This review is the last bit of time I will waste on this unprofessional company. The fact is, this company came to my house to not only charge a $130 fee "to step foot into my house," they charged an additional $202.66 to repair tub handles from Home Depot which did not fit. The tub handles do not allow me to properly turn the water all the way off- and it's not just a little drip! May I add, the tub faucet was not dripping prior to this janky service. Abraham, who installed the handles, admitted they weren't the correct handles and proceeded to shave the metal on them to make them fit. I was unsatisfied. So, YES, I called my bank and stopped payment on the check! You left my house creating a bigger problem than what I initially called you for. Now, I'll have a higher water bill PLUS the returned check fee my bank charges to stop checks. Then 9 days later, you sent employee Justin to my house to "collect payment"? How dangerous and unprofessional is that? Anyway, I politely invited him into my home to assess the new problem that was created by their so-called, "experienced plumbers." Justin advised me to call and speak to Pam to explain the issue. After trying to negotiate a fair price with Pam to allow this company to charge me for their shoddy work, she threatened to file with the State Attorney's office for a worthless check and to put a lien against my home of which I'm currently in the process of renovating, before hanging up in my face. Thanks Pam. I don't know how worthy your company will feel on how you represented them in this situation since you had the opportunity to recover some money but now won't be collecting anything at all. For a company, I'm pretty sure filing fees and that whole process will cost them way more than the original invoice. Thanks anyway for not accepting what I offered to pay and hanging up on me. If that was your excuse of an "attempt" to collect, that's what you call WORTHLESS. Since deep down you don't seem to care about the company finances, the safety of the employees, or customer service, I'll help you with the downfall of your employer. I'll be sure NOT to recommend Rolland Reash Plumbing. I'll even be so kind as to pay my increased water bill since you so gratuitously relieved me from paying your company's invoice. That’s fair. Afterall, it's not $362.66 and a water bill coming out of your pocket. Am I right, Pam? To prove my case, since you want to get the State Attorney involved, I plugged my tub on the day Justin visited my home so you can see just how much water is going down the drain and the cheap, incorrect handles that were purchased. My garden tub filled in 3 days. So, actually I've wasted 3 full tubs of water since your first visit. Pictures included. On the front page of your company website it states, "You can depend on our premier plumbing company to provide reliable, affordable, and prompt plumbing services." I beg to differ.
Very petty people who didn't stand by their word to refund the $40. Ice maker line right? Very simple procedure you would think. I had the refrigerator moved out of the way & the drywall cut for the repair and very clean for the repair person. Didn't need any water line connected or drywall patched. They charged me $276 for the job and around $90 for the valve when in reality it costs only $15 plus a few bucks for glue and couplings. They also charged me to repair drywall when in fact I never requested this. The only reasonable charge was for the cpvc parts: $2 for couplings, etc. I spoke to Kyle and ran through my concerns that I was quoted a little under $200 and I was charged $276, and I didn't ask for a drywall repair and that $80+ for a ice maker valve was extremely ridiculous. He laughed at me and asked if "this was all about $40" for additional labor (15 minutes for the drywall repair I didn't ask for). I agreed, but also disagreed with the 300% markup on the water valve part was unfair to us regular people. To be clear, this valve is not made of gold or platinum. Kyle, in the brief convo we had, you were a very condescending person and probably a family member of the biz (I have a few). Trust me, being a nice person goes a long way especially if you consider I need so many plumbing services. You literally laughed at me when I was trying to express the value you didn't provide me. On a $276 job, $40 is extremely significant, Kyle. Especially if you include the 300% markup of the valve. He said he would refund the time it took the tech to patch the drywall ($40), we'll see. I don't think I'll include them on my quote for a new water heater or our sewage drain issue, etc.
Re pipe. First day they came in and put down drop clothes and covered stuff with plastic. That’s what they should do. One of the drop clothes was wet according to the wife. Based on that and it being wet and dirty she let it go. Point is, she shouldn’t have to. That was the only time they put down drop clothes Job itself, I totally get the difficulty in doing a repipe on a Hip Roof but when discussed with the sales rep the amount of Sheetrock penetrations was not really brought to light Another words he never said but at an additional price they would repair the Sheetrock He priced it as a Standard two bath with all the other hookups etc. Didn’t make it sound overly difficult As per the Sheetrock Perhaps they had to I don’t know ,but I do know the method of cutting holes in the walls was atrocious. In addition when they plugged the Sheetrock back in place they moved the bat insulation from the wall cavity and never installed it back in place. Another words , no insulation you get a hot spot. So I had to remove them and re insulate them. This is the part that really gets me. Our house was a total mess when they left. Sheetrock debris, insulation pieces all over and Sheetrock dust all over. I hate to be negative as I know they work hard however have some respect for others homes. Respect their property. So, NO I would not recommend them at all for any type of work. Haven’t heard back from them since the work. They got their money
UPDATE AS OF 12/18/2020: Thanks to Fadi. I had a drain issue with my dishwasher, and Fadi took care if it and exercised the utmost professionalism and consideration in light of the pandemic. He was masked, made it a point to keep his distance from me and answered all questions I had. He was very polite, professional and transparent. I recommend Rolland Reash Plumbing to friends, family members and colleagues who have any plumbing issues. Special thanks to Conner, Jaylen and Will. I had a slab leak, and will got my appointment scheduled first thing in the morning the next business day. They walked me through steps to take prior to the techs arriving. I was told the techs would arrive around 8:30am. My doorbell rang at 8:30am on the dot, and they began the job at 8:35. They told me it would take about 4 hours. I went home for lunch, and they we're pulling out of my driveway--literally within 4 hours of starting the job. They fixed everything and explained what they did in detail. Everyone I spoke with at this company was highly professional, kind and sympathetic to my issues. Rolland Reash Plumbing deserves my highest recommendation. I would recommend them to any family member, colleague or friend who has a plumbing issue.
In 2014, I had a slab leak under my kitchen tile. I was advised that re-pipe would be more cost effective than tearing up and replacing the tile to find and repair the leak. I called Rolland Reash plumbing, and the owner himself came out, met me, and gave me his professional and reasonable estimate. Out of the 2 or 3 estimates that I got, I chose him and his company to be my plumbers, and I'm so glad that I did. The repair was handled promptly and expertly. He even sent his son to handle the minor carpentry and painting part of the job that usually isn't handled by plumbers, for a small, nominal extra fee. Since then, I have had a slow drain, and a problem with a kitchen faucet needing to be installed by a licensed plumber, and their level of service consistently blows me away. They have come to my rescue at least 3 times now; like knights in shining armor. According to my experience with this company, there is absolutely no need to ever call anyone else. There is no comparison to their low and reasonable prices, and their above and beyond level of customer service places them beyond compare, which has made them my go to plumbers for life!
The last 2 jobs I had from Rolland Reash were nightmares to deal with. 2 years ago we had the plumber come out to fix a line behind the fridge only to have a leak gushing out, costing us alot of money and time to replace our floors in the kitchen area. The first 3 pictures are the old plumbing and the last 2 pictures are how roll and Reash installed them. 6 months ago we decided to try again assuming this was a fluke. Plumber assembled everything together and as he explained how he assembled the shower lines, the pipe busted and splashed water everywhere. Within 30 seconds of running water spilling out this damage our new drywall panels, our new laminate floor we just installed in this area days before this incident, and damages are now showing up in our shower floor. Because of this they didn't charge us for the install and had someone come redo the floor. We bought the supplies and they installed the floors. Unfortunately I can't come to terms with how they handle these situations and for that we now have Tactical Plumbing coming through for us. These pics are the before and after of what the pipe looked like and where it broke off.
I was referred to this company to help remove a frozen shower cartridge. After 45 minutes into the job, you can hear the dialog between the two gentlemen trying to fix the issue that left no confidence that they knew what they were doing and potentially making the issue worse. This went on for a few hours, adding in smoke breaks every 5-10 minutes. As the house began filling up with the smell of cigarette smoke and no progress was made, I called into the office to express my concerns. The two managed to break it down to the point where I could no longer turn my water on and had to do a full valve replacement. This was 5pm on Friday. Cut into the drywall, leaving me 3 broken pieces to fix myself, clogged shower head with plumbing tape and bedroom that smelled like smoke for a day. While the company did remove some of the costs because of the experience, time and professionalism, the pricing still felt extremely high. After this a few weeks of back and forth with billing because their accounting system was having issues. We will not be using their service in the future.
We moved into our new home in December of 2020. We needed a new hot water heater. I went to Lowe's and purchased a top of the line hot water heater. I brought the hot water heater home and figured I would call a plumber to hook up the plumbing and electrical. They sent A Man Out the following week. He was at my house for about 30 minutes. He made two Plumbing connections and one electrical connection. When he was finished, I paid him on my credit card. He asked me if I had a Sharpie that he could borrow to write on the new hot water heater the date of the installation. After he left, I spent 2 hours cleaning up the dried up yellow glue off of my garage floor. Over the past couple of years, I tried to contact and speak to Roland. Unfortunately, the only one I am able to talk to is Pam. Not only has she denied talking to me, Roland Reese has put a lien on my house. She told me that Roland doesn't talk to anyone, but that all calls go through her. I really hope that Roland will see this review and give me a call.
I had a water softener installed by Roland Reash Plumbing. After the job was completed and the plumbers left I had resin coming out of all my water lines. This is a brand new home and my lines were all of a sudden block from the resin because they installed it backwards. A second crew came back to fix the problem and also installed the filter on the softener backwards and could not unclog my lines and left at 10:30 PM. The next day another crew came back and replaced all my new sink faucets and toilet bowl parts and cleaned out all my lines the showers, dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator line for the ice. The pipes outside and inside were never wrapped or caulked leaving that for me to do. I never received a courtesy call from the owner to apologize and to see if everything was satisfactory. What a nightmare. I hope down the road this will not cause me a problem or a expense. I hired them because of their 5 star rating. I'm very dissatisfied with Roland Reash Plumbing
I am a kitchen and bathroom remodeler. I hired Rolland to move the fridge line and at a pot filler in the kitchen I am remodeling. From my first contact with Mike B. who came out the next day to give me a quote. I then sat on the quote for a few weeks until I knew when we were starting the project. Then emailed them and the lady in the office emailed me right back and called me to go over everything since this was the first time we worked together. Justin H. over saw my project and sent out Noah and Marcus to do the work. Noah and Marcus were the best. I was working there while they were as well and they were great to just chat with. They did a great job and got it all taken care of. Price was competitive but the service I got was well worth it. I would recommend them to my family and friends and ask for Justin Hammock to oversee your project. He will make sure you are taken care of with great work and customer service. I will be using them on my projects.
I had an old pipe in my garage that was over 40 yrs old that needed replacing that leaked up under my garage slab and and needed an estimate and after calling around and I called Rolland Reash Plumbing and they gave me an estimate that was reasonable and I talked to Joe Pesch and they came last Friday 5/19 and removed a small area of our garage floor and replaced the old galvanized pipe with new PVC pipe and poured the concrete in that area and after they came back on Monday 5/22, Sean Kay was the tech that finished up and put our sink back and hooked everything back and I spoke with him about placing a new faucet .and he was able to do so. When we went out to see what was done, it was very clean and we have not had another leak. I am very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend your company to others.
Condescending customer service by both Holly and Kyle. Absolutely unacceptable. No quote for the job before coming to the house, apparently "new" plumber told us, incorrectly, the quote was $300, and drywall repair (after he cut a huge hole) was included in the price. We told him to go ahead and do the job. He "finished early" and charged $267, and before leaving, said a drywall specialist would come by later today and fix what he had to tear out - that he would coordinate that. No such person came, and when we called back, Kyle's snarky comments after telling us it would cost $150 an hour plus material for the drywall repair were "well, what did you think? it would be just free?".... no, not free, included in the price like we were told..? just wow.. absolute robbery and unprofessionalism from start to finish.
I have a rental and they called me 7:38 am Sunday morning to tell me they could hear water leaking and the kitchen tile was warm. Called two local plumbers and got quotes that were comparable. Went with the lesser of the two quotes and got a call from my renter that they were going to demolish all the cabinets on one side of the kitchen. I said no thanks and called American Leak detection who confirmed the leak was where I thought it was and then called Rolland Reash Plumbing. They came out immediately and didn't try to up sell me on a whole house re-pipe. Mark and Kyle were professional, friendly and told me exactly what they were going to do. I got to watch and it was awesome. They work together like they are family. Thanks Mark and Kyle, you were great!
Justin and his crew did such an amazing job on the repipe for our home. They were professional, kind, answered all of our questions during the process, kept everything very clean and were courteous of our home. Eric who came out when we first had our slab leak, was amazing. He explained the entire process in detail and understood our needs and what we were going through and had the patience of a saint. This company truly has a customer for life! Even the girl who came out to do the drywall patching was fabulous! Pandora in the office was great at answering any questions or concerns we had before and after the process. Everyone in this company was great! Thank you for making a difficult situation easier to deal with! We appreciate you all greatly!
My wife and I have been relying on Roland Reach Plumbing for over 15 years. We have always found them to be reliable, fair and honest as well as professional and skilled at whatever job they have preformed for us. Our most recent experience was with a plumber named Fadi. I was a bit skeptical on first meeting him as he seemed so young. That soon disappeared as I watched and was impressed by his knowledge and skill and pride he put in his work. He explained each step of replacing our faulty shower and I could tell he knew his stuff. This has been the case with every plumber that has worked on various projects for us over the years, My wife and I would Highly recommend Roland and his team without hesitation or reservation! Always A+++++
This company is awesome! They re-plumbed my entire house w/ CPVC, drywalled all the holes, & installed two toilets. The price was way cheaper than the other quotes I received and the quality of work was amazing. Nothing but good things to say about everyone I dealt with...when a problem arose with the scheduler, the owner fixed the problem immediately; very military friendly. Joe, who gave the quote was on time and professional, and Anthony & Jalen, who performed the work did an excellent job. They were neat, timely, professional, cleaned up after every day, and when the job took longer than expected, they worked late days, showed up early, and worked on a holiday.
Excellent service. From scheduling appointments to project work to transition from team to team, Rolland Reash plumbing delivered 5-star service. I have used them to replumb my entire house and for bathroom repairs. The teams that come out are professional and keep you informed, clean up after their project, and most of all introduce themselves when they arrive. On top of that, they call when delayed and also when en route to the location. Kudos for a great team effort. Thanks to Connor, Anthony, and Jennifer for all working together to provide A+ service this time. Thanks to anyone else who I might have missed in this post. You are appreciated as well!!!!
Amazing service all around! Spoke with Jennifer over the phone to schedule an appointment. She made an appointment for me the next day and clarified the service charges prior to the visit. Got a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Connor and Jaylen arrived in a timely and professional manner. I had a problem with the water heater leaking. They assessed the problem. Once they returned with the pieces they completed the installation in no time. Connor was able to explain to me how the water heater operates and where the problem was. I'm a first time homeowner and would highly recommend their services and will be using them again in the future.
Excellent service quick response. I called them at 9:45pm and they answered right away. I called 4 other plumbers before calling them and none of them answered. I asked a few questions to determine if I needed service right away or could I wait until morning. They advised me that it would be okay to wait and they would have someone call me the next morning. Next morning I got a phone call at 7am and Scott was at my house by 8:30. He was very professional and explained what he was doing step by step. I highly recommend Rolland Reash plumbing. Thank you Scott for professional service.
Had an upstairs toilet leak, apartment complex called Rolland to come fix. Rolland came then left for 2 hours with no further info, came back for another 5 minutes and "fixed" the issue with no further information, then left immediately telling us to get someone else to clean the mess. They were flushing repeatedly to find the issue, which is understandable, but made no attempt to clean the massive amounts of water now causing more damage than previously. They were also very rude and disrespectful despite us being as nice as possible and asking if they needed anything like towels.
Did not seem to know the faucet construction. Tried to offer a replacement before even looking at it. The issue was a simple fix, the cartridge inside got loose. Told me it has to sit for a bit for whatever reason before putting it together. I waited 10 minutes To find them both sitting in the van smoking milking the clock. When I asked how much longer they rushed back in put it back together in a less than a minute and charged me extra 20$ for sitting in the van smoking stating it was over 1st 45 minutes which was not the case. I will never use their services again.
Rolland Reash Plumbing does outstanding work! I called them for an emergency issue with my water heater this weekend. They let me know how long it would take for someone to come, called me to confirm the exact arrival time and sent over a professional plumber who was going to make sure he assessed every aspect of the issue so that it would be repaired correctly. He did an outstanding job and all the people that I spoke with were very easy to work with. I highly recommend that you call Rolland Reash Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs.
I can't express my adoration for RR plumbing enough. I was originally a commercial customer that had an amazing experience with them (during and after construction). This led me to use them at my own home, initially for a total drain line replacement on an 80 year old house. With only one, very reasonable, issue connecting said ancient plumbing, they came back and assisted in the bathroom renovation to shore it up. I know ALL their staff to be quick, helpful, and amazingly courteous. BUT, if you can get Anthony you've struck gold.
Excellent experience! In a time when all home vendors are backed up for weeks and I even had a plumber tell me that they are no longer accepting new clients (like the dentist does!), these folks were kind, professional and go the job booked quickly. It is for a real estate closing and we had very specific parameters. We also had an owner that is out of the area. Payment was arranged successfully, and the technicians arrived on time. Great experience! Christine Williams, a local real estate professional
I had a water leak in my garage. I first hired a leak detecting company to isolate the leak and they couldn’t. I had a plumber to detect the leak and he couldn’t. Than based on the recommendation of a friend I hired Roland. These guys in no time isolated the problem and fixed it quickly for a reasonable price. I have nothing but words of admiration for them. I very strongly recommend them. I am sure that you will not be disappointed at all. You will get the best quality work at a very reasonable price.
Excellent service. Highly recommend. Called on a Sunday and was offered either emergency rate appointment or the could come next day with regular rate. We didn’t have emergency so we chose next day, and plumber showed up promptly (if not a slightly early) at 8:30am appointment. Quickly assessed problem and was able to take care of it. Replaced faucet and performed concrete repair to properly seal it back up. Looks beautiful! Answered all questions we had about the process and work. Would call again.
Rolland Reash Plumbing came through in a pinch when my water heater needed to be disconnected and moved so I could get a new Air Handler installed. Mike and Jake were excellent at getting it re-installed and running new water lines to it; they even included 2 new shutoff valves (hot & cold) that I didn’t have before. Closet looks so much better and I have the peace of mind that it was done properly and professionally. I will definitely use them again for future plumbing issues.
Just want to say our visit for unclogging a pipe was one of the best service experiences ever! The employees were extremely polite and personable and cared so much about the work they were doing. Had issues with machinery not working and were open and honest about the issues and stopped our billing time so they could go exchange it and came back to finish up. Just all around nice guys who did a great job. Will be using them again if we encounter any plumbing issues!
I had a fairly small job ... leaking valve in the master shower and an improperly installed handle from a different company. Called RRP John came out quickly and did a great job at a fair price ... I was so happy with their work that I asked them to replace my hot water heater. They scheduled the work within 4 hours, this time Mike took care of it and again the price and quality exceeded my expectations. Use these guys, they are great at their craft.
Our experience with Rolland Reash Plumbing was very pleasant. We replaced our kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. The associates that came out were Fadi and Denis and they were excellent. They showed on time and completed the job to perfection in a very timely and professional manner. We were also pleased with how affordable our service was. We definitely recommend this company and would use them again in the future.
I like to read the review before making my decision for the service and I was really impress with Mr. Will whom I'd the pleasure in answer my questions and schedule my appointment. I'll like to thanks the two gentlemen who came out. If you're looking for a Plumbing Job, you can reach out to Rolland's Reash for their good value, good quality, professional, and on time as my schedule appointment. Stay True For Your Good Value!
Very glad I called them to come help with a clogged main line drain that was flooding the downstairs bathroom. They came out very quickly and we're even able to give me an idea about price before coming out. The plumbers were very friendly and professional, they fixed the problem quickly, and I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone. I would highly recommend using them, and they will be my go-to in the future.
Huge thank you to Zach for coming same day to repair 2 plumbing issues. Zach was very knowledgeable, professional & friendly. He repaired a leaking valve in the bathtub & repaired an outdoor faucet pipe that was leaking. Roland Reash is definitely my go to plumber now! Thank you Pam for excellent customer service. I appreciate you taking my call this morning & getting same day service. Thank you all very much.
I had a new shower head installed and a toilet set. I had no complaints on the work completed; however I did feel I was overcharged based on the conversations I had with the Rolland Reach team. I called in and spoke with Kyle and he actually made adjustments on the final invoice. What a wonderful surprise. I would highly recommend this company and I'm grateful to Kyle for listening to me and taking action.
I got several estimates for a re-piping job before I decided on Roland Reash Plumbing. They gave a very competitive quote and the experience turned out to be very positive. Fadi and John did the work while I worked from home and had great communication and managed to take care of an additional leak discovered behind the wall. They did a great job and I will definitely use them again.
Don't bother calling anyone else. From initial phone call to final product Rolland Reash sets the benchmark for professional excellence. Ryan and his partner worked efficiently to resolve my issue. They also offered helpful suggestions while they were here. UPDATE 10/03/23: contacted Rolland Reash for water feed/valve repair. Tech was prompt, polite and did an excellent job.
I am giving a shout out to Zach from Rolland Reash! He found out hot water issue in the kitchen sink in 5 minutes. Zach has done other plumbing work at two of my houses and has ALWAYS does professional work. Zach saved Christmas this year - can you imagine a big Christmas dinner & then no hot water for the dishwasher or sink?!? Thank You, Zach and Rolland Reash!
They came out to give me a price for re-doing my shower. The guy looks the job over and says it will be $3000. We talked a bit and then, on his way out he says: I'll get a written quote to you for $3500. Price went up $500 in 5 minutes. Then to top it off, even after bugging him twice via text, I never received a written quote. Pitiful.
This business was very responsive and professional which is such a rare trait in plumbing these days. Shout out to David for replacing my water heater in my time of need! He was in constant communication with me on every step he was doing and was entertaining while doing it. This is my new go to place for any plumbing needs!
They came out and re-piped the house that I am renting. They were here for 3 days up in the hot hot attic (really felt bad for the guys) but they did a very good job. Mike was very professional and very knowledgeable and kept me informed on what they were doing. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing jobs..
If there was 10 stars, I would give them 10 stars! They came to my Mom's rescue. Mark was friendly, professional and very courteous. Miranda in the office was so accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend Rolland and look forward to them doing additional plumbing repairs to my Mom's home. Thank you Rolland!
We needed a new toilet installed in our MB and an outside leaky faucet repaired. Christian & Damion arrived on time and completed the job(s) quickly and efficiently. There was no mess and they were very polite and respectful. Awesome job guys!! We will definitely use Rolland Reash again!
Two guys came out for minor repairs to toilets then line had to be opened every task they added more to cost which came to over $400. One guy was not happy with his coworker. I didn't call them back because didn't want them to return. One toilet still does not flush/work properly.
Great local company with prompt estimates, effective communication, and high quality work. We utilized Rolland Reash Plumbing twice over the span of 6 months for separate issues at the same property and will certainly use them again if anything else comes up.
Thomas came out today and fixed several leaky pipes under my home in about an hour. This was the second time I have used this company and they truly are amazing. Fast, friendly, fairly priced and just great experiences both times. Thank you.
Ed from the service team came to site and did everything in his power to help me resolve the issue without having to replace the toilet. We ended up replacing it, but was very helpful, communicative and clean. Highly recommended!!!
Fadi and Gerald was exceptional and extremely professional and completed the job in a timely manner. They were very polite. also cleaned the area in which they worked. I would highly recommend them again to complete any job.
Very impressed with the service provided by Zach today. He conducts work in a very thorough and thoughtful way, making sure the end result lasts. I highly recommend Rolland for any type of plumbing needs.
Best plumbers in Jacksonville! Our old "Farmhouse" built in 1949 has new plumbing and we couldn't be happier with the results! The guys are professional and work quickly. Thanks so much for everything :)
My company recently used them for a job at one of our customers home and they did a great job!
