My first interaction was with Tatyana over the phone, she was extremely helpful and patience answering all my questions, even called me back to answer a question she wasn't able to answer right away. At the place I had Donovan as my move-in coordinator and he was fantastic. He explained everything in detail and was also very patient. He was tremendously helpful especially because my phone ran out of battery and I couldn't call a cab, the place was about to close but he still took the time to help me getting a taxi. He was a live safer! Security seems solid and you only get in with a code, through the main gate and to the floor where my unit was. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is because of other customers, no one was wearing a mask and I witnessed two guys getting very aggressive with the staff, who I have to say handled it perfectly. Again, the staff and location would get 5 star but because of customers there I only give it 4.

It was my first time renting a storage unit. The lady who helped me seemed like she did not want to be there. Nevertheless, she showed me the storage space and as we were walking out, she held one of the heavy metal doors for the "both of us". I'm saying for the "both of us" because it really seemed like she held it mainly for herself. And my ankle painfully got caught under it as it slammed shut. Then, without any apology or acknowledgement of what happened and the excruciating pain I was in she hastily asked me to fill out the paperwork. I limped back and forth just to put my stuff in storage. Honestly, a little kindness goes a long way. There was no need to rush like that since no other customers were present. I even asked for an ice (or anything) to which she replied she didn't have anything to help. I will never be renting a storage unit from this place again.

In the late spring I was looking for a storage unit and I found this one for a good deal. This storage facility it’s a bit tricky since looks clean and great prices. The only reason that I give them 2 stars is because no one has broken in to my storage. Otherwise I would give it 0 stars. The management once I mentioned that I had a mice and rat problem in my storage units he just mentioned that he could put us in a waiting list to get the same size storage unit. Weeks later I received a note from public storage. That my insurance in the units were changed to a one that don’t cover varmit pest. So I didn’t had a chance to make a claim so my winter looks very cold a north face my Canada goose Jackets went to the garbage and I was left with no winter Jackets it very unfortunately that greed goes over a customer service.

I love the service .. as well as the professionalism shown by Tracie.. who is an employee there... I came there a few months ago and she made it so easy for me .. never had a issue and she does a very great job in my eyes. Whenever I'm there.. I always see her greet the customers.. any questions that the customers has Tracie is able to give us the information we need. Tracie keeps a level head when dealing with difficult customers.. she don't lose her cool .. and she still keeps it professional... trust me I seen people getting reckless and she still manage to get the job done and keep calm. Tracie works hard for the most part ... my experience at Public Storage has been a good one because of people like Tracie ... Thank you and please give the girl a raise!! She's doing a wonderful job

My experience started off a bit rocky because I didn’t realize that the deal I had reserved was for a locker as opposed to a true unit. Yulandah was the one to help me and she was AMAZING. I was working on only 4 hours sleep after driving my things to the city, no food, no coffee. Yulandah was patient and helpful to explain how she would transfer the rental unit to one that would work for me. She understood my frustration and I owned that it was my error. I’m the end, I have a unit big enough for all my things and no stress so I can take care of my business until I need to move things out of storage. Thank you Yulandah!!! You deserve all recognition for taking care of things without being unpleasant.

I wish there was a 0 stars option. This is the worst storage facility I have ever stored with. The staff were unhelpful and rude. Me and my mom were stuck in an elevator for an hour waiting to be helped by staff only to find out the elevator phone didn't work an they were fully aware it needed to bed fixed. We also waited an hour to get my drivers license back from the front desk, when a worker clearly saw us and was ignoring us. The property manager is unresponsive so if you want to get answers don't expect any. They also falsely charged us for a unit we never used or look at. DO NOT STORE HERE. Your life will be a living hell.

What an outstanding experience by Anniall & Donovan… I had to make a last minute reservation for a large storage unit and Anniall walked me through every step of the way… Even assisting me to complete the rental agreement through my phone.. for some reason I little to no reception and went outside to complete the documents… Anniall waited with me outside despite the cold temperature and showed me how to access the gate.. Such a gem and stellar customer service…The manager Donovan was also very attentive and helpful assisting us… truly grateful and highly recommend this location!

I must say I have used other storage companies before but was completely blown away by the superb customer service by the employees at this location! Not only did they make me forget about the stress of my move, but they just made me feel like family! Place was clean and well maintained. I appreciated the free hand carts and the packing supplied that we're available for me to purchase to make my move easier. It's great to know above and beyond customer service still exists! Amazing customer service, Javonna is high competent about the company and shows great enthusiasm. Javonna has excellent work ethics and her demeanor was very professional. She is an intelligent young woman, a people person, cool, calm and collect. 1250 Rockaway parkway location is very clean and well kept, the staff greeted me well with smiles and treated me with great respect. I recently rented an outdoor space for my car. I must admit the service was great. The place was definitely well secured and the staff was helpful from the minute I walked in. I dealt primarily with Orquidea and the ladies there. They answered all of my questions and I had a ton! I will definitely recommend to all my friends and family. From now on anytime I travel I will use this facility because they gave me such piece of mind. I will definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

Even though the people at the facility are helpful once you have to sign up I will never choose public storage again . They false advertise .. so it's not truly a dollar to start.. read the fine print. Also they do not work with you as a customer if you happen to miss a payment .. ESPECIALLY during this time of a pandemic.. there is no understanding or help .. they are quick to auction your things. Never again will I choose them for storage .

Rented an outside unit today; Jess greeted us with a beautiful smile and helped us with through the whole rental process in a very professional manner. She answered all our questions, was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, friendly and even gave us extra courtesy of waiting for us to finishing moving in all our items. They really deserve a holiday bonus and a raise! They assisted me with finding a lock smith, moving out, paying my bill and even was kind enough to let my son use the rest room when both where temporary out of order. 5 stars. Great service!

Went in about 3 months ago because my family and I were in a need of a storage unit fast but we wanted something affordable. They help us out with everything they even made us laugh as well especially being that it was a bad day for my family and I. While helping they gave us tips on what to do to keep our stuff safe and not getting damaged. Every time I stop by they are always smiling and nice. Great staff

I come everyday to the property and the staff is always so friendly and jovial, especially the manager Ashley. It's always so clean and I'm always greeted with a smile. There is no light in my space so it's quite an inconvenience to me when the automated lights in the hallway doesn't work. I understand that it's a space that has many different individuals items but the rodent problem is atrocious. With all the money that is being paid I expected better coverage for my items. Now I have to consider the disposal of some items.

When entered the office, Jaida greeted us right away. As soon as we mentioned our reservation name, she knew right away who were and proceeded to assist us. She was very informative and knowledgeable. She was also very patience and accommodating, with no sign of being impatient or rushing us. I checked in at 5:45 pm and Donovan and Lisa were exceptional help. They personally waited and attended in helping me move in until 6:45 pm. Staying 45 minutes past their shift and upholding excellence and professionalism in the process. They made this experience seamless and unforgettable. Public Storage was recommended recently by a relative. Upon arriving I was greeted with a smile by Samaj. She was excellent in informing me of my unit size options based on my need,explaining fees and walking me through the facility to see the unit(s). Samaj is much appreciated for the experience I had signing up for a unit.

Javonna did an excellent job helping me select a unit that fit all my needs. She went above and beyond to make sure the space would accommodate my needs. Definitely recommend her as her customer service was exemplary. Also, would like to recommend Lisa and Donovan as they both did a wonderful job assisting me as well.

The location is alright. The people are adequately helpful. My problem is with the company (PS) overall. I don’t like their crooked policy of charging for the entire month despite when you start or end your service. (That’s why I moved my stuff back to uhaul.)
