Our little pup Taro wasn’t feeling well over the past few days and we weren’t able to go into Rockdale Vets on a sunday so had to visit another clinic. Never owned a pet before so didn’t really think it’d be too different, but Taro didn’t have a good experience - this other clinic didn’t really try to make her feel comfortable while examining her and she was horrified; genuinely thought that would’ve ruined the good experience she’s had with vets to date. She was still unwell after 2 days but we luckily were able to visit Dr Rob that day and Taro was so much happier during this visit. Dr Rob is amazing - really spends time getting her comfortable before doing anything else, is extremely thorough in telling you all symptoms and running through what to expect when you get home. Even as we were leaving, Taro wanted to say bye and Dr Rob came out to give her some final pets before going back in. Highly recommend Rockdale Vets to everyone!!!

The team were amazing when we discovered on Monday that our cat had a blocked bladder. We called, they got him in right away for treatment. We got updates everyday and were encouraged to visit him. When I visited, they had calming music for all the animals, they worked with Alydon to make his stay as calm as possible. Alydon was due to come home on the Thursday but he developed an issue that required him an extra night. The vets explained everything calmly and we discussed the best options for the best recovery. He came home on Friday and he is happy to be home - a different response from a previous vet stay at another place which he struggled with. Thank you team for helping him and giving him the best vet experience! P.S we love the bravery award!

Took my husky Lola to Rockdale Veterinary Hospital for her second luxating patella surgery, her first surgery was done at a very well known Hospital in the shire. Rob from day one was very informative about surgery and the procedure he and the team made us feel very comfortable with him doing the surgery. After surgery was done and my pup was back at home Rob and the team would call and ask how my pup was going, weekly visits arranged for check ups to make sure she was doing well. Surgery a great success and I highly recommend Rockdale Veterinary Hospital they are very confident, everything is explained in detail and mostly they look after your pets as it's their own.

Gary is unlike anyone i have ever met, on a human level and of course as a vet. When i met gary i instantly felt a connection, comfortable to talk to and my little dog was relaxed with him also. Gary is honest and is well and truly educated, very professional and also genuinely cares about animals and his clients. After doing my rounds with various vets in sydney over the years i feel that gary is a God sent to me and my little Tibby!!!! He takes his time examining and genuinely cares about pets and their owners. Always explains things thoroughly and gives his best advice and knowledge. I couldn’t recommend Gary enough!

The team at Rockdale Vet Hospital have given the best care to my 14yr old cat Meow. Dr Elaine and Dr Rob are very thorough, investigating all diagnosis and treatment options and taking time to explain everything, providing a detailed written treatment plan and always available to answer questions. They followed up with specialists to make sure Meow received the best treatment. The team were so gentle with Meow and nothing was too much trouble. They contacted us to see how Meow was going at home on her treatment. Best vets and team we have ever visited, I only wish that we had found them sooner.

Our baby catboy Gremlin became extremely sick, very fast and the team did all they could to try and save him. Unfortunately despite all their efforts they could not and he passed away. What I appreciated the most during this traumatic time was the effort, the compassion, the care and understanding of the team at Rockdale vets. The honesty and the willingness to troubleshoot as well as the updates, the contact were all very appreciated. What you want from a vet is them to treat your fur babies like the family they are. And they did. From our family, thank you.

Dr Rob, Dr Elaine and the team were wonderful to us and our poor little girl who spent the whole night adventuring outside and getting hit by a car breaking her front leg. They were fantastic at being calm and caring in our time of panic, squeezing our emergency in, aswell as giving Nisha the best possible care through multiple surgeries and many, many appointments. I cannot thank the team enough for fixing our little girl and making the horrible situation easier for us all. HIGHLY recommend this guys!

Dr Rob is an extremely caring, considerate vet. He is very good at what he does, very gentle with our dogs and will take the extra time to help your pet feel more comfortable being examined and answer any questions you may have. Took my staffy today for an issue she was having with her leg. Dr Elaine was super caring and a pleasure to deal with. Showed so much compassion for my dog who was in a bit of grief and also took the time to explain the issue to me. She is super friendly and helpful and I was really happy with her service I will definitely be back

Jen was amazing . It’s my first time to own a pet and she advised me to register to pet immediately and Jen filled the form and registered it for me. when my pet got lost in shop , I got call where they found my pet from the registration done by Jen. and Dr Mat was very informative and give me a plenty of information.

Excellent little vet clinic! Attentive and caring vets, great staff, comfortable rooms. As you can see, my little boy was more than happy to make himself comfy while we waited for the vet. The vets were thorough in their checks and communicated issues and recommendations clearly. Exactly what you want in a good vet!

Rochdale Vet Hospital took such great care of our 15 year old border collie. The vets were kind, calm and so caring and made sure she was attended to promptly especially for the emergency surgery. All prices were made clear from the outset and nothing was a surprise. Highly recommend Rockdale Vet Hospital!

Dr Rob is amazing with our anxious rescue dog Peanut. The team always take the time to do all they can to make her and us feel as comfortable as possible. The difference in the level of care from other vets that we have visited is vast. I'd recommend Rockdale Veterinary Hospital to any pet owner.

My cat needed immediate surgery regarding her bottom canines. The vets were fantastic, explained everything that was going on with her bottom teeth and made me feel easy with leaving her there. The clinic has a really nice vibe and the vets there are wonderful. Definitely my new veterinarians.

Rockdale Veterinary Hospital is in my opinion, the best Veterinary Hospital I have been to. Rob is the most caring, compassionate vet and the nurses are wonderful. I wouldn't consider taking my precious Cavaliers, Hermione Granger, Rita Hayworth and Lady Gaga anywhere else.

Amazing vet. I looked for ages to find a good vet in Sydney after moving. Rockdale is doing an amazing job managing my older Giant Breed dog. The vets and knowledgeable and all the staff kind. I have no issue recommending this vet to anyone.
