I come to this Rite Aid everyday because I live right down the block and what I experience coming here is that there's a all black staff and because they're they are all black I experience a lot of customers being very rude to the staff here the staff do everything they can to be professional. And it seems like the more professional the staff are to the customers the the more the customers become extremely rude and irate. The customers come to the store to rob the store everyday. If there's not a robbery going on there's people being extremely rude to the staff. customers being very rude for no apparent reason. and in my mind when I see that the staff of Rite Aid have to go through this I feel very bad for the staff. I see the employees doing the best they can to hold the Rite Aid brand and they're trying the best to keep rite aid open.I hear a lot of rude customers say to the Rite Aid staff that Rite Aid is going to close down and they're going to lose their job. I feel very sad for the staff because I guess it's the area and the area is urban so people think hey let me go to Rite Aid and try to attack the staff. I was i getting my medication and one of the pharmacy techs was doing the best that they can to assist one of the customers and out of nowhere to customer just got irate with the pharmacy technician and started to threaten them. I hope Rite Aid do something to protect the staff and their store because, this area it is very ghetto. area. What what is worse is that I hear a lot of people complain but when they come to Rite Aid they come with whatever problems they have in in their lives and expect the staff to solve all their problems is very very embarrassing and humiliating for the staff of Rite Aid.
I went into this location on Tuesday around 3:30-4:00pm to get my passport photo taken. My mother had visited the store 10 mins prior and asked a female employee if they do passport photos (at that time the employee was taking a photo of a young girl). So when I arrived we went to the passport photo area and waited for someone to ask if we needed help. Approximately 5 mintues went by without anyone asking us. Finally a female employee passed by and i was able to ask her for what we needed. That employee tells a female employee behind the register (the same woman who was taking the passport photos earlier) that we wanted to take our pictures. The girl pauses for a moment (as if she thinking, maybe she didnt want to leave the register because she had a long line) and says "The camera died". I than said "My mother came in here 10 mins ago and it was working. All of a sudden it died? This is ridiculous." Now i expect a camera to die but to give good customer service a good response would have been, the camera is dead right now but if you can wait 10-15 mintues, I'd be glad to help you. Instead as me and my mother were walking out, the employee that I originally asked for help felt the need to say " What u dont expect the camera to die?" In a rude and nasty tone. I than responded " No, what I expect is for you to charge it, if that's a service that you offer". This is not the first time that I've went into this store and had to wait on a long line or for someone to help me. This was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I will never visit this location again until they get employees with good customer service and more employees to work the register.
I would love to leave a 2.5 rating. My 1st experience with Rite Aid was when I went in to tell them I wanted to transfer my prescriptions to them. The woman behind the desk was unprofessional and a little rude. I had to call 7 times about filling my prescription before someone answered the phone. When someone did answer I remarked that I had to call 7 times they told me to hold on and never came back. When I went into the store to pick up the prescription the gentleman behind the count was very professional and courteous. When I went in again I got the same gentleman and he was professional and courteous and another woman offered to help me with another issue. I was very surprised by that. It is very unprofessional not to answer the telephone. Perhaps a dedicated person to answer the phone for the pharmacy. Do not waste your time replying to this review with your canned response about calling customer care. People do have options but not so many in this neighborhood. I doubt if the customer service would be as poor as it is if it wasn't in a black and brown neighborhood. UPDATE: Here again pharmacy supposed to to reopen at 2 pm. It's 2:09 and all wdiws are shuttered. Lowering my rating to a 2.
Went in to purchase a few over the counter medicine products. The line for the registers was long so I opted to use the self-checkout register. As soon I started to scan my items, the register says "Please Wait For Customer Assistance" An employee was collecting items from behind the counter and I asked her if she could assist me. Her response, "I'm off the clock and not authorized to do that" Yet, she continues to do whatever it is she was doing behind the counter. The register repeats, "Please Wait For Customer Assistance" Out of 3 workers standing in front of the other registers, only 2 were actually assisting the customers on line. The third person was shuffling through items behind the counter. As I looked her way and attempted to get her assistance, she walks away as the register once again repeats, "Please Wait For Customer Assistance" After waiting for almost 10 minutes, I ended up going on the long line I was trying to avoid to begin with. While on line, not one other person bothered to even use the self-checkout registers. Why would they? Once they come across an issue, the staff goes into "Out of State, Out of Mind" mode. You have been warned.
I went to this pharmacy to pick up my meds after my tooth extraction first the cashier could not find my prescription and I had to call my dentist office back another associate came and had to help him find it then she tells me that's it's going to be less then 15 mins to have my prescription filled so I'm like ok cool. I was in so much pain because I literally just left the dentist and went straight there, so after 20 mins I asked the first cashier what was taking so long? He wasn't sure but the pharmacist shouted over him that it's gonna take time that's understandable but when u tell a customer less then 15 mins especially when they are in pain it's very misleading I could of went home and rested and have someone pick it up for me but ok so after waiting 45 mins , another cashier rings up the prescripton and forget to put one of my meds I the bag luckily I checked then I had to go back on line to wait again for them to fix it!!! The customer service in the Rite Aide is horrible! I will not be coming here again! I had oral surgery and they did not seem to care that I was in pain
I have been struggling with this pharmacy since I moved to NYC. The pharmacy staff is very rude and constantly out of my ADHD medication that I need for law school. I now am entirely out of medication and it is right before exams. Sometimes, it takes them 3 weeks to fill a 30 day supply. When I try to ask if they know when it will be shipped by the manufacturer or if another pharmacy has it. They just tell me to call around and dismiss me. I once asked if they could let me know what ADHD medications they had in stock so I could tell my doctor to temporarily switch me. The pharmacy staff refused to speak with me and said they can only talk to my doctor. However, my doctor called all day and they do not answer their phone. I have lived in other areas and have been to Rite Aids all over the state, I have never encountered such a rude experience, and now it might affect my exam grades. I have been a Rite Aid customer for over 20 years, and think this will be the last Rite Aid I deal with.
Frantz is very rude and should not be interacting with customers. He does not listen well, interrupts customers, and ignores questions. He even ignores simple polite greetings. Every time I come to this Rite Aid location, I always have a very slow, unpleasant interaction with this employee in particular. He had me waiting for a good 20 minutes because he didn’t know how to do the sign up for a rewards card. He kept trying to do it and telling me, “Hold on. Almost finished.” A coworker tried to hurry him along and he started complaining about not being able to see (I think? He mumbles, so I didn’t catch everything.), but it’s known that he requires glasses and doesn’t wear them. After wasting all this time he STILL didn’t sign me up. The coworker signed me up in about 2 minutes. He also speaks under his breath like a child. It’s infuriating! He should be fired. He’s horrible at the job, and he’s been here over a year.
I came to ny for a emergency and left 2 creams that I needed for pain so I called my doctor in PA and they sent the pharmacy the medicine for me to pick up. I spoken to the pharmacist and she told me they only have one of the creams and not both. So I told her ok I would be there in 45 min to pick it up. Well 2 hours later I come to pickup the cream and they have no clues to who or what creams im asking about if I could give them negative stars I would. The amount of pain I am in is unbelievable and I shouldn't have to go thur this when I was told it will be ready and waiting for me. To still pay full price for medication that's covered by my insurance. Never again, and to say anything else the person who answered the phone was cursing like she was on the road. This place needs a new staff asap. Only if they knew who they just served.........
Some of the staff are rude and unprofessional. One cashier yelled at a senior citizen for going to the wrong register. Then they refuse to touch the bags that a customer brings in but they don't mind taking the money. So you're forced to pack your own bags which holds up the line that is already from the entrance to the back of the store. Then they only have the small bags with no handle so you're forced to buy bags that rip in the rain. Because they only have the little bags you need several or leave items behind that you can't carry. A undercover boss should go there to see how unprofessional the store is run. If they seen for themselves how it is run , they would understand why the rating is so low. Improvements really need to be made
Pharmacy is not great. Multiple times I've had issues with their pharmacy. Today, I went to refill a prescription. The woman told me she would refill it but the wait would be long so I said I'd come back in an hour. Before leaving, I held up the box of my prescription and double checked they were refilling the right one. Yes- she said she got it. After an hour, I come back and they refilled the wrong prescription. Didn't offer to call my doctor for the refill as other pharmacies do. For three other prescriptions-fairly normal medications- they did not carry the medication and I had to wait. There was also a huge cockroach near the chairs where you wait for prescriptions
Main Pharmacy Tip: IF YOU CAN GENERALLY AFFORD REFILLS: ASK FOR REFILL ALERTS, and TELL PHARMACY STAFF TO REFILL YOUR MEDICATIONS IMMEDIATELY. I like this pharmacy. I also understand that not everyone can afford the cost of prescriptions. **The slight wait (which you will find in any pharmacy) is often due to other people are calling their doctors, making decisions about whether to purchase a prescription, etc.** The general stock of this Rite Aid location is usually great (and as advertised)!! The pharmacy staff is very patient and pleasant (remember at this location, other people are sometimes making difficult decisions about buying prescribed medications).
This place has to have given me one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. First, the women who were working assured me they gave cash back for Apple Pay. However, after trying the same register three times with two different women it didn’t work. After, showing the women I had more than enough money on my Apple Pay they both proceeded to laugh and give attitude. I still kept a positive attitude with both women even though they didn’t treat me with the same respect I’d given them. I would like if the stores cash registers were checked out. As well as the people they’ve employed. They need to take extra precautions when hiring people.
Upon entering the store, I noticed the gates for the pharmacy were down, I asked one of rite aid workers what time they open because it was already 8am, she said in approximately 5 mins.Waited until 8:12am and still no pharmacist. My frustration is this is a pharmacy where patrons come to pick up their medications!!!!! Things happen, but someone could’ve communicated to the 3 people (one elderly) customers that the hours of operation changed or there was a delay of sort! I had to leave go to treatment, then work. So I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get my pills, that’s of they open on time, smh! This isn’t acceptable.
Terrible terrible TERRIBLE, I wish Google had a no stars option. Was on hold with this stupid pharmacy/store whatever this place even is for over an hour trying to correct a prescription I had sent in for a client. No answer forever and kept calling back from various phones, but just kept playing the hold music and auto message over and over again. I even contacted the Rite Aid 800 number to complain and they claimed that someone would reach out to me “right away” which obviously never happened. SO ANNOYED AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW ANYONE GETS OR SENDS PRESCRIPTIONS TO A PLACE THAT REFUSES TO ANSWER THEIR PHONE.
Horrible customer service. There are two super mice younger people, a guy and a pregnant woman, who are extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone else unbelievably rude. And this pharmacy is constantly out of stock, especially for a fairly common monthly medicine I rely on to prevent seizures. I’ve actually had partial ones because of their chronic being out of stock. And long lines very often, and they will call some “regulars” and others to cut the line alllll the time. Searching for better options. I’ve never called on stores or restaurants but I’ve called to complain on this pharmacy twice.
they never ever pick up the phone I have called the pharmacy for a week from Monday 10/31/22 till today 11/4/22 and i called from several different phone numbers and still have not had anyone pick up the phone all I want to know is if my medication is ready for pick up... This happened last month Same issue and when i go to the pharmacy they told me it wasn't ready... Smfh if someone would pick up the phone than maybe I wouldn't have wasted my time coming here and i don't reside in the area... Do better Get someone to answer the phone
Worst customer service. I wish there was a CVS in the area. I've made vaccine appointments, filled out forms, only to arrive and the vaccine isn't available. They then say they will call you when it's available but they do not. Trying to call them is a complete waste of time. The phone system does not work and voicemails aren't returned. I know that this is not the type of service they offer in more affluent neighborhoods
This people are not nice people, just hood energy. Nobody even said hello, the heavy set lady with the braids I asked for help and she looked at me like I was from out of space to ask for help. And they wonder why the store sales are low, Oct 27. 10:40pm today smh and this was the face of the store...... now if I was white with a puppy maybe the 3 people working there could find a little kindness
This Rite Aid is open 24 hours, making it one of the only shops within this area the place to go to get something quick to eat. A full-fledge grocery store, this isn't, so the selection should only be considered if you have the munchies. Other than that, I usually go here after hours, not during the day, where it gets busy and there's never seem to be enough people to man the registers.
Everything is priced wrong and when you tell this to the cashiers they have give you unnecessary attitude. I had to wait more than twenty minutes for the manger to come and fix the pricing. The manager was very distasteful and made it seem like I was bothering her. I would not recommend buying anything from this store ever, unless you want horrible customer service.
The pharmacy staff is truly something else; they don’t pick up their phone when you call, they’re rude/disinterested when you speak to them in person, AND they’re all actively sick with NO masks in sight. They’re back behind the counter coughing and touching their faces, then expect customers to use their pens and such.
I've gone in a few times and the lines were way too long so I left. Way too many people inside during a pandemic. That said, I always find the store clean, the associates helpful and the self serve machines are always open. Also, if you ever need anything ask for Stephanie the manager. She is super!!!!!
A consistently frustrating experience. The pharmacy is unreachable, unresponsive, and unorganized. Prescriptions are never ready, even if their automated system suggests they are. Have never once had a phone call answered. Forced to switch pharmacies after going nearly a week without medication.
Can never seem to get anyone on the phone when you need help and when you go in person there is always a long line and 1 person tending to customers even when the line is all the way to the door wait time for me is alway 45 mins or more to pick up my med bad service altogether
My prescription was out in overnight. When I came in the next morning I was told to come back in an hr. The pharmacist is unprofessional and doesn’t have any customer service. Pharmacist name is Linda. Do not come here for anything. Poor store poor service. Poor staff!
Rude staff, long waits, even middle of the day. Something in their system is always broken. Don’t expect them to call you if there’s an issue with insurance or drug availability. Half the store is now under lock and key (good luck getting anyone to unlock it).
They have a lot of staff and police right outside the door and still some guy managed to walk into the vitamin aisle, drop a bunch of bottles in his bag and just walk out. Is this the norm there? Large store, appeared well stock and was able to receive help.
Bad experience with the pharmacy! It was crowded and the associates seemed clueless as to what they were doing. It was like they were high. The manager or actual pharmacists needed to return and get things back up and running. It's like they
I just moved to Brooklyn and was really happy because I had found a Rite Aid close to my apartment where can buy my GNC products. I am paying $15 per year to membership to can apply to savings, but to my surprise, two rudest cashiers told
know the area since 2011,past by store way many times, didn't care for it!needed an eye medication on 1/6/21,had no choice!couldn't find it anywhere;had this feeling I would find it there!walked in,bad impression, didn't want to ask, then I
Never answers their phones, which makes it a huge inconvenience to customers who need to ask questions about their prescription(s). Then you go in person & find that they aren’t even busy, just lazy and don’t want to work on their shifts.
Hardly has any vitamins, body scrubs, face cream etc ever stocked. Went for cat litter today and there was none. Only good for certain items (feminine products, lotions, soap...) the rest save time go elsewhere. Shelves always half empty.
Just attempted to buy beer here and the cashier just flat out refused to ring me up for it. I'm 25 with a valid state ID, but she refused because she didn't have access to do that until 8am since it was "late night". I've purchased beer
On numerous occasions, when you try to reach the PHARMACIST, you press 3 for the pharmacy there is a ringing then the call goes back to the MAIN. You're not able to speak to anyone. This just occurred AGAIN. SWITCHING TO WALGREENS.
They might as well cancel their phone service because they refuse to answer their phones!!!!!!! I spent over 2 hours trying to contact this store and not a single soul answered the phone. What kind of establishment is this?
The lines at the registers upfront are always ridiculously long. I end up cashing out at the pharmacy every time. However, that might just be all Rite Aid's in general, it's happened to me at a different location as well.
Custemer service women are rude . She does not let me use my Rate Aid account she said it is too later . Without even saying sorry or anytime she looked mad at me . I was in Hurry i could not complain to her Boss.
They need to hire a person just for phones. No one ever picks up. I paid for my prescription then they didn't give it to me cause it was too long. I cant get in touch with anyone yet again so it can be extended.
Pharmacists here are very unprofessional and don’t care about getting the help you need. A pharmacist hung up on me after trying to figure out why they were not fulfilling my prescription
The employees do their best in a filthy and badly managed Rite aide. The computers always have issues and things are out of stock or locked up and nobody finds the key. It's bad.
Too many crazy customers they need security or police presents like in Wallgreens Pharmacies , real police officers, not sleepy security guards. So that they can clear them out.
This location never has cash back. Cashiers are exceptionally rude! Especially the woman with short red hair. She was very disrespectful and allowed people to cut the line.
Hostile pharmacy staff made me feel as if I was disturbing them when picking up my prescription. Would not trust them with my family's health in a million years.
By far the worst rite aide I ever been to you call no one picked up called today for 2 hrs had to walk up there and call corporate on them crazy 0 stars
Staff was friendly and helpful I just think counter staff should be sure to explain if something is not covered by certain forms of paymets
Despite being steps to the post office, this location does not offer passport photo services. Additionally, you can not print photos here.
Everything you need to buy is in here household supplies etc you can come in anytime and check your pressure as well. Great employees
Useless staff, useless managers, useless pharmacists. This location is a disgrace to the Rite Aid brand. Changing pharmacies today.
It’s 7:02 am and they’re still not open. …
