Subway station
"2 stars out of 5 stars only because this station has no AC"
"Can be a busy station"
"One of the busiest subway station in downtown"
"The staff member in the booth on Monday (1Aug) evening around 9pm just ignored my polite question about if he knew the location of the washroom"
"It is a little complicated at first to get to the northbound platform of the Queen Station on the subway - I recommend checking to the right and left of the ticket booths to find the stairs and passageway from Queen Station to get to the northbound platform"
2 stars out of 5 stars only because this station has no AC. On the hottest days of the year, do not expect any refreshing air to help cool your over dilated pores. You'll be sweating buckets within seconds before the train arrives. Even then, you're thinking/hoping the wind from the passing train will help. Nope, just hot/humid air, making sure you get that last dose of itself before entering that AC filled train. Please do something about this TTC before someone (me) passes out?
Can be a busy station. Early mornings & afternoon rush. The station is connected to the Eaton Centre, the Hudson's Bay & SAKS Fifth Avenue. Close by is the Elgin Theatre & Dundas Square & two stories of Home Sense. A block away is St Michael's Hospital to the East on Queen Street. Several major restaurants in the area To Be Seen In. If you are claustrophobic not a good idea during rush hour in the mornings & after 3pm in the afternoon.
One of the busiest subway station in downtown. First entrance to Hudson's Bay Store and CF EATON CENTRE Shopping Mall. Second entrance to CF Eaton Centre, Toronto Old City Hall, City Hall and Sheridan Hotel. Next Subway Station on Southbound is King and Northbound is Dundas Station. Located at Queen Street and Yonge Street. Beautiful Art Work on Station Wall Display and One of the Clean TTC Subway Station.
The staff member in the booth on Monday (1Aug) evening around 9pm just ignored my polite question about if he knew the location of the washroom. When I asked him a second time, he gave me a stare, a long stare and then aggressively replied.. NO !!! Really!!! Rude and aggressive behavior that was uncalled for.
It is a little complicated at first to get to the northbound platform of the Queen Station on the subway - I recommend checking to the right and left of the ticket booths to find the stairs and passageway from Queen Station to get to the northbound platform. - A Richard Trus review
The good thing about this station is that it connects directly to the Eaton Centre. The bad thing about it is that's the only place it goes to. If you want to go to the street, you have to go through the Eaton Centre. The station isn't very big either, and is often very crowded.
The Queen Underground Station in downtown Toronto needs a revamp. It is well connected to the Hudson's Bay, SAKS Fifth Avenue and the Eaton Centre. No restrooms, so it is a minus. All in all, this station warrants a modernisation drive. Hope it comes about very soon.
Very busy station compare to others , always busy with lot of stuff , people has to be careful with belongings and all . When we come outside we can witness the beautiful church and Toronto sign also very close the church. Hudson Bay very close to station.
Overcast today. Long line up to enter stores. People are out enjoying the weather and Phase 1 reopening of stores and restaurants. People are shopping for summer or before they have another lockdown. Nice day for a drink with friends.
I do not like this station because people are rude . Also a lot of people take there time to get to the Northbound and southbound trains when most people are trying to get to the trains and to get to union on time without any delays
I've liked Queen St West Toronto for decades. There are a lot of various little shops, though it got too glitzy and became predominantly fashion oriented... in later years but little shops are popping up again.
typical metro Subway station with nothing exciting but if you have some time and eyes you can get good photos from the stairway and it's as clean as any other station while handling the peak traffic
Busy Subway station . Many entrances. close to Shopping centre, New and Old City hall. and the financial district. Accessible entrances to subway. .Connects with Queen Streetcar that runs 24 hours.
Very busy station as it is right next to the Eaton Centre. I could not find an exit to the street. I had to go through Hudson Bay, and it also took me a while to find an exit from there.
Great station nice details and space but can get very busy cause it’s right near Easton centre and one block away from city hall just wish it was more compatible
Very convenience located in Toronto downtown area. But it been built since last century so is kind of old n not moderniz but still serving its purpose fine
This busy station is in need of an update but it's so convenient and gives you the option of entering into the Eaton Centre or The Bay, which is great. ☺️
This is a view of Queen St from the bridge that unite The Bay and Eaton Centre FC, a grate place to take pics and see the beauty of this part of the city.
Typical subway station in terms of amenities and cleanliness. No restrooms, so taking away a star. Go to the Eaton Centre mall nearby for restrooms.
This subway is the nastiest and it’s in the heart of downtown ..... always crack head sleeping and they leave their bed there it’s like a jail house
this station is good since it not as busy as dundas plus unlike dundas you dont need to leave the paid fare zobe
I had never been here. I needed to get to Queen Street and ended up in the Eaton Centre. Signage is not great.
Get off at this subway station to visit Old City Hall, New City Hall, the Toronto sign, and the Eaton Centre.
Always a fast moving station and conveniently located close to Dundas station without the big waits or lines
Why can you even rate a train station? Five stars cause you dont fall into a pit when you get off the train.
Always good service and understanding attendants!!! I just wish that the subway ran 24 hrs!!!
It’s ok! Pretty cheap price and you can enter to the biggest mall in the city Eaton mall
Almost died at this station, would NOT recommend unless you're a homeless sympathizer.
theres a entrance to eaton centre at this station and the outside entrance is decent
In the morning the subway is to slow and almost every morning something happened.
Its a subway station...you get off the train and start walking...5 stars!
I love queen street and it as long if shops and restaurants to go.
Nice artwork and it is connected to the Easton Centre mall inside.
Las estaciones son amplias, lindas y lo mejor de todo ACCESIBLES.
Queen station is efficient and orderly. Easy to get to trains.
The path is amazing and the station is well maintained
A very dirty subway station, unsafe at times as well
I'd love to see this station develope longer routs
Удобный сабвей, попадаешь прямо в Итон центр...
Big city, big lights, and grassy park nearby!
Queen's cool and enchanting at the same time
Yonge street - The world’s longest street
Nice place to go to. To grab the train.
Has access to the bay and eaton centre
Clean place and wonderful station
Only 400m from the Dundas subway.
It needs cleaning and maintenance
