Called the number on Google. Spoke to the companies hotline, that informed me they were running a special. One dollar move in, next month $40 on the size unit I wanted. I asked the lady several times in amazement if that's all I had to pay. She stated yes. She informed me someone from the storage unit would be calling me shortly to confirm a date to move in. Shortly after, I received a phone call from Letty. We scheduled the time I would arrive the next day. We also discussed my amazement that all I had to pay was a dollar. I didn't ask any questions about other fee' s because CLEARLY I wasn't aware. However as an employer, Letty did know that other fees would apply but didn't let me know. She either with held that information to sell a unit, ill informed by management to make the customer fully aware if all fees prior to showing up, or she's just plain incompetent and didn't care. Showing up the next day the manager showed me the unit. I agreed and headed back to the office. She proceeded to tell me all the fees that would apply. The lock, insurance and taxes. Way more than a dollar move in promotion. I refused to pay & told the manager I was only supposed to pay the promotion fee. She told me that the lady who initially took my call was from California and that every state requirements were different. I accepted that.... but Lettys requirements was my problem and she should have fully informed me. Communication & transparency is every thing. Considering I was moving I was on a budget and not knowing my full responsibilities with Storage it caused me a huge huge problem. I was unable to rent the storage unit and had to stop the movers whom were waiting with my belongings in their truck. It infuriated me the lack of care the manager displayed while explaining my concern. Anyone that passes the buck onto someone else specially a manager is unfortunate. She should of waived those fees or set up a plan for payment at another time BECAUSE her employer didn't fully inform me...any storage unit that doesn't allow you to have your own lock or give you an option for insurance shouldnt receive your business....

DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS HERE!! Rachel the manager is wonderful.... her staff/coworkers and company policy really needs to be addressed. So many issues to try and cover. The first being the lack of communication between customer and employee and as well as employee to employee or Manager to Employee. Seems no one knows what's going on and their company "policies" to include lock out/ lock over and lock cutting are NO WHERE in writing. Now I'm not arguing the fact that I was less than a month late (while maintaining close communication with them letting them know when I would pay my balance) but they cut my lock without telling me they were going to and cut it on the same day that I paid! Then charged me $20 for a new lock. NO WHERE in my lease agreement does it say ANYTHING about cutting my lock and to do so when not even 30 days late is ridiculous. If they put their lock over yours what is the purpose for lock cutting? To open my unit and take what you want? Then when I 1st called Rachel was nowhere to be found left a message no return call Then went up there no Manager no answer when employee on duty tried to contact her. Also the lack of knowledge and inability to keep consistent with "policy and procedure" as well as timelines and lack of any written documentation are unprofessional and show no regard for customer service. I will be taking this higher as to not have such things in writing now days is mind boggling. I'm absolutely furious I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE FACILITY and as soon as I have the money to get out better believe I will.

First of all I have to start by saying I don't like storage places because most of the time management doesn't know or care about your unit. If it is clean if you need anything they are never around and so forth. However, Marlana, the manager at this Public Storage has changed my mind. She knows me and my family, she is always helpful. Here are some examples: We decided to change units so we (my husband and I) left our 1.5 year old with mom and planned the day there at Public Storage. Marlana came out to see if there was anything she could do help. She offered us supplies to help us with the move. She showed us where the Restroom was just in case it was needed. I just asked in passing if she knew where the city dump was since we were also clearing out items and my phone wasn't getting a signal. She said she didn't know. Well by the time I was ready to sign the new paperwork which she had ready for us; she had looked up and called around for directions to the city dump for us. She is totally a great employee and most of all a great person. In today’s world you rarely find anyone willing to go out of their way for someone else but when you do you really feel blessed to have been in their presences. We left that day feeling very tired but so very grateful we didn't have another task of finding the city dump. The owner also gave us a great discount for the first month of rent for the new unit, which really came in handy that month.

Do NOT use Public Storage. I got the move-in special in August. Then I moved in and they raised my rent by $15/month in December, once they knew I had moved in. I'm confident they do this to everyone. Don't be fooled like I was. They force you to get insurance on your stuff from them for $10/month, which is insane. I'm currently paying $131/mo for the unit that was advertised at $89. The manager tried to upsell me about 5 different products, including rope, tape, boxes, a lock, and other junk at exorbitant prices. When I declined all of the products and had my own lock, she became visibly upset and tried to claim my lock was not compatible with their doors. When I tried to make her show me one difference between her lock and my lock, she finally caved. Currently getting my stuff out of there. So done with this company forever. So. Done.

Auctioned off EVERYTHING besides the clothes on back! About 14,000$ financially, maybe more..mentally I cannot begin to describe what this has done to me. I trusted Rachel, the manager with all that my family and I owned. There are many details I must leave out for legal reasons, but I attempted to pay before an auction that I wasnt notified about until the day prior..Im on SSI and the first thing I do every month is pay to protect my belongings! They illegally sold my entire life for 105$ and then sent me the bill. They refused to give me one or all 10,000 documents and personal items pertaining to a private family matter, medications, bank info, SSI info, pics, anything!! The month the auction happened, I even paid 2 full payments! They sold my unit to someone who I know and had their eye on it for the entire time..illegally!!!

My experience with Public Storage was absolutely hassle free all thanks to Rachel! This wonderful gem literally makes you forget you’re storing away your whole life and treats you like family. I have had my storage unit for a year now and as exciting as it is to move forward I must say it feels a bit sad knowing I’ll have no reason to come here anymore. I loved every part of making the decision to come to THIS location. Rachel has been so helpful and has reminded me of what customer service is all about! They say it’s 50% you 50% the location. Well I’d have to say it was 100% RACHEL that made me choose this place after being greeted with such hospitality. Thank you my time is up here, but another will need my spot so my prayer is that they are met with the same grace and kindness as I was.

So very cool to be able to store boxes and things as we prepared to move from one apartment to another, making our living situation much easier. Service was reliable and friendly, things went nice and quick when setting up the account and getting the storage we needed. The property was very secure during our use and not busy, is locked down between 9pm and 6am, I never even saw anyone else using the storage while I was there. Plus, we'll get a refund for the time we paid for that we won't need as we have moved into our new place and emptied the storage unit. We can't Thank you enough!

I have to give this place five stars! The manager Raeleena is amazing! Due to unforseen circumstances I fell behind on my payments. She was so understanding and was very patient about explaining my options And the last day I could pay to keep my belongings. I could really tell she cared! She was so professional! Please go here if you need a unit! She also helped me get the best size I needed which was cheaper than I planned on paying. Raeleena is amazing!

So this is the second public storage I've been to in the last year and I have to say I'm just as impressed with this one as the last one. I went with my kid to move some stuff out of their unit and the bill needed to be paid (go figure). The cleark was a sweetheart (Rachel?). The place seems pretty secure considering the area, and the place was a lot cleaner than any other business in the area. All in all a five star visit. Thanks much!

Gwen is awesome! I was looking to for 5x10 to store my things while I was in between moving out of my apartment and into a house. She recommended a 10x20 that was available for less than a 5x10 for 30 days. It came with a lock and no additional fees. Very satisfied about the whole experience. I didn't feel like I was being sold to (like most companies who try and upgrade you to pay more) and paid less than I expect.

The Property Manager Gwen was very helpful, informative, and overall just great customer service. Her and Ms. Norma was very helpful and sweet the whole process and made it all information very clear and easy to understand. Very fast as well. Thank you again ladies for your hard work and help. If you ever need help with storing your belongings, i recommend this location. Keep up the good work!!!!!

This facility is always clean and secure. We have used this facility for over 5 years and have always gotten great service. Rachel (property manager) is great at what she does...sometimes working 6 or even 7 days a week. For all that she does, shes always courteous to others, understanding of customers needs, and does it all with a smile on her face. We would recommend this facility in a heartbeat.

Personnel is friendly, efficient, and always greets you with a smile. Clean facility, Secure, and carts to help you move in. All my items stored were clean, bug free, and exactly as I left them. Grounds always kept clean. I will use them again if I have a storage need. Truly, I was so surprised at the quality I received for the money. I have used other storages companies before and this was A+.

I would like to say that my experience with public storage has always been a good one. Marlana is always very friendly and helpful and goes out of her way to make sure that my needs are met. She is hands on and goes the extra mile to ensure that my things are taken care of in a professional and safe manner. I will always recommend this location to my friends and family.

We we're looking for storage and happened on Public storage, we stopped at one before this location & spoke to Samantha and she didn't have the size we needed, but was very helpful that this location had the size we needed. Rachel is the best! Friendly smile and cheerful everytime! I feel very secure here the complete opposite from Uhaul, where their cameras dont even work, storages are infiltrated nightly, and anyone can piggyback through the gate. Not here! Cameras, Motion Sensors, gate timer closes as soon as you drive through, and Rachel's desk is front and center to see everything.

I was very pleased with the help and information provided to me by Jesse. He was very patient with me because i had so many questions about not only the storage but the sale of boxes and things needed to move from our current home. It is a joy to be doing business with people that love what they do and believe in their product.

Great management. They even have access without having to get out of the vehicle! Overall, very happy with the location and service. Only real downside is the mandatory insurance which raises the advertised price but that is all storage places. But even still, with that it's still a good value.

I went to this public storage location because I was nearby and my sister needed me to cover her payment. I met Rachel and was very impressed she has a great smile and personality and the store and facility was very clean. If I needed to store anything I’d come here first.

I have RAT POOP all over my unit!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! To talk to anyone there you have to make an appointment, even if someone is there on site. Makes no sense. They haven’t done anything to fix the problem or called us back! We also have to clean it up ourselves smh.

You have to be out of their gate before 9:00 p.m. or the alarm will set off. Not by 9:00 p.m. before 9:00 p.m. most of the time you don't get discounts if you're a previous customer.

I have never used stoage before and everything was pretty simple. the manager marlana was knowledgeable and friendly. i would use this facility again if i need storage in the future.

Just stopped to get some boxes. Rachel was so up beat and new exactly what I needed. Ended up getting boxes and dividers. She was a breath of fresh air on such a crazy moving day.
