Honor the anscestors! Several Mexican decendants, sharecroppers and other laborors, came together to buy this piece of land for our people to have a proper burial place free of charge. Purchased by the people for the people. Another plot was purchased not too far from this locale when it filled up, known as San Jose 2. History lives here. Pay your respects. Peace.

Let’s clean up these historic cemeteries, these are true Austinites at peace in their final resting places. Let’s show some respect and keep the area clean of litter at least.

Historic Catholic cemetary dating back well into the 1800s. Associated with Dolores Catholic Church, which is a little further down Montopolis Drive.

Does anyone know how I can get a head stone for a family member buried here...and person of contact. Do we know who manages it?
