There really isn't anything all that great about this particular station. In fact, it is what I would consider to be one of those newer intermediate stations, namely the ones where they have no facilities, no staff, and you simply come here to get on the train and get off it again (though I usually come here to just get on the train). Then again, there is a shopping centre nearby, and they do have a bus interchange, though a rather small one.

The platforms, and the bridge between them, have very poor cover from the elements. What makes it worse is the fact that the only Myki machine is located in a corner of the bridge (as seen in the picture) without any wind-proof barricade to prevent your Myki card from being blown away when placed on the machine to be topped up. Yes, that has happened to me before.

This station looks and feels like I'm in a dystopian world. It's eerily quiet, the carpark looms over the view as nothing but scrappy old rail can be seen. It does it's job, people here aren't weird

Metro announcement over the speaker. 'We are running good service on the Craigieburn line'. At the same moment the 6:50 train disappeared and the timetable was changed to 7:11.

We can say that it is a center where Iraqi and Arabic dishes dominate. There is a cheap market selling fruits and vegetables.
