"Small, relatively unexciting park between the Oval and the River Torrens"
"Green oasis in the heart of the city only a few walking minutes away from Oval, casino and railway station"
"Just finished my first shift at Forage Co"
"Went along to see the "Moon Lantern Trail" at the OzAsia Festival, good free event to spend some time enjoying the lanterns, and find out a little bit about the background info surrounding them"
"Dec 1, 2017 - Jan 28, 2018, a pop up Urban Beach event is taking place here"
Small, relatively unexciting park between the Oval and the River Torrens. It has a nice little rose garden, but otherwise is mainly a turf area with some peaceful views of the river. It’s more important as a historic site, both for the Aboriginal population and the early colonizers. Apparently they hold certain events here, but I wouldn’t make a special trip just to visit this park otherwise.
Green oasis in the heart of the city only a few walking minutes away from Oval, casino and railway station. Adelaide's bbq donut boats, the original BBQ Buoys leave from Pinky Flat for 2hrs self drive adventure cruises on the River Torrens. They host up to 10p per boat. From Pinky Flat it's a 30 min cruise to Frome Road and 15 min cruise to the Weir
Just finished my first shift at Forage Co. at the Royal Croquet Club at Pinky Flat. It's an awesome venue: great food, great wine and great entertainment. Pinky Flat is an awesome place to host the RCC, it's just a shame it's so out of the way. People don't seem to know that it's even there. A little more advertising would make it a perfect venue.
Went along to see the "Moon Lantern Trail" at the OzAsia Festival, good free event to spend some time enjoying the lanterns, and find out a little bit about the background info surrounding them. Best time is obviously after dark when the lanterns come to life.
Dec 1, 2017 - Jan 28, 2018, a pop up Urban Beach event is taking place here. Live DJ, deck chairs, beach volleyball, bars, sand and live events. Really great event for Adelaide. Even has morning yoga classes if you want to book in.
A beautiful part of the main riverbank area and worth the visit if you find yourself in the area. Gardens are well maintained. Photo attached to this review is a view of Pinky Flat from the River Torrens.
A beautiful little park by the Torrens River. Some activities are often held here. Adelaide Oval is next to it. The other side of the river is the most prosperous and lively place in Adelaide.
Indonesian "INDO" Festival was excellent as Usual, the Food was Scrumptious and Clothing stalls superb as usual. Everyone was there to Enjoy the Indonesian Culture and there Hospitality.
Urban beach is gorgeous! It was too hot to sit back and enjoy the beach and the pool there is really only suitable for toddlers. None of the food huts were open for lunch.
This park performed as advertised, quite flat and the roses were indeed pink. Loving the new pond installation, put a water fountain in it and I’ll give it 5 stars.
Lovley place to walk, I frequently pass through here at sunset. Peaceful place most of the time, Spring ducklings, water and grass! What more could you want?
Awesome place for a small festival, great view of the river & city behind it. Easy to get to by public transport, not a great amount of parking available.
We enjoyed the best two hours on the BBQ Bouys and such a unique experience, definitely share this fun with other group of friends. A must do.
It's not really a tourist attraction unless an event is on, but it's somewhere decent to sit on the grass and enjoy your lunch.
Excellent river front picnic and festival events venue. The recent OZ Asia festival - Moon lantern festival was amazing.
Wow!!! This is Fringe everywhere. Loved it. We should have this place open to public each weekend and have performance.
Attractive area both during the day and in the evening when you can see the city lights. Places to eat nearby.
The Urban Beach is great use of space. Food. Drinks. Sand. Pool. Music. Plenty of lounges, seating and tables.
Came here for feast festivals picnic in the park and had loads of fun, great little spot by the river Torrens
Relax and chill on the banks of the Torrens - love the nature so close to the city and great views !
Attended OZ Asia and just loved it. Perfect for family entertainment and plenty of parking around.
Visited the Croquet Club at Pinky Flat for the last night of the fringe - what a beautiful night!
Croquet club is now my top choice of the fringe, great atmosphere with quality entertainment
Lovely park on the Torrens, great views across to the more built up south side of the river.
BBQ Boi's is a good afternoon out, easy to drive around and some nice veiws of the city :-)
If it didn't have an interesting name, it would be a pretty ordinary piece of parkland!
Park along the river Torrens. Family or community entertainment. Adélaïde central
Great location. Lots of grass, shade, look out over the Torrens. Very relaxing.
Not enough places for drop off n pickup found unconscious patient on footpath
