My girlfriend and I moved to Vancouver from Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 1st 2021 (during the covid pandemic). We were very stressed as we had to find a place to live in before our belongings arrived. We ended up having a huge issue as the place we had initially signed the lease for was not in a clean/sanitary condition. This caused us to have to cancel our lease (however the movers were less than 5 days away). At that point we decided to get our own Storage as it seemed highly unlikely that we'd be able to find a place and sign a lease within 5 days (and the storage fees for the moving company were astronomous). When we went to the Public Storage (very stressed) and we met Vincent we were immediately met with a calm, nice, relatable and professional person. He was kind, funny and he genuinely related to our hardships! If it wasn't for his kindness my partner and I would've been in a much bigger financial pickle! Thank you again Vincent! Please accept my apology for taking this long to post a review. You've made us FANS of Public Storage (as long as all the managers are as good as you ;)

Held a few lockers here for my business for 4 years. The facility is clean, well maintained and the staff are very helpful when approached. They have several heavy duty carts to help move materials in and out. My only complaint is the temperature in during the winter months. The temperatures inside my lockers though the winter months would average 12°C - not exactly freezing but far too cold to sit in the lockers searching for documents or organizing files and equipment. The rent is on par with per square foot costs for apartments without the luxuries of comfortable temperatures. The fact I couldn't use the facility comfortably when the temperatures dropped began to have a negative effect on my business prompting me to move into bigger operating facilities which fortunately reduced my operating costs. Great facility, clean and well maintained. Fantastic staff. A little overpriced for what you get. Far too cold in the winter months if you need to spend any time in the lockers.

I have to give them five stars!! Vincent is always so helpful and knows his stuff, and when I said I might be moving to a new apartment and would be vacating, he said "no problem, just let us know when you think you are moving, no notice needed", etc. and made it so stress-free! ....and the woman there (Cathy?! Sorry I forgot your name!) is also awesome, as she explained how I could save money if I paid a few months in advance, or went on auto pay, I can't quite remember...but never pushed anything...just always helpful! And of course they always have a locker available, even though I know they are always almost full....and they had a wardrobe box I bought for my suits...and Vincent carried it to my locker for me, what a pal! ;-) I like them as they are sincere, helpful and just pleasant to deal with....that should about cover it! Oh, and I like the access hours, and the ease of just getting the locker and then when you leave...never a hassle here! ;-)

As the Owner running a very busy coffee bar, I have been with Public Storage long term for 12 years since the year this location first opened. The staff were always quite knowledgeable and helpful and the location and facilities here really helped in the running of my business. Now since my business has closed and I have some special needs in closing down my unit, I have found both Kevin and Margaret working at the front desk to be extremely helpful, friendly, and providing me with excellent customer service. It is only because of the people Public Storage hires in particular just like Kevin and Margaret, that I would definately seek this location out again when it comes time to rent a storage unit out, but next time it will be for my own personal needs. My highest recommendation goes out to this location and be sure to seek out either Kevin or Margaret in the office for their excellence and professionalism.

We needed to clear out our condo to out it on market. The location of this Public Storage was very convenient - I was able to carry items over and retrieve things on a whim. The facility was clean and seemed well-maintained. There's abundant parking and it was no trouble parking our UHaul. I noticed that the magnetized alarm chip had fallen off the front of our unit and asked one of the staff about it. He came out right away to investigate and took no time figuring out that it had gotten loose and was stuck to the back of the rolling door. It was soon replaced. I enjoyed chatting with the staff, who are a friendly bunch of guys. Our movers were late doing pickup and didn't clear out our unit on time, but the staff were surprisingly cool about it. My only misgiving is that the rate seemed quite high, but that is probably because of the neighbourhood.

I was moving out of a locker today and the first thing I did was drop several keys needed for the move (and others) down the elevator shaft. Sigh. I asked the guys in the office what could be done to retrieve them and they were helpful giving me the options (pay a lot to the elevator company to come quickly to get them or wait for monthly elevator service and get them back at no charge). I left discouraged but continued on with my move. Several hours later I received a call from the manager, Vincent Morgan, telling me he had spent considerable time fishing my keys from the pit of the elevator with a stick, light and magnet. AMAZING! This team of Vincent and Robin were so helpful, understanding and went far above and beyond in their effort to leave this customer overjoyed. Thanks guys!

Is it strange to say you have an 'amazing' relationship with your storage unit property managers?? Well, fact is I do. I am a purchasing coordinator for a busy interior design firm here in Kits and I am a regular return customer a few times a year with multiple units for rent. The excellent experience I have had with Public Storage has been solely based on my professional interactions with Lynn and Vincent. They are a perfect combination of efficient (I'm always a tornado in a hurry), informative perfectly personable. Quick, easy, practically painless (well, nothing's free after all). Really clean, well-lit facility with friendly and helpful staff. Michael was super helpful, answered all my questions, and helped me make sure my needs regarding spacing were met. I know people want to do everything online (I appreciate that too), but going in person to your appointment can really help someone like me who isn't good at visualizing space and how things will fit into it. Getting advice from experts can also help with peace of mind at a time when stress is usually part of the equation. Such a pleasure to deal with friendly people with good attitudes! Makes everything easier for everyone, and I would recommend both the staff and location to anyone.

I was looking for a unit for professional purposes in Vancouver, from the Toronto area and many storage facilities were unable to accommodate our needs and in-unit delivery without being on-site. Michael (Property Manager, and his staff (Tayfun, specifically) have been INCREDIBLE to work with and have gone out of their way to accommodate our needs and ensure we were all set with exactly what we needed. Their communication has been prompt, polite, and customer service-oriented without a single challenge. I highly recommend this property and appreciate the pride that Michael and his team take in their work.

We absolutely loved our experience with Public Storage, from the moment we opened our store and required a small unit, to when we moved into a much bigger unit and finally moved out, into our own 4000 sq ft warehouse nearby. Every part of the experience was wonderful. The price was excellent, the service and team were always helpful and kind to us, and the entire process from beginning to end was seamless and great! We cannot say enough about this place! Thanks to the team there for being so awesome to us and if we ever need a storage unit again, we will come back to Public Storage. Thanks again!!

Over priced, hidden costs (mandatory insurance posing as optional, late fees if you don't pay before a certain time of the month), no security in the back entrance seeing how a group of people are constantly throwing garbage everywhere and it gets cleaned up a few days later, bathrooms are disgusting, and unsolicited emails asking me to rate them (here it is). And the reason for the 2 star is rude management who thinks acting like a child and giving unwarranted attitude is a proper way to communicate. Moving my business somewhere else.

The Public Storage company was great at every point of my interaction with them. I called the general line to inquire about spaces and was met with a kind operator who was able to answer all of my questions. I then called the west 3rd location and was able to speak with someone right away who was kind and helpful. I went on site and was met by Michael, who was kind and so helpful. He made sure I was set up well and answered any questions I had. Overall great experience with this company and the W 3rd location.

I have rented two units in two different locations, the second one having been recommended by the first as being less expensive. The staff in both locations were friendly, helpful, and informative. I heartily recommend this business, largely because of its employees, but the units themselves are easy to access and well-lighted. They've done everything they can to make the unwelcome task of storing one's belongings as painless as possible.

Kevin there is super nice, shows me all the details for storage with nice recommendation, also helps me the path to my own storage. The price there is awesome(I got discount from Kevin xd). The only drawback is that there is no path sign inside storage building, so you need to remember the path that the staff shows to you. Also there are steering carts help for moving, but they are hard to control. Overall, highly recommend!

I have been using Public Storage in Kits for 6 yeas and here are its positives: clean, well managed, good hours, and the staff always helpful. And if you need any supplies, the store is well stocked with boxes, tapes, wrapping etc. The location is essential for me: it's near bus routes and parking is easy if one is driving. Not sure how the rates compare to other storage lockers, but for me, it is worthwhile.

Visited this branch multiple times, staff is always welcoming and quite knowledgeable about their service range - storage units etc. When it comes to rental storage units, location is probably the main factor but if there is an x factor in this business, it's customer service for sure. They are always friendly, smiling and have that positive attitude. Will recommend this business for anyone near Kits area.

Public storage on west 3rd has been nothing but good to me. The staff is extremely friendly and always go above and beyond what is required of them. The storage itself is secure and easy to access. I’ve never had an issue here! Special shout-out to Michael and typhoon who I regularly see at the front desk. They are always willing to help. Definitely recommend this storage facility.

Good business but wish they would let me sign virtually instead of forcing me into sign during the pandemic. Outstanding service, location is very centric and the venue is brand new, clean and safe. Staff is very helpful over the phone and at the front desk. They helped me a lot in my relocation to Vancouver. The local managers Vincent, Kevin and Archana were tremendously helpful. I strongly recommend them.

Overall its well maintained and staff is helpful. Location is very convenient for me. Washrooms and moving carts are locked when the office is closed which can be inconvenient. Storage units seem really expensive but I haven't done any comparison shopping so this is probably typical for Vancouver.

Vincent was great, he helped me out with everything I needed and got me in and out quickly to catch my flight on time today. It was nice to be able to call and talk to someone over the phone especially on a Sunday. The unit is in a nice area and the building is very clean and secure.

Facilities are secured yet easy to access when needed. Large moving carts are readily available to help with move in/out. Stephen and Kevin are friendly and helpful. My husband, Mike, and I will, definitively use their services again if needed.

Process was seamless with great service (look for Mike and Vincent!) and reasonable pricing. 5am to 10pm access which is more flexible than other storage facilities. Min rental period is 1 month; and other price incentives for 6months + period.
