I used to frequent this Cafe a lot however one of the staff there, possibly an owner (female) was way too moody. Go to get a coffee one day, all smiles, then next visit barely speak, almost curt. At first I thought okay, she is having a bad day but then I noticed after taking my order and barely speaking or a smile, next person, all over them, smiles and chatty, addressing them by their name. I understand that in this industry you have good and bad days and it's very demanding so I'm always courteous.but if you choose to be in this industry, suck it up, I don't need Your attitude when I'm getting my morning coffee. It's a shame as the coffee is great. I have not been back here in almost 2 years as she is still there. The male (? Owner) who barristas most days is always pleasant! But as he isn't the front line person that takes coffee orders I just can't deal with the attitude

Very odd setting. Falafel wrap was good. Coffee was ok, nothing special. Ordered an espresso and told that what I actually want is a short black Barrista was also quite rude. I just head nodded to get out of there but she really shouldn’t be ill-tempered with customers. Also, if you’re sitting inside (the shopping centre foyer) just a heads up there is a lot of foot traffic/noise. Tables were also dirty and not cleared from previous customers. I rarely give bad reviews - unless warranted. Cant recommend unless you’re going to coles and want a quick bite to eat then maybe come here. Plenty of other options around.

Jason and team make the best coffee in Bundoora. Jason is such a friendly guy, he always remembers your name. Actually all the staff remember your name. That's a big thing for me being greeted by your name and even remembering what you've ordered before. The food is tasty also. You can't go wrong coming here for a bite to eat and a coffee. Do some shopping afterwards at Coles. You won't be disappointed. Prego Espresso Bar is my choice when I want a coffee in Bundoora. A+++ Ben

Vegetarian lunch yes ! Vegetarian wrap or Falafel they may have more but haven't looked. Coffee is great as well. Service is excellent. Generally place table available. Under air-conditioning. I ride my ebike from Mill Park then pop in here for a lunch, my bike is worth a fortune so I park it just behind me outside Coles. Great place fully recommended.

Really like this cafe, genuine staff who look after their customers. Like your visiting their home. Great location infront of Coles, good coffee and I enjoy their toasties, sandwiches and cakes fantastic value. Look for specials board good value. Ladies working their are lovely and know what true, real customer service is. Look forward to a morning coffee here always drop by when visiting the northern suburbs. Cafe seemed great, stopped to get coffee and food for a road trip. As soon as I unwrapped my food in the car sitting right on top of it (as if it was actually placed there) was a huge black hair that was then entwined in the food. I obviously couldn’t eat this (photos available) and disappointed as I couldn’t go back to inform the cafe of this unhygienic issue.

Nothing beats a daily visit to the Prego Espresso Bar. A family business run by Jason, Abby, Sam, Nikki, George, Stella and of course Dad. The coffee is the best in the Northern area and you will not be disappointed. Seating inside or out enjoying a snack with your favourite drink or just grabbing a takeaway. Highly recommended, great friendly service, and of course great coffee.

Great place for a sit down inside or outside or takeaway meal or snack. Came here today for a cuppa and one of those lovely cookies with the Smarties on top. Nicely located right out the front of Coles supermarket. Staff are so friendly and nice. Service fast. Do remember having a lovely focaccia here about three months ago. Fresh and generous in portion size. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good parking.

Great coffee, baristas are always so so lovely, but that lady that takes your order, damn she’s so rude every time! Not once in about two years (not an everyday customer but a few times a month) have I had a nice experience with her but I watch her treat most other customers so nicely. Therefore I will not be coming back don’t need this energy for my mornings xx

I go to this place very often and i used to come here every single day. The people that work there are extremely nice and are some of the nicest people that I have met. Great little coffee bar out front of Coles. They make great coffee and they are nice friendly people. Always a good coffee and food deal going on and lots of seating now outside too. Huge range of things to nibble on and it's hard to resist with the nice displays they put on.

The coffee at this family fantastic Cafe is the best there is in Melbourne. It’s consistent and is my favourite part of my day.

Prominently located on one of the entrance to Coles Supermarket.... On the coffee side, Soy latte was okay, pleasant but nothing special though. Lots of pre-made lunches on display.
