"Absolutely adore this place"
"Whenever I’m visiting another city I try and find all of the little bookstores I can, and this one did not disappoint! The whole store is cozy right down to the sweet little cat by the window! They have a great selection of books and other fun little things too! I can’t wait to come back!"
"It is a compact bookstore right between Austin Java and Quack's Bakery (great places to take your new read[s])"
"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this community treasure"
"Found this bookstore in our neighborhood the other day"
Absolutely adore this place. I’ve lived in Austin my whole life and just recently discovered Reverie Books. Great location in South Austin, great selection and very friendly staff. It is a small book shop so wouldn’t recommend if you’re sensitive to small spaces! This has definitely become a new favorite spot of mine.

It is a compact bookstore right between Austin Java and Quack's Bakery (great places to take your new read[s]). The limited selection might mean quality of choice. They proudly display 'banned' and LGBT+ books too. Go check them out and support a local bookstore!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this community treasure. They have all the best selections of contemporary and relevant books on all issues under the Pride family umbrella. It’s such a charming place, I had a hard time leaving. I highly recommend visiting.
Found this bookstore in our neighborhood the other day. They have an amazing curated selection of books across genres with a focus on social justice, and underrepresented voices. They also have lots of books in other genres as well. I had
Reverie Books has claimed the title of my favorite bookstore in town. It has the perfect low-key neighborhood feel, and it’s in a shopping center that maintains an “old Austin” feel for me despite its profusion of newer businesses. It’s
Reverie Books is a gem and has made it on my gratitude list this morning. You will feel seen, supported, and valued being a customer here! I have to practice self-control by forcing myself to finish the book I'm currently reading before
I always check out this bookstore when I have free time! They offer a variety of different genres, gifts, art supplies, plants, and more!! The books are fairly priced and they have so many fun book bundles to look at. The atmosphere is
Great little locally owned bookstore! Very diverse collection of books and other thoughtful gifts. The owners are also very supportive of the local community and youth. They have a kids' "wish-list donation" program as well a teen run
This bookshop is adorable and a great local spot! The owners/staff were super friendly and knowledgeable— we may have had an impromptu book club meeting with the discussion of mutually favored books, and our group left with some great
Over the weekend I was thrilled to discover a new-old bookstore! The magical little bookshop I gushed about not too long ago (Good Buy Books) ended their story this summer... but a new tale will now be told by Reverie Books!
One of Austin's best little book shops. Impossible to not find something appealing. I've bought both art and books there. A fun trip to combine with the adjacent bakery, goth shop, and coffee diner.
A lovely cozy shop tucked away from the outside. I was amazed at how quiet it was in here while so close to the road. I got to peruse a large selection of books, including a good amount of queer
Stumbled upon this little bookshop today and was immediately enamored. Diverse & inclusive selection, cozy feel, queer-friendly. MaryAnn was helpful and friendly, I will definitely be back!
I feel seen, y’all! Once a year I indulge with a lesbian holiday romance novel. It’s like Reverie Books knew I was coming in today. Thanks for always having something wonderful in stock.
Visited here this week and loved it! Great mix of new/used books and fun merch. Felt personal and curated- very friendly and free spirited but still
Such a cute place, with a very friendly owner! I love finding local indie bookstores, and this one is a favorite of mine. I'll definitely be back!
We went in randomly today I found a great book as soon as I walked in & had a great laugh with the cashier at the front!
Great little bookstore with super friendly staff and a very diverse selection of books. Will definitely come back.
