They recently raised their prices to $4.25 for a small load and the dryer is 25¢ for every 4 minutes. Half the machines don’t work and there’s water & soap on the ground almost every time I come here (about once a week). Some of the washers don’t spin enough so my clothes are literally dripping wet and I have to wring them out on the sidewalk. It’s unstaffed and the number posted on the wall incase something happens doesn’t get answered. Here’s an example of a recent laundry run: I went to do laundry on a Sunday at 1pm. The machine that makes quarters was out of service. Soap and water were all over the floor. The trash was overflowing. Lots of customs loading the machines with clothes and soap and then getting angry when they can’t get quarters. Some customers tried to call the posted number over and over again but it just rang endlessly. It’s too bad because I’ve been going here for years and seen it go downhill while they continue to raise the prices. I guess I’ll wash my clothes in the bathtub again like the college days.

This could be the perfect laundromat, yet it's not. Across the street from Precita Park, a Muni stop and next to a great cafe. Not at all crowded, fairly clean and a television (Spanish language soaps were on if that's your thing.) This place could be exactly what you're looking for when you have to haul you're dirty clothes somewhere outside you're front door. However, the regular washers are $3.50 per load. A little pricey until you see how small of a load these machines can do. Less than a foot deep & maybe a couple feet circumference of the washing drum. I then went to the next to largest size, costing 27 quarters. After washing, the dryers are a quarter for 5 minutes. Average price except they do not dry. It's like a warm wet mess that I kept going for over 10 times until they closed. Everything was very damp, needed to be laid out to dry all night. Overall, prices are kinda steep but if the machines worked, it would've been a decent experienced, as is... Not so much.
