My son recently went to this store at Colonnades to purchase some new Vans Shoes with his hard earned pocket money. We were greeted upon arriving by a very polite and happy lady to serve us. She was amazing from start to finish. I believe her name is Imogen, I hope I have spelt this correctly. She helped my son choose his shoes and treated him with such respect.. The retail industry is a very tough sector to work in, I know, I work in it. There are always people ready to complain about any small thing that annoys them. Imogen is very much a people person and suits this tough industry and deserves to be complimented on her outstanding service. Upon getting my sons shoes home, he found that they did not feel as comfortable as in the shop. I took them back today, only to be greeted again by another friendly staff member, I do not know her name, but very friendly. Imogen had seen me come into the store with the pair of shoes that my son had purchased. She asked if everything was okay? I replied that the shoes seemed to be not fitting correctly. After a brief discussion, Imogen, again with her great service skills made the customer experience a great visit and I left happy once again. Well done to the staff here, especially Imogen.

I came into your store the other day just to have a look and was greeted by Ashley. Im autistic and so she went and turned the music down for me as she could see I was getting over stimulated. She took the time to ask me how I was and seemed genuinely interested in my answer. She wasn't there to push a sale out of me. Instead she answered the questions I had and didn't make me feel pressured to try on anything. Which in turn made me want to buy something just because of her ability to make me feel comfortable in an environment I usually struggle with. She was the only one in store and managed serving multiple customers at once all getting the best service I've seen in a long time. Everyone left with the shoes they were after and a smile on their faces. She deserves the acknowledgement she gives customers. 5 stars. I'll definitely be back to shop there

Took my son here to buy shoes today, the man who helped us was great. Very friendly and helpful. (Sorry, bad with names, but had a beard and an eyebrow piercing) He listened when I told him my budget and pointed out shoes in this range (unlike most shops who sell to teenagers accompanied by their parents, who try to get parents to spend more by helping the teenager play on 'what everyone else has' or putting the parent on the spot so they feel bad for saying no). Prices are excellent too, a lot cheaper than other shoe stores in the shopping centre. Will be a returning customer.

I really loved shopping at Platypus Colonnades. This branch is ready to give all of good shopping experience offering top end shoes, caps, socks and accessories to choose from and has a good vibe. On top of that, their staff are amazing having high communication skill and they are friendly. After buying my sport shoes ,Mexico 66 tiger black and white, thanks to opening day, they put me in draw for a free spin ended up having a complementary 3Pack platypus socks. How cool is that! Highly recommended! Thanks guys

I phoned the store the day before to check if they had my size shoe in stock and I was told that there was plenty in stock so I went down the next day to be told that there was none in my size extremely disappointed I will not be returning to this shop

Excellent service by the young staff today. I selected the wrong size and she was more than happy to swap them. She couldn't find the right size even after calling other stores so organised them to be delivered from the warehouse free of charge.

Bought my first doc martins here and xavier served me. he a great knowledge on the product and told me how to take care of them. would go back again buy a different pair! Hes so cute!! and has the best customer service ive seen in a while

Waited ten minutes for service, alot of staff working as its a new store. No hello, no would you like some help so I walked out and got my shoes elsewhere. Following in suit of the Marion store by the looks of it!

At Noarlunga store waiting 5 minutes to see if we could try shoes on. Staff members to busy taking amongst themselves to even approach us. 4 pairs of shoes lost in this sale guys. 17th of September 2022.
