Came up to the lookout as part of my run. Was rewarded with a gorgeous sight of the bridge lit up as well as parts of the city. Depending on where you stand, you get a view of both the bridge and the city together. Was nice right before sun rise, can imagine sights here at sunset would be pretty nice too.

If you want to have the best photos of Tasman Bridge, then this is the place for you. I went in the night and completely loved it. The place looks scary as there are no lights. Parkings are marked and I have not seen any toilets around. It may get windy, so wear your clothes accordingly.
There is so much more to Rosny Hill Nature Recreation Area than the magnificent view. There is a wonderful loop track right around the reserve and in spring an interesting sprinkling of native flowers. The walk is quiet and peaceful.

An easy to access and stunning lookout. I've visited numerous times. The day and night time views are spectacular. At night often there are a number of kids hanging around the area in large groups being quite loud but they have never bothered us when we have visited.
The lookout provides views south towards the Antarctic and northwest towards the Royal Tasmanian botanical gardens. Trees can get in the way. The view cements the reason why Hobart is the final destination of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. Magnificent.
The view from here was great and definitely worth a look. But unfortunately it's where a lot of the older local teenage kids Hangout and the place was quite grubby.

So dreamy and beautiful, make sure you park at the almost the last parking spot to find the best view of the bridge. Best time to go will be evening night for me.

It is a good scenery especially at sunset as it faces the west. There are trees and shrubs block the view. Car parks are ample and no toilet. If U use apple map it will not guide you correctly.

If you have a car this is a great place to get some perspective and orientated yourself to Hobart . Sat and admired the view before taking a short stroll around the perimeter of the Carpark. A good place to sit without being bothered by the
This lookout had magnificent uninterrupted views of the city and bridge. Unfortunately, the trees are growing so high and wide the views are disappearing. There are a few areas where you can get a good photo, but I don't know for how long.
Nice lookout over the bridge, maintained nicely. No curbs on the parking spots with a steep drop so make sure to use your parking brake

One of those must visit places if you're touristing through Tasmania. Lovely expansive views of River Derwent and Tasman Bridge. Sunrise is especially nice with Mount Wellington cap glowing gold with the first rays of the sun.
A must visit place while in Hobart, especially at night. The city lights and the Tasman bridge look amazing from the top of this hill.

A great view of Hobart, but this would be even better for a city lights' view after dark. Unfortunately we didn't make it back here to do this, but if I could pick only one time to go, it would be for a nighttime view.
Really nice view of the bridge! Plenty of parking spots, there’s a 40 min loop walk starting at the top. People come here with a meal and have dinner in the car. Easy access. Short drive from town, I recommend! More
Nice and calm place. You feel like in Europe. No ticket. No walk... best view. Must visit. Good in both day and night.

A good place to enjoy the scenery of Hobart and Mt. Wellington. Able to view Tasman bridge, Hobart City and Mt. Wellington. Very beautiful and very windy. Definitely a good spot for sightseeing
Great view of the city and just a few minutes from Hobart CBD. It is such a pity the trees cover a little bit of the view, but it still is worth the drive there, especially at night. More
probably the best lookout near Hobart city to enjoy the mount Wellington and sandy bay area as a whole. Amazing views! highly recommend to visit during sunset.
Perfect lookout for sunset There are a couple of parking spaces, can park and enjoy the view.

I’d give 4 stars, view of Tasman bridge is good but it’s obstructed by plenty of bushes and trees around. There is nothing else on this spot.
Whole Hobart is visible with this beautiful view

Lots of views of Derwent River, Hobart and surrounds around the walking track circuit and lookout. Parking at top and bottom.
Wish they cut down the tress a bit. But still amazing. Go during sunset. You’ll spot the Tasman bridge light coming on. More

The view was partially obstructed by the trees, but still a good place to see the Tasman bridge in the night.
Average at best, nice view of the western shore and bridge. Could be a social spot but not the way it is now
great view for day visit. doesn't look safe for night visit due to the teenagers
