembers what we order, even if we haven't been there in months.

Food was really good. It's the flavor what I was looking for. So sad I'm going back to Calgary tomorrow. Next time will come back here for sure

Writing this review based on only what i tried: Shrimp Spring Rolls -amazing # 7 soup - amazing we drove a long ways to have these two together, service is great , and their not too slow ether .

This spot is consistently great. The food is always delicious and the service is always friendly. I try to come in once a month because I like it so much, and she always knows my exact order.

Limited menu and weird ordering style (I'd prefer if it was like a traditional restaurant) but the food is delicious with great prices.

Love this place! Although the menu is very simple it's great stuff for the price. They don't ask for tips! Also the kitchen is really clean. Completely spotless. Wish these guys the best

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere here. I enjoy the clear menu choices, the clean and cozy area. Highly recommend this restaurant. Prices are incredible for a frugal man like myself.

Wow. The BEST pho I’ve tasted! Worth a try and cherry on top- all their phos are under $10. Often I see phos ranging between $12- $16 but taste mediocre. This is far from convention.
