"Consistently bad customer service: 1) Prepaid my Rx, so it would be quick - after waiting in line 10 minutes, tech said he didn't handle prepaid, and told me to see someone else; 2) pre-ordered subs - 10 minutes after they were supposed to be done, I found out they hadn't even noticed the order; 3) tried to get cash back at register - cashier said they couldn't do cash back when tapping the credit card, and I'd have to refund the order, or pay for cash at their cash machine; 4) in the past 3 months, they've been out of Publix 2 liter diet sodas 2/3 of my visits; 5) two items on sale or with coupons apparently aren't even stocked; 6) frozen cherries, which we bought weekly, are no longer stocked, and we have to get them at other Publix"
"Best place to get prescriptions"
Still looking for water last day of the sale. Also issue were charged for food item as cash purchased snuggle product & dove products also used coupon off on both .Food purchase was with food stamps. When I had ck out receipt food only run up for $2.00 & I had over &7 in food with nothing costing $2. So since I pd over $11 in cash not to hold up line, went to manager that was near bye & showed him receipt ,& advised him what happened he noted their was a problem but didn't know what happen & didn't try to resolve what happening. It may seem like a small deal to them but as a senior on a fixed income it's important to me & others that have worked for years. I worked for 45 yrs & I'm 70 years old. I have never received food stamps & was thankful when advised could apply for stamps & I use them wisely. This is why I'm detailing this because if my head wasn't hurting I would have requested transactions be cancelled & not purchase from their because this has happen before. Also, they had no water either . Maybe old but all of us not slow & do better to your customers ☹️
I have been a loyal Publix shopper for over 20 years and most often shop at the Publix on Roosevelt Blvd. Over the years it has become extremely expensive to shop Publix, with it becoming almost to the point of gouging, particularly post COVID. Up until now, I have overlooked all of this as it has always been a better shopping experience. The last several times I've left the Publix at Roosevelt, however have left me questioning my decisions. This particular location is not nearly as clean as it used to be. It is always out of advertised sale items. Today, an employee was standing next to one which I asked about. She rudely responded to my question that she would have to look through a huge stack of bins or that I'd just have to come back. Publix should be properly stocked, particularly on advertised sale items. Additionally, it rarely has ample cashier lines open. They are obviously attempting to push the self serve lanes. If one is having to wait on him/herself, why pay the price to go "where shopping is a pleasure"?
I consistently utilize the catering menu for work and family event. Every time I place my order days or even weeks in advance, my order is never complete when I arrive. Multiple times I have had to wait 25 mins or more for my catering orders to be ready. And there is always a lot of confusion. Multiple people ask to see my online receipt proving my order meaning they haven’t actually even started my order and need to know the details in order to complete it. I have chosen many different pick up times in hopes of this not happening. I love Publix and the food is fantastic. I just think their catering department is never given enough time to prepare or is the system not organized to recognize when orders should be produced? Todays order was finally ready after 29 minutes. Someone walked by and said “are you still waiting? She finished your last tray 10 mins ago”. Now I get to be late for the event and the tray we waited so long for looks awful and thrown together.
Consistently bad customer service: 1) Prepaid my Rx, so it would be quick - after waiting in line 10 minutes, tech said he didn't handle prepaid, and told me to see someone else; 2) pre-ordered subs - 10 minutes after they were supposed to be done, I found out they hadn't even noticed the order; 3) tried to get cash back at register - cashier said they couldn't do cash back when tapping the credit card, and I'd have to refund the order, or pay for cash at their cash machine; 4) in the past 3 months, they've been out of Publix 2 liter diet sodas 2/3 of my visits; 5) two items on sale or with coupons apparently aren't even stocked; 6) frozen cherries, which we bought weekly, are no longer stocked, and we have to get them at other Publix. All this in one trip. Avoid this store at all costs.
Best place to get prescriptions. I have been going there for years, and the staff is great. There has been a few times I had to use a discount card because my insurance company's system was down and they couldn't bill it. If you have a few different prescription discounts and you want to see which one has the best price, they are very accommodating and will check them for you. Highly recommend The pharmacy and shopping is so easy as they always have enough lanes open so your not standing in line forever. The Publix pharmacy app is also great. You can put in refills and prepay for prescriptions that are ready. The regular Publix app also shows all the deals and BOGOs. The app also has a lot of different coupons you can clip and use when paying.
It's a decent store and has a nice selection. Subs have been good. Parking is atrocious. Shoppers are very aggressive. Tonight I waited for fried chicken wings, brought them home and they tasted terrible. Had a very distinct smell, similar to cigarettes. We had to take them back, which is really inconvenient due to the aforementioned parking and travel time. That's twice I've had difficulty with their chicken. Prices are not very reasonable but they do have just about everything and it is stocked. Good customer service as well.
Great grocery store for all the essentials! I always buy my flowers from this Publix. They last forever! It's a smaller store so while they have all the high-traffic items like bananas, etc., they often don't have the exact flavor or size you're after. (Think Cheezit flavors or shampoo varieties). Parking can be a major pain so just take the first spot you see. Still, the staff are always super friendly, the store is clean, and the lines are never too long.
I use Publix pharmacy and have never had any issues. Only twice in about 13 years has the pharmacy been out of the medications I get on a monthly basis. They immediately ordered it from another location. The employees in the pharmacy are absolute sweethearts, always available to answer questions, and even though they only see me once or twice a month, I get treated in a way that feels like a special type of treatment. I have a great experience every time.
Mostly it's easy shopping in there, especially now that they have the parking lot almost finished (or at least passable.) The deli/seafood and bakery employees are amazing for the most part; they put on that happy face to cater to customers, and let's be honest, we all know they're not making what they're worth! Dealing with the snobby Ortega house wives day in and out.... Ughk. You all deserve a raise! Keep up the good work ❤️
It's OK don't see what all the hype is about. Went in there because my job gave me a gift card. To purchase some things for my house. I have a total of $35 in gift cards, and I have my publix app as my tool for shopping So to make a long story short, I still had to put money with my gift card and I only had a few item and a deli sandwich combo and my total was $54.89
It’s always a good day to go t Publix and pick up some olives from the olive bar. We enjoy the many varieties and flavors. My personal favorite is the stuffed olives. The staff is always helpful and warm. We also enjoy the delicious deli freshly made subs and all the fixings. You can never go wrong with choosing Publix. The only downside to Publix is they charge such high prices.
This store is not very friendly to people. The employee Naomy was extremely rude. She treats the customers very badly and thinks it's ok. Then made a joke about making me wait for her with her fellow employee Helen. If you are not white they treat you badly here and it's sad. Money is green. I'll stick to the riverside location. Thanks for your "great" service Naomy!
Called to check on time prescriptions would be filled. Told my husbands was filled at another pharmacy but couldn't tell us where. Went to pick up mine which wasn't ready when they told me either. Then instead of telling us where my husband's was over the phone when we called, he was able to tell us it was filled 20 miles away. Terrible customer service.
Shopping at Publix is always a delight, their store brand stuff is better than most name-brand products. The pharmacy is a breath of fresh air if you've ever had to deal with places like Walgreens or CVS. Probably not the number one choice if your apartment shopper, but their frequent two-for-one are always a welcome find. Highly recommended
The overall store is great but the pharmacy ♀️ I got my tooth pulled and went to retrieve my medicine the pharmacy tech (Claude) definitely made me feel uncomfortable I’ve used Publix for many years over 10, and never had to show identification! I mean never! I won’t be using there pharmacy anymore but the store is great ! …
Went to pick up kid cake and at first I was nervous because it seemed like they didn’t make it. But once everything was sorted out the cake was made already and it was exactly what I expected. TO ADD TO IT… how is the ice cream cake better than cold stone creamery. Like YUM good job BAKERY. Very polite employees as well.
It's a nice store but the prices are horrendous! You feel very gouged when you go through the checkout. Prices at our Krogers in Virginia are less than half your prices. What's the difference? Publix everywhere is gouging people horribly. My son lives in Florida and I was shocked at their prices.
I have never been to a Publix I haven't liked and this one is no exception. Everyone here is always friendly and they've never have been out of whatever I'm looking for. And on a side note Publix is one of the few (if not the only one) company or instution that I don't have a disdain for
I shop at Publix on Roosevelt Blvd at least once every week and consistently enjoy a positive outcome. Everything from the excellent quality and value of merchandise, the fresh produce, and the professional and friendly associates always ensures a pleasurable shopping experience.
Usually this publix does not disappoint but yesterday I got a 1lb bowl of cut up fruit and all of the pineapple chunks in it where the core. so hard I could hardly bite it. Also the other fruit is mushy and soft like they are using old fruit and putting a different date on it.
Went to Publix just to renew my car tag & I would rather do it at Publix, took less than 10 minutes versus going to the tax collector office, simple & quick just make sure you have the renewal paper, but if you have moved then prepare yourself for the tax collector office
This location carries lots of great items that I can't find at any other Publix in town so I love shopping at this one. Big big perk to this location is that it has a registration renewal kiosk inside. I renewed my tag a couple weeks ago in five minutes!
Very nice location. Especially for the Westside. It's usually very busy especially during lunch hours. So if you're in a hurry this is not the location to choose for a quick anything... Always clean. Employees helpful. Just packed all the time..
I almost always order the subs online because during the lunch time I don't have time to wait, in this store I think there are problems with the "interpretation" of the orders. Last week I ordered a whole sub and they made me half, today in
Courtney, in the deli, resolved a situation that was had. Courtney was very friendly, professional & polite; she concluded the problem with great managerial skills, although I think she mentioned she's not in management. Thank you Courtney!
I was so taken aback today with my experience at the deli. There were two older women making subs on 7/29 around 1pm. I witnessed them blatantly disrespect every customer but one who ordered a sub with just meat and cheese on it.. making a
Pre-ordered a Pulled Pork meal to ready at 10:45 am. Got there at 11:10 and it still wasn't ready. Gave me a 12 pack of Hawaiian rolls with 3 rolls missing. Mac and cheese were stone cold and had only 1 kind of BBQ sauce. I had paid online
I don't normally leave review especially bad ones but I need to bring this to someone's attention and I'm having no luck getting in touch or letting them know kn their sight and I know it will be seen this way. I just got lunch from the
Always busy, this store never slows down. The store is clean, the staff is always friendly and cheerful and helpful. The parking lot is a nightmare, though. I have seen much larger, nicer Publix stores, but this one is usually adequate.
Love shopping here! They always have the products I want. The sales and online coupons help me save money. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I drive from a different part of the city to shop at this Publix.
I asked for the bread to b toasted BEFORE adding the ingredients and to make the bacon crispy but they didn't do any of that and the lettuce and tomatoes were cooked into a soupy soggy inedible mess! Doesn't even rate a 1!
I call up there just a few minutes ago and Sabrina was very courteous and nice to me I was calling by dry ice and she actually went to look to see if y'all had dry ice And yall didn't Tell Sabrina Tasha and thank you again
Great store and pharmacy. Customer service at its best. I see people just giving these employees a hard time they should be ashamed of themselves how the act over food. What if was thier family member are they ok them.
I love Publix, I don't make much money, but I love Quality, I can pay my bill and still have time to shop I don't mind paying for products that may cost more, Staff is most courteous and considerate worth my time
Roosevelt Publix used to be the absolute best. Now it’s disgusting. Most of the patrons are just gross and some of the employees aren’t far behind. I would not be surprised by gang shootings in the parking lot.
Paid alot of money to have a Thanksgiving that was stress free. And the food was sooooo bad it ended up being more stressful then any year I can remember. Had better tasting food in Duval County jail.
A cheerful place to shop with almost everything I need. Well stocked aisles. Reliable for most needs except distilled water, which is a need I have. This product is scarce in all local Publix stores.
This is a smaller Publix. Parking is a big problem due to the small lot with tight spots. But the store is clean and generally well-stocked. Produce is good quality. Bakery and deli are excellent.
Hands down the best Publix in all the land. It’s a busy store and we’ll stocked and staffed. Employees are always ready to help. Special nod to the folks in the deli/cheese and produce areas!!
Local shopper here! I really hope you start carrying more of the Kevin's Natural Foods selection! I went in today and the lemongrass chicken was out unfortunately but id love to see more!
Love the bogo deals and the atmosphere. Major plus this location has a pharmacy for my medical needs as well. Thank you for being available wherever I live Publix. Forever a customer ❤️
Food prices are really great and I love the freshly baked Lemon pepper chicken ready to eat Thank You Publix on Roosevelt BLVD!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ …
Can you really go wrong with ANY Publix?? Stopped in to get some tailgating food before the Georgia Florida game! Well stocked and friendly staff even though they were incredibly busy!
I wish I could send you the pic of the Publix employee in the watermelon costume giving out watermelon samples at Roosevelt Hwy and San Juan. What a terrific way to enter the store!!!
Quick, easy, and friendly! Definitely switching to this pharmacy after poor experience with another company. Sade was a delight, and the pharmacist answered my question.
I bought these apples yesterday for work And they were brown when I bit into them. Nothing but green bananas on the shelves. I guess be going to Winn Dixie from now on
It’s always a battle for a spot in this parking lot. There are also always tons of people inside at all times. It’s a good Publix. I just wish it weren’t so crowded.
It would be a 4 star or 5 star but it's such a crowded urban area that you feel like you are trading paint with other people during a NASCAR race when shopping
Great place to grab a fresh sub from the deli. I suggest you use the online ordering app if your planing on a fast checkout after 5pm. It gets very busy …
Besides the great atmosphere and the awesome deli. Publix is the best place to find your future wife only beautiful women seem to shop there and work
Love this place..Great prices & let's be honest everything is beautiful here...lol A bit overpriced But quality is what you'll always get coming here
The first time ever going to this Publix, it was clean, cashier was friendly went through the line quickly. Parking lot very busy. Overall, not bad.
I just stopped in to play some lottery from the machine. I was in and out but I love going to the bakery and deli. The food is always good.
Awesome experience today…from the pharmacy to the deli, everyone was on their game! So friendly and professional! Keep up the great work!
Publix makes the best cakes and wings. Publix has so much to offer and their staff is people friendly with excellent customer service!
Excellent Publix location that is always busy. Fresh produce, flowers, and wine! Love their selection of Publix made items and subs.
Always clean and excellent service of course. Prices are not the lowest but it's more of a pleasure to shop at Publix. …
Publix is convenient, clean and friendly. Unfortunately, their prices are higher than other stores, so I "shop around."
Publix is THE BEST for customer service. Clean, well stocked, with plenty of variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood.
It's publix, so you know it'd going to be great! Another clean, well-stocked store full of friendly and helpful staff
Always enjoy going to Publix to have the best fruit and vegetables I think and the customer service is like no other
Great friendly staff! Staff are welcoming and alway willing to help or assist. One of my favorite Publix to shop.
Four employees here, this morning, treated me horribly. I already spoke to the manager. I am not likely to return.
Classic Publix vibe. The new old classic. I miss the days of Publix murals but that's a bygone era...
very nice short girl with black hair helped me find an item. she was very nice ☺️ will be coming back
It's a pleasure not having to wait for a mart cart. Cashiers and bag boys were courteous and helpful.
I work at 6:31 Publix and it’s so awesome. I love the people, my staff and the management they rock.
One of my favorites. Nice size. Friendly staff. Go earlier and practically have the run of the place
Has what I need at late hours. Like the automated lotto machine. Wished there was a rewards option.
Busy store but you still get in and out quickly. Self check out is the real employee of the month!
My wife and I have shopped at Publix for years, but were disappointed at the lack of cleanliness.
Nice and clean very nice staff. Love the fresh popcorn spend about 20.00 a week on popcorn …
Awesome for my opinion and I'm sure for other's as well been going there faras 15 teen years
Love this publix! Very nice people and very clean, good selections, and pharmacy is great!!
I enjoyed my provisions procurement there this afternoon. very packed, but I felt well.
Hey, you're not fighting for parking like the Riverside location, so I call that a win!
Knowledgeable, helpful employees that if you ask where an item is, they take you to it.
decent selections of food items, clean store environment, polite , knowledgeable staff.
I go here for my prescriptions mainly, but everyone there is super nice. Deli is good
Had trouble finding a few things but a young lady that worked there was very helpful
Luv My Publix! Always clean and the people are all always friendly and glad to help
They definitely do money orders lol!!!! It was so quick I was asking “Is that it?
Service is always a 10 and of course the quality of food is always on point!
Great Grocery store! Food and Service are excellent. Parking is good.
We are from Pa. First time there great store awesome fried chicken.
