UPDATE: I had to go in and get prescriptions after my husband's surgery (We forgot to change to a different store) and we had to wait. I decided to get a few things and one being lunch meat from the deli. There were 2 people working, but they were at the sub station. One guy got in line at subs and then I approached the deli meat counter. Apparently selling subs was more important because they continued to help people that were coming up in that line. One of the girls, Deema from the front came to give them a note so I asked her for help as it had been 6 minutes with no one acknowledging me. She said the two working there would help. Then she said I can't help you. Then she proceeded to go speak with two gentlemen that appeared to be managers, one after the other and each time they looked at me. Still no one helped. 4 more minutes go by and I'm still not helped. Needless to say I left. What happened to customer service? She was the one rude to me before, but then for the managers not to even come over or even lend a hand...I just don't understand. I often find myself questioning why I go to this Publix. I have seen molded fruits and vegetables on the shelf multiple times. I have also had poor customer service, which is unexpected from Publix. One time I made a purchase based off of sale signs on Tyson chicken (freezer section). After our purchase I realized they didn't ring up on bogo so I brought my receipt back inside and the customer service person called another associate, Deema maybe a lead or a manager who went to go check the price. While waiting the CS associate said they have been having a lot of issues with it ringing up on sale. Deema came back and said they weren't on sale and argued it with me. I went back to the coolers to show her and all the sale signs were removed. She had the audacity to tell me there weren't any signs! Needless to say I went to my car and refunded my purchase. I have never been treated like that and was completely offended. My husband aften complains about their meat section. Many times the meat is fatty and so we go elsewhere to purchase. I do not recommend this Publix.

The manager needs to do some serious training. Publix got its reputation for having impeccable customer service. Today I witnessed your 10 items or less cashier humiliating and kicking a mother out of line because she had more than 10 items. Forcing her to take all of her items off the belt put them back in her cart with her child and go to a different line. Meanwhile, the cashier proceeded to stand there for 5 minutes with nobody else in the 10 items or less line. This is unbelievable, And frankly the worst service I've probably ever witnessed. Hope your cashier enjoyed her break from working while your customers went through the humiliation and hassle that she decided to put them through with a very nasty tone. Might want to go to a store that actually values their customers and keeps their employees paid. But great job making a mom shopping alone with a child life much more difficult today.

Terrible place to work. I applied here expecting to enjoy my experience, but their reputation as a great place to work is deceiving. I Unfortunately had to move soon after getting the job, and tried to transfer. They blocked my transfer, which caused me to limit my availability because of transportation. After I did that, they retaliated by limiting my hours so severely that I couldn't even pay rent or buy food to survive. Absolutely the worst job I have ever had. Oh, and the deli manager Eunice, is terrible. Talk about micro management. " Where working is a pleasure " Not at this store. Also, stay away from the deli. The chicken is kept out all day in the kitchen right next to the dish sink and kept heated.

As always, I have found Publix to be clean, well lit, and not smelling of spoiled fruits and veggies like so many markets do. Their associates are always polite, friendly, and helpful. The quality of the Publix brand of foods is comparable to the large brand name items. Their sale items are at a good discount and bogos are always great! I also had to visit the Pharmacy today for a vaccine booster and the Pharmacist did an excellent job of counseling and administering the injection. As a nurse myself, I was impressed. I TOTALLY LOVE PUBLIX!!

I love Publix! They have the best sub sandwiches ever! The subs are better than Subway, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse etc….. they are so worth the money and they are very generous with the toppings and pile them on high! The bread is fresh and delicious…. No one beats their subs! My favorite is the chicken tender sub….it fills you up it’s so big! I love all of Publix hot food items as well, also their groceries. And at this location, the customer service is excellent…..so they get five stars from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Growing up in Florida I've become accustomed to Publix as a very pleasurable shopping experience with more than helpful associates. This Publix seems to have lost its mission, I ambled around the store looking for something, lingered around the customer service desk, spinning about while obviously looking for something but was never asked if I could be helped. The two people at the counter were obviously too busy with their work to look up. I've been a Publix customer for 50 years and will not go into this store again.

the service is good the employee are friendly but the food i don't think it fresh, i bought buffalo chicken sandwich in this morning and it's still hot but when I open it I smell something bad but I don't have time to eat it yet so I keep it in the refrigerator until dinner I open it again and omg I'm glad that I check it first before I bite, that sandwich most be expired for long time ago! It's first time in my life that I bought food from American store and it's was terrible!

Called the pharmacy less than an hour before close with a prescription I had forgotten to refill and I was completely out. They were able to fill immediately and I picked up quickly. The pharmacist was kind and did not appear to be bothered by my forgetfulness. It was not only great to get what I needed but also very nice not to be treated unkindly for calling so late in the day. Great customer service!

I love Publix, and this is a really good one . Prices aren't as low as the competition in some cases, but the service, selection and quality all exceed any price disparity. It is the people there that really make it shine. The lady who helped me with self checkout was a kind as a person can be, and the young man that assisted my wife with the groceries was a credit to his generation. Yay Publix.

This 5 stars goes to the lady prepared my subs , we normally place orders online in this specific location , but lately our orders always had been incomplete or missing topics, but we gave it another try yesterday evening and luckily the sandwiches where perfect! And a good time as well , I think the lady's name is Melissa, I hope she staying making the sandwiches because she is absolutely awesome.

I used their catering services for four days for our church conference. Everything was done the best way possible! They advised me of the menu; they delivered every lunch and dinner on time; they were flexible to make adjustments. This Publix Catering team provides the BEST SERVICE ! I can't say THANK YOU ENOUGH.! Our guests were very pleased ! I recommend Publix catering service 100% !

Went to the deli, waited in line for 15 minutes and when i went to order the csr said they were out of what i wanted and it would be 15 minutes until they had what i wanted. I feel like they should let people in line know if they are waiting on something that isnt prepared. Some of us on lunch dont have a long time to wait. Absolutely horrible service with poor management. Today I went in to get donuts and they looked horrible when I confronted the manager and told him the other stores donuts at Publix looked fine he told me they were doing it wrong and that theirs were correct he was very confrontational. And their bakery never has fresh product. Better off trying the new Winn-Dixie

No one seems to have worked there very long. No one asks if they can help you (and seemingly all actively avoid engaging customers or fielding questions,) no free cookie for little kids, no free fruit options for kids, no sunflower seed bread, no quesadillas in premade meals, don't accept requests. Publix has fallen from grace and hard over the last few years.

This Publix is just as expected, clean and welcoming. But we need help in the Deli, I ordered a sandwich online for pickup 45 minutes later and still had to wait another 30 minutes in the store when I showed up. It wasn’t even made. The lady was very nice but it’s been happening with almost every Publix’s Deli in every city I’ve been this year.

This is a nice neighborhood Publix. It's not as big as some of the new stores, but it makes up for it with a friendly staff and good product selection. Years later, it still looks like a Harris Teeter and I'm not sure why the store moved from the San Jose and Orange Picker location to this one. However, it lives up to the Publix reputation.

It is a good and clean store. They present themselves very well. I just can't give them 5 stars after what they put us through during the start of the pandemic, and allowing people to panic buy without having policies in place to prevent shelves from going bare. Its just my opinion, of course. I still shop there and will continue to do so.

Bakery needs all hands on deck on the weekend! Two people in the middle of a Saturday is not enough. I've been coming here since I was a teenager (usually when visiting family) and last week was the only negative visit I've had. The cashier had super long nails and brown hair with no name on the nametag- but she completely squished my pub-subs when pushing them on the belt and had really no regard for hospitality either.

I witnessed the person in the seafood dept who was adding more PEELED SHRIMP to the display counter dropped a shrimp on the floor pick it up and threw it on the tray and put on display he knew I saw it. l told a floor manager he just shook his head and kept walking I WILL NEVER BUY SEAFOOD FROM THEM EVER AGAIN

I notice the employees don’t smile and don’t look at you to say “Hi” as they had in prior months. And there are a lot of new employees, seems like different ones every time I go in. Could it be a toxic and hostile workplace with this type of behavior? It just doesn’t have the pleasant shopping feel.

Always clean & the staff is helpful. Publix also has great deals if you spend a little bit of extra time to learn some of the tricks to saving money shopping here. The customer service is always top notch, which is incredibly important to me when I’m spending large amounts of money with a business.

Very friendly staff. Everyone is usually smiling at you, and if you need help there's always something willing to assist you. Prices are a little bit higher than a big competitor down the street, but I believe the atmosphere pays off sometimes. On the other hand, sometimes they have good deals too.

Workers are very friendly but the deli needs to get it together. Standing there by the chicken and being ignored is not how I expect to be treated at Publix. I watched about 4 employees walk by me and not a single one acknowledged me. The person behind me says that do that all the time.

This shift to self checkout is weird, there isn't enough room and if the person in charge of the self checkout is just standing there staring at me scan, bag and re-cart my groceries what's the point. The cashier's should be against it... The robutts are taking thar jerbs

I ordered from the deli and 30 minutes later they didn't have the order. I reordered and my husband went in the store to pick it up and they still didn't have it. It took three attempts to order macaroni and cheese from this store before I was able to get it. smh …

Been coming here for years It is a great place to shop, although the bakery has gone down over the years. Update: nothing has changed since covid like everywhere else they have been out of lots of stuff. Upadate7/10: Still out of some stuff but getting better

The store itself is great. The customers are rude. After an old lady verbally assaulted my daughter and I in line because we were waived in a new line before her she then rammed her cart into my ankles after we paid and has now caused massive bruising.

Don't bother ordering online and specifying the way you want your deli items sliced. Every time I order online and specify thin they cut it as thick as possible because they are lazy . Wish there was a better alternative over this publix .

The bakery made the puppy dog cake for me today and my friend was able to pick it up so quickly. Such professionals that decorate cakes at This publix. I ordered online out of state and it was so convenient and fast. Thank you so much.

Unfortunately this Publix deli is the worst I’ve been to. The majority of the salads are made with iceberg and they’re soggy. They protein bowls are half the size of every other Publix deli and they’re potato wedges are always old.

Publix is my favorite grocery store. They have almost all of the healthier options that a Whole Foods has but much cheaper this is a smaller location so they don’t have everything that I need but still gets the job done.

Different layout then what I'm used to. Looks like it used to be an old Harris Teeter. As always clean store, well stocked and friendly associates. Self check out was fun. Just another Publix to add to my happy places.

Prices are a little higher here than the other local food stores but prices are generally lower than prices in New York. :) Clean, well-organized and generally friendly staff are a plus. And about mile from my home.

Store had leaks everywhere, CS head manager was quick to jump to conclusions and didn't properly get to know my issue. CS team aside from that was really nice, had a great conversation with the cashier and bagger!

Since this Publix added the self service check out lanes, their service level has diminished a great deal. It's sad because this has been my favorite place to shop for over 20 years (since it was a Harris Teeter).

The fellow are completely rufe and will run you over. And look down their nose as they walk past... Such a rude want to be high class area. Go to the nest if you are not wanting to be ran over and pushed

Like OTHER Publix stores ensure your teenage cashiers and baggers open there mouth and greet the customers that are spending money that helps pay their check!!! I don't care how "long" their day is!!

This is my usual Publix and is always very clean when I visit. The people are always helpful and kind. I have used the pharmacy multiple times and have always received exceptional customer service.

Just came here shortly after the city has been reopening and it was quite busy. Nonetheless, my cashier Ellie was super kind and helpful and efficient, and made it a very notably good experience!

Clean store well organized, but you MUST watch how thing ring up or you'll get hosed! Many sale/bogo items don't ring up that way and your paying full price if you don't pay attention.

Bar none, the best publix in Jacksonville. They always have sale items in stock and never have long lines to check out or at lottery. I drive past Winn-Dixie to get here. Top notch.

Very clean. Easy to find what I needed. Customer service/ cashier was very nice. The gentleman was so helpful in helping me with my groceries out to my car. I can only lift 2 lbs.

Parking is good with an easy on off to San Jose. Clean well stocked store with good staff. Prices higher than Walmart but great selection as well as best bread bakery in the area.

This location is Friendly and Clean. The Candy isle is a little lacking and the Deli is sometimes overwhelmed but overall this is a great location.
