When you initially start your way through the gates, after you are greeted by the lumps of trash, including a broken baby car seat, you will be met with a ( could be nice ) little creek, if it didn't look entirely like a toxic waste creek, or TRASH creek. It's disgusting! I mean there is a sign that warns of a health hazard!! After you get past there and start to enter the park if you veer left there is a nice little area with some large rocks and trails. After that it's full on H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. Creepy people leering while you drive through, trash strewn all throughout. Great attractions, B-Ball, Tennis, Picnic areas. I don't own a new car but I was still worried about getting broken into if I tried to use any of the attractions. It's really disappointing and with a ranger on duty I really can't understand how it is in such disarray, not to mention it's just embarrassing to the human race. Don't bring your kids, dogs, or YOU. :(

I don't consider this park anything special as far as beautiful scenery or must-see landscaping. But it a good park for the young kids to play. Also, acceptable for picnicking. I like riding my bike there too, but the paved area for walking or biking around the forest section is only about 1.2 miles, so I circle multiple times to increase stamina for longer rides elsewhere. The forest pathway is nice for beginners too and provides shade which is helpful during summer heat. What I don't like about this park are the ferocious looking German Sheps. Owners and their dogs sometimes take over certain areas, and you might have to cross paths with. I'm concerned that one will get loose and attack, especially, because of a recent death by mauling of an 80-year-old man. I was bitten too by a stray dog just outside the park fence and had to call the police. Terrible!

It's a family oriented park with trails, basketball, park, barbque pits, stream not to be played in or fished in, Clean bathrooms, gazebos to rent for events . But lots of trash bags and liter on trees and ground as you walk through back trail because of the rain and High waters I'm guessing. I have enjoyed this park for many years . Even walked back trail when it wasn't made like it is today with concrete but just up to bridge. Hopefully we can get some community servies people cleaning up or organize a community clean up day.

The park is quite expansive with lots of courts and fields. Unfortunately, at the moment a lot of the park is not allowed to be used due to COVID-19 restrictions (e.g. the tennis courts have had their nets taken down and the basketball court has barrels and tape to prevent play from occurring). There is lots of parking. One of the lots looks like a drive in theatre. Perhaps the County Commissioner could host a drive in movie (i.e. you could put up a screen and have cars park at least one spot apart to socially distance).

Lots of open space. I actually help renovate this park back in 2011 upgrading the park with a 1mile jogging trail. The trail is awesome. Surrounding you with nothing but nature is so peaceful. The different turns and smooth incline paved trail with bench to rest makes it fun. Love the fact that the trail connects to the Levi park underneath Old hwy 90. Hope to see more park benches and BBQ pits in the future.

Nice place to get away and go for a walk, little body of water, I think you can fish but not recommended to eat. Nice walk and bike trail. Few parks and slides for the kids. Personally I like hearing true crime stories when I walk, headphones on full blast makes the walk more scary , intense. Criminally Listed on YouTube if anyone is interested....

Booked this park a year ago! Our family reunion is next week, an they are now saying we have to pay $600 for security. They had said we could hire our own and now a week before they are asking for $600!! How can security cost more than the park?? What kind of BS is this! We may have to scrap this! This is a low blow!! We are very sad by this!!

It's okay for a quick walk if you are in the area. The trail is paved and very short. There is quite a bit of trash and debris along the trail especially near the creek. There is a park attached with playground, field, half court basketball court, and bbq pits. Maybe fun for someone looking to enjoy a family cookout or an easy walk.

My experiences here have been great but while I was eating a family approached me and said that their dogs got killed by 2 other dogs. I immediately picked my dogs up and ran to the car but this was my only incident. If you go in the last hour of closing you will be confronted that the park will close. Nice trail and resting areas.

Loma Park neighborhood had a reunion: residents from '52 -'75. Place was trashed out. Got manager transferred out. Creek is contaminated from runoff from industrial dump north of park. I could not get Paul Elizondo's office to assist. Do not allow kids or pets to play or drink out of creek. Serious contaminants !!!

Had a great time at my grand babies 1st b'day, the park has enough tables so you don't have to stress about not being able to find one, and the playground was so close to us we could watch our kids play, only thing was we had to be out by 6 and the party started at 430, but the security let us stay 30mins longer.

The park is nice but there was a lot of trash . Not just lil trash but lots of broken glass. Also one of the playgrounds we're closed with a fence around it . So hopefully they get that fixed soon. Also the bathroom! NO DOORS! So a man or lil kid could literally walk in on us .. other than that it was ok.

We had a family celebration there at one of the reserved pavilions. The day was beautiful. The tables and cover was good. The surrounding asphalt was terrible. It was so uneven one adult twisted an ankle and at least one child fell. The road entering the park off Old Hwy 90 was littered with bulky trash.

Very nice, clean, family feel park. Lots of benches and bbq pits. Trail and a volleyball area with sand to play in. A good stretch of land to help you not feel too cluttered. Two sets of b-ball courts and plenty of play areas for kids to enjoy themselves. Haven’t been to a park this nice in a while.

Rodriguez park is absolutely gorgeous it has plenty of barbecue pits ,two or three playground for the kids, with safe protocols and lots of pecan trees, the maintenance is well-kept, highly recommended for a good day to relax and enjoy the natural habitat with family and friends.

Had a great time at the Latin world Car Show today. Definitely worth the time. A lot of beautiful cars and good people and Good Eats. The only downside was it got pretty hot pretty quick and we had to leave a little bit early because my daughter was extremely uncomfortable.

Every step around the pavillion are tripping hazards. Expect a twisted ankle. Other than that it isn't too bad except visitors include low riding badding vehicles driving by ... Kinda of nerve racking with all the gun violence of late. Greenway addition is cool.

Great park I go walking there they added another trail which it's great open and clean they are still doing some construction but it will look better than it was lots of people going walking around there and great for BBQ there too they have kids park too

Great for large parties that include food, dancing, kids, outdoor activities. Pavillions have fans, stage, dance floor, playground close by, open fields for sports or physical activities, private party kitchen and bathroom access, and plenty of parking

Its nice and quite here. They maintain the park very well. Its never trashy or unkept. The basketball courts could use an upgrade thats for sure. Its a good place to come visit at least once . It has some good open space. I will be coming back.

Very spacious and great for cookouts .There is multiple play areas for kids ,basket ball park and even area for volley ball.Very nice nature trail for exercise or maybe just to bring ur pet

This place has cleaned up a LOT! It has a walking trail that is pretty good in size as well. It's much more appealing and can truly be appreciated as a park with the changes, improvements, and most of all, the cleanliness it has undergone.

If you have to make a delivery here truck entrance is off Gena and Jerome. If you go in off of Rodriguez like they told me to do you are going to pay hell getting turned around You will not fit under the sign or make their right turn in

I like this park to spend time with family and friends. I go to this park once in a while to take a walk or play sports. They need to put more trash cans closer to the baseball and football fields they don't have any around there.

Love the improvement they have made for bike riders its definitely nice to take a stroll with the family.The playground for the kids is great shaded and as well as picnic tables all around park so you can enjoy the nice weather .

Man this is my park my childhood memories are here. I wish it was like this back in the 90s lol. Great renovations. The trail makes it way better. Hard to believe there use to be a balloom/bar and houses where the trail is lol.

It's a nice place to take the family too..they have lots of fun n games swings and there's even a baby park for babies bad _ _ _..lol..that was my 2nd time going down there before they fixed it n made it all nice and pretty...

A good place to let your dog run around. Also a good place to have events, just bring tents and umbrellas because of the harsh sun. But its a good place to play soccer and other sports events. Good walking trail.

Has a good size trail to jog or walk water fountains if you bring pets with you the river is pretty cool just heard the fish have metals from the airplanes flying to Kelly so wouldn't eat them

Beautiful family friendly park. If your planning on cooking out or a picnic I suggest bringing a canopy not much shade. Other than that I highly suggest this park, clean restrooms as well!

Really nice place to relax and let your kids run free. Great big field. Plenty of play areas. They have a reserved party area. Grill area ... It was just all around nice, quiet , and safe

This park has a very nice trail for walking or biking. It's quiet and relaxing. There are plenty of picnic tables and playground areas. It is not overcrowded and very family friendly.

I looooove this place its been upgraded and has like 10 different play places for the kids, hundreds of picnic tables and the hiking trail is soo peaceful. We spend hours here!

Great family park. My granddaughter had her baby shower at the pavilion in the back. Everything was nice and clean, bathrooms were located in the pavilion. It was great.
