I first want to start out by saying I don't believe that all safeguard self storage locations have bad customer service. But at this particular location I have gotten the worst service ever. The first day I went into this location I was greeted by a gentleman named JOSEPH. While showing me the storage unit I asked questions like most perspective customers would do and that's when the back and forth started. He raised his voice and got very defensive as if he wasn't there to answer questions about the storage unit. At that point I decided the best thing to do was leave. If you are unhappy in the field you are working in get a new job. There's no excuse for an employee to disrespect a perspective customer when their only trying to inquire about a storage unit at a STORAGE FACILITY. To make matters worse I received a call from Joseph today 7/17/17 saying that I didn't put my initials on a part of the document and when I asked him why didn't he direct me to do that while I was there on 7/2/17 he had no answer then made something up about me not signing the receipt. He already harassed me about taking some survey now I'm receiving a phone call with some fabricated story about my signature from 15 days ago. Truly disappointed.

Where do I begin. I guess I can say I’ve always had a great experience with Safeguard Self Storage starting from 2015-2016 and back again in 2020. The staff are exceptionally professional, but most of all, understanding and kind. I’ve recently did my last big cross country move back to NYC, and needless to say the travel only was daunting with a large moving truck. But I digress... again the staff have been so considerate and have gone above and beyond in accommodating my needs to get this chapter over and done with. I can honestly say I feel so blessed that all in all I’m back in my city, safe and sound with my belongings to really great people that made it there business to help in any way they can. Thank you so very much!!!! I sincerely wouldn’t know what I would do if it wasn’t for the lovely staff at Safeguard.

This was my first time seeking out a storage facility. I came across Safeguard Storage while looking locally within the neighborhood as I wanted to have close and quick access to my belongings. Since this was my first time using storage naturally I had a lot of questions. Joshua (Safeguard Self Storage Employee) took the time to answer them and provided a tour of the facility. Joshua was polite, friendly, and respectful which made me feel even more comfortable in making my decision to store my belongings at Safeguard. He even helped apply a promotional discount which was a big help for me financially. I would recommend asking for him directly if you have questions about storage as he is very thorough!

The employee Nigel was very very helpful he cool down to earth well that's good presenting himself well treated nice through the whole entire situation I seen him assist other customers as well as he was helping me he was nice to them helping them as well too he helped me with my storage unit explained everything simple and clear and you know came back to check to see if I was okay and you know I was like I'm good you know and I appreciate that and he was a good employee and safeguard you know I like the prices rates and but the employee Nigel he made the place even more better by helping me the way that he did thanks safe guard

I walked in at about 4pm today 11/21/20 and left at 4:35pm due to Staff Joseph’s efficiency and professionalism . I was looking for a small storage room for a few small personal belongings and he met my very needs right away. He was very professional and efficient in explaining all of the details of the contract. He provided key detailed information on how to operate the facility as well as explaining the lease contract . I had a very satisfying experience and I am pleased to be a customer with this storage facility . Anyone who interacts with Joseph in the near future will feel the same way.

The manager (Michael) is the best!!! UPDATE- Move-out after 2 1/2 yrs Words can't express the way I feel about my experience with Safeguard. I've dealt with other storage facilities in the past but no one comes close to Safeguard especially at the Albany Avenue location. The customer service and professionalism that I have received from the manager Michael is beyond me. He is such a welcoming person and always willing to help when there was an issue. As well as the rest of the staff members at this location. I will definitely recommend this location to everyone.

Thankful for people like Joseph that love their job. First time looking for a storage unit and didn’t want anything out of my way so I select Safeguard on Albany Avenue. He made the process quick and easy from start to finish. Very knowledgeable about the units then the person I had spoken to over phone, who wasn’t from the location. Joseph Wyatt & Michael Browne assisted my fiancé and I with our storage unity for a little over two year now and we have received excellent service from this location the ENTIRE time! We had an excellent experience using our local Safegaurd storage facility for a recent move. The site manager, Cheryl, was helpful and polite, as well as all of the other employees. Our move-in and move-out were easy and quick, there was no plenty of room for the moving truck to park. Our belongings (two large units full of furniture and boxes) weren’t dusty, smelled fine, and weren’t damaged through the three months of storage. Best of all, we had peace of mind about our belongings during a stressful transition.

I would like to commend Mike and the rest of staff at this branch of Safeguard storage facility. Mike especially has been the epitome of professionalism and courtesy when addressing any inquiries or concerns that I have voiced over the years. Recently my son lost his wallet and the next day Mike called to say that it was found and we could retrieve same asap. I moved into this storage unit from another in the area. I would first like the say the facilities are very clean. I have not seen a storage facility maintained to that standard in the area. Second the staff was very helpful especially Joseph. He walked me through the process of securing a unit and helped me decide what unit was best for my needs. The whole process was very pleasant. The employees at this facility were very helpful and had great attitudes. Any questions I had they answered it. Very patient with anything I needed. Dallas who is an employee at this facility was very attentive and showed her knowledge with the storage units as well as her being there to help. Dallas made my experience at this facility 20x more better than a prior facility especially with her great energy. Very clean as well. I give this facility a 10/10.

This establishment is well taken cared of. It's clean and the staff is respectful, friendly and EXTREMELY helpful. My Husband and I made the right choice renting our unit here. And oh I think he's a manager not sure but his name is Joseph and he is great! If he isn't he definitely should be as he represents the company well. I recommended my family and friends to here just based off his service other places the staff are rude and not as helpful as here.

The cleanest most helpful storage place I have seen in my life. The employees are super friendly, understanding and helpful. The units are clean and it doesnt feel like the dungeon ive seen other storage spaces look like. I feel that my belongings are safe and the prices for what you get are incredibly reasonable. Joseph at the Safeguard on Albany was great!! He helped my boyfriend and I look for the unit that best suited our needs. He was very informative and thorough, as well as personable and super funny. A well-run, well lit, storage facility. Safeguard does tend to be a bit pricier than most storage facilities, but few are as clean, well maintained, and secure like Safeguard is. Really nice, helpful, professional staff. I've been with the Albany Ave. Safeguard for over 5 years and I find them to be worth the extra coin for the piece of mind I get storing my stuff there.

Hey everyone ! I had my unit for over 2 years now. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend renting here. The prices are based on what’s going on in the market and they will share examples of why they are the most competitive based on size. Lots of space to park your car and the block the storage unit is on always has extra parking.

I had the best service I’ve had in a while Joseph was the best person for me to run into in my time of need things didn’t go as planned my first visit due to problems in the system the next day he got me in and assured me before coming in again that everything was taken care of. And sure enough they were I appreciate him and this company so much thanks guys.
