Gas station
"Always a good price for gas"
"When there are lines, they are fast moving because there are eight pumps with hoses long enough to reach both sides of a vehicle, effectively capable of fueling 16 vehicles simultaneously"
"This has become my go-to spot for gas"
"The prices here are the best ! Sometime I'm at the other side of the town needing gas ! But I always try to work out to get back here to get gas ! I saved a lot of money this year in gas because I pump gas everyday ( I do food delivery ) think about if you save 2 or 3 dollars everytime you pump and you pump everyday for 365 days of the year - recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"I came to the Safeway gas station and asked for them to turn the air on and a young man named Garrett was kind enough to come out and fill up all my tires with air he's very friendly and kind and it made me feel like it was 1950s America again it's such a refreshing feeling to have people want to go above and beyond you in regards to customer service!!!"
Always a good price for gas. You can use your Safeway rewards number to gain extra discounts on gas. The small store at the gas station has some good stuff too like; Milk, eggs and other household basics. You can get a large variety for cold drinks, hot coffee and several different snacks. They have cigarettes, Backwoods, Swishers and beer. ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
When there are lines, they are fast moving because there are eight pumps with hoses long enough to reach both sides of a vehicle, effectively capable of fueling 16 vehicles simultaneously. Prices are reasonable competitive in the environment of ongoing changing prices of fuels. It’s much more convenient to fuel up here than drive around looking for the “best” prices. Conveniently located on a major street and near a freeway, next to lots of local businesses and ample parking.
This has become my go-to spot for gas. There have a lot of stations, so it doesn't take too long, especially if you don't go during commuter hours. The gas is slightly cheaper than other gas stations (fairly competitive with Costco gas prices) however if you have a rewards account, sometimes they will take $0.10-$0.30 off per gallon. The other day I got $0.60 off per gallon. And when you need 16 gallons of gas, this makes a noticeable difference.

The dispensing nozzles, at least at the Tennant Station location are not compatible with all vehicles. We have to hold the nozzles above the neck of the filler pipe and hold the handle valve to about half on or the pump shuts off after one hundredth of a gallon. If not for the Safeway customer buck a gallon discount we would just buy all gas at Costco.
Supposedly they will open their doors at 5:00 a.m. Those of us who go to work early come to wait for them to remove the locks on the gasoline pumps, it's past 5:00 a.m. and they can't be seen coming out, they should stop being lazy and open at what time it is because we work far away and 10 minutes late he cooks half an hour on the freeway
Fuel quality is not at the level I would expect. I pumped 91 and got a check engine light afterwards, due to the octane not being high enough in my car that requires 91 or 93. Light went away as soon as I put a few gallons 100 octane in. Probably not an issue for most cars but be aware!
So convenient to get gas when I am grocery shopping. I am a rewards member and often get a discount on my purchase. Prices are very reasonable even without the discount. The only negative is that, at peak times, you might wait 10-15 minutes to get to a pump.
Always crowded for driver's side gas fillers. I have a large SUV. If the hoses were 2 feet longer, it would allow all vehicles to use either side of the pump. On the plus side, the prices are the best around. A big us.
There was a problem with the pump. The place was very busy (as usual) but I was helped immediately and found out that " I was the problem", thanked the guy and laughed at myself in the way out... GREAT SERVICE !!!
Good spot to shop, grab a coffee and go. Wide fueling lanes with onsite helper to keep the confused moving and me on my way to my next stop. Fuel prices really nice when coupled with the Safeway rewards program.
Pay $800 a month for groceries and the nascar staging area of a wait for a pump (if someone doesn't decide they are the most important person in the world and slide in your spot) might feel a little worth it.
Great prices and Savings if signed up with their grocery rewards card~ Just enter your phone # and discount will be taken off at pump depending how many reward points you have to use....Will always go here!
Can be crowded. Lots of confused drivers who cant seem to drive to a pump. Almost every time I go the receipt won't print for your purchase. Rather annoying. Prices are good but I don't like this place.
I love stopping there when I travel every month. The gas is always cheap and the place is big so there's rarely a long wait to fill up. For me, it's a huge plus that it is very well lit too!
Good prices. Long wait. Poorly laid out. Badly run. Broken pumps only had a cover on the handle so you couldn't know not to line up and go to them. Had to go through twice for this reason.
After fueling up with 91 octane, my car's check engine light turned on. This has raised concerns for me about the fuel quality at this station. I would avoid this gas station.
Always crowded but seems to move pretty fast anyway. Gas prices are the best in San Jose. If you go to Costco at might be a little cheaper but the people are totally rude.
Wow! What a blessing, a tall dark handsome young man named Mohamad behind me paid for my grocery. I can't wait to pay it forward. The clerks were all very helpful also.
Cheaper gas price than anyone else. Love how wide the lanes are you can actually pull out when your done filling up even if the persons in front of you are not. …
Easy to redeem points (for Safeway Card members) for saving on gas: .10 per gallon for every $100 supermarket spending with exclusions, up to $1.00 per gallon.
They have a card skimmer on pump #6 and possibly inside as well. I just got hit for 2 $40 transactions and employees are clueless. Pay cash don't use cards
Cheap prices and if you shop at Safeway you get discounted gas. You get cash price by using a debit card at the pump. Modern station with lots of pumps.
Tbh I prefer this gas station over any other. I feel like this place is a lot more affordable than most places and it's very close to my house.
My place to go to get gas before the weekend. Not long of a wait, though some people will cut in line. So you gotta be paying attention …
Nice have good gas at lower prices. Lots of fueling tanks with long hoses to fuel on either side of the car no matter which side you park on.
Clean, efficient, better prices than Costco depending on how many safeway rewards you have. I got almost a dollar off of my gas!
Fair prices plus you can use your Safeway rewards to get reduced rates at the pump or use your pump points in the store
Gas was at 3.33 today and with my bonus points went down to 3.13per gallon. Felt good to fuel up with 35 bucks!
Great prices for fuel. Plus they have a cool air pressure machine that does all the work for you. Love it.
Price is good. People who get gas there are rude and don't care make it easier for others who need gas.
My #1 place to go for gas! Cheap and its great gas, can use your points to get 10 cents per gallon off
Cheapest gas if you shop at safeway frequently and use your phone number for points.
They offer email gift cards but use excuses of why they can't process them. Total bs
Generally good prices. Every 100 dollars spent at Safeway is 10 cents off per gallon
Fast, orderly lines, use your Safeway rewards points to get $5 gas down to $4.09!
I love when I save up enough rewards for a $1 off per gallon. Super helps me out
Decent regular prices. Excellent prices with Safeway points' discount.
I can use my rewards for money off per gallon!
