I recently hired Public Service Plumbers, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. Jacob Armstrong was not only respectful but also incredibly diligent and hardworking. He arrived on time, assessed the issue, and got to work promptly. Throughout the entire process, Jacob maintained a high level of professionalism and courtesy. He took the time to explain the problem and the steps they were taking to fix it, ensuring that I was well-informed throughout the service. We were quoted for a few different jobs around our home, everything we were quoted for was highly inflated, as expected. We decided to move forward with the replacement and rebuild of one of our toilet flushing mechanisms for $450 (raw parts to complete the job are less than $30 at Lowe's). Our time frame for job completion was 12pm-4pm, I waited at home for the tech to arrive four + hours, and not only did he not show, I never received a call or text from the tech or the office with status, or to let me know he'd be late/ not showing up all together. Unfortunately, the quality and service did not match up with what we were expecting for the price. We've used Public Service before, and unfortunately this recent experience did not match up to the ones we've had in the past.

Really excellent service in every way. I lost my hot water and got same day service. Carlos Gonzalez came out and explained to me my options and the since I have a very old water heater showed me why it was better to replace the unit. Public Service replaced the heater the next day. Jose Delafuente and his associate were a fine tuned working team and were very professional in every way. It was a very difficult install because my old unit was very large and located in a tight area. I have been in construction all of my life and I can say the work they did was as perfect as you can get. Jose was friendly and would always answer my questions. I learned a lot from him. It was a very good experience. I have used Public Service Plumbers for decades.

Our gas got cut off because a contractor was doing work in front of our house. Of course, this was Friday afternoon before July 4 weekend. When the Atmos Energy tech came out to turn the gas back on, he discovered we had a couple of leaks that we were responsible for fixing before he turn the gas back on. We called Public Service and they sent a plumber out that evening who fixed the leak. The next morning, we called Atmos back to turn the gas back on. The Atmos tech tested the system and found everything was good and was able to turn the gas back on. David Bryant, the plumber was very professional and competent and told me exactly what the problem was and how he planned to address it.

Public service installed my last water heater so I figured I’d call them again for this one. I had an eight to noon appointment today. It’s 5 PM. Still no plumber. No one has called or texted me to update me on the status of the plumber. I’ve called twice and was told the second time the plumber will call me back with an update. That was two hours ago. UPDATE: At 5:45 pm I finally got my first call from anyone letting me they were about 80 minutes away. We have plans tonight and I’m not cancelling them or making the babysitter deal with a water heater install so i said don’t bother coming tonight. No idea what to do now after wasting a whole day waiting around.

I gave them 2 stars because Jose that came over was very nice, punctual, and professional. Do NOT use this company for leak detection. They marketed themselves as such but they do not have the equipment necessary to find a leak. They will charge you 318.00 to check toilets, sinks, and your water heater (like you probably did before you called them) and then will refer you to metroplex plumbing because they don’t have the actual equipment to find a leak. Then metroplex will charge you 350.00 the first hour and 180 every additional hour. So, if you don’t feel like throwing 318.00 into the wind, just call metroplex if you’re leaking water somewhere.

Troy and Taylor came out because we had wood floors laid and the toilet flange in the floor was much lower due to the thickness of new wood floor. Another plumbing company came out and was wishy washy on what to do and chose the easiest procedure that may create a leak down the road. I became uncomfortable with them, so I called public service plumbing. Troy and Taylor were very decisive, and got the job done as they said; not the cheapest, but I did not want to worry about a toilet leak!! Plus they played with my dog willa and they genuinely enjoyed her and she them. Thanks guys

They were very honest and thorough in their diagnostics of my kitchen sink. They were also very polite and thorough in their explanation of the problem and how to fix it. I would definitely recommend their services in the future! **UPDATE** I want to add that the customer service given is amazing by the Phone reps as well! Specifically Charlene. She was such a joy to speak to, and she gave a thorough explanation of the Reward Membership Program. She was also able to schedule my service repairs very quickly! I am excited to get my toilet repairs done by this company.

When I had a plumbing issue Public Service Plumbers sent someone out the next morning who turned out be Jose. He did.a great job and was extremely professional and helpful. He also left us with a lot of great advice to help avoid us avoid problems in the future. The problem we had ended up being more complex than we initially thought it was. Jose stayed all day until it was resolved. We really appreciate him and his work! I highly recommend Public Service Plumbers and Jose!

We had a leak behind our dishwasher right before leaving town. This business was very accommodating in sending a tech out to assess our problem. The work cannot be finished in one day, because a carpenter needs to be involved, but we will be using the tech, Taylor, sent by Public Service Plumbers to complete the job of replacing a corroded copper drain pipe in about a week. Taylor did a fine job of explaining the problem to us over the phone, while we were away.

Jose Delafuente was AWESOME! He was very communicative and was able to explain what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He was very nice, worked quickly, and was SUPER CLEAN. When I mentioned that he said he worked as if he were doing the work for himself and I completely agree with that statement. He found and unexpected 2nd plumbing issue and worked until that was also fixed. Would definitely want to work with him again anytime!

Update** Second time working with Troy and his Co- worker, and it was just as fantastic as the first time! So grateful! This was our first time working with Public Service Plumbers and it was fabulous. Troy is extremely knowledgeable and persistent! He figured out a rough challenge and made everything work perfectly! I greatly appreciate his ownership of his work, his professionalism, and relational capabilities! We are a customer for life!

Troy came out and reviewed all of our Plumbing. He was very thorough…looking at the hot water heater, all the sinks and valves in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the outside faucets. He prepared a detailed repot with pictures pointing out items we needed to address. During his visit he was very informative and friendly resulting in our trusting his work and advice. Great job Troy!!! We will definitely use you again.

Called Public Service Plumbers because my water heater was leaking. Nate Rivera with Public Service Plumbers came out and diagnosed the issue, guided me through financing, walked me through the entire process and updated me throughout. He was polite, knowledgeable and worked through the Texas heat to get me a new water heater installed same day. Excellent service and a true pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Troy and Taylor were a absolutely wonderful today. they were both so helpful and really explained everything to me in detail. as a new home owner that really helps me out. A former plumber had incorrectly installed a water heater, and they were able to figure it out the same day. i’m so relieved to have everything working and will absolutely be using Public Service Plumbers in the future!

Troy helped me out tremendously today with the leak from my upstairs toilet. We narrowed down the issue to a cracked PVC pipe. I did have a messed up flange as well. Troy fixed the cracked PVC pipe as well as the flange and reset my upstairs toilet. Troy also was extremely friendly with my dog and played with him a little. If you have an animal Troy is a very friendly plumber.

The crawlspace was covered with containers of water bottles and your guys were just watching my daughter and I lifting these boxes out of the closet and it was a waste of time so we’re gonna have the plumber we normally use come by bc he’s super sweet and would not stand there watching two women lifting. It was awkward and a waste of time for them to stand there just watching

Manny was the best he came over and solved our hot water problem. We had no hot water for the past 24 hours and I was so nervous because I tried everything that I could do to get it working and couldn’t figure it out. He was so kind and friendly and warm and welcoming and understanding and you should always ask for Manny to come help with your water problems!!!

Clint showed up on time for my plumbing checkup. He was professional and answered all my questions. I received an honest review of all my plumbing and wasn't given a hard sell to drive unneeded repairs. He sent several estimates for upgrades I'm considering and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be using this company for my future plumbing needs.

Troy has alway been my favorite and go to guy. I have no issues with Troy, his integrity or workmanship. What I do have issues with is with the internal workings of the company. I have used PSP for years. The scheduling is chaotic return calls don’t happen and when you want to pay a bill you can’t get anyone in accounts receivable.

Troy and Taylor have been at my home several times over the past year or so for a variety of issues. They are very professional, competent, and thorough. They are great at communicating what services they recommend and why, even sending me pictures of the issues they spot. On top of all that, they are very nice and friendly.

Public Service Plumbers responded quickly when we had a kitchen leak and needed to do extensive repair and replacement of old fixtures. Nate gave us a good estimate and worked even past end of the workday to "get 'er done", with excellent quality and cleaning up afterwards. Professional and competent!

We had an exterior faucet which had frozen and wasn’t working. We suspected it was leaking into the wall. Every detail of the replacement process was explained in detail. The faucet was replaced quickly and I was shown the broken pipe. I would recommend Raymundo and Public Service Plumbers to anyone.

Receptionist was very friendly and professional and Jacob was fantastic. The only reason for 4 stars was that it took 6-7 hours and a couple calls before someone to came (on a Saturday). But when they found an available plumber he called and was on time and handled the job quickly and professionally.

Clint came out to do a full home plumbing inspection for us and did a fantastic job. The whole process was very educational and Clint took the time to listen to our concerns and offer up his opinion and options. We look forward to reviewing the estimates in detail and getting some things fixed.

Clint Partlow from did a great job with the sewer line camera scope service he provided for my company! He was on time, very informative, communicated every finding, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work. I highly recommend this company they will not disappoint.

Update November 10, 2023. We always use Public Service Plumbers…their people are very careful and knowledgeable…and they do great work. Jacob came out to do a complex repair on a tankless water heater and did an excellent job and he did it quickly. Great guy who does great work. Thank you.

Josh did a great job. He was friendly and very professional. And, did his work in a timely manner. I appreciate his honesty and his flexibility. We have not made a decision about the replacement of the hot water heater yet. We are just in the process of getting estimates. Thank you.

Brandon was on time, dealt with our anxious barking dog with ease, and wore booties when he arrived to our house. He gave us explanations to why we were having issues with our shower and sink. He showed us pictures of the inside of the drain. Would recommend and use him again.

Work isn’t finished. There is a leak he couldn’t find. More needs to be done. And we’ll need a gas inspection. Cristian is working his fanny off, but he has to go under the house and then come back out and the to the front of the house. And then repeat the whole process.

They were able to send someone out on the same day. We were very happy with Nate, who was on time, friendly, and professional. He gave us tips on what to do with our spigot which were super helpful. We would definitely request Nate in the future if we use this company.
