This review is not based of my amazing service I have received from Dr.Alice Chan. She was great with my elderly German shepherd. I sadly had to put down this past December. This review is for the horrible front end staff that gave attitude because I was running late for an appointment today. I’m sorry but you guys have had me wait in my car for an hour or more for an appointment when my dog was very poorly for a scheduled appointment . I was late 15 min for my cat and it was the end of the world. I have spent thousands upon thousands at this clinic and will no longer be using your services. I don’t know what has happened to your clinic but the front end staff were compassionate and accommodating in the past. Even over the phone my partner was told to figure it out and get back to them. I realize I was late for the appointment by 15 minutes and this was my fault. But I don’t like the condescending looks and responses. This was very unprofessional and I would have totally understood me being late may have been an inconvenience. But it was the responses from your unprofessional staff in the front that I have decided to seize using your services.

All the staff at the Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital are very friendly and professional. Dr. Charlie Sulko is an outstanding vet. After two or three years of annual check ups where he recommended dental extractions for my cat, I was finally able to bring her in for the procedure. My cat's personality completely changed after the procedure. She went from a slightly timid cat who rarely wanted to cuddle and always stopped just out of my reach, to a very loud and playful cat, who always wants to sit on me and cuddle. We even hear her running around and playing during the night, something she never did before. Her fur went from dull, mousy, and matted, to smooth and shiny with no mats. I was initially reluctant about dental procedures on cats because it's relatively expensive, and not widely practiced (from what I understand). If you've been putting off a dental procedure for your pet, I recommend re-evaluating your decision! You will be in good hands with Dr. Sulko and your pet will thank you for it.

Since my pets are like my children, I only want the best, most knowledgeable and compassionate vets to care for them. I followed Dr. Chan over to Rocky Ridge from another clinic and my cats have continued to be her patients. Alice is a very knowledgeable and caring veterinarian who has a wonderful bedside manner (and a great sense of humor!). I have seen Dr. Charlie as well and if you read the reviews on him, they are bang on. Ditto for Dr. Perz (who I saw at her previous clinic many years ago). Kat (the animal tech) really is a cat whisperer. I truly appreciate how she can get my cats to do almost anything, which is saying a lot given they are rescue cats with, shall we say, a few peculiarities ;) In a nutshell, ALL of the staff at Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital satisfy my ridiculously high standards and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. My fur babies are definitely worth the longer drive.

I followed shannon here! They are great. They have better prices than the VCA hospitals. Dr.Perz is the best Vet. I worked in the Vet industry for about 14 years and I would have to say that shannon is a very down to earth vet who actually listens and explains things to you in a way that is understandable but not demeaning. Also I know working along side her that she was nice to the staff and compassionate about her work. Shannon also goes the conservative route, she will not pressure you into anything unless it's absolutely needed. As for the clinic they have a great team like kat who is a nurse that I also worked with and she has always treated me with respect and really loves all the animals. The main receptionist there is amazing. She is on the ball and is very nice. Being the face of the clinic it's a very important role ! I would recommend this clinic hands down.

I've had to take my cat to Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital twice now for urgent medical issues, and I can't say enough good things about them. Their team is highly skilled and super professional - simply put, they know what they're doing. While their services aren't exactly budget-friendly, you have to remember you're paying for top-quality emergency care. When it's a matter of your pet's health, you really don't want to cut corners. So, if you ever find yourself in need of a reliable vet, especially during an emergency, I would wholeheartedly recommend Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital. They've turned potentially heartbreaking situations into positive outcomes for my cat, and for that, I'm incredibly grateful.

We recently started taking our Yorkie here after moving into the neighborhood and have found this vet to be a couple orders of magnitude better than our last vet. We thought they were decent but Rocky Ridge is great. My dog is still nervous when he visits but I don't feel like they're trying to up-sell treatments like other vets do. When he's had a problem they've been able to see him right away and were able to get him sorted out for half the price I would have paid at my last vet. And they've followed up with a call a few days later after each visit to make sure treatments were working. It really feels like they care about the dog and not seeing how deep they can get into my wallet.

Coming to Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital feels like going to a cozy, small town, family vet. Dr. Charlie has been looking after my cats for the past 10 years and I don't know how I got so lucky in finding him. He is compassionate, calm and always takes the time to listen to my crazy cat concerns. The staff is unbelievably nice. I never feel rushed when talking to them on the phone and they always follow up with me to see how my cats are doing. I recently moved across the city and I refuse to go anywhere else, even if that means hauling the cats in a cab. I'm so happy that I found such an amazing place with incredible people!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this clinic. Every staff member is so kind and patient with my more than a little vocal kitty. Also, Dr. Alice is such a gem, I hope we can keep her forever. I also think the pricing here is more than fair and I've never had anything suggested that seemed unreasonable. Anyway, to sum this up. This place is amazing! February 2023 edit: Since my last review we have also seen Dr Charlie. He has also been super good to my kitty, however I have seen that he is leaving later this year. My five star rating still stands!

We have had a very good experience with Dr. Charlie and the whole staff at this clinic. Not only does my timid dog love them, but they are very cooperative, caring, and knowledgable. Dr. Charlie did 2 successful cherry eye surgeries and neutered our dog, and we really trust and respect him not only as a vet, but also as a person. He was very calm and friendly with our dog, and we really appreciate the effort and support of everyone at this clinic, and would highly recommend it for anyone who cares about their pet.

My chihuahua had to have surgery which was very stressful for her and me! I trust Dr. Charlie which is why I drive 30 mins to him because he really understands small dogs and how sensitive they are. When I arrived to pick up my dog today the nurses had shown me photos of her. They cuddled her all day in a blanket so she wasn’t scared or alone. I really appreciate how good they were with a scared little dog and JoJo and I are both so grateful! I also find the prices quite reasonable (less than I was anticipating).

I have been going to this clinic for a number of years. Sarah Barnsley is our vet. There are really no words to convey how wonderful she is as well as all of the staff at this clinic. I had to say goodbye to my 16 year beautiful Daca and they made the process so caring and loving and PEACEFUL!! They 100% understood the breaking of a heart through the loss. The staff here are great - they take the time to get to know your pets and are very trusting. We recently had to bring our cat here for the first time and the experience was night and day compared to our old vet. We live in the SW and are happy to drive across the city to see Dr Charlie and his staff. Highly recommended! Thank you Dr Charlie and your staff for looking after Slevin so well. You're amazing and we really appreciate how much you cared for and got to know our cat.

We are very grateful to have Dr. Chan taking care of our rescue pup for the past 2 years. She is quite reactive, and while we are working on it, it can sometimes be very disheartening when people judge her based on her behaviours. Dr. Chan is kind, very knowledgeable and really seems to care about the pets she treats. She knew exactly how to handle our dog to gain her trust; no growling, or muzzle needed. We will continue to drive from Airdrie to see her. Highly recommend!

Dr. Alice has been the most outstanding care provider looking after our girl Sydney. Our little Cocker Spaniel was born with numerous health issues and Dr. Alice took the time to inform us about what to expect during Sydneys time with us. Sydney loves to visit with her doctor and her staff. The service providers at this clinic are the most caring, knowledgeable, and friendly people we have ever encountered. Thank you and bless your heart Dr. Alice.

Never hesitate to leave positive reviews for those who deserve it. We have taken our cat to this vet several times. Dr. Charlie is very reasonable with fees, did an amazing job (with our very docile and nice cat) and really cares about animals. We unfortunately had to have almost all of our cat's teeth removed but it was done exceptionally well, she recovered fine, and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg. Can't recommend them enough.

If your dog has a skin condition or any sort of skin problem/issue, this clinic is the best place to go. Dr. Chan is super friendly, always very helpful and informative, and always eager to help us come up with different solutions and ways to manage and control our German Shepherd’s skin condition. Clean facility, friendly staff (they will also call to check up on your pet) and Dr’s who really know their stuff!!!

Cannot say enough good things about this clinic. Dr. Charlie is fantastic. So caring and helped us through a really rough day of having to put our beloved cat down. Originally found this clinic because it was near my house, but even after moving to the SW, I still took Lance to see him. We have never been to Rocky Ridge Pet Hospital before but needed to get our young dog in as he has in a lot of pain due to a ear infection. My regular vet office was closed so I called RRPH and they got him is right away. The lady on the phone was very kind of attentive. The Doctor was great and diagnosed the problem right away. Thank you so much. We might just be switching Vets now.

I will drive across the city passing many other vets to come here. The staff is amazing and the vets are even better. Edit: the staff and procedures have gone downhill. They no longer call to ensure your appointments are scheduled ahead or, that your pet is up to date on their shots. When you do call, there's little to no help or advice. It's taken a complete 180 unfortunately.

Great experience with this vet office. I've taken my cat to three different vets and this one was by far my the best of them. Dr. Charlie was very helpful and all the staff was very friendly to myself and my cat. Was able to get my cat in on the day I called which was awesome. Prices are extremely reasonable compared to other vets. Will be sticking with this vet in the future!

This has to be the best vet I've been to in a long time. Not only was Dr. Charlie super sweet and friendly but he totally put my mind at ease financially as well. I had taken my dog to another clinic for a dental estimate and it was over 3 times as much as the estimate I recieved at this clinic. I will highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Dr. Charlie is very calm and down to earth. He really takes his time with each patient, and always makes me and my animals feel like his top priority. Everyone at this vet clinic is knowledgeable and kind- both to us and our senior dog. They always keep us well informed about what is needed and how everything is going if procedures are being performed. They are reasonably priced and always give us accurate estimates. I would definitely recommend Dr Alice and her associates to care for your pets.

Both Dr. Charlie and Dr. Alice are outstanding with their two-legged and especially their four-legged clients (they probably even care for some three-legged survivors!) The reception and assisting staff are great too. No gouging on the invoice and tons of genuine care and compassion. Thrilled to have discovered this clinic.

what a hard thing to do is to bring a loved animal in to be put down.. my beloved cat SOX of age 16.was put down due to age...she was giving signs. rocky ridge pet hospital was very soft spoken and was very easy to deal with..girl at counter was great.. thank you for being kind... Dr. Charlie is hands down the best most compassionate vet I have ever met. From our first visit it was apparent that he truly cares about the animals. If you have never been to the rocky ridge pet hospital you should. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Great hours, competitive pricing and a loving staff.

We had our boy Rogan booked with Dr. Charlie who took the time to thoroughly go through Rogan's medical files and health certificates. He is a very precise and knowledgeable, explaining everything in detail. Amazing Vet! Very professional and friendly team of veterinarian's and support staff. Highly Recommended.

The process of working to help my sick animal was more of a guessing game to the point that the same medical options were suggested even thought the had failed a few weeks earlier when tried. I feel the staff looking at my animal were just hoping their guesses would work.

Had to put down my beloved German Shepherd last week. We were treated with kindness and respect, and incredible compassion. The hardest thing we've ever had to do was treated with utmost care. Thank you, Dr. Charlie, for helping Kayla cross the bridge so peacefully.

Dr Charlie has been looking after Ruby since she was a puppy. She trusts him and is comfortable going to see him. He is very gentle with the animals and always gives a good explanation of what he is going to do and what he observes during your visit.
