Some of the worse food I've ever eaten. One of the volunteers that we spoke to whilst walking around the sanctuary recommended the harvest Cafe. We ordered a pie, chicken nuggets/chips,egg and Bacon roll and a spinach/Fetta filo. The spinach file literally smelt like feet (and was not eaten at all), the egg/Bacon roll tasted horrible, and the chicken nuggets/chips was dry as (making it hard to feed my 1 year old). $50 in total for literally trash. Next time we're bringing our own food!

Kid friendly in the sense of plenty of highchairs available but not kid friendly in the option of food available to them. Bring your own food!

Terrible food and service. Understandable when the kitchen has closed that you can only ordered food from display. Chicken schnitzel is grey inside and crumbs not even cooked. It is RAW. The staffs were giving you so much attitudes when taking an order as well. And forgotten our orders when it is not even busy! You guys need to put a little more thought about the food and trained the staffs properly. Such a shame! As you guys located in great spot.

Nice Cafe inside the sanctuary. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Has great got chips and other hot food. Sandwiches and rolls. Also has nice deserts and icecreams. Was lovely to sit outside and have the lovely colourful birds around you. Coffee was good also.

Probably the best place to grab some grub in the Sanctuary. It's near the entrance so it's not too hard to find, there are lots of places to sit both inside and outside, with toilets nearby. The food is pretty solid, with good vegan options for lunch, the daily specials and some decent drinks as well. Some items can be a bit on the pricey side, so do keep that in mind.

Great staff and keeping cool under school holiday pressure. Very impressed with the new grab and go options. Healthier options and lots of plant based yummies!!!!!

Only serve one size coffee, the quality is good, chips are good come with lots of tomato sauce, ready to go sandwiches , falafel wrap, chicken toastie, lamb borek and salads, the queue for food is to the moon on busy days. But there are only two cafes inside, so I guess this is the best you can get …

This is located conveniently inside the Healesville Sanctuary. We were given a device that would beep when the food was ready. The chicken burger was good but the fish chips was a bit oily. The fries was good though. Thanks.

It’s not often that a zoo has a good cafe but this place is quality. Yummy food, good service which never seems to get delayed even on the busier days. Great variety of options including all dietary requirements. I always like to sit near the window that looks out onto the echidna enclosure

Today was their busiest day in the last 3 years (according to one of the Zoo keepers) yet they managed to serve great tasting food in a reasonable time. Hats off to the staff.

Basic cafe fare. Had more gluten-free options than other cafes at the sanctuary but many options on the menu were not actually available. Long wait of over 20 minutes, which was posted on the menu but something to be aware of.

Nice cosy cafe with outdoor seating. It’s also very baby friendly as they have high chairs and there’s a parent room right outside. The coffee is decent and their fish and chips portion is huge.

5 star solely because of the brilliant, friendly service. Even though it was busy the girls smiled and laughed and enjoyed serving everyone. Good tasty food is a bonus. Beer and Cider available

Waited over 1/2 hour for some pretty poor quality beef burgers, the patty was like a big cheap meatball. Kids cheeseburger was also terrible. Enchilada was ok. Would not return.

Good service, hot and cold drinks and food etc. Good distancing/health measures in place . Most open area spaces of sanctuary open for online bookings only.
