FAIRLY NONDESCRIPT STATION ON THE SANDRINGHAM LINE Not far from the city and is a good getting off point for the Prahran Market. Two platforms (platform 1 goes to the city, platform 2 to Sandringham). You need to exit the station and cross the road to swap platforms. A gently sloping ramp to access platform 1, entry to Platform 2 is level but there is a lot of road construction going on right next to the station so may be some issues with wheelchairs. Departure platform for Sandringham line at Flinders Street Station is often from platform 13 which isn't easy to find for first time users and is also a long distance from the main concourse.

They are friendly and some if them, are real chatter boxes when you live in the area as I did some time ago you get to know each other.
Upgraded the Myki tappy things so it now doesn’t require you to hold your card against it for 20 minutes. That’s nice. Has fresh air and loads of pigeons about. Rarely see nutbags hanging out on the platform so that’s worth a star too. And the platform guy who is there in the mornings is a calm, pleasant dude.
Overall it's a great station on the Sandringham line and it is fairly close and connected to the Prahran market and mall. Trains are arriving frequently and calm and quiet. Boom gates only start alarm when train is merely 25m away which can certainly be improved.

It's convenient to chapel street and only 3 stations from the city. Also close to multiple tram routes
No toilets or information area. Level crossing Ground outside the station is very uneven be careful.
Its a nice station but Would be better with more under cover in the middle of the station.
Good quiet station that is safe and clean. Too bad it's missed by most express trains
