To start, It’s Friday evening, most places are closed and I showed up to Rite Aid to purchase a Nebulizer for my 14 month old as his broke. I needed to get my hands on one as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Rite Aid didn’t have any in stock. But guess what! The pharmacist named Steve went out of his way to call an old colleague of his that has a Pharmacy in Bath Beach (Dolinsky Pharmacy) and asked if he had any in stock. He readily had one at the counter for me and was willing to stay open even later for me as the location was technically closed by the time I got there. In summation, I know many big chain pharmacies get a bad rap for being commercial. But what this Rite Aid and Steve did for me was purely out of the mom n pop shop handbook. And a special thank you to Bob at Dolinsky Pharmacy for keeping the doors open for me. Fifty Stars for Steve/Rite Aid and Bob!

One pleasant associate helped me out with finding feminine products for my wife. She said they were also on sale, when I got to the counter I was told they were not on sale. I asked the cashier James to check the aisle. After 15 minutes of God knows what he was doing he called the manager Greg. The manager went to the aisle and came back with the cheapest product saying this is the one for the price I quoted. I went back to the aisle myself and found that my first choice was in fact the item on sale. Needless to say the manager told me it was a mistake and that the product I chose was incorrectly marked for sale. The whole process took about 30 minutes and after the cashier James decided to ring me up much slower then everyone else. There are Rite Aides down about half a mile either way, be sure to go to those and stay clear of this one.

I'm Rite Aid ''3823 Nostrand Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11235 ''customer more than 8 years. Always checking coupon policy before any big shopping. That's why most of the time didn't had any problem with coupons . But i came at November 24 in the store, and try to do my basic shopping. The girl, who works there at that time, her name Islam, refused accept my printable coupons ( which was accepted a few days before ). ??? She said her manager said NO for printable coupons almost 3 weeks ago. I came in different location on Ave Z and Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11235,made my shopping and didn't had ANY problems or questions or comments. Everything goes thru. Why it's such a big difference of customer service in the same corporation ? Feel's very unfair!!!

I was racially profiled in this store by a Cashier. They asked what was in my sweater (it was my pouch) and when I asked why they would asked me that and if he was implying theft when they said they ”needed to make sure”. They then defended his actions by saying I looked like the theif from earlier. It was thanksgiving day and I wore a long skirt jacket and hat. I was at their checkout when this happened and was purchasing 50$ worth for products It is not his job to do this and he cannot ask about anything on my own person. When I returned the items because I felt disrespected he sighed and looked at me as if I was the disturbance, after he racially profiled me.

I posted a post last night about about the manager of the store I wish outright I was bugging out the way this guy spoke to me I don't believe he should be in that store but I wake up this morning I closed the store and the guy Adam who's an awesome manager jah should be the manager 24 hours in that store and get rid of the other one he handled me and spoke to me hes gonna escalate the situation I had last night to hide levels but hes a perfect gentleman everybody in that story Is it very helpful very Polite and I enjoy going there but they have to get rid of the manager that I spoke to last night it's a must he should not be in that store But thank you Adam

A decently stocked and organized Rite Aid, with the "daily essentials" and lots of health & beauty products. There is almost always a wait at the pharmacy, and depending on who is there and what mood they are in you will get a range of service, from neighborly and personal, to dismissive and abrupt. ‍♀️ I would also like to comment that the pharmacy waiting area is really really in need of a cleaning and an update. It's sketchy to sit a wait. And the area/room where they see you for immunizations, consultations is also unkempt. This could be a great neighborhood pharmacy, but it needs a bit of TLC.

I won’t advise to come to this pharmacy. First of all stuff is rude, I went there to pick up medications and they never advise to get a coupon or give a cheaper price for prescribed medications; I don’t have insurance and they always try to charge me a huge amount of money. Stuff is unprofessional. I found a better pharmacy, everything is more cheaper then in this and stuff is always ready to help you. Save your money, go any other pharmacy!

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy since I was a little kid along with my family. Steve has always treated us with respect and a smile and as busy as it gets, and it gets very busy there, he has a way of making everyone feel welcomed. He is always so kind to my parents and now my husband and son! Steve your compassion and kindness for the patients that walk in to that pharmacy never go unnoticed! Thank you!!!! YOU’RE A REAL LIFE SUPER HERO!

There was only 1 lady at register and i ask her to open the lock she call over customer need assistance after waiting 10 minutes I didn’t see anybody when i ask her is there even a second person in the store she said yeah there is 1 guy he is in the office after waiting another 10 minutes he didn’t show up rite aid need to hire more people in the store

3 self-check out stations, and only 1 working...3 or 4 cashier spots, and only one person on duty. When asked about non-working stations, the associate laughes becomes he chooses to and not fixing because he does not feel like. Sad that rite aid's are closing down, curious of poor customer service pushes clients (and sales) a2ay

Very nice Rite Aid best prices on things like toilet paper and paper towels, and its 24h 7 days a week except for the pharmacy section. Also has a cool machine by the pharmacy in the back it's free and can measure you're heart rate and weight. I like coming here after the blink fitness gym on the same plaza.

One star is too mach for this particular store location. Stuff is neither professional nor helpful, instead of offering solutions creating problems in a forms of store policies. Over the counter meds double priced compared to competitors on the same or next block. Will never go back or suggest to anyone.

She told me they have to call the doctor to change the madicen they will call him tomorrow when I came the next day they said they call home the next day after two day they told me he did not answer I call the doctor he answered he said that he send new and it i their system they look and said oh it her

The store is fine. They need more shopping carts though. I can't tell you how many times I was unable to purchase a case of water simply because I can't carry it. Again today the 21st of June was another one. 2 cases $5.00 great deal no wagons to carry it in. Time to spend the money rite aid.

store was clean , nice .. Prices very high in general as all rite Aid location even with Buy one get one for 50%off Or buy one get one free ...they already fixed the prices to be the same ..But they want u only feel better cause u got a deal!!

For a chain store the staff here are very helpful and personable. They greet regulars by name. The pharmacy staff are very helpful and committed to ensuring that elderly customers prescriptions are filled and they receive their refills.

The store is well lit and clean the atmosphere is friendly. The isles are wide enough for a wheelchair. The store provides a variety of services. The pharmacy staff is equipped with a variety of medications to cure all your ailments.

Rite aid on ocean and z closed, was told prescriptions would be moved to this location. Have been trying to reach ANYONE for over an hour but the phone continues to ring. How do you get through to this location and their pharmacy???

Never again will I come back to this Rite Aid to receive money from Western Union. I was given a counter feit $100 and they refused to change it for me after I told them about it. Be aware of the bills you get back from them.

Store is nice and stuff is friendly but why u guys have old bread all the time??? I buy all the stuff there except bread cos I bought it maybe 6 7 times and it was really old.thats annoying u guys gotta do something about it

They have sign closed for lunch 1.30-2.00. I came 1.10 and see they are closing rolling shutters when I ask two times if they closed I was being just ignored. Amazing

The staff is great except for the male pharmacist or technician he is always rude and obnoxious. He looks like some vagrant, not presentable.
