I'm sorry, I have to vent about our new publix. Visited Northpoint this afternoon around 1600 hours. Me and my grand-daughter went to the deli for some chicken nuggets. There were none on the serving line. We patiently waited for an employee to help us. A young employee spoke to us, asking what he could help us with. I asked for a chicken nugget tub. He turned around and picked up a tub off the counter behind him and handed it to me. As I was handing it to my grand-daughter, I noticed the package was not warm but rather luke warm. It was also wrapped in plastic wrap. Something we have never seen before. I turned back to him and asked for different one because is was cold. He stated, oh no, I just took them out of the warmer. I said, then why is there plastic wrap on it? He said, it's there to keep the heat in. That's why it feels cold.......Ummmm. What? I asked again, if I could get another/different one. He again stated that he just took them out of the warmer. I handed it back to my grand-Daughter and she then stated it was the hot and spicy one. I then noticed this as well. Turned back to the employee and inquired about it again, asking for another one. He stated for the third time, no I just took it out of the warmer and it wasn't hot and spicy. I sat the container back on the counter and stated that I was just asking for a different one. I told him, there is another publix 5 minutes away and that I would go there. As I walked away a junior manager noticed the situation and asked if I wanted the chicken nuggets. At that point, no I don't want your product. I have tried numerous times to ask for something different only to be rejected each time. I told the manager no thank you and left. We would go to the neighboring publix. I walked out and returned a few minutes later. I'm tired of there not being or lack there of, customer service. I spoke to the produce manager about the situation. I'm not trying to get an employee fired, but trained. Is it too much to ask that an employee treat a customer with respect? My oldest stepson has complained about the lack of product availablity of this publix during peak hours since it has opened. I haven't noticed it until today. Looking back, we always have to wait during the hours of 1600-1800 for things to be prepared. I understand this is the rush hour, but maybe this should be addressed better. I was really excited for another publix in the area and super excited to see the upgraded design and overall layout of this location; however, after todays interaction with this employee, we will be visiting the publix on Duval Station. Our old publix. I don't hold this employees actions against Publix as an organization, nor the other employees at that location. I just choose to go to the other publix because of his actions. It's a shame that customer service has dropped off of so many employees radar in the last few years. There are other options, I chose one today. Don

Until they solve the curbside pickup parking spot problem this will be a 1 star. I pay $100 a year for the service. Nearly every single time I arrive to pick up my order the spots are taken by entitled inconsiderate shoppers who are too lazy to park in the hundreds of open spots available that might force them to walk an extra few yards. It's disgusting to see people doing it with zero repercussions. They almost always have employees in the parking lot and they just let it happen to avoid conflict. But it completely inconveniences me, because I have to find a way to confirm my arrival and this will invariably require me to have a negative social experience and I have outrageous social anxiety. There are solutions to this problem. Ikea has the curbside pickup on the side of the store to prevent problems like this. Whatever their solution it will REQUIRE enforcement. We live in a society. At the least they could post someone to monitor the spots, ready to get the pickup order. If they identify the customer is just using the parking spot because they are lazy then CONFRONT THEM and make them park somewhere else. Stop being soft. You're letting it happen.

The deli is a absolutely trash, the food is fine but the staff is horrific. Epically Chloe and Susan, both are incompetent and don't not need to be in the service industry. I ordered two whole white chicken tender subs and after Chloe pulled two pieces of bread she told me it would be a 20 min wait as she was about to cut them. I said wait on cutting so it wouldn't go stale and then moved to the back of the line so she could take more customers. I watched her give both pieces of white bread away and the next customer ordered white bread and she said they were out for the day and the whole time Susan was not behind the counter. Instead she was chatting up a customer all buddy buddy like she didn't have a line of people and multiple to go orders.

Deli.. understaffed for lunch hour!! Only two people at 12:45! Falafel sub takes at least 10 minutes to thaw/cook! Ingredients kept elsewhere in store along with the hummus & taziki sauce, causing staff to leave area! We were told to go shop n come back, explained what we wanted on it an told it'd be ready in 10 minutes! Returned in 15 minutes, had to get in line.. staff who took the order, waited on two people ahead of us then left for break BEFORE giving us our order.. leaving ONE staff!! Sub had not even been made at that point!!!!! We were in a time crunch and this one sub took over 30 minutes to get!!! Will not be using their deli again!!

Always friendly and helpful but in particular, I had recently undergone cervical spinal surgery and stopped in to pick up a couple of items. While making my way through the isles, I was approached by several different employees asking if they could help me. When I got to the register, a manager, possibly assistant manager, said, "we will unload your basket, just sit back and we will also help you out to your care and help you load it. " You don't know how great that made me feel. People may not always remember the particular facts of a situation, but they will always remember how a situation made them feel. Thank you for that memory.

My family travels pass two close by Publix's just to shop at this one. It is fairly new and it is a great pleasure to shop here. Everyone is so friendly and helpful...plus the items they have here is top-notch. I've found some very unique finds here at this particular location. They have a nice upstairs lounging area for employees, and I assume customers to sit eat and relax, looking over the entire store. Pickup orders are all brought to customer service in the front of the store, so there is no walking around to each department to get your order. Thank you for an awesome shopping experience during my visits. 5 stars all the way!

Usually our shopping experience is a good one. The people are always friendly and helpful. With that being said, the Deli mgr at this store obviously has His priorities wrong. When you place a deli order online and it confirms ready in 30 minutes, well its should be. Did our shopping and it was not ready even after 45 minutes after the due time. People at the sandwich line were being helped by multiple people, but the poor guy cutting luncemeat was by himself. Not the 1st time, this happens regularly. Get it together Publix. Growing tired of this and I'm surely not alone.

Hey so it's a Publix you know everything you'd expect from a brand new Publix. Wide aisles, bright lights, well stocked, great produce, great meat department, friendly helpful employees who appear to actually like working there, you know it's a Publix. The bakery and the deli are a little small and scaled down from what you'd expect in an older Publix The selections were quite a bit smaller but it was there. This seems to be the trend with the newer Publix that I've been to in the last few months.

Publix is the best. It is not the most economic but if you want quality, they have it. The employees treat everyone great and seem to always go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. I do not like to buy seafood at supermarkets, but I would here; everything I go by the seafood area, all of the product looks well attended to and fresh (I am sure it isn't the freshest, but it looks it). The produce and fruit is almost always in optimum shape, and variety is great!!!

This Publix is very clean and well stocked. The store has a different layout from most other locations, featuring an open, freestanding deli with fresh hot bar and great sandwich station. They also have an upstairs veranda with chairs and bunches for you to enjoy your lunch. It has large picture windows overlooking the horizon! As always the employees were very helpful and accommodating and they have plenty of great sales on bogo items.

You can tell that they take care of this place, this Publix is really clean and you never really see a lot of people with boxes all over the place like Walmart, it's never super crowded and over run by people. I would say some of the selection is a little limited and maybe a little more expensive, but you're paying for the nice environment and the good products. So I do suggest using their rewards programs if they have them

Nice place and stocked well but horrible management as soon as we walked into the store we proceeded towards the deli to grab a couple things for dinner and there was two managers standing there a man and a woman standing there talking about us and the woman then followed us through the store just very unprofessional and kinda sad there are people like that in a management position at this store.

My favorite Publix in the area! I go there very often and it's always a great shopping experience. Employees are friendly, the store is very well furnished. The bakery and the deli section are very good! Publix is the only place where I finally found some decent pancetta and mortadella (I'm from Italy) and also cannoli. Not crazy about the sushi, too bad! My baby loves the kid carts! Lol!

Stopped for a bite to eat like a sandwich that went good then I asked to get some chicken stripes and I was told that they couldn't get that for me that I had to move to the hot bar. I said you can't just reach in and get me some chicken stripes said no. I was like wow no one was waiting in line after me and it was a manager. So I left and it just screwed me up...never going back there

I always have a great experience at any Publix I go to. Everyone is so sweet. But this particular location really needs more than one person running the sub section. We ordered online and waited almost 30 minutes for our subs, with one guy working. I feel bad for him making orders for people waiting along with online orders.

Super nice. Very clean and they have different flavors of chicken wings than just the fried that most Publix have. They also have way more on there menu as far as deli dinners. 1 down fall the bakery is allllll the way in the far back corner of the store. Kinda strange marketing strategy but hey guess they know best right

Really nice store, brand new so there is that. They have the bakery in the back corner, not sure I like that, I prefer the bakery close to the deli, as I do most of my shopping in that area. Staff is not as friendly as other locations I visit, still for me Publix is my favorite place for groceries.

I love it! Friendly, not crowded, clean and close, literally a minute from my house. My little girl loves getting cookies from the bakery. They even offer a fresh cutie orange or banana in produce for the little ones. I would have never known had it not been for one of the friendly associates!

This is by far the best Publix in the whole region/FLORIDA ! You will find people with high end vehicles and people with money as the only REAL job market is in this area ! It's very high end in comparison to Jacksonville Beach, which has nothing but poor folk who harrass you for money !

Probably one of the nicest looking Publix supermarkets in Jacksonville they have a beautiful balcony area where you can actually go up and eat lunch very beautiful building and Publix is always a great place to go for lunch or dinner and you can get all of your grocery needs met

Recently I have noticed how unconnected the members of Publix..Lately I hear "I don't know" when asking a out products. There seems to be an overall sadness with staff. The deli at lunch time generally never has fried chicken, roasted chicken or tenders. I call before I go....

The deli manger Kevin is a great guy & leader that always goes above & beyond to offer help! He makes any visits & ordering an absolute pleasure. I wish it was more people that work like him in the world. I hope he is appreciated there, as much as the customers appreciate him.

These are catfish dinners. Disgusting. This is not the first time I have gotten partially raw food. I called the store and told the customer service manager, all she said was hmm, no apologies, nothing. I asked if I could send pics, she said no. It's a shame they don't care.

This place is clean and the deli is awesome. You can tell they know to prioritize the deli due to the popularity of their chicken and subs. There is a second floor balcony for sitting and enjoying your pub sub. The balcony looks out over the parking lot and the store.

New Publix on the Northside. Has the deli, sushi and ready to eat food right in the front of the store. They also have a eating area up stairs. Very nice! Check it out! Picked up some dragon fruit, mangos and star fruit. Pretty good for a large company store.

I usually have a good experience here but the guy working self checkout tonight was rude and unprofessional when I had a problem with the scanner maybe he was having a bad night but that kind of attitude over a minor problem was completely unacceptable

It's bigger than the Publix at Duval Station, they layout is different as well. However it is nice and clean. I like how the warm food and deli section is set up. And to be completely honest I like the second floor eating area and people watching.

The store is nice and the Seafood Department is awesome. Although you pay extra to have shrimp deveined, it's always great to have them take and give me my order with a smile. Because if you've ever deveined shrimp, you know it's not a fun task.

Seven went above and beyond to help us find Non-Dairy heavy whipping cream (helped us search and then found us at the register to give us the product once located). We appreciate that time, effort, and excellent customer service. Thank you!!!

Kudos to the gentleman and his trainee at the deli/lunch meat counter for actually caring about the customers service, excellent job. The Sushi looked great I bought some but cannot say the same for Chicken Fingers, or lack thereof.

Not only do they keep a great store but when I had a flat tire, a customer service person got the manager and changed my flat tire. Speaks volumes for the caliber of the people who work here and why this store is managed so well.

My large order was taken out to and loaded in van by a very pleasant young man. I'm partially disabled with mobility issues. Appreciated history caring manner. He opened and closed the driver's door for me and loaded my walker.

This location is the bomb and will do alot of business. I love the teriyaki bowl and sushi department. The layout is awesome and get you at the front door. Location is within walking distance from the home.

Best Publix in Jacksonville. The deli is the best, we stop in weekly for Pub subs and fresh deli items. The deli service is always friendly, fast, and accurate and you get great value for your money.

This is my go to Publix. A store that is clean, with wide open space, along with a huge selection...is always a plus. With great customer service, this is why I shop at Publix.
