The worst clinic ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND everyone to bring their pet here especially for microchip and rabies vaccination for relocation purpose. Dr. Alfred Lim is not a professional vet as he was more concerned about not getting scratched from a cat instead of giving the best care for them, he was also more concerned in getting things done faster instead of being meticulous in the work. Details of incidents are as follow: 1. I brought my cat for microchip and Dr. Alfred Lim was obviously afraid to get scratched from the cat (which is unheard of for a vet) because he gave sedation to my cat so my cat is fully sedated in order for him to do the microchip easily without my cat moving around. After this, I checked with my friend who is a vet and by right, no sedation should be given for a cat just to put a microchip. 2. After that, my cat developed a lump in the area which she got sedation injection from. It didn't disappear for weeks so I brought my cat to another vet. Afraid there was gonna be something else since lump is getting bigger, the new vet advised to do biopsy to remove the lump and to check there's no cancer. After surgery, the new vet confirmed that the lump was caused by the sedation and my cat is allergic to it. 3. The worst mistake this clinic did was to put the wrong date for the next rabies vaccination. I came in the month of February and by right the second rabies vaccination date is 30 days after the first one but the clinic staff put 29 days after without noticing February is a short month. This mistake costs me tremendeous loss of time, energy- physically and mentally because of this, the whole rabies testing that is needed for relocation is not acceptable. All because the clinic staff negligently didn't put the accurate date. I've been holding back the bad feedback because the incident #1 and #2 happened last year but since I just found out about incident #3, I feel compelled to leave an honest review of what really happened that is hopefully will be useful for everyone who is considering to bring their pet to Pristine Veterinary Care. It is my job to remind fellow cat/dog parent to always find the best vet who truly cares about our kid and who have reliable clinic staff that can assist for the entire process, which something Pristine Vetrinary Care has FAILED big time to do so. I stand by my words. And, please avoid this place at all cost.

Hari ini my sayang Gebu telah pergi selamanya. Saya teramat sedih kerana saya menyambut kelahiran dia dan menjaga dia dari lahir..Gebu berumur setahun dan kucing yang sangat baik... Gebu mengalami discharge dan saya telah datang untuk dapatkan ubat. Doktor menasihatkan untuk melakukan pembedahan(spay)..Namun sy memilih untuk memberinya ubat saja. Selepas dua hari, saya lihat Gebu seperti lemah sedikit tetapi masih makan seperti biasa. Mungkin saya terlalu risau jadi sy nampak Gebu tk sihat. Saya telah membawa ke klinik lagi dan setelah berbincang kami akan melakukan pembedahan..Doktor bagitau Gebu kena hospitalized selepas pembedahan sebab nak kena masuk IVF drip.. Semalaman Gebu sendirian kerana klinik tidak beroperasi 24 jam jadi my Gebu sendirian selepas pembedahan. Sepatutnya selepas pembedahan kita tidak boleh membiarkan mereka sendirian dan perlu monitor sekiranya terjadi apa2..Ini la yang paling sy sedih kerana Gebu sendirian selepas pembedahan tanpa ada yang mengawasi. Pagi ini sy dpt panggilan dari klinik, berita yg sgt sedih, Gebu telah pergi selamanya. Kenapa Gebu boleh pergi begitu saja selepas pembedahan..Saya tidak sanggup melihat Gebu yang tidak bernyawa lagi. Allah saja yang tahu perasaan ini. Saya menangis tak henti2, sy tak boleh makan, saya tak boleh buat apa2. Saya rasa bersalah yang teramat sangat kat Gebu. Saya teramat sayang pada dia Doktor tidak memberitahu risiko selepas pembedahan. Saya fikir Gebu akan ok selepas pembedahan. Walaupun Gebu telah pergi, saya terpaksa juga membayar kos pembedahan dan semuanya berjumlah RM800 termasuk satu malam hospitalized. Saya mencadangkan hospitalized pets perlu di awasi dan tidak ditinggalkan sendirian selepas pembedahan..SAYA SANGAT KECEWA DGN KLINIK INI!!.SAYA TIDAK AKAN JEJAK KAKI SAYA KE SINI LAGI, NEVER!!! Jangan biarkan kesayangan anda bersendirian selepas spay/neuter kerana mereka sangat perlukan perhatian, perlu penjagaan yang sewajarnya..perlu beri minum dan makanan serta check luka dia selalu. Kena pastikan condition dia stabil. Kesian my Gebu sendirian menahan kesakitan semalaman tanpa sesiapa disisi..Andai Gebu tidak dibedah mungkin dia masih hidup.. Berfikirlah, ambil masa dan buat research sebanyaknya sebelum anda mengambil apa-apa tindakan untuk kesayangan anda. Saya sgt sedih. Kesayangan sy telah pergi selamanya

My cat passed away last Friday afternoon after I had given her the prescribed Virbac supplement, though it seems that the other 3 prescribed meds I'd been giving her for the past four days had worsened her condition. She was already cold and stiff when I lifted her minutes later to rush her to the vet, where the staff tried to resuscitate her despite knowing she was gone. I thank them for doing that. I had to Google later after making funeral arrangments the reason she had been unable to walk suddenly, was groaning and wailing, covering her mouth with her paws, trying to understandwhat she had to endure...She had had a stroke. It was horrifying. We all knew she had some sort of condition, probably similar to her mother's who passed away from cancer in February. Because Maggie was very sensitive and had a peaceful personality, we decided we would not force her to go through all kinds of scans or operations. We would keep her as comfortable as possible at home, where she liked to be, resting. I wish the Dr. Chris had clarified, knowing that Maggie had a condition, and after I'd said that she'd never had to take meds before so I was worried about how she'd react, that there was a chance the meds given for her sore throat that day could interfere, exacerbate or trigger something. Was it even a sore throat, or related to her condition? I don't even know now. The vet had said one of the meds was completely safe. I don't know about the other two, but those were a lot to prescribe to her anyway. I should've asked for a different option if there was one, but none was offered either. When Maggie started avoiding me, and struggled to accept the meds, I thought it was because most cats dislike taking meds and will get moody or angry. I had believed that the meds and Virbac were helping her, when in fact Maggie was trying to tell me that they were hurting her. I don't have a problem with this clinic. It's one of the better ones around. But the terrible way Maggie's life ended, and her last thoughts of me causing her pain still makes me physically ill. I will live with regret for a long time. To other pet owners, if you know your pets very well and they communicate with you, respect what they're trying to tell you. Go with your gut instead of what the vet tells you.

I lost my dearest baby yesterday. My cat received medication from this very vet, somehow every visit, his condition just gets worse. My cat was recommended a medication that could deteriorate his health yet the doctors recommended “reduced amount”. Every pet to their own, just because it helped other cats doesn’t mean it helps the rest. My cat has a history of seizure and the doctors couldnt grasp what caused the seizure, blood test came back completely normal yet we were recommended to do another blood test not more than 1 month after. After receiving the steroid meds, my cat had 1 last episode of seizure, the worst we have ever seen. After that he lost his sense of smell, sight, paralysed and we were told this was normal? A cat losing all its senses is normal after taking the medication and having a bad seizure episode? they only mentioned it is normal for fatigue. make it make sense. after 2 days he was able to walk very very weakly but all his senses were still gone. I regret so much sending my beloved cat to this vet, I shouldve taken care of him at home rather than relying on this vet’s medications. If you’re looking for a vet for seizure, inflammation or unknown disease, i DO NOT recommend this vet. Prices are also all over the place and inconsistent.

In the course of a year, I've been to 3 different vets including Pristine to find a solution for my cat dental problems. None of the other vets ever suggested the treatment vets at Pristine gave which might not heal my cat fully due to her own health condition (stomatitis) but at least, reduce the number of clinic visits my cat were required to go in a month. Other vets only keep prescribing my cat with medication/injection that need to be prescribed every 2-3 weeks. But after a surgery suggested by vets at Pristine, my cat only required to get her injection every 3-4 months. You won't understand how helpful that was not even for my cat but even for me unless you were in our shoes. The nurses at the clinic also was very soft-spoken, kind towards me. They patiently answered my questions attentively. Dr Alfred also didn't give solution to current problem but walk me through the whole process on what's next and what I should expected. I personally don't feel that their charges was too expensive, I've been to clinics where they charged me unnecessarily with no progress on my cat's condition. So I rather paid higher as long as I can see the progress in my cat.

Theyre alright until when it comes to appointments. I have neutered 2 of my boys there so i made a 3rd appointment for my female cat. Had to reschedule due to work. The second i had already cancelled but on the day, they called to ask am i sending my cat or not. I said ive rescheduled, but no dates were confirmed. Then they tell me my deposit is burn cause 2nd time postponed. So whatever lah. Also the second time neuter, my male cat was spose to be deflea but only 3 weeks post op and i see fleas on him again. They made me buy a kononnya top of the range flea med thats over RM100 for 3 tubes. And yet here i am. Spot on frontline or advantage is better. I dunno la i feel cheated. Anyway, go here if u have no other vets to to go. Im just so turned off wth the way i was spoken to, as if its my 1st time. And usually they send reminders of the appointment the day before to fast your cat. But nope. So yeah.

Whenever my Oliver gets any problem, i can rest assured Dr Alfred will help him to identify the root cause and prescribing the best treatment. Multiple occasions Oliver had severed allergic, and after meeting Dr Alfred, he stopped scratching and back to his naughty-self. We have gotten all the vaccination, neutered, various treatments from Pristine Veterinary Care and feel satisfied after every visit (owh!! Oliver is going to be 3 yr old soon). The staff were friendly and very attentive toward Oliver, they were so confident handling Oliver, gentle and full with care! Loving the location of the clinic too, there are so much parking spaces, in the quieter part of the district with convenient store next to it! Thanks for all the love and care for Oliver!

This is the place where you will get everything you have ever wished for your fur babies! I brought my baby Oreo who has been struggling for his life due to he was unable to urinates properly and after several visits to another vet in TTDI, I found no huge improvements for Oreo and then decided to bring him to Pristine Vet. Only with one visit (including Oreo needs to be warded for few days), Oreo survived and live happily ever after with the great care & advices from Dr. Alfred, Dr. Yeo & staff. The team handles Oreo with super care and I got the chances to visit my baby regularly during his stay there. Oreo is now gaining a lot of weight after he recovered from his illness. Big thanks to Pristine Vet Team! I will be forever grateful ❤️

Ideally you should call to make an appointment. Went over twicez first to deflea and deworm as well as treating an ear infection on one of my two kittensz and the second visit was for the vaccination. The veterinarians there are really nice and professional. Will visit again for vaccination follow up in the coming week and months. Price is decent and there are ample parking space. Also good that they're so close by to where I am staying which means shorter duration of stress for my little furries.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Pristine Veterinary Care. The staff were all attentive and sensitive to the needs of my rather demanding cat, and the way that they handled him when he was unwell really helped to calm both him and myself. Dr Alfred is so genuine in his care for the animals that he sees and will take the time to really understand how best to help your pet. I'm new to the area, but from now on will only be taking my pets to Pristine Veterinary Care.

I didn't expect there to be a vet shop near my place. The staff were very polite and friendly and even took care of my sick cat. The doctors are experts and even know how to identify breeds of stray cats. The prices are not expensive, but some of the medicine can be a bit costly. I would recommend this vet shop, but you need to set an appointment first

Best vet ever, my cat was suffering from fur-loss and Dr Alfred Lim was kind to perform thorough diagnosis to find out the problem. My cat is fully healed right now and he's looking gorgeous as ever. Ever since that day, I only send ALL my pets to Pristine. They provide grooming and boarding as well at reasonable prices.

The only vet in the area which treats birds from a number of others that I've inquired about. Excellent service by the doctors and staff. Helped free our bird's tongue which was stuck to the nest, at an urgent visit. Please check them out if you need any help with your furry little pets.

Exceptional service. After 14years in Malaysia I finally encountered not just quality treatment but a vet who takes you through the steps before and during with a clear picture of what's expected of you as a owner, for medicine treatment etc. And the price was reasonable too!

I love taking my furbabies here. The people are approachable, friendly and professional. The neutering and spaying fees are reasonable in comparison to other vet clinics nearby. I also like that they don't charge different prices for pedigree and for stray like other vets.

Pristine has a more pleasant and friendlier environment for my cat compared with KL Animal Hospital, and worth the travel for me as i live in KL. The little things used eg cat collar are so cute. Dr Alfred and his staff are efficient and friendly too.
