Update::May 16, 2023:: went back to see if they improved but it looks worse now because of dead flies in the food sections. :Original Post: This Nogalitos store formally known as La Fiesta... The bakery and cocina area is disgusting. They need to have a sanitation and food protocol safety classes. We saw the lady who handles and serves the food sweep the kitchen floor and picked up the dust pan with her gloved hands and pat the dust into the trash. This being done around opened food. Immediately with the same gloves on she served a group of people all types of food. I had already consumed my meal before witnessing all of that. Which I'll talk about the food as well in a second. Next we see a lady sweeping around the sweet bread and open each section and used the same broom sweeping along the main floor inside the sweet bread shelving. Which she should be using a proper rag or sponge for open food areas like that. Also you can smell mildew in their air/heating unit or all around the store. It is nauseating. As for the food. Horrible. The meat tasted off. The beef fajita meat was stringy and rubbery. No flavors. The nacho cheese tasted like oil and dirt residue. The albondigas meat tasted rotten and gave that weird tangy after taste. The soup had no flavor. This was a terrifying experience and will definitely not be going back.

Parked in what I thought was a parking spot. A "KAREN" of management came screaming that that's a "fire lane" . Immediately pulls out her phone videos me & my vehicles tag. Says she's calling cops if I don't move. I told her that the " firelands" are always painted red. These were yellow. I feel another reason for me attempting to park there was because of there poor parking lot lighting. This young, power hungry " Karen " should not ever confront someone so aggressively. Learn some people skills.....

La Fiesta supermarket gives one the feeling of shopping with comfort and ease, the employees are always helpful and greet you by your name, it's more than your neighborhood grocery store, I say and feel I am welcomed and new friends I make everytime I shop at the nogalitos location, which is daily. God bless all my friends, la fiesta employees that make me smile daily and have all the cleaning products I love

They always have what you need if you don't want to go to HEB because it seems to be that the egg should be plus never has their shelf stock with merchandise the one off zarzamora and military drive it is a plus store and the store fiesta is a little grocery store and their shelves are stocked and the vegetables look fresh.

Went to send money to Mexico it said 17.26 but when we saw the receipts it showed 17.02 on one and 17.06 on the other were talking about $40 that their keeping there is nothing saying that it has to be a specific store till I asked why.

Stopped bye to pick up some steaks for the grill, didn't have what I was looking for. The meat Mgr. Asked me if I need help. I told him what I wanted and he cut them special for me. Very pleased with the product and the service.

My place to shop when you get tired of the HEB crowds. I don't mind paying a little more for quick friendly service.. they usually carry everything that I need. It's always convenient. Quick in and out grocery shopping

Undergoing improvements as of Nov 27 when I went in. The handbaskets are so disgusting. There IS enough dirt and grime on the inside bottom of them, you could grow potatoes

The fresh bread was nice while it lasted. Good for quick grocery trips, but it's too pricey for serious shopping. Also, the meat quality is suspect at best.
