The positive points of this place.. 1) The chicken finger things are juicy and have nice batter. Fluffy-crunchy batter. Something like that. The special sauce is nice, too. 2) The price is very reasonable. 4 fingers + 2 toast + fries + drink = same price as a McDonald's quarter pounder. Hard to beat the price. The thing I don't like is the loud music. Why have music so loud? makes it hard for people to have a conversation, which makes people talk loud, which makes the total volume even higher. I never understood why some places do this. So loud it is stressful. Can't imagine the stress levels of the staff around such loud music for hours. ("But maybe they like the music. So it isn't stressful.") Doesn't work that way. Loud sounds cause stress. The human brain doesn't like loud sounds. Being around loud music -- or loud anything -- causes multiple stress markers. Physiological, psychological, emotional. This is well researched and became an important part of industrial psychology some years back. Having quiet environments is important if the goal is to produce good work and have happy employees. It's just weird. Don't need to know psychological research to understand this. Turn the music down. Is it a dance bar or a chicken place? The only thing I can think of is that the corporate policy is to keep music loud to drive people out of the store quickly or to get people to use the drive through. Or maybe to attract people from the hood? I would come back again...but for the music. Not interested in stressing myself with obnoxiously loud music. Nope. It's back to McDonald's for me. They play good music from the 70s and 80s, quietly in the background. That corporate organization isn't going to make the mistake of playing obnoxiously loud music. If you want to eat juicy chicken fingers while feeling like you are actually in a noisy bar, then this will be the ideal place for you.

I have worked in customer service for over 10 years and the level of unprofessionalism I experienced was unlike anything I have ever seen tonight. I ordered 6 chicken fingers with 2 canes sauce thinking it would be cheaper than the Caniac Combo but it ended up being just a dollar cheaper so I asked the kid working the register if I could change it. He told me to hold on and called a manager over, but kept the window open. I heard him say to the manager “ He wants to change something with his order.” and the manager ROLLS HIS EYES at me and goes “ OH MY GOD” and then did something to change the order I guess. I was charged for the Caniac Combo and when I went to the next window the unfriendly girl who handed me my order just said “straws in the bag” and closed the window. I got home (20 miles away) and realized I got no bread, no fries, and no coleslaw even though I was charged for them. I completely understand getting the order wrong because mistakes happen but the level of disrespect I received from a MANAGER over a question (not a demand) is unbelievable. Like I said, I work customer service so I know people are annoying but if you can’t handle that you may need a different job and definitely not be in a position of leadership. I have done a survey one other time for horrible customer service and coincidentally it was this exact location TWO YEARS AGO. I thought I’d give it a try since so much time has passed but apparently nothing has changed.

Walked over to this location on a nice night, just to be met unwelcoming staff letting me know the dinning room is closed due to understaffing. I’m sorry you had a normal amount of staff as I eat here quite regularly. They asked for me to wait outside and I did but wow completely disrespectful attitude from the employees. I find the staff here rude. However they were able to serve the money truck guy inside. Not the spiciest...but most of the flavor is in the sauce. Always juicier than the regular drive-thru options (that are dry, crunchy, and processed). Portions used to be bigger when they first opened but it's all based on weight. The menu is limited, but that keeps it fast and easy without having things sit too long or compromised in process/ingredients. The fries taste real and lightly salted.

I'm just being honest.It wasn't a good experience. First off, there was a long line.Good problem to have. Finally got to the speaker placed my order paid it the first window when I got to the second window this guy handed me two drinks that were full to the brim not a drop of condensation absolutely no ice no carbonation I didn't take a drink of it it looked like coffee but I already paid for it so I figured I'd have to take care of me later. I got home the fries were soggy I only had a mile to drive pops were undrinkable and the chicken was okay wasn't very warm they said that they put lettuce on it I get home and doesn't have anything on it at all so I was not happy! I probably won't go to this one again other than to get my replacement meal,cuz I spent almost $18 bucks for an unsatisfactory meal."update!"The manager took care of me and it was a little better.They had a little ice though.

I just want to say WOW, ive never tried canes before and when I pulled into the drive-thru I thought they would have burgers or other options and not just specifically chicken tenders I wanted to back out and leave but I was blocked in so I figured why the hell not just do it and I was prayingit wouldn't be like churches or KFC but I will say this is far from it!! the chicken is fresh it just melts in your mouth it's not overly greasy and with the sauce it's amazing. The coleslaw could definitely use some more seasoning the fries I could use some more salt, and I don't feel like complete garbage after finishing every single bite. but all in all the chicken sandwich made it all worth it a bit pricey but I have no regrets absolutely must try this place 10 Stars!!

This store is unacceptable for a canes. Does not live up to the legacy at all. Everyone here is insanely unprofessional and my order is never right. The greeting at the drive thru was an impatient “go ahead with your order”, at the window they open the window, grab the card, and hand it back with the least amount of words possible while in the back ground workers are yelling at each other and laughing. The dining room is ALWAYS closed way earlier than 10pm. Tonight it was closed by the time I was there at 8:30pm. I don’t understand how management can allow a business to be run like this, every canes I’ve ever been to has had wonderful service and this one is straight trash. It should be closed or completely restaffed.

I have eaten Raising Cane's for years. It has been my favorite place to go for fried chicken, because the chicken and fries are always fresh and hot. However, each time I have gone to the location in Westport I have gotten the worst experiences with my order. My fries were cold, hard and not fresh, the drink was watered down, the toast was hard and chewy, and the chicken tasted like it had been sitting out for sometime. If anyone chooses this location check your order so you don't feel disappointed.

Tania was terrible. We literally kept saying “Please and Thank you” while Tania said NOTHING. Not one word. Just looked at us like we were stupid. We didnt get the extra sauces that we PAID for or any of our other extras for that matter. My husband didnt even GET any sauce. I've been tonmany Cane's but thr food quality at this location seemed a little off. How do I know? I ordered four finger meal and only *wanted* to eat three. Something was slightly off. The famous Cane's sauce aeemed slightly off, too. There was no atmosphere because, like many fast food restaurants, the lobby was closed. I am sure this is a lingering effect from the Covid pandemic due to employees not showing for work. As we know, this is just not occurring at Cane"s. I eat chicken most nights for dinner, so don't come here often for lunch, but MAN can these guys handle a lunch rush. Everything I stop at lunch it is very busy with long lines inside and drive through, but they go through the lines quick and food comes out fast. Great choice for a fast lunch! I didn’t even know this Raising Caines location existed and it was so close to the heart of the city! They also opened early than other similar places (like firehouse or chipotle). So we decided to drive through. It’s not easy to find a place when we are pulling a trailer since many places are curbside only. This parking lot is plenty big enough to make it though. Quick service, very friendly and food is always so tasty! Keep up the good work!

People make fake reviews about this canes saying so Good five stars but that ain't it that place gheto and service was terrible the employes drop your food on the counter when you wait for your food and many reasons why the service sucks.

This location has the friendliest employees. Christy always has a smile and is very thorough in the ordering process. Someone give her a raise! I love to order half unsweetened iced tea with half lemonade and it's always thirst quenching. Don't pass up the opportunity to try their signature Cane's sauce with the chicken strips. I wish I could afford enough to bathe in it.

Having moved up here from Southern Louisiana, this is one place that I missed. The menu is simple, the tea is delicious, the chicken is fresh, and the sauce is downright addictive! Top all that off with great service, and you've got a reason to drive to westport from anywhere in the city. If you're trying to decide where to eat lunch or dinner, trust me, go here!

I Came in 12/1 around 8:30 and received terrible customer service from a young AA male who works the front counter, wears a face mask and has curly hair covered by a hat. He was very unprofessional when handling my order and I will not be back because Of the treatment . This guy definitely needs a coaching on how to treat customers….

The chicken is always fresh, like burn your mouth fresh. The staff are nice and so helpful. They get the orders out quickly. The manager even came around and checked on every table after we sat down.

Don’t they only have a few things on the menu? How is there a 30 minute wait on a Friday night? I could have gone to a actual sit restaurant and use my money wiser. I’ve learned I won’t be coming back to this Canes I’ve never been to a slow Canes in my life!

If you only do one thing you should do it well! The chicken tenders are indeed delicious. This location is easy to find with plenty of free parking. The staff is helpful and friendly and the dining room is bright and clean. Fast easy and reasonably priced.

Management is horrible. The manager Cat is very messy she tells her workers to be at 7:30 but she doesn't pull up until 8 or 9 while her staff is waiting on her to open the store. All the managers just sit in the office while the workers

Long line, but food was fresh and hot. Wouldn't recommend if you have food allergies though I'm not sure what I reacted too. Overall though good food and semi-intellgent service, probably great if you didn't have 2 orders in a car.

Delicious chicken fingers!! I wish there was one where I live! I like the cane sauce too and the store was clean and nicely decorated.

They only have chicken fingers...but they are amazing. The canes sauce is great as well. Everyone that works there is super friendly.

Fast and friendly service. Food was great too, though the chicken itself was a little plain tasting but still good with the sauce.
