Be prepared for a food coma if you come for brunch! We arrived at 11am, and they were a bit behind seating patrons. We had a reservation for 11 but due to the staff being overwhelmed, we had to do a couple loops through the grocery to kill time before they were ready for us(a bit annoying, but it's a somewhat interesting place). After killing about 10 min, we were finally seated, and from that point on had great, friendly service! I ordered the Biscuit Bomb, and my wife had the Chicken n Waffles. The biscuit bomb might be one of my favorite concepts for a Brunch Biscuit ever. A gargantuan biscuit, covered in gravy, stuffed with spinach, eggs, bacon and tomato, and then covered with a massive slice of cheddar cheese. It's about as heavy a meal as you can find, and was quite tasty, although there was an overpowering rosemary flavor in the gravy which I had to scrape away to really enjoy everything else. The chicken and waffles were also taste bud tantalizing, especially when dabbing a lil syrup. The chicken was juicy, with just the right amount of spiced breading, and the waffles were crisp and airy, without being too bland. All in all a rib sticking solid brunch for a reasonable price. Don't come here of you don't want to go home and nap afterwards

My wife and I visit Reid’s Fine Foods almost daily. The entire team is hard working and very professional. It is sort of like a “Cheers” type specialty grocery store where everyone knows your name! Of course, we know everyone by name and appreciate them so much. Where would Reid’s be without Jorge and Martha in the deli area! Martha always greets us by name with her beautiful smile and Jorge always calls out to us with a big “hello” and another smile. When we are shopping for that special bottle of wine, Leyla is quick to offer her expert advice! She is a ROCK Star! One day I was in and could not find the right heirloom tomato and Harrison went in the back to get more! That is service! Reid’s is so very blessed to have such an incredible team! Even with great products is takes team work and the culture shows! Make sure you stop in if you have not already discovered this neighborhood treasure. Carpe Diem! Matthew Paul Brown

Food was great. Staff and service on the other hand was far from exceptional. Beware: this is not a kid friendly restaurant (if you even classify it as that). I brought my daughter with me and I could tell from the start she was not welcomed. The female employee at the hostess stand gave me a unfriendly attitude when I walked up and asked for a high chair.. come to find out, this was actually one the managers. This should have been my first clue. It was LUNCH TIME for goodness sake. My daughter literally said three words while we were dining. The service was extremely slow and the wait time for our food was ridiculous to be honest. It was not busy at this time. We found ourselves asking each other several times where our waitress was. Overall, it was a really bad experience and I unfortunately will not be back.

After seeing a couple of liberals all upset because Reid's doesn't welcome employees voicing their "first amendment rights"... I had to give this establishment 5 stars and I will DEFINITELY try them out. What these liberals fail to understand (and yes, they are liberals because they claimed as such), is that the first amendment protects you from persecution from the government. However, it does NOT give you the right to say what you want when you want without consequences. If you are at work, you are representing your employer. Even outside of work, to an extent, you are representing your employer. I look forward to this weekend so that I can make the drive to try out this place. I am excited.

Our dining experience at Reid's was so disappointing...tiny menu and everything we tried was too Expensive for the ridiculously small portion sizes served. the lobster mac and cheese and shrimp and grits were horribly salty...beet salad was ridiculously tiny not even an appetizer size and good but nothing to write home about.. My glass of Wine, my husbands beer, our waiter and the other dining/ bar staff were the highlights of our experience, but we sadly won't ever return and we can't recommend it to others. Our bill was over 80 including the tip - way too much to leave hungry and not enjoy the food... we felt sick when we left but not because we were full....

We ordered several items the chocolate Cake was $70 for a whole cake it was terrible. Very dry the icing was way too sweet. We had 7 people try it everyone had one two bites. For the price point extremely disappointing. Never again. Using cheap products. The charcuterie board also very expensive totally disappointed you can get at any grocery store at the third of the price better cheese board. The quality for the price point on these items was not with it at all. Don’t do it…. I recently had dinner and it was excellent however the take out on the cake and charcuterie board at $160.00 and a few other items was beyond disappointment.

I was super nice to the young two kids working the deli. I tipped 10 percent. They messed up my wife's chicken salad sandwich by leaving off the chicken salad lol. No biggie, I ask them politely to just slap some chicken salad on if they don't mind. They look at me dumbfounded, whisper to each other then the young kid in the apron snatches the sandwhich, doesn't reply to me when I say thank you. Comes back, I thank him again and he turns away. I mean I didn't get a single word or smile, nor less a very owed apology. The guy at the bar almost walked into me and didn't say anything. Just all around horrible vibe from these employees.

My husband, Matthew and I actually do not miss a day coming to Reid's Fine Foods! One will always find an inviting atmosphere with a friendly and professional team. We order breakfast or lunch daily and we love Martha and Jorge. We too, are blessed to have incredible Leyla and Morgan in the wine boutique. Of course, I have to mention the genuine care and smile of Harrison as he rings up our daily purchases. Being a business owner of a boutique real estate firm, I understand first hand that your team makes up for a successful venture. May 2023 hold many blessings for the entire team at Reid's Fine Foods!

The store itself is fabulous! The staff is all very accommodating, friendly, and eager to help! I felt like home here. Unfortunately, when I went for an interview, and I spoke with the General Manager, they had alternative priorities alongside asking if I knew how to read due to my disability status , even though my resume stated that I graduated with a History Degree at UNCC. Then , when trying to reach out for an offer via telephone, they would always have an excuse as to why they could not hire anyone at the time.

I had the pleasure of attending a ticketed holiday wine tasting event at the bar. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the tasting came with a made to order Philly cheesesteak. Only down side abt the location is the parking lot is small and can certainly be a challenge depending on the time of day. The bar does do weekly specials like half off wine glasses etc, great place to go and relax after work or on a wkend. Perfect for girls night, date or solo outing.

I worked with Cassie Frye to order catering for a "Life Celebration." Cassie was informative, new her products, and made very helpful recommendations. She arrived exactly as scheduled, set up beautifully displayed food platters, which were very tasty, and was off in a flash. Cassie also responded to every text and email quickly and efficiently. She made a stressful time less stressful. I would definitely recommend Cassie's help when ordering from Reid's Fine Foods.

Nice market for some specialty foods and ingredients. You can find some really cool stuff, especially if you're not looking for anything in particular. The staff is really friendly, you can get sandwiches made to order in the deli, or grab-and-go from the cooler. Nice wine shop, too. They pack a lot in a small space. Watch out for those prices, though. They aren't usually readily displayed, and I've been surprised at the register more than once.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! If I could give them ten stars I would! The staff is wonderful and made the whole experience outstanding. The shopping experience and dining experience were superb. I will be coming back and using Reid's company for many years to come not only for the fact that it was such a wonderful experience but also because they use local produce and products. And using locally is something I can get behind. This company is excellent!

  • Caroline Winchester

The atmosphere of Reid's is awesome! The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. I feel comfortable bringing my clammily here to shop and dine. We recently had a party catered for an end of the summer bash. Everything was EXCELLENT; the food, chef, hospitality, and service were above and beyond. I love how Reid's optimizes local produce and products in their catering and sales floor. We will be coming back for many years to come!

I live in Shelby and truly value a great butcher shop so when I happened upon Reid’s while measuring a job nearby, I called in and ordered 2- 4lb beef tenderloins. The butcher knew exactly what I wanted, even offered to tie them up for me and said he’d have them waiting. I wish I could post a picture on here of how they turned out. I cooked them in our Wolf Steam Oven and they were so good. I’ll be back at Reid’s.

  • Sky Baylock

I paid $17 for a burger meal and had to wait to get my food and drive all the way home and they didn’t give me my sides. My burger didn’t have anything on it either. So I had to come all the way back to the store and whoever was behind the counter just tossed me my side and laughed it off. Wasted my time and now the food I got is definitely cold. Go to the other location if you choose to eat here.

  • Laura Winkler

I really like the store. I love to shop here for unique items or when I need to find a great wine and freshest food for entertaining. They can even cater the event if you need them to. They offer a lot of things you can find at other specialty food store. My friends and I like stopping by for lunch when we are in the neighborhood. Great place, friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable employees.

  • Jessica B

Reid's is great however it is always so hard to maneuver through the store. One employee or manager nearly ran into my stroller. The young woman who works in the wine section is amazing and so is Regina in cold cuts. Regina helped me compile a lovely and delicious charcuterie and spent about 15 min or more doing so. I'll be back to see Regina and the woman in wine again.

  • Angela Mitchell

This is the best sirloin burger in Charlotte. They will cook it as you order and are not afraid of “rare.” This burger does not need sauce to make it better. So juicy your bun falls apart on the bite, but it’s worth it! Since I always review fries with the burger, the string fries are cooked perfectly – but sometimes they sprinkle on too much Parmesan.

  • Harry Moncelle

I will not purchase anything from an establishment that dictates to its employees how to think and what to say! Shame on you folks, you gain much from the freedoms we have in this nation but obviously, you don't extend these freedoms to others. A person should not be terminated for simply sharring a thought or an opinion!

Just wanted to give a big shout-out to Page in Gift Baskets for the great service I experienced today. I was calling from out of town for a gift basket and she not only helped me select one, but personally delivered it this afternoon! Could not ask for better service and my daughter loved the basket!!! Merry Christmas!

  • Sandra Mayer

The desserts by Malely are the best I have ever experienced!! The cheesecakes, brownies, etc., have just the right touch of everthing!! I would love to see a Reid's Fine Foods come to Cornelius/ Lake Norman area. Certainly it would do well amongst the "specialty shop" theme that folks in the area love to frequent!!

  • Becky Meleney

I love to go to Reid's! The meat department is incredible due to Bucky! He is always smiling and is ready to help you with your order. It's great to go in to any store and find people happy to see you. I have never eaten anything that wasn't EXCELLENT! Kudos to Bucky. (Happy Birthday today.) Have a great day!

  • Lauren S

I visited Reid's for lunch recently...the Salmon BLT was fantastic! I've been back with my girlfriends for a wine dinner, again wonderful. Their great atmosphere and service along with the extensive food and wine selection makes this a foodies dream! Oh, I can't forget the great butcher shop... it has it all!

  • Anthony Gonzalez

Been going here for years now. Work next door at sherwin williams so I’ve tried all their sandwiches, wraps, and burgers. They are all great! Jose is a great manager and super friendly. Love the staff, Marta is a super kind and friendly as well. I will continue going and totally worth the price.

  • David A Ruch

Just left Reid’s. Great service from Stephen. Cheese board was great. Nice variety. Calamari great. Very nice wines. We got there at 3:45 they opened at 4:00 so curious if they might have prepared the space better. Table we wanted to sit at was messy and major crumbs Under corner booth.

  • Maria Moraru

Almost every time I go into either of the Reid’s locations I either accidentally buy or make it to the counter and then have to turn around with an expired product. The place is way too overpriced and the food is bland. The check-out staff is sometimes aloof or rude. Not worth the trip.

  • Moose Kick

I'd give this place 6 stars if I could. I just went into the Southpark Reids Fine Foods and ate dinner. Little did I know was Wednesday was half priced wine - awesome. The meal and service were outstanding. I was also blown away with the meat and wine selection. I think I am moving in!!

  • J Y

Great burger, they ground up steaks for this burger, and it's almost half off on Tuesdays. At lunch it comes in a box, at dinner you get table service. It's an upscale grocery store and offers tailor made sandwiches, salads at lunch. Several locations to choose from. Can be pricey.

  • Holly Ball

Warning! if ordering Xmas or holiday catering items be prepared. Just picked up my Thanksgiving items. Portion description says it supposed to “feed 4-6 people”…this would MAYBE feed 4 if everyone took 1 scoop. Just take what they say in description and cut it in half. :(

  • David Snyder

New to the area, looking for top notch meat and fish sources. We came to Reids, as one obvious one to try. To be honest, the service was mediocre, and the meat has okay. I guess we will keep looking, hoping there are some excellent sources of meat for home barbecue.

  • Amelia Matta

I recently went to Reid’s Fine Food and all the food looked so good! I ended up talking to a very kind manager named Harrison who made me a sandwich and suggested certain options after telling him my preferences. I am now a regular customer and go there weekly.

  • Elissa Bolling

My friend and I come here every Wednesday and it is one of our favorite places. The service is always wonderful. Melina and Gray have always gone out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience. This place lives up to all expectations and more.

  • Gemstone Vibes

After having a HORRIBLE experience with the Day time manager at “The Jimmy” next store I came to this beautiful establishment!! The amazing and wonderful STACiA made me a delicious Berry Salad! Thank you so much Stacia for making my day better!!! ❤️-Morgan

  • Michael Keim

They say fine foods in their title and by George they are right! From the killer wraps to the craft beer selection you won't be disappointed walking in their doors. Can't wait to try all their prepared foods, they all look so delicious.

  • Christopher M

The food is soo good - but I've yet to get an order that is totally correct... They forget one or two things or add one or two things unexpectedly to a sandwich.. I usually just take what I'm given and enjoy it all the same.

  • Chris Hitch

Always love visiting Tommy, Spence and Ryan to select the best cuts of beef. If you catch it right their bread is sold hot!! Great for salads and deli sides. Great sweet and unsweetened tea with the good crushed ice.

  • Zachary Harner

They might get your sandwich order right 10% of the time. Always missing something, hot when you ask for cold, etc. Poorly run business, but I’m sure they’re printing money at this location so I doubt they care

  • Andy Korczynski

If you want a quick bite and some wine the food is always good, sometime the service is a little slow. Sometimes, the deli meat isn't 100% great, but for the most part this place is solid.

  • Chris Ratchford

I shop here more than I do at Teeter. The staff seems genuinely interested in their customers. They know me by name and are welcoming. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

  • Melissa Patel

Staff behind the register is consistently unhelpful. I have asked simple questions about products and they have no idea. They are always on their phones. Highly unprofessional.

  • Paul Mancini

I will not patronize any establishment where employees are fires for exerting their 1st amendment rights. Please stay away from this store and find somewhere else to shop.

  • Keith Warner

Reid's has so many things going for it. A tradition that has withstood time, a delectable deli, great coffee, wines, top quality meats, specialty goods and super service!

  • Gracie R

These people are judge-mental and not kind that's all I gotta say. ALSO they mischarged my friend 53 dollars instead of 29 because they didn't ring up her food correctly

  • David Day

Had a great dinner experience with my wife and friends last Saturday. Joe does a great job on the grill and the wait staff has always been top notch. Will be back soon!

  • Abi Angel

They were wonderful to work with, the food was great and they took extra care to make sure our order was perfect. We really appreciate it and will be back again!
