Possibly one of my worst experiences with dealerships in all my years. I purchased a vehicle, and everything seemed perfect, too perfect actually. Pricing was great, vehicle ran great, until the problems started to arise. First there were the tail lights malfunctioning. I said to myself "this isn't worth notifying the seller about." Then the more serious problems arrived, the airbag warnings, doors being detected as being open, rear tailgate latch malfunctioning, tailgate not working, and so on. I contact the dealership regarding these issues, and though admittedly having tried to 'help' us, it ended up being a full circle around to get us back to the same point we were at. We were sent to a sleaze-ball mechanic (check BTR Automotive review I wrote), which ended up trying to charge us $2000 for issues that weren't even related to the problem at hand. My problem with this whole experience has more to do with the dealer's constant attempts to use unnecessary amount of corporate jargon and to weasel his way around the problem. To you Brad, a simple "I will get you price for parts but you have to pay for them." would've saved me almost two weeks of constant headaches and running around. It is worrying that you find it necessary to have us meet in person to explain that simple concept, it really goes to show your inability to properly communicate like a normal human being. So finally, beware of this dealership, he talks a lot with very little information being said, so if you do embark on a journey to purchase a car from here, keep your ears peeled and filter out the unnecessary information presented. P.S. Check your vehicles in different weather conditions before buying anything. P.P.S. The dealer’s response is full of lies and misinformation. See attached images of the damaged components. Corrosion in rear control modules is common in some cars, and usually happens over time. There is no way (or reason) for me to drench my car’s trunk in water. P.P.P.S. The corporate jargon used by the dealer was “I will get you the parts at my cost.” Which led me to believe he was willing to help with fixing the parts on the car he sold me. Never once making it clear of his intentions. Please stop lying, you are in the wrong and sold me a lemon. The bright side to all this is that I can fix those issues myself, but this could’ve easily been sold to an old lady or anyone without mechanical experience.
Had an extremely good experience! Had barely any knowledge when it came to buying vehicles but Brad was extremely helpful and talked me through what I should be looking for in a vehicle. There was no pressure to purchase any of the vehicles on the car lot and the vehicle he had was honestly perfect for what I needed. This Infiniti was my first ever car purchase and it was completely stress free! They were completely fair on the price of the car and the car handles and performs perfectly. Super happy with my purchase since the car is in such good condition and I'm glad I went here rather than some other dealership. This dealership actually takes the time to go through thorough inspections on the vehicles they obtain and they also fix common problems (Foggy headlights, problems with paint, minor cosmetic damage, etc.) and they even clean the cars instead of just buying cars and selling them as is. Many other dealerships do this but this dealership goes above and beyond to ensure their vehicles are top quality. They physically handed me the carfax report and the 168 point inspection sheet showing these vehicles pass inspection. The sheet even included how much tread were on the tires and the thickness of the brake rotors. Vehicles being sold by this dealership are hand picked and are in good condition. I would totally recommend this dealership to my friends and family if they are looking for a new car to purchase due to how straight forward, welcoming and knowledgeable the staff are here.
Surprisingly unpleasant experience and disgusting attitude. Was interested in the 2006 Mazda 3. Since the car is 17 years old, I wasn't expecting any miracle. As it turned out, the timer cover has a leak. But, once again, the vehicle is 17 years old and this is not a big problem. And that was not an oil sweating or oily spot, it was real leak and it was fresh. But the owner insisted, that the car has no leaks of any kind due to mechanical fitness assessment. For sure the owner knew about this problem because he didn't even have a look at timing cover. Owner even haven't asked to show where leak is. I didn't say a word about price. He just repeated: "There are no leaks of any kind, just this car is not for you." Honestly, I have been ready to buy the car as it is, but this kind of attitude really disappointed me. Weird approach to run the business. Perhaps owner needs to change mechanic or starts saying truth to customers. Not recommend it. And your response on my review is total lie.
My pregnant wife had purchased a car from this dealership in September 2022. They told her only the power steering had to be fixed. When we took the car in to get the power steering done, the mechanic told us they weren’t even going to touch the car as the engine had a blown head gasket and will need a whole new engine. When I called the dealership to see about our options in fixing this, they said it isn’t their problem and there’s nothing they can do. They hung up the phone on me after repeatedly telling me they can’t do anything about it. This dealership is very unprofessional and will sell you a faulty car and then clean their hands by saying “it’s superior automotive that you should contact” . Don’t purchase or give this dealership any money. I hope they go bankrupt . Now , my family of 5 has no vehicle for the winter and lost money that we couldn’t afford to lose.
Prestige Auto are a first-class operation. I've known and completely trusted Brad and Bill for decades. This local boutique dealership offers quality vehicles and honest advice. I recently purchased another vehicle from Brad & Bill..my 5th over the last dozen years, for myself and family. Never have I been disappointed - each has met my own discerning personal standards. Any concerns (both pre- and post-purchase) have always been dealt with up front, professionally, and with customer satisfaction their goal. All vehicles are 3rd-party inspected and certified, and Carfax'd - and all documents are provided to each new owner at time of sale. There certainly are other options to buy vehicles locally, but Bill & Brad have met or exceeded my requirements from day one, and I'll buy from them again.
Buying a car from Brad was a dream. I test drove probably twenty cars at other used car lots and dealerships and none even came close to the cleanliness and amazing quality of every car on Prestige’s lot. I drove three cars there and they were all in perfect condition. Brad made sure I was aware of the increased maintenance costs associated with the BMW I bought from Prestige. You can tell how knowledgeable and passionate Brad and his dad Bill are about cars even from the thoughtful car descriptions in the website and it absolutely holds up in person. The cars at this lot are absolutely impeccable and the staff is fantastic and super easy to deal with. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone purchase a car here.
Purchasing a vehicle from Bill and Brad was literally stress free. Not knowing the dealership or personnel, I came in apprehensively. In my case, the vehicle was well priced and from the greeting to the signing, all went well. I have told friends it was like purchasing a car from your Dad. 10 months later; The purchase is just part of the story. It seems although my last name hasn't changed I have become part of the "Prestige" family haha. I have found that Bill & Brad have an enormous amount of car maintenance information and contacts. They don't do the work but they know facts & people that had saved me a lot of time and money. Another great reason to purchase from this "Dynamic Duo".
Almost bought his 2009 Charcoal Volkswagen Eos, did my due diligence and took the car for an independent inspection at the VW Dealership. Found out the vehicle had some oil leaks, codes came up for stereo speakers, still wanted to buy the car but Brad would not negotiate/budge on $300. We spent $350 at the VW dealership. Oh well, he lost a deal. This car is not worth his advertised price of $11,988. Good Karma for us, we bought a 2012 EOS for under $10k and got a 6 month warranty thrown in and a few little extras. I will not deal with a small shop ever again, especially after he lingered me into believing he was going to fix the stereo.
We couldn't have had a better experience with them. Brad was excellent from start to finish and did not in the least represent a typical used car salesperson. We looked at 3 vehicles all on their lot and all 3 were incredibly clean and low mileage. Brad mentioned he is very picky about the cars he buys and it shows. We did purchase from them and would certainly do again in the future and will tell anyone who will listen how happy we are with them and our new vehicle.
We recently purchased a vehicle from Prestige on Whyte and Brad was excellent to work with from start to finish. The day before we were to pick up the vehicle, Brad noticed a small issue which easily could have been hidden from us, but he called us right away and had the issue fixed. I was very impressed with his professionalism and honesty. My husband is thrilled with the purchase and we would not hesitate to buy another vehicle from Prestige on Whyte.
A friend recommended this car dealership, and I'm so glad they did. A former GM dealer and expert appraiser opened Prestige, and you can tell it's for the love of the find. The whole lot is full of hand picked, well researched cars. I bought a used SUV that was like new from his son, and felt I was making a fair, informed choice. No other car dealer had the same level of openness or quality.. I've already told two other friends about this place.
I Purchased an SUV from Bill. After looking around at some private sales and visiting some other dealerships I went to see an SUV Bill had on his lot. The vehicle was in great shape and super clean. Bill had the car fax and service records. He was a pleasure to deal with and it was an easy process. First time I purchased a vehicle at a dealership. I would buy a vehicle from prestige on whyte again.
As the owner of numerous vehicles over my working career, I can emphatically state that this Dealership operates with the highest level of integrity and professionalism and is unlike any Dealer - new or used - that I've dealt with. Both Bill and Brad Dekker know the importance of delivering exemplary customer service...before and after the sale. They're worth their weight in gold!
Found a perfect vehicle for our family. Received a very fair price plus excellent value on my trade The vehicle is in excellent shape, plus I was provided the complete service history. Bill and Brad are excellent to deal with and I would highly recommend this company.
Great dealership all around! Quality vehicles are always on the lot with a hassle and stress free environment. Understanding and personable staff / owners!! I will always look at Prestige before anywhere else for a new vehicle.
I had a great experience purchasing a used truck from Brad. It was a hassle free experience with no unnecessary charges or paperwork. The vehicle had a minor issue shortly after the purchase which was taken care of immediately.
Our best used vehicle buying experience ever.Owners very professional, honest & accommodating .not at all like usual used car dealers. We are so pleased . No extra costs associated with purchase
Gotta say, these guys were straight forward, honest, easy to deal with, and NO hidden fees for paperwork. Really enjoyed the experience which is something I don’t often say with car dealers.
Bought a car and have not driven it yet. Prior to a purchase simply bring to an independent mechanic. Don't trust AMVIC from Trail Tire. Prestige uses Trail./
Really bad experience with this dealer. Bought a car only for it to have water damage from the rain. I do not recommend this dealer.
Great experience and very helpful staff. Brad was extremely professional and wasn't pushy. We are incredibly happy with our vehice.
AL went above and beyond to fix my 98 SLK. Brought more car in and it was repaired with MB level service. Very happy with the work
Knowledgeable staff, good quality cars fairly priced. You can drive away confident you made the right choice.
Owner got me exactly what I wanted with low km. He takes pride in the cars that he sells.
Great new place. The same excellent unique inventory.
They're Awesome! Great guys, family ran.
